Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shi wasn't the haphazardly type to blindly rush into the unknown, even despite his emotional state at this moment in time. He would need to research just where his goal would take him, and for that he would need to find a library. What better place than the library to garner the necessary information for his condition. Surely the library would hold many tomes of knowledge that would help him find a doctor that would be willing to operate on his brain. That would be easier said than done, however, as the type of illness he was suffering from was no easy feat to overcome. Even Sennin Nao refused to operate. So if not him, than who, and where?

After some time spent searching and pouring over numerous books he would come up empty handed, this might be the sort of thing he would need to resort to word of mouth for. But how do you even go about asking something like; 'Hi, do you know any world renown surgeons that specialize in brain surgery?' Yeah, just doesn't roll off the tongue very well. Not to mention he had no friggin clue as to whom to ask. He didn't want to ask Nao-san since he was the one that initially said no, he might have hurt feelings if he knew that Shishiwakamaru was going behind and over him to find someone else to perform the surgery. And those wild animal girls back there were probably not in the mood to be helpful either, so then who...

And so Shishiwakamaru began his journey at the library. Where else would a child go to in search of knowledge? Truth be told he still had no direction as to where to go looking. How does one look for "Someone who's really good at medical jutsu that doesn't live in the village." There wasn't exactly a section for that in the dewey decimal system. So where? Perhaps the medical ninjutsu section may have some insight, you never know. So Shi spent his time pouring over multiple books trying in vain to find any sort of clue. Sadly all he found was some writings from has-been medical shinobi, tons of books on procedures and definitions on various diseases and their remedies. Not a single one mentioned brain surgery, things were beginning to look grim for poor Shi. Perhaps he should just go ask Nao, stop hiding from his adopted parental figure and have 'that' conversation. This was just what he decided to do, stop running from his problem, so to speak, and trust that Nao knew what was best for him. And if all else failed, and there wasn't a single thing to do about his situation, then he would probably take the advice of that animal woman he met in the forest. This, of course, was not the best course of action, but Shi was a young shinobi who was bound to make many mistakes along the way to adult-hood. He also didn't understand the implications of such an act. Hopefully it would not come to that.

Blood, sweat, tears, it's a calling. The way of the shinobi was never meant to be an easy road, but this... this situation that Shishiwakamaru was in just seemed to unfair. Terminal brain tumors should not be the reason a ninja is dispatched in this world, no. They should go out serving their country, their village. Or something heroic like that. These were the thoughts running through young Shi's mind as he flung another kunai at a wooden dummy. A single tear fell into the ground below as Shi struggled with the concept of never living passed his teens. In the back of his mind he just hoped that Nao had come up with something, anything by now.

Slowly walking over to the target dummy Shi would pull out a trio of metal kunai, placing them back into his pouch for safe keeping. It was time. Shi tried to do this himself, but he was just a kid and would come up empty handed. He needed an adult, and that adult was Nao, and he needed him now. So Shi took off running towards home with only one thing on his mind. He felt un-well, un-safe even in his own skin. He would consult his parental figure before deciding anything further. Nao would have answers, and if not at least he could provide direction.

Entering the door of the clan estates he would remove his shoes and call out for Sennin Nao. "Nao-san, I'm home!" Now was the time for action.
