Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Jackal had watched, arms folded, as the patient lay supine on the bed. The doctor had been paralysed from the waist down, the victim of some kind of collapse of a building or cave-in. The details didn't matter now. Tanuki had been sent to his newest cadet, delivering a note that he should remain on standby, for the Hokage had permitted the doctor's interrogation, in order to get to the bottom of the origin of the sleepy blight afflicting Konoha. Transporting the man hadn't been a challenge; transporting him humanely certainly had been. Jackal had but to sling the man over his shoulder, as he groaned in pain from the stimulation of his mangled legs, and as quickly as he had come, Jackal had vanished. Viper was due to arrive shortly. In the meantime, preparation had to be made, and Jackal was confident his agent was well-prepared for what he was about to have to do, given he had passed his exam under precisely these conditions.

"Right, then," grunted Jackal as he looked down at his handiwork in the bare, barren interrogation room. The man was still heavily sedated, but now laying down tranversely across a table, not unlike an operating bed with a single light dangling above him. His upper body was strapped up, enough so that he could struggle and wriggle, but not slip free. There was no need to restrain his legs.

"Viper received the orders?" Jackal asked Tanuki, who was his exact body double, except for the fact that he seemingly couldn't speak. He gave a growling grunt of assent.

"I'll brief him when he gets here. If he does this right, we could have a lot of useful intel for Lord Hokage. If he fucks it up, well..."

Slowly, the bedbound man began to stir feebly awake.

When the shinobi had been training with his projectiles when Tanuki showed up. The masked being had made him jump, but he gave a nod to his fellow ANBU and moved to get dressed for any sudden call. If he was on standby, he needed to be prepared.

What do you think its about?

"Maybe the virus? I know dad's been working hard at the Byoin lately. We should try to catch him on a free day and catch up," Tsuki spoke aloud, donning the mask he and his counterpart had spent the better part of three days designing because it took them forever to come up with a concept they could agree on.

Whatever it is, this is our first mission. I'm gonna let you handle it at the beginning, but if things get dicey, let me have a swing.

"We still need to work on the whole back and forth thing." Given Tsuki had recently learned how to overpower his other half, they had a new obstacle to overcome. One Tsuki knew Keiko would struggle with, but one that would benefit them both if the time came.

Right now, though, we have a mission.

Once his mask was in place, Viper slipped out the door and made his way towards the Hokage Rock. He was sure his mentor would beat him there. He knew he had no information going into this, but he'd have to give it his best shot and see if he could get the man to talk. Whatever happens, you can't kill the guy. He's already been through shit.

Viper made his way around the land mass, heading for the same entry he'd used previously since he hadn't been made aware of any other yet. After riding through the tunnel and walking through the halls carved into the rock, he stumbled across Tanuki again, being led to the interrogation room that had been prepared prior to his arrival.

"Viper responding." He nodded to his newfound mentor, then turned his attention to the man to take in his bound form. His legs aren't restrained.

They dosed him up on painkillers.

Tranquilizers are strong, but they wear off. It would be too risky. He likely can't use them anymore. Viper tilted his head in observation. Look at his legs. They're mangled, though well treated. Likely damaged in battle of some kind. Once Keiko fell silent, Viper returned his attention to his mentor once more to pay attention to his briefing.
