Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yukari sits in a gentle silence, looking over the city. Wind rustles through the trees as her ponytail sways in the cool breeze, offsetting the warmth of the sun making it quite comfortable. From up on the rock, she notices people going about their days, unaware of her presence. Unaware that she longs for change, something new. Though the scenery is beautiful, and it's always breathtaking to overlook the city, something always feels missing.

"Gorgeous..." She mutters to herself, wondering what the day may hold. "I've not had time to myself to think, or just relax in a fair while. Not like this, anyways." She rubs her neck tenderly, remembering the faint memories of a battle leaving her neck broken. Though all is well now, it's still something she'd rather forget, or regain her strength to improve so it doesn't happen again. "Perhaps some training might be in order today..."

While it's always a pleasure to enjoy some time alone, training might be good. Having been gone so long has made her muscles weak, and her joints stiff though she's not aware of any of her old friends left here. Even those she used to talk to seem like they've been gone a long time. Perhaps a much different change is needed after all. Feeling the weight of her all too familiar black steel shortsword on the back of her waist, she feels a comfort she's not known for a long time. "Or perhaps some today's the day I make a new friend or two..."

A Medic-in-Training, Masami had some time off from her studies and visited Hokage Rock. She enjoyed the sights whenever she was there, because it overlooked the village and allowed onlookers to see all of the sights. It would give her some time alone to muse over her progress as a medical ninja.

Currently, she found herself behind on her research. Recently, she tried studying her own Sharingan, and thought that maybe she could provide more information about the Bloodliine to the village. She always has it on passively. One look at her eyes and you can see her crimson gaze and tomoe. It made sense to start with herself rather than external things – although she should probably pay more attention to the basic stuff like natural remedies since right then she was only a Medic-in-Training. Shame on me for getting bored this easily...

She really was hyperactive. There were so many things she could do. Maybe she could take some time to work at a flower shop? There were plenty of vendor kiosk around, too, so that gave her that idea. As she walked around, before she could lose herself entirely in her thoughts, she noticed someone else there, too. She looked like a fellow ninja, to her, and because of that she decided to approach her.

“Hey, what’s up?” She said to her, waving as she did. Maybe this was someone she met before, but she was bad with remembering people; yet another thing she needed to get better at. Silly her. Maybe she could make a new friend or sparring buddy; she didn’t get around the village a lot, after all. She still needed to get better at socializing. “Have we met before?”

Yukari’s gaze shifted subtly to the figure who had just greeted her to a kunoichi she hadn’t noticed before. Perhaps she had been too absorbed in her own thoughts, or maybe this newcomer possessed a rare talent for blending seamlessly into the surroundings. Either way, Yukari’s curiosity was piqued.

The breeze teased strands of her dark ponytail as she turned fully to face the girl, a calm smile softening her features. “Oh, hello there,” she said, voice steady yet warm. “I often come up here when I need to clear my mind. The view helps me think, especially when training or missions start to weigh on me.” Her eyes briefly stared out over the horizon, the village sprawling beneath the fading light.

“It’s not often I run into anyone in this quiet spot,” Yukari continued, stepping forward with a graceful ease. “So it’s a welcome surprise to see another person. No, I don’t believe we’ve met before. Our paths probably don’t cross much, considering the nature of my work.” She extended her hand confidently, the gesture both polite and inviting.

“I’m Yukari. And you are?” Yukari continued, “I feel like I've seen you around the village, but I know we've never personally interacted. Are you with any specific branch?”

Yukari catches herself, realizing asking that when just meeting someone may be misconstrued as rude. “I'm sorry if that was too forward. I just tend to like to know who people are when talking to someone new, and that helps me figure it out.”
