Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kureji was partying it up in the Red light district! They were playing a different type of music that he doesn't usually listen or make, but that doesn't mean he can't just enjoy himself. It was crowded and packed with people dancing to the beat of the music. The rock star himself had to step away to a little bit more secluded area, where there were still many people, but not as much just hanging around and drinking martinis or other things.

He would eventually find his way up to a vip area where he was immediately stopped by some guards who told him that he has no business there. Kureji would flash a smile at them before saying, "Ladies, ladies, calm down. I'm half the party right here." Apparently, the guards took offense by that, as they were in fact, guys who had more muscle and were even taller than Kureji himself. Probably about standing six foot eight or so. But that didn't deter the rock star at all. Not even when one of them grabbed him up by his collar and proceeded to lift him up a full foot off of the ground.

"Listen here you-" He would pause as Kureji would laugh hysterically. Confused, the man would set him down.

Kureji knows that he could turn these guys' brains to jelly but if he did that, he most likely would be thrown in jail at best. So he went with being unsettling. He walked past them without any further troubles and he would ignore the glances from the people who were actually allowed vip access giving him weird looks. It's almost as if they never seen anyone just ignore the pecking order before. He would lean his weight on the rail looking out over the night club. Whilst he was given the occasional glance to tell that they don't want him here, nobody had the guts to tell him.

Eventually someone did come up with a tray of shots that Kureji gladly accepted one and downed it in one go.

Kureji wasn’t the only one deciding to unwind after everything that happened. And while perhaps spending time in the Red Light District wasn’t something a lot of Shinobi would consider the best choice, It was a bit of reprieve for him in a way. After the meeting with Shin, seeing his family and the mix between a tearful reunion but also a stern yet needed talk, he was tired. He needed just a bit of fun before the War Machine against the twins really gets going.

Most people seemed to treat the Black Bazar and the Red Light district like a blight on the village…which was understandable. But in a way, the reason things were so bad here was due to the neglect. And before he went on his hunt for Raizo, he wanted to try and do something to help fix things here…that didn’t work out. And for the next few weeks, he’d probably be busy making sure the village still existed…including this part.

Als,o truth be told, he did want to get away from the topside a bit. His return and his actions during the battle did give him a lot of attention. And right now, he needed a bit less of it. And sure, some may think that the man dancing through the club could have looked like Sunaku Harupia, but who would actually think he was really him? Tho he did flex his name to work his way into the VIP section of the club.

So there he was, having a nice drink and dancing with some of the ladies in the VIP section, dressed in a dark vest with a red shirt under it, his pants matching his vest and fitting rather tightly on him, a golden chain around his neck and anklets around his wrists. Truly looking like the young Playboy Sunaku of old, dancing and entertaining some of the women in the VIP lounge. As he was getting himself a drink, he did see some commotion at the entrance…Someone brut forcing their way into the lounge.

Taking a look at the man leaning against the railing, he did recognize him…he was one of the Shinobi he noticed up top, riding one of the giant sand manta Rays…he wasn’t really familiar with him otherwise. Well…what better moment to meet a future brother in arms. As he was drinking the Martini offered to him, Harupia moved his way next to him by the railing saying, “Didn’t expect to bump into a familiar face down here, though I’m pretty sure we didn’t formally meet…Names Harupia. I saw you topside…not sure how you managed to do that with those beasts, but you did well,” he spoke, offering Kureji a handshake.

A waitress came by with some other shot glasses. Kureji went and grabbed one, thanking her as she walked past him and was in the middle of downing the shot when some guy came up to him. At first, he thought the guy was going to hit on him, which he doesn't swing that way but is cool with just about anyone, when in fact, he was here to talk about the battle that happened on the surface.

Kureji would shake the man's hand, already starting to forget his name as he was never really good at remembering names unless if the person has made an impression on him. "I'm Kureji." Would this guy realize that the translation of his name means crazy? Or would it go over his head? Either way, Kureji would speak once more, turning to the crowd, gesturing to them. "Music is something that transcends even language. Music done right can even go as far as effect the soul of a living thing, and I'm not even talking about it being spliced with genjutsu. It speaks to everyone, and everything on a deeper level that no language has a monopoly on. As for those magnificent creatures, I only gave them what all living things require. The freedom of choice."

He would look back out at the party of people down below that are dancing their hearts out, living the best of their lives. "The freedom to enjoy the moment. To feel. With music, it can even help people forget their worries if for even a moment. Or even better, can help em stand back on their own two feet. Those creatures back on the surface also wanted that I bet. To break free of the chains that bound them against their will to attack selectively."

He would look back at Harupia, "Tell me, what do you desire the most?"

He took a shot from the waitress as she passed by, though he didn't down it right away as he introduced himself. He shook the man's hand noding as he gave him his name. Kureji...That seemed like a very charged name. Question is was whether it was the parents' idea or perhaps the man chose it himself...still, he listened to him speak.

He wasn't sure what to expect, though honestly, what he talked about did contrast weirdly with the wild raving music that pulsed around them. So, he was a musician. He didn't really get a good look at what he did topside besides riding the manta rays. But shinobi using sounds wasn't something uncommon. But he did seem to be interested in letting people and living beings in general have a good time with his music. As he asked the question, he thought about it for a bit before saying "Honestly, I'd like some long-lasting peace. A chance to enjoy life a little bit. Dance to music, have a good drink with friends, work on some of my sculptures, maybe visit the other nations...Though I imagine they're dealing with some sort of bullshit as well," he laughed before raising the shot glass and downing it.

After a brief shake from the booze, he spoke again, "Helping others feel free is an admirable goal. What kind of music do you play? I don't really play instruments, but I'd like to think of myself as an artist...though honestly, I haven't had a chance to work on art for a while now, and it's looking like that won't change for a while" he said with a sigh.
