Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The current relations between Cloud and Leaf were hard to determine. Many things had happen and very little direct communication had occurred between the two villages in some time. Yet Ayumu found himself in the position where he'd need to do just that. Perhaps a week past, he'd met somebody claiming to be the Medical Sennin of Konoha... and then days after that he'd met another person claiming the same. A lack of information was never ideal, so he was seeking the truth now. Atop the gates of Dragon Tooth Pass, he fixed a scroll containing a message to a messenger bird's leg and send it on its way to Konoha. He didn't know when or if he would hear back, but off it went. With that complete, he would return to his tower.

A message to Konoha, sealed with the sigil of the Raikage:
To the leadership of Konoha:

This is a friendly word of caution for the leadership of Konoha. A week prior to my writing this message I met a woman by the name of Nagisa who claimed to be the Medical Sennin of Konoha. Days later, another woman came to our village by the name of Tsukasa Mikasa who also claimed the title of Medical Sennin of Konoha as well as co-acting Hokage. To verify her own status as Sennin, Miss Tsukasa was able to direct me to our own Medical Sennin who had met her in an official medical conference in Tea Country during the shinobi tournament.

Given this and that we have not heard otherwise from you, I am led to believe Miss Tsukasa and assume that the woman who called herself Nagisa may have been attempting to impersonate your Sennin for some reason. Miss Tsukasa suggested that perhaps your enemy Frost was up to something. At any rate, I am writing this to warn you of this individual so that you may do with that information what you will. If you have any information on this "Nagisa", I would ask that you fill us in as we cannot be certain if she has left the country or not.

Sincerely,
Raikage Kogami Ayumu

[OoC: Messenger animal sent out... Uncertain of required travel time for NPC messenger animals, aside from the fact that they skip OV zones, so I will wait the max 1 hour just in case.]

The unnamed messenger bird did as it was trained flying far across the land, stopping at checkpoints along the way where it could rest until it reached its final destination far to the south. Would it have a message to return with or come back lighter than before? Only time would tell.

[OoC: And given that I forgot about it for a bit, it's definitely been at least an hour, so birdy is well on his way!]

Some time later, the bird returned, it's task complete in its entirety. Not only had it delivered its message, but it had returned with a new message from Leaf meant for Kumogakure. Word that the message had arrived was sent to Ayumu, who made haste to the gates to retrieve it. When he arrived, he approached the bird, gently caressing its head as he retrieved the scroll attached to its leg. With the scroll removed, the bird flew to its home where it would take a well earned break. Meanwhile, Ayumu would break the seal and open the scroll, reading its contents carefully. As he read, the expression on his face would sour and transition into a grimace. It was not good news. He had been lied too and in believing this lie, he had allowed an unknown potential danger into the village. Crumpling the scroll in his hand, he looked up and spun on his heel, heading back towards the village. Somebody had some explaining to do.

[OoC: Message from Leaf retrieved.]
