Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The sky was dark, the waves were crashing up against the docks. It was tough night manning the docks and navigating the waters between Soons and Tea Country. It was an ominous night, one of the worst the harbor had seen in a while. Yet, the members of the port would not be dissuaded. This was their livelihood, this was their calling, and this is where they excelled. They guaranteed to dock any ship that came in without issue, and tonight, even through the rocky, choppy waters, that is what they would be doing. While the workers hustled and bustled up and down the wooded structure preparing for the incoming ship, a lone figure would also be standing watch this moment.

The figure did not fit the mold of the rest present tonight. It wasn't the fact the figure was female, there were plenty of capable women working tonight and for the docks, it was more her stature and attire. She was small, she was frail appearing, and clutched within her hands was a book. She almost looked like a child, out of place in this harsh environment. It was something that several of the workers had noticed, but most dismissed it to focus on the task at hand. Yet, there was one of the members of the pier that could not, in their good conscience, let this go without a friendly warning.

"Miss, you need to get out of here. I'd hunker down in an inn or tavern if you are waiting for someone or something on the shit."

The female would turn to the man. Upon her glance, he would visibly step back from the female. Her expression was expressionless as if a doll was merely staring at the man. Still glancing at him she would open her book in her left hand and raise her right hand upon the open page. A light would begin to emanate from her right palm, a visible representation of chakra accumulation. She would place the hand upon the book as the man would notice that text began to appear upon the pages suddenly.

"It was a dark night, a night that carried with it a foreboding feeling, yet there was no rage within this storm. No, this was a storm that was always going to happen, and it was one the land welcomed without hesitation. A reckoning needed to come... and soon, that reckoning would be arriving."

"The hell are you on about!?"

"The crew of the harbor would work diligently to ensure there would be no issues with docking the ship, a ship that carried a cargo that would bring about a new age within this country, yet the night would not be without fail. One of the crewmen would be lost in the violent waters, due to being distracted by a figure that was merely there to watch."

The dock worker would continue to stumble backward as the female continues to emotionlessly stare deep into him. He wasn't sure what she was talking about or if she was on drugs, he just knew his moment of wasting time with her was over. Almost ten seconds would have passed before it would have finally happened.

From out of nowhere a force of wind seemed to burst from behind the dock worker, a direction that defied the rest of the gust blowing in from the ocean. The force was both strong enough and enough of a surprise that the man would lose his footing and fall off the structure and into the black water below. The sound of the ship docking, the storm now picking up, would drown out the voice of the man screaming for help before his life was drowned out. With that, the female would close her book and return to waiting.

A few moments would pass before a tall figure in all black, head covered in a hood, would appear before the small female figure. The figure would show her first expression, that of an unnerving doll-like smile.

"Welcome, Grand Master. The Journeyman you dispatched has already started the groundwork. I will lead you to the meeting location."

And with that, the two figures would depart from the harbor.

The stage was still setting, but now more darkness has entered the country. A Journeyman, an Oracle, and a Grand Master... chaos was coming.
