Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

With renovations complete & the services offered within now complying with Sunan law the clan's casino could open once again. An extravagant lobby was the entrance to the Casino, featuring a water feature demon with its hand extended out. Swimming in the water below were various beautiful Nishikigoi fish. Lavish tapestry & artwork lined the halls as one proceeded further into the establishment. Once within a patron was greeted by a most peculiar sight, a summon maintained by Akkuma himself. A hellish creature stood within the door frame a beautiful woman, but she was a succubus. She wore an elegant kimino that seemed to wrap itself tightly against her curves, a fine red silk with black lotus blossoms seeming to flow from the fabric.

Hair as whiter then the purest snow fell over her shoulders & her eyes were an entrancing green. With serpentine pupils & a thin tail that flicked behind her back she eagerly awaited patrons. Those brave enough to approach the demonic greeter would be met with a smile full of sexual desire & an unmistakable hunger. "Welcome brave soul to the Devil's Lair...where you could win a fortune that would make a Devil jealous!" with a honey-like voice. Gesturing to her left she would point down one hallway "To your right you'll find the gaming sections & entertainment levels." gesturing to her right she would say "On your left you'll find our accommodation, we also offer spa services & have an extravagant bathhouse...please enjoy your stay & may the fates smile upon you." she would say with a small chuckle, bowing to the patrons & returning to her post to deliver her message to the next patron.

Compared to the hovels around it the Devil's Lair stood out like a beacon in the night with its lanterns & fireworks. Many would find it hard to withstand the temptations offered within. Greatest of them all the chance to win a life better then the one around them, but there was always one rule that gambler's seemed to forget. The house always won. While patrons came here to seek a fortune, the clan gained something they valued far more then riches...

With the Casino open Akkuma moved through the Red Light District hoping to draw even more patrons to his establishment. The clan had a parade going through the streets, a wild menagerie of exotic animals in tow. From beautiful songbirds, to ferocious carnivorous creatures they'd bought & trained in their travels. Many of their entertainers were dressed up for the occasion & Akkuma walked in the middle of the parade in the ceremonial battle garbs he'd had fashioned. The sigils of the Toraono & Miroku emblazoned upon it, the Dark Sage wondered if his tails were still keeping an eye on him. Perhaps they had not begun to watch him, well he would surely find out soon enough. Towering over all around him Akkuma looked awe inspiring & monstrous all at once. That crimson orb & diamond-like counterpart scanned the crowds that gathered to see them, as the onlookers were given pamphlets promoting the business, others handed out free casino chips. An act which ensured at least one visit from those they encountered.

Music was played by musicians as they progressed, fire breathers made the crowd gasp as others demonstrated martial feats. This moment was not only a business opportunity but a chance to project power & set a status for his clan. With such a bold act he doubted the local crime lords would sit idly power, such a blatant demonstration marching through district was an open challenge. People cheered as they were given various gifts, while others joined in with dance & song. For in times of war & despair a moment to distract from the horrors around oneself was exactly what everyone needed. But perhaps the boldest of the clans actions was the pamphlets being dropped behind them as they proceeded.
The Miroku hereby make the following public announcement in the hopes that it will reach one of the members of Sovereign. "To those who claim allegiance to the terrorist group known as Sovereign, I Lord Akkume speak to you. I challenge any member brave enough to face me in a battle to the death. I shall wait outside the Toraono Dojo upon from dawn to sunset for the next three days. Should none of you accept the public will know your cowardice & understand why you've resorted to the cowardly tactics utilized by your group."

A bold act that would no doubt cause more arguing among the hierarchy of Sunagakure, it was the perfect time to distribute such an open declaration. For with everyone crowding in their excitement & celebrations, only a few would stop to look at the pamphlets being surreptitiously dropped. Once the parade had completed its round march of the district they would return to the casino, where Akkuma would enter & take his place high above the gambling level. In his office that overlooked the patrons he wondered just how long it would take for one of his many enemies to make their move. Sitting back in his chair he flicked through the security feeds, he had a team monitoring the camera's. But the Demon enjoyed watching these mortals & how they acted when they weren't concerned with appearances.

Microphones littered the building so they had audio feeds of most rooms & tables. Only a few sections of the establishment didn't have surveillance devices, the changing rooms in the Bathouse, guests rooms, a single lead lined sound proofed room that was there for when the need came. Finally there was Akkuma's office, the demon liked his privacy. Standing he walked over to the viewing wall looking down at his guests, taking a sip of his drink he wondered if his tails were down there. Watching him, monitoring the activities he participated & looking for any illegal activities that were taking place. Fortunately Akkuma had put an end to any of that, with no need to be concerned he sat back in his chair & enjoyed his drink.

MFT
[OOC: The pamphlet/declaration is a challenge to the Sovereign & any involved with them. Enjoy the casino & party! Hopefully we upset some gang boss while we're at it. =P]

The Kazekage had ordered and orders had reached the Senju Clan. They were to escort Akkuma whenever the Miroku Lord wandered throughout Sunagakure. It did not matter if there was no love lost between the Senju and the Miroku. They were in equal standing with the Toraono Clan and, as such, they were obligated to work together, regardless of personal feelings. In fact, if things went smooth between those two clans, perhaps in the future, they would see common ground. And, eventually, find the ability to trust each other. But today was no such day. Today was following orders day. And Nagato had been ordered, by Kazuki, to serve as Akkuma's escort throughout the day. The Sunan Chuunin was 6'0'' feet tall Caucasian male. He was dressed in his usual attire, consisting of brown combat boots, gray pants and a hooded, white robe. The hood was on concealing most of his face, though a few threads of yellow, smooth hair, indicated he was blonde. The Uchiha's gray long sleeved shirt was concealed by the closed robe, via a red sash around the man's waist. Both hands were covered by brown leather gloves with metal knuckles and both forearms had metallic armbands. All in all, the young Senju's choice of clothing was supposed to make him undistinguishable in a crowd. Despite bearing little ANBU training, he had proven several times before, to be a very skilled assassin. Hidden beneath the sleeves were two small blades, perfect for silent killings. Nevertheless, Nagato preferred to allow his good ol' fists to do the talking, even though, as an Uchiha, he was equally adept of all ninja arts.

The Sand Chuunin would present himself to Akkuma, before the Demon left the Toraono Dojo. "Miroku Akkuma, I am Senju Nagato. Senju Kazuki has assigned me to be your escort for the day. Do not mind my presence, you will barely notice I am there. Please carry on." the blond guy would announce himself in a amicable, but professional way. With that said, he would position himself behind the Miroku Lord, passing of as a bodyguard, and he would follow suit the taller man. Unless spoken to, the Uchiha would remain silent the entire day. He would follow Akkuma as the man walked through the Red Light District (really a very poor choice of words). A parade of sorts had been created on the spot, while some had been cleverly fabricated by the foreigner. Eventually the crowd would wash away in the Miroku's newly built casino. Once inside, the Demon of Chaos would make his way toward his office, with Nagato on his tail. If allowed inside, the Chuunin would find a spot in a corner and wait there. If not, he would simply wait near the door.

The air was warm and dry outside the casino. As a man dressed in a tattered suit stood in front of the building. Looking upon its flashing lights and extravagant displays. He had missed out on the parade, it was probably rather extravagant, much like the casino before him. His cigarette gently rested on his lips, inhaling slowly before blowing out a soft cloud of white smoke. It had been several days, he wondered if Kaza was alright. Yet, he knew Kaza could handle himself, surrounded by his family. He didn't worry too much, still, a twang of doubt settle in the back of his mind. The demon in his head was deliriously happy about it.

Satou finished his cigarette, tossed it to the ground near his fine leather dress shoes. Adjusting his suit, fixing his black tie and dress shirt. Approaching the entrance was interesting, meeting face to face with another demon, it was an odd feeling. Soon as she started speaking, he could tell what she was meant for, standing there to entice would-be-patrons. His frown didn't change. His eyes a shallow empty black and dark as his long disheveled hair. "Thank you." Was all he mumbled as he slowly walked past the Succubus without even an inkling of interest in his body posture or manner.

Walking past the succubus and began to head into the gambling den. He could smell the wafting scent of alcohol, cigarettes and human sweat. Walking into the den of greed, he had expected just as much as he saw. tables of different games, machines upon rows lined with humans mindlessly sitting about, throwing what earnings of the day they had earned in meager attempts to gain some twinkling fame with currency.

Satou did'nt take to gambling, he knew the demon inside would twist it's hand to give him luck and win game after game, or it would turn the chance of other players in their favor, which he would lose every game. So he simply ignored the tables, ignored the machines. Yet the demon did not. Energy slowly moved unseen by naked eyes along the tables, moving pieces on the table, spinning wheels stopping on just the right numbers that several tables were winning, machine roulettes would spin but suddenly stop on winning slots to the joy of a few patrons in between.

It only stopped when Satou sat down at the casino's bar. Sitting among other humans, his dreary worn down expression quickly brought the Bartender. Satou gave two fingers. "Whiskey." He mumbled over the crowd around him talking, low enough that he had to repeat himself when the Bartender leaned in close. Satou could smell the cologne and after shave coming off the mans neck. And he felt a churning in his chest when staring at the man's throat. He caste his eyes elsewhere, till the bartender poured him a double shot of a random Whiskey bottle. Satou drank it as if it were water. Throwing some coin on the table. "Another, please." He motion slowly with his hand for more. The bartender was happy to oblige, drink after drink.

Satou wanted to wash away his thoughts, as images of his life continued to haunt his mind. The demon would push the images of the past to the forefront of his sight. People he's loved, people he's hated. Dead or dying in his arms, in front of him with only his arms reaching out to. But that was only within his mind. He merely sat there, staring blankly at his tenth glass of Whiskey. He drank it back slowly. Setting it comfortably down with ease as the burning liquid extinguished all sensations. The sweet but short feeling of intoxication washed over him, he could start smiling to the feeling. He motioned the Bartender for another.

"Sir." The Bartender leaned in close, only pouring a shot glass rather then a full glass Satou had worked up to. "Would it not be wise to slow down a bit? This is your tenth glass as well as the six shots you've already had." Those words actually did make Satou smile at the man. He shook his head no, pointed at his glass and tossed more money then it cost for the glass. "Either I drink here, or I drink elsewhere. Does it really matter?Pour me another." The bartender was flustered, but did so and took the money. Satou was certain the bartender would not come back to serve him. He didn't mind, he knew of other hovels to scour for more alcohol to numb the pain.

As he got up and began walking by tables and machines they would sound off with winnings and machines would pour small amounts of change as slots simultaneously lined up. He walked out of the gambling area, and past the Succubus as he reached into his pocket to fetch his cigarettes. "Have a nice night." He mumbled to her as he walked outside and breathed in the air. Only to mask it with cigarette smoke. Simply leaning against the building opposite of the Casino, looking at all the lights and fireworks that swirled and blended with everything. His vision clouding as he reached into his jacket and pulled out a metal flask filled with some alcohol he took from the Dojo. It wasn't enough to tide him over for the night, but it'll do while he sits and has a cigarette. Another swig, his mind drowning in a sea of booze.

Akkuma gave Nagato a nod & let the man take his place in the parade behind the Demon. When he'd entered the office the door had been left open for the shinobi to enter, the man had stood in silence in the corner. For so long Akkuma had almost forgotten he was there, when he leaned back in his chair he'd have fallen off if he'd been drunk. Because the realization the shinobi was still in the corner gave him a surprise. "You say even less then your Lord...come take a seat." the demon would say pushing a the chair out that was in front of his table with his tail. Next the massive man would take out a glass & pour a drink sliding it across the table. Holding the shinobi in his gaze as he downed what was left of his own drink. Being a demon the effects of alcohol never lasted long, but he had developed quite a taste for it.

"Enjoy the drink & tell me about yourself Nagato. I didn't get the chance to discuss the origins of your clan with Kazuki." he would command the young shinobi. Both his chakra & will reaching out trying to demand he comply. The technique was one known as Devil's Whisper a genjutsu that allowed one to influence ones actions using suggestion through words. Refilling his own drink he would wait to see if it would work, when he finished pouring his drink he looked up eager to see the outcome. Would the technique work or would Nagato's will prove to strong? This was just the first of many tests the young shinobi would find himself placed under while he was tailing the demon. Perhaps it was not going to be as easy an assignment as he expected.

Kaza ran toward the Casino cursing his clumsiness, he'd lost his love in the celebrations of the parade. He prayed to the fates Satou was there & safe, this district was not safe. Particularly for those with unique gifts, arriving at the Casino he ran inside. Passed the Succubus with a quick bow & turned on his headset. "Has anyone seen Satou?" he asked hurriedly into the security channel. Moments later a voice crackled through the headset. "He was just seen heading through the gaming section towards the exit." with that he spun around looking for his love. Surely he couldn't have been in such a rush he ran passed him?! Blushing brightly he spun around & dashed through the crowds towards the Exit.

Once outside his gaze rested upon Satou flask in hand & Kaza wondered if he was drunk or thirsty. Crossing the street he ran towards his love, when he reached him Kaza embraced Satou firmly. Holding on as he held his head against his chest, glad to find him safe. the young agent had heard the stories of the flesh peddlers & black market harvesters that prowled these districts. <B>"I'm glad you're safe my love...are you okay?"<i></i> he would ask looking up into his loves eyes. Kaza's headset crackled to life the security were discussing why Akkuma had an escort from the Senju Clan. There was much talk on the matter as his sudden appearance in the dojo after his disappearance had answered few questions & raised many more.

The Agent was slightly annoyed mainly because the security shouldn't talk about such things on the job & secondly because he didn't need these extra concerns. He was here to have a good night with the man he loved 'Tonight will be a good night...' he told himself trying to ease the concern something would go wrong. Wherever Akkuma was trouble always followed soon after, it was as if Chaos nipped at the mans heels. At least he had his love nothing could take from that, so long as he had Satou he wouldn't allow anything to ruin his night.

Nagato was so good at being a silent protector, Akuma completely forgotten the Uchiha was there, until he realized the hooded shinobi was still standing in the corner. The Senju man was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and he simply stared at the horizon with his dark blue gaze. "You say even less then your Lord...come take a seat." the Miroku Lord would command. Using his tail, the Casino owner would offer a chair for Nagato to seat on. Seeing no harm in accepting the offer, although he had the impression he was being baited into something, the blonde ninja moved forward and accepted the offered seat. Akuma would fill a glass with a crystal clear liquid and he would slid it over the younger man. The Senju Uchiha would pick it up and he would play with both the liquid and the cup, but he would ultimately simply place it back on the table without drinking any of it. "Thank you, but I don't drink." he would say.

"Enjoy the drink & tell me about yourself Nagato. I didn't get the chance to discuss the origins of your clan with Kazuki." the Miroku Lord would request. This demand would be a double edged sword because the Demon was not merely asking for information. He was applying chakra and his own demonic will into coercing Kazuki's cousin into complying to his request. Little did he know that Nagato was one of those individuals that he was always aware of genjutsu was cast on him and, as an Uchiha, he had the ability to reverse those onto the caster. Fortunately, he was not there to start WW3. "Just as much as he did not discuss with you about your own." the Sunan Chuunin would reply. "The Senju Clan has originated in Leaf and its history is deeply intertwined with the village itself. What else do you wish to know?"

As Satou sat and smoked, and drank very little from his canteen. His mind drifted deeply into a place of memories.
A stairwell, the height of it vast and unseen as it juts past the human eyes could see in the swirling abyss above. Satou climbed the stairs slowly with each step, books from the shelves slowly pulled from their place and levitating towards him, opening with many pages spanning his long misguided life.

One book he reached out to that passed him, opened to the pages of recent time, etches and drawings of his most intimate moments with his new love. He could live through those moments in his hours of solitude and lonesomeness. Here in his mindscape he laid in the soft furs with Kaza snuggled next to him. The warmth of the fire close by keeping them from the cold outside. He could remember every sensation, the feeling of his hand touching Kaza's face felt real.

The taste of his loves lips and the kisses that trailed down Kaza's neck. It was at the moment when he felt his lips part, his fangs sinking slowly into flesh and the rush of breaking skin and the blood flowing.

Satou came to himself when he heard Kaza's voice and stopped drinking his flask. Or rather he drained it in a few gulps and was sucking on an empty canteen when Kaza showed up. Satou quickly pushed himself up to his feet and took Kaza into his arms without hesitation.

Hugging tightly as his lips kissed his love's smooth warm forehead. Then atop his hair as his fingers trailed up and down his back. "Hey, sorry I got lost a bit. Everything got rather exciting and I just ended up over here. I knew you weren't far." He spoke calmly with a smile, of course he always worried a little bit for Kaza's safety.

Seeing the headset, he gave it a poke while stating. "Guess you're still busy, common, let's head inside. Maybe you can score me some better drinks. Sadly I irked the bartender by drinking too much." He laughed as without warning, scooped Kaza off his feet and carried him cradled in his arms. Walking ever casually while drowning his lover in gentle kisses and pecks on the cheek.

Carrying his love quickly inside, past the succubus once again and made their way into the Casino area. "Did you wanna play a game while we get completely wasted?" Of course it would be difficult to get drunk, but that's never stopped him before.

He wanted to enjoy his vacation with his beloved Kaza, and that included seeing how drunk he can get Kaza. And if something hilarious would happen. He gave his love another kiss and set him down. His lips lingering in a more rough kiss, involuntarily biting Kaza's lip gently. Satou wasn't one to care about public signs of affection.

A parade of some sort had occurred, there was music, cheering, dancing and more. To Shoma, the definition of 'more' in this case would simply mean evil. Pamphlets litter the ground, and within them is a very familiar name is printed. In his blue samurai robes, his stuffs three invites/challenges in his pocket. 'It is strange to see that this heartless fiend had the nerve to pose as some type of hero,' ponders the Samurai. He searches along the ground to spot a path that would lead to the parade's end.

Upon seeing a casino at the path's end, Shoma takes a deep breathe before entering. As he does, he sees a woman in a surreal kimono greeting those that ventured near and it was clear that she easily drew others near. This clarity comes from a growing need to approach her himself. It takes much willpower to push away his desires, however a vow made long ago as well as a bottled heart has prepared him. But the woman would approach him like others before himself and give the same greeting. He simply nods to her, yet wonders 'why her'? His curiosity is laid to as she lays his presence to reveal and inhuman tail. He immediately grows distaste for the creature and shame for his physical nature even being drawn toward it.

He stands in one spot as he looks around. He did not know much about the working of these places, but he did know that there was a strong chance that the one he sought might be here somewhere. The Fire Native does manage to find a few security cameras in many directions and believes himself to have a logical means of delivering a message. He calmly walks near a table to grab a used knife from a table that his been recently abandoned and proceeds to the bar. Once there, he would look squarely at a nearby video cam and stare for a while. After a few second, he takes out one of the pamphlets and stabs it into the counter, then looks up at the camera once more. With his message delivered, be it now or in due time, he would make his way to toward the door he came from.

Akkuma:
The demon sighed with slight annoyance when Nagato didn't drink, answering logically as he would have expected the Senju if their leader was any example of their natures. His escort placed the drink down saying his people had originated from Leaf, their people having been deeply intertwined with the village itself. An interesting note that he would be sure to remember. Nagato continued by asking what else he further wished to know about the clan. Was he annoyed at the fact his jutsu had not worked? Or was it the fact he had failed to provoke the young escort, he was finding the degree of discipline possessed by these shinobi worrisome. However they were human he just needed to learn more about them. However before he could ask any further questions his headset crackled into life. "Lord Akkuma, there is a Samurai on the premises." the alert caused the sage to chuckle.

Raising a hand to his earpiece he activated the headsets microphone "Bring up a feed on the monitor." he would order. Within seconds a screen on the wall lit up revealing a live connection to the gaming lounge. The demon couldn't believe his eyes, he watched with delight as the Samurai walked over to a table grabbing a foolishly abandoned weapon. He took note of that & would be sure to reprimand his staff. When his headset crackled once more the words spoken were much more sinister. "Shall we deal with him sir?" his head of security would ask, for the Miroku were no friends to the Samurai. With a chuckle he spoke once more into the device "No let us see what he does..." he would say curiosity apparent in his voice.

"Understood." a singular acknowledgement of his command, the security forces in the background could be seen easing back from the Samurai. The man approached a bar looking directly up to one of the camera's before he'd even given the command the feed switched to that camera. "Shoma..." he uttered the name as his hands clenched into fists, the brazen audacity this man possessed to walk into his establishment. Dark chakra seeped from the demonic creature as he spoke into the headset "Ladies & gentlemen...beloved patrons of the Devil's Lair. It seems we have a contender...a brave samurai who wishes to play the role of hero. Master Shoma...will he slay the demon & get the girl? Find out three days from now at dawn! Where you might ask? Where but outside the Toraono Dojo...may the best warrior win. Place your bets now." his voice echoed around the casino like that of a Ringmaster announcing the grand show.

His gaze shifted from the monitor to Nagato ablaze with delight, disconnecting his headset he began to chuckle with a mad delight. "That Samurai was the undoing of all I had planned...to think he would offer himself to me so eagerly." as he spoke a shark-like grin spread across his lips that would curdle the blood of the most stoic warrior. Standing he would walk to the window his gaze finding Shoma, he would watch them Samurai exit. The man was an honorable opponent, the demon knew he would try no prior attacks before the challenge date. Many of his staff looked from the demon to the samurai with worried expressions. Who was the mysterious warrior & why was he going to be battling their lord? What history did they have that was unknown to them all. "Tell me Nagato what does your clan do to its enemies?" he would ask the young bodyguard a curious question considering the potential questions he could have posed.

-Clan NPC Miroku Kaza-
Kaza & his love embraced in that moment like all the times they embraced he briefly forgot about the worries of the world. When Satou said he had just gotten lost in the excitement he blushed "I'm sorry I should have stayed closer..." he would say, Satou gave his headset a poke noting he must still be on duty. The Agent felt a pang of guilt in his heart he had been so busy with his clan duties as of late. "I'm sorry my love..." leaning in close he would kiss him on the cheek before whispering into his loves ear. "I think Lord Akkuma was just challenged to a duel..." he would say as the crackling of his headset died down. How he hoped his lord had no intentions of destroying their casino on its first night of business.

Satou swept him up into his arms heading towards the casino intending for them to have fun no matter what. The agent cradled his head into his lovers chest enjoying the moment, when Satou placed him down they kissed once more. Satou playfully biting his lip, their small exchange would go mostly unnoticed by most of the patrons. For this was a house of sin a place where ones desires could become reality. They sat before a table that had six holes on the borders of it, inside each were small spiderlike creatures. Though each of these creatures had a stripe painted down their bodies, in the middle of the table was a six legged lizard. Small horns protruding from its body, as it licked its lips eyeing the crowd around the table. "Ten thousand yen on blue." he would say to the game master. Leaning closer to his love he would whisper into his ear "The raikiri lizards natural prey is a blue beetle..." he would say with a mischievous smile.

When the creatures were released the raikiri lizard dashed for the faren spider that had the blue stripe down its body. The game masters only played the spiders with that color on a rotation. There were tricks that only those of the house would know, after all the house always one. It was a saying that always rang true in houses of sin, Kaza looked round until his eyes rested on the man wearing Samurai robes. 'So that's the man that challenged Akkuma...' the agent felt a nervous pang in his stomach, his grip tightening on his lovers sleeve. He had to remind himself of the strength of his Lord 'Lord Akkuma will be fine...' he repeated the mantra as he watched the samurai exit.

As they had walked into the Den of sinful games. A tinge of something grew in him, he didn't know what at first. It was if a swell of energy wanted to rush from his skin. Yet he remained calm, cold skin with no goosebumps. His heart was a steady rhythm that he listened to. As he listened to Kaza's.

Satou had a gander around, looking at all the interesting games. Kaza had been apologizing too much. Satou leaned in, absentmindedly kissed Kaza on the forehead. "It's ok Love, as long as you're safe and happy. So am I." He spoke softly with warmth, and the joy of having Kaza by his side. After hearing that Kaza's Master was going to be facing someone, Satou tapped his chin with his left Index finger. "Sounds like it'd be quite the show." Indeed, perhaps we'll go have a gander when it happens.

The monsters voice in his head worried him. It sounded calm, it showed interest in this demon who owned this "Lair". Speaking of Demon's, Satou could feel his insides move. His heart pounded a bit harder, his hairs felt as if standing on end. He could sense it more and more, other demon's. Not just the succubus's energy, but several other demons littered around tables and at machines. And a rather large presence above his head. It mixed in with the smell of human sweat. The smell of human Blo-

His mouth felt dry, he cleared his throat. Looking around at people smoking, hand movements blurring, as one could take a breath. A cigarette hung from his lip, air itself heating at the end of the cigarette. With the tinniest force of kinetic energy to cause friction against the end. Making it a completely gasless ignition in a nice smooth inhale. Filling his lungs to the brim with smoke. He breathed the cloud overhead rather than pointing it at anyone. Gathering in the smoldering amalgamation of other chain smokers.

He tuned it all out for a bit as Kaza gathered him and guided his feet. He let the world blur behind the excess of Alcohol and the sudden rush of smoking. He felt his feet moving till he stood with Kaza at a table, Resting his head on Kaza's shoulder, leaning on him, he breath the smoke out from his nostrils slowly as he listened to Kaza's explanation on the game presented before him.

Satou thought of it as neat, seeing Kaza with such glee at his insider's knowledge about the Lizard, it made Satou equally happy. Keeping his arms wrapped around his Lover. Kissing Kaza's ear gently as he whispered. 'So clever and cute, I'm a rather lucky man." He watched the game as the lizard was closing on it's prey. Something primordial played in Satou's mind.

Standing near the edge of a precipice high up of some unknown mountain. That expanded far into a clouded depths below. His prey was scrambling to find a way down. She was crying so horrific and panic was written all over her body, the site of it made him shiver with glee.

He hadn't eaten such appetizing prey in days. There were the bugs, the snakes and the rats to munch on. But the Demon craved for more. So it swooped down from the mountains, like a nightmare hidden by the dead of night.

Silently crept into a random soon be victim's home. Snatching the child of the family with but a whimpering cry of the girl into the night, a full moon hanging over the distressed village.

Now the Demon stalked its cornered prey. She couldn't see him in the dead of night and cloud's, the winter biting cold at her skin as she shivered, sniveled and cried. It was the most delicious music to the creature's ears. It took no time to leap out and roar at her with enough force to shake the air around her.

Causing her screams to quake with fear as her body leaped back. Almost forgetting the edge of the precipice. The girl screamed profusely as she tried her best to balance between not plummeting boundless feet below, or being ripped apart by the demon that stole her from house and family. Her fear and panic were almost palpable as she begged for her life.

The demon was not surprised by this whimpering attempt at survival. So many have tried to before. And they all met the same fate. With a simple flick of it's finger, the kinetic energy it shot was sharp enough to slice her throat on the left side cleanly.

Like a rather large paper cut. Her eye's were so beautiful when widened with sudden fear and realization of pain from her throat. The gushing rush of heat leaving her throat as both her hands reach up to stop the bleeding.

The demon was there before her next breath, ripping her arms back. Breaking them as she screamed a second later, it all muffled when he sank his teeth into the visceral wound. Causing even more juts of crimson to spurt.

Leaving only the defining howls of the night mountain winds and the soft gurgle crying in Satou's ears. He slowly removed his fangs from the gaping wound, coughing and swallowing flesh and blood as his right hand held the wound close,

The crying girl looking up at him, tears and nostrils running. Blood leaking from the edges of her lips as the last few bubbled blood gargling ceased.

Satou was alone, alone with a dead girl in his arms and the sound of the Demon's laugh on the hallowed winds surrounding him on the bleak precipice.

When he faded back into reality, it was the sound and sight of seeing the spider snatched up into the lizards mouth, and chewed down violently. Also Satou just realized he was inches from sinking his fangs into Kaza's throat with his head turned to look at something. Satou pulled back in timing to feel Kaza tightening his hands on his arms.

Kaza's gaze was on something else than his current winning of the odd game. He was glad his love didn't notice the attempt to feed. His hunger burned his throat, it burned down to his chest like swallowing hot coals. Noticing his smoke on the floor, he tapped it out.

Satou's burning demonic eyes followed where Kaza was looking, as he rested his chin atop Kaza's head, looking at someone leaving the Casino. "He looks tough, wonder where he's off to in a hurry." Satou mumbled as he popped another cigarette in his mouth and puffed a small cloud overhead.

He followed where the man had been walking and noticed a knife jutting out of the counter with something attached to it. "Oh, those." He pulled the same issue of challenge he found on the street, when he followed the parade over here.

"So he's gonna fight your Master? Should be an awesome fight." He mumbled , taking his smoke from his lips, as he kissed the back of Kaza's head and rubbed his back. He blew out a few more puffs then extinguished the cigarette in a snuffer and pocketing it.

Looking back at the table, the blue spider was dead and the lizard happily chasing after other prey. "You won the game love. Let's collect your winnings and jump to another game." He spoke calmly as he tried keeping an upbeat mood. He was thirsty, he required some alcohol. "Hey love, wanna go buy us some drinks?" He mumbled when wondering what game he'd watch Kaza win at next.

Akkuma would sigh once Nagato refused to take a drink. Perhaps he had hoped that alcohol would dull the young man's senses and make him easier to prey to pry information about his clan. But there were few Senju that enjoyed alcoholic beverages and the Uchiha certainly was not of them. Their conversation about the Senju would be momentarily diverted as the demon received a communication. "Bring up a feed on the monitor." the Miroku Lord would order. One of the screens on the wall would lit up, revealing the gaming lounge. They watched as a samurai walked around the room, eventually stopping at a table and picking up a discard knife. He would use such slashing utensil to carve a message that no one could confound. "Shoma..." the Half-Demon would mutter. "So you two have a history." Nagato would note. If Samurai were involved so did the Senju. The Sunagakure Chuunin had no love for Samurai, although his hate for them was not as deeply entrenched as with Kazuki, for an instance. "Ladies & gentlemen...beloved patrons of the Devil's Lair. It seems we have a contender...a brave samurai who wishes to play the role of hero. Master Shoma...will he slay the demon & get the girl? Find out three days from now at dawn! Where you might ask? Where but outside the Toraono Dojo...may the best warrior win. Place your bets now." Akkuma would broadcast over to the entire casino facility.

"So you have accepted his challenge. Good luck Miroku Akkuma, you might need it." the Uchiha would speak. If the duel were to really happen in the outskirts of the Toraono Dojo, there would be no need for a Senju escort. Such devices were only needed when the demon walked inside the village. He had no desire to see a fellow shinobi being felled by a lowly samurai, even if that shinobi was this devious half human in front of him. "That Samurai was the undoing of all I had planned...to think he would offer himself to me so eagerly." the Miroku Lord would comment, this time just for Nagato's ears. The elder guy showed a rather large grin on his face, it would seem he was eager to fight this guy called Shoma. "Tell me Nagato what does your clan do to its enemies?" Akkuma would eventually question. A curious question considering what had just happened in the casino. Nagato did not have to ponder much about it though, it was quite simple. "We kill them. There is no mercy for our enemies."

Akkuma:
The Sage gave a nod as Nagato noted they had history although he wouldn't elaborate on what had transpired just yet. After he accepted the Samurai's challenge he watched the man leave. His Senju comrade wished him luck & he chuckled Lady Luck was a fickle mistress he would not wish to enter her domain once more. Pandemonium was his Mistress. All she asked for was devotion & in return she aided him with his battle against the Fates. Nagato's answer to his question did not surprise him. It made sense, the Senju seemed to cold to have the passion of truly enjoying defeating an enemy. Turning to Nagato he would reveal that shark-like smile yet again. "Death is a mercy young shinobi...life can be the greatest punishment of all to some beings." he would say giving his thoughts on Nagato's answer.

Akkuma began to walk towards the table when he felt a shiver run through his body. A dark look appeared on Akkuma's face, one full of hunger & bloodlust. It seemed his establishment had drawn out a creature like himself, there were many inhuman beings here. But this...he hadn't felt anything like this Old in a long time. Whatever was down there was an Ancient being 'How interesting...what have you been hiding from me Suna.' he thought to himself as he turned back towards the glass & gazed down towards the crowd. There was no obvious beings he could see, unfortunately not being able to fully use his Onmyouji he would be forced to mingle to find the creature. But first he had certain matters to attend to he needed to truly test this shinobi that was escorting him.

Walking back to his table he would say "Something else is here tonight..." he would say as he activated his security comms. "Be on the lookout something Ancient walks among us...keep an eye on the patrons." the Dark Sage cared not what beings decided to give him patronage but he did care about Sousuke giving him a lecture about people dying in his establishment. Looking up at Nagato he would continue his discussion "In regards to Shoma...he intervened in the Exams." there was a cold rage to his words as he continued to speak. "Shoma is a man of foolish ideals, a Samurai from Fire Country. You see there were practice targets that had been cursed, the damage dealt to them was to be scored. However it backlashed to spectators." he would casually say to the Chuunin fully aware of the implications that statement held for his foe.

He would wait to see if the chuunin had anything to say before going on, he held a mask of contemplation upon his face as he held the shinobi in his gaze. Would he want to know what transpired that day?

Kaza: - Clan NPC
Kaza smiled as his love reassured him the Agent enjoyed the game & the advantage his knowledge of creatures had given him. When he watched the Samurai exit he listened to his lovers words. "You're right he does look tough..." close to his lover he whispered into his ear "I think Akkuma is something more then just a half-demon...I can't explain it. One thing is true whatever he is my Lord is a creature of Chaos." he would end his quiet words with a soft kiss upon his lovers cheek before watching his lover take note of the flyer the Samurai had impaled.

With Satou's words Kaza agreed "It certainly will be a good battle...Samurai against Ninja. A battle that has been played out countless times in history." he would say with a smile after all there was an natural disdain between Samurai & Ninjas. When Satou asked him if he could get him a drink the Agent laughed. "I'm sorry my love I can't believe they'd cut you off." he reached out to the nearest worker who recognized him immediately. "Hey Kaza what's up?" she asked in a bubbly voice. "Can you tell everyone that Satou isn't to be cut off & add them to my tab." he would tell her. With a warm smile Maki said "Sure...oh & Kaza has Akkuma met Satou yet? He was asking us to keep an eye out for an Ancient being." she would say with a chuckle giving Satou an appraising look "You don't look Ancient to me." she'd say with another warm smile.

The Agent blushed 'Can he really sense him even among all these other beings?' he thought to himself with a sigh, his lover asking him what game they would win on next. Causing him to laugh warmly, if only he was that insightful. "I'll get to it Maki & don't even think about it he's mine." with that she laughed giving them a wink & walking off. Moments later another server would appear offering a fine bourbon bottle to the demonic shinobi. Collecting his money from the table he turned to face his love "Shall we go & see Lord Akkuma? I'm sure he'll be thrilled to meet you, no doubt he'll be dying to discuss his upcoming fight." he asked his lover Kaza would let Satou decide if he wanted to see the demon now or later. With his hand in that of his lover he waited to hear his response. Kaza was positive that things would go well.

'If anything I'll just make sure they both have decent supplies of alcohol & we shouldn't have a problem.' he thought to himself with a warm smile. Before long the two most important people in his life would meet, how he hoped it went well. A knot formed in his stomach what would he do if things turned for the worst? There was a part of him that sunk he knew what he would do, the same thing he'd do & he knew that there was no way he would be able to live with that.

"Death is a mercy young shinobi...life can be the greatest punishment of all to some beings." Akkuma would note upon hearing how the Senju treated their enemies. Was the Half-Demon wrong? No, not entirely, but death could also be very punishing. "Death is the ultimate theft. It is also the greatest punishment you can inflict others but not, sometimes, directly on those you have killed." Nagato would surmise. The cycle of Life and Death was obscure to mortals. Few humans had the ability to fully comprehend that circle, let alone master it. Only those known as Dark Sages had any chance of actually honing powers over death and life and use them for their own services. Kazuki, the Overlord of the Senju Clan was one of those rare individuals. If their sources were correct, Neophyte and the Miroku Lord were two others.

Akkuma would fall silent for a while, gazing the table beneath the desk. Eventually he turn around and gaze the crowd below. His face would show a different set of emotions than before. Hunger and bloodlust. The Sand Chuunin did not understand what triggered those and, as far as he could see, he did not find the root cause among the crowd. Though whatever troubled the owner of the casino was discarded to be take care later on as the servant of Pandemonium returned to the table. "Something else is here tonight... Be on the lookout something Ancient walks among us...keep an eye on the patrons." the Miroku Lord would say over the comms. "In regards to Shoma...he intervened in the Exams. Shoma is a man of foolish ideals, a Samurai from Fire Country. You see there were practice targets that had been cursed, the damage dealt to them was to be scored. However it backlashed to spectators." Akkuma would detail. "A samurai from the Fire Country?" the Sunaku would state, a curious tone on his voice. It was not exactly unknown how deep the hatred for Samurai ran on the Senju clan. "Please continue." Nagato would request after eyeing Shoma under a different light.

The sensations flowing through his body was a mix of pleasantries to cringing pain. He was somewhere stuck in the middle of it all, watching with burning ember eyes hiding behind locks of black hair. Watching humans and monsters intermingle among the hidden crowds of tables and flashing machines.

His soft dry tongue tried wetting his lips, listening softly to the bustle of the den. "Chaos can be a fickle being." He mumbled listening to Kaza's words play in his ear's. "Ninja's and Samurai, how I've seen many die over their eternal struggle. Always to see which is the better killer. I wonder what their reasons to battle each other might be?" He spoke softly, almost dryly. His eyes wander away, trying not to stare intently at Kaza. Only looking back at his love to speak.

He smelled someone approaching and held Kaza to him, he was rather protective. Centuries of pain had made him clingy to those who held his heart. The worker who approached was stopped by Kaza, after he apologized for their blunder in cutting off alcohol to him.

The woman spoke and reassured that he wouldn't be cut off from his burning elixir. He gave a warm smile while speaking. "Thank you, much appreciated." He spoke smoothly while leaning his head forward, kissing Kaza's ear while whispering when the worker went off to continue her work. "I guess a thousand years is Ancient." He laughed a bit. This Akkuma could tell that the demon inside Satou was old, and that interested Satou. If Akkuma knew anything about the demon, it would probably be vital in some way to combat it's control over him.

In his head he could hear it's laughter at him, it's deep voice whispering to his thoughts. Wish all you wish, it will change nothing in the end. To which Satou replied with. Shut the hell up, i'm trying to think. I don't need you mumbling in my brain right now. Bout to meet someone interesting.

When the bottle was placed in his hands he came back to himself and smirked, only to grin as without word immediately popped the bottle open with blurring speed and began chugging the bottle down quickly in a series of loud gulps and breathing sighs through the nostril. Empty the bottle in one long pull he breath a long heated sigh that was hotter then the room and left a trail of heated breath in the air.

He leaned back feeling the heat run through his chilled body, the world began to slightly twist in a more positive way with the clouded haze of drunken stupor made his body look laxed and eased. He wrapped himself around Kaza, kissing him passionately without words.

Hearing his love speaking about meeting Akkuma made him pause for a second. Satou looked about at the people and monsters sitting about one another, playing their games and being entertained. Maybe a change of scene would be nice, his grin turned into a softened smile as he kissed his lover's lips, then trailed to the side of his neck. Teasingly giving his love a gentle bite, not enough to break skin but enough to let Kaza feel the point of his fangs against skin.

"Of course my love, lets go meet this Miroku Akkuma. I've been wondering when I'd meet this Master of yours." He whispered while trailing his kisses back up to softened lips. How he wish he could just lay smothered in softened bed sheets with his lover, but now was not the time for pleasantries of the body. Or perhaps later when checking out the other facilities of this Den. The thought made him laugh a little, wondering the reactions of onlookers.

He swept his lover off his feet and began carrying him around in his arms. Spinning softly about in a dance as he kissed and whispered words of affection and lust into Kaza's ear, of all the dirty things he would do to him. Even in the company of public eyes. "Now point me in the right direction love, show me where this Miroku Akkuma is?" He gave one last kiss before waltzing off in the direction Kaza pointed to.

Ever more did the demon start to push through, even without Satou noticing at the moment of being intoxicated. The demon released it's presence to the entire Den. Waves upon waves of demonic energy started to flow through the den, running along feet's and up the walls. Much like an engulfing flame suffocated the air. Satou's demonic presence would be more felt through the entire establishment than need be.

Both Miroku Akkuma and his dutiful watcher Senju Nagato, could feel the Elder Demon slowly approaching. Much like all creatures on this plane of existence, no matter how powerful a being is. Satou's demonic energy would make anyone feel uncomfortable, like the feeling a deer get's when staring down a wolf slowly approaching. The body wishes for everything to move and get away from this danger. Run, flee from him!
Satou was close to the room now, kissing his lover and gently setting him back to stand on his own two feet.

Akkuma smiled as he listened to the Senju's words 'Perhaps I might be able to find common ground with these Senju after all.' he thought to himself. The Dark Sage could have gone further in depth with the discussion but he chose to continue on his current path of dialogue. It seemed the bit that had caught the young clansmens attention the most was the fact that Shoma was from Fire Country. Nagato repeated the segment of information as if he wished for the Sage to confirm that detail. "Indeed from the Announcers information about him he was a Samurai from Fire Country. Although he was a subordinate of the Tsuchikage at the time." he would say to the young Senju, he could feel it getting closer.

Once he had elaborated Nagato asked him to continue "There was no rational thinking everyone expected the shinobi to just hand themselves other. Shoma demanding we all do so offering himself." he chuckled remembering the scene as it had unfolded. "I had no such intentions of handing myself over to authorities that were under the command of our enemy. So I intended to leave with some other shinobi..two shinobi intended to block my exit." he laughed a devilish sound. The sinister look in his eyes would spoke volumes. The demon was clearly not the type of being to tolerate others getting in his way, no matter the consequence.

"I was merciful...it was quick." he would say once more a murderous grin upon his face. "Naturally upon seeing two fellow Samurai fall Shoma could not allow me to depart so he engaged me in combat. Along with some of the other participants, eager to direct the suspicion of those gathered there upon anyone but themselves." as he spoke the demon poured himself another drink, lifting the liquid to his lips as he had a mouthful. "Eventually others were forced to join when it became obvious none of us intended to finish the battle until someone fell. Hissori the Tsuchikage ordered his subordinate & myself to stop but we would not. Thus the Tsuchikage & other various shinobi from the hidden villages joined against me."</B><i></i> he smiled as he said those words, the Sage had survived even that.

"I still know not who healed me after I had fallen in battle."<i></i> he would offhandedly say to the sentinel before him. That gaze of his filled with malevolent intent slid to the door, he could feel it coming closer. But surely it wouldn't? Not after all these cycles? To have the audacity to come to his place of business, right to his office? Well now he thought about it he wouldn't put it past the bastard.

~ Miroku Kaza
Satou's words made him smile <B>"That he can..." h would say before giving a small smile. His loves words brought a solemn feeling to his heart, it was true how many would have to die in this endless cycle of hate. When he asked what their motivations could be Kaza could only shrug, although if his suspicions were right. Which they often were then that Samurai was one of those who had opposed his Lord. It had been the first things they had said to Kaza upon their lords return, he had been in a less then reputable state upon his return.

On the brink of talk of war among his clan with those in the village, he had quelled the uprising & slain Osagi the instigator of the unrest. Kaza blushed with a chuckle as Satou pulled him close at the arrival of his kin, protective of the young Agent. Smiling he made his exchange with her giving the woman a brief hug before they departed. Trying not to blush at the feel of his loves fangs against his skin & the desire that flooded his body when he felt that sharp sensation.

When Satou agreed to meet Akkuma he smiled weakly, knowing that it was bound to go either very good or very bad. Either way it would be safe to say that tonight would be a memorable night for all of those involved here. Kaza guided his love towards Akkuma's office as he waltzed towards the door with his love. Gliding over the floor & up towards the demons room. He could feel the demons presence rolling out from his love as if coaxing his Lord. Approaching the door they would feel the aura of chaos envelope them as if the air was full of it. It would feel as if the very void for which chaos flowed into this world was just on the other side of that door. Those within would feel the Ancient hunger of his love & the dark power that pulsated from him.

"Enter." the voice of his Lord would cut through the faint noise of the various activities of the patrons below. A sinister whisper with a cold voice that seemed to cut through the noise of everything else.

Pain. Fear. Panic. It was slowly losing ground to control. But at the same time, the hallucinations were getting worse. The rate of the three dropping was nowhere near the rate of the latter skyrocketing. Maki doesn’t even notice as he enters the building. Does not even care what it is. Instead, the warrior in red and black rushes past security as if the hordes of hell were behind him. While he was armed with the two katana at his side, he had neither drawn. Instead he simply shoulder blocked the guards out of his way. People began to disperse, getting away from the man who so violently came into their midst. More guards began to arrive to subdue him, but they were hopelessly outclassed here.

The shinobi doesn’t see security coming for him. Doesn’t see people around him. All he sees are them. Lizards, snakes, insects, all in human skin. As they approach he leaps atop a bank of slot machines and rushes past them from above, clearing a roulette table on his dismount and sliding under a blackjack table. Which he overturns to cause two of the guards to trip. Then he was gone, once more hauling through the crowd which parted before him like the waves hitting the rocks. He was not quiet, however.

”SNAKES! They’re snake people! Someone, someone human, help me!”

"Indeed from the Announcers information about him he was a Samurai from Fire Country. Although he was a subordinate of the Tsuchikage at the time." Akkuma would confirm Shoma as a samurai from the Fire Country, although his confirmation was based on a specific announcement rather than actual knowledge. "There was no rational thinking everyone expected the shinobi to just hand themselves other. Shoma demanding we all do so offering himself. I had no such intentions of handing myself over to authorities that were under the command of our enemy. So I intended to leave with some other shinobi..two shinobi intended to block my exit." the demon would begin sharing with Nagato what had transpired before. He laughed for a bit as he told the Uchiha his exit had been blocked. Given the laughter and the look on the guy's eyes, it was easy to deduce he did not take lightly constraints to his plans.

"I was merciful...it was quick. Naturally upon seeing two fellow Samurai fall Shoma could not allow me to depart so he engaged me in combat. Along with some of the other participants, eager to direct the suspicion of those gathered there upon anyone but themselves. Eventually others were forced to join when it became obvious none of us intended to finish the battle until someone fell. Hissori the Tsuchikage ordered his subordinate & myself to stop but we would not. Thus the Tsuchikage & other various shinobi from the hidden villages joined against me." the Miroku Lord continued. Midway through he would have yet another drink. It would seem, in the end, Akkuma was forced to face a small army practically on his own. The fact he had survived was a testament to the guy's endurance. But survival does not mean victory. "I still know not who healed me after I had fallen in battle." And neither did Nagato. He could only conjecture. "Either a fellow shinobi or a samurai. I've been told you were dropped in Sunagakure by two samurai, so perhaps the latter is the correct choice. To what end, I do not know." the Chuunin would note as he eyed the screens again.

And in good time. It would seem there was another ruckus going down there. A single guy was decimating the casino's security force, making them look like children going against adult men. "You have another problem to take care off." he would warn as he pointed toward a screen showing a guy clad in red and black with two sheathed katanas.

The whole scene felt incredibly wrong to him. Standing there before the dark door, solid and durable. No one but Kaza and himself stood there, embracing and standing on a threshold. The energies that mingle in the air and fought about, he hadn't noticed at first. His own power smashing against the walls and floors. Pushing against the feeling of chaos and disorder, a struggle of eternal wills. It only dawned on him when he felt the brunt of it getting closer to the office room of the owner to this den of sins.

Satou stood solid with Kaza in his arms. Kissing his lovers neck slowly as he held him still and steady, his lips trailed up to his ears. "I have an odd feeling about this meeting." He spoke in whisper. It' wasn't bad, or good. It was a strange mix of wonder and dread. A tinge of fear as he could feel the waves of demonic energy flow from him. He needed to calm down and withdraw the demon's power from the walls and floors and air itself.

Akkuma could feel this strange occurrence. The presence was whole there behind the door to his room. He could feel the being standing there, pressing against the door as if many hands were trying to reach past the cracks around the door. Just breaths worth to get in. As though tiny writhing grotesque fingers were squirming through the cracks. Then nothingness. All the presence was gone in an instant. Hollowed out like a void in the dark.

Satou had drawn in the demons power, it was no small feat on his part. Stopping a demon inside of you from unleashing its power, it took a mental toll on him. He had to brace Kaza, because if he was standing alone. He would have been on the floor, and being drunk no less didn't help. The area around him spun and fazed. He held tight to his lover for but a few moments, Kaza could feel the weight of Satou's body press him for a moment. He felt as heavy as a wall, but he stood again, lazily as a drunk would. "Sorry love, felt a bit wobbly there. Must have been the delicious drink. Got any more in that room-" He was cut off when he heard a commotion from behind him. And yet the chaos stood before him hidden in a single room.

He turned his head round, which felt nauseating to do so quickly. His eyes burning like two suns in his eye sockets. He had to blink away the demonic look for a moment. Focus and glance around. Quite the mess from across the vast casino hall. The blurring lights of the machines fuzzed and ebbed in his drunken gaze. Some of them turned of and tables along the way flipped as if someone lost a horrible gamble.

But then he saw bodies knocked about on the floor, the commotion grew louder. He could feel the blood rising in the room as voices were shouting and people were being pushed about. Then he heard the ravings of madness, the fear and panic in the man's voice. It was like his own many a times when facing the horrors in his mind. He only whispered to his love for a moment, "Go see your master, or stay right here. I'll handle this, don't get involved." He kissed Kaza's lips deeply while holding his face with one hand. Then vanished the next second in blinding speed to the ruckus.

Though he shouldn't have run, it felt light headed high and the blurring motion of his speed made him slightly dizzy. Yet he stuck his landing rather smoothly as he vaulted over machines, table and people like a flying raven in his black old fashioned tattered suit. Using a simple gravity jutsu mixed with a bit of kinetic energy shot him high above heads, including the estranged red clad swordsman.

Flipping over the mans head and landing before him with grace and soft turn of his body, he stood in the way of this human freight train. Friend or foe, Satou stood resilient, even drunk he had well fond control over his body. He let all the chakra flow to his feet and arms. Holding him to the floor like an iron wall, reinforced with solid mountain stone and skin cold as the cliffs of Kumogakure.

He stood before this ill minded being and spoke with open arms to embrace the man in his charge. "Friend! Halt your pace! What fears follow you? Please, let me help you friend." If the man kept charging forward, he would only collide with a solid mass that would cause him to tumble and roll. Because Satou was going to embrace him as if giving a long lost friend a strong warming hug.

Nagato had listened to his words carefully not saying a single word. It was when he spoke in this moment that what he said intrigued the Sage greatly. For the Senju clansman said that he was not sure who had healed the Sage & nor what could have motivated him. The troubling thing was nor could Akkuma, who'd have healed him in that moment? When everyone from spectators to kage had wanted him dead. It was a peculiar feeling not knowing to whom he had to thank for his life. Choosing instead not to waste the opportunity he'd been given to further build towards his dream. But what Akkuma had found most curious about this moment was the Senju had known two Samurai had brought him into the village. For his clan had not known he had returned & they certainly did not know who had brought him back.

Which meant that Nagato had either been on duty that day, known someone who was on duty or been ordered by someone who had the information. He thought back to his encounter with the Head of the Senju clan Kazuki...his eyes widened as he remembered that cold presence from the man. Almost as if death itself stood beside one, it had been the same sensation invoked by Reaper. Initially he had expected it to be Mikaboshi, but Reaper had clarified that was not the case. But he would need to find a way to prove this, get closer to this shinobi Nagato & see what else he would disclose. That aura of the fiend outside battled against his own raging against the maelstrom of chaos & then as if it had vanished the energy was gone.

Before he could take pursuit Nagato told him it appeared he had another disturbance to deal with. With a sigh he turned to face the monitor & with the press of a button on his console sound burst from the screen. ”SNAKES! They’re snake people! Someone, someone human, help me!” if he'd not heard the words himself he would not have believed it. Here he was expecting to hear the man raving about demons possibly having stumbled in drunk & not noticed its occupants until it was too late. But no he was screaming about snake people...he raised a hand to his temple & rubbed it. He chuckled as he noticed his Agents preparing to move in at the outskirts.

Then like a raven flying through the air another figure appeared before the raving lunatic arms wide open "Friend! Halt your pace! What fears follow you? Please, let me help you friend." he cried out to the man. Turning from the screen he looked at Nagato with disbelief "...perhaps you are right." he would say with a sigh walking over to the glass window looking down at the scene unfolding below. "I must contain this..." he would say turning & walking towards the door. Though when he opened it he stopped a look of surprise upon his face, standing there was Kaza.

The Dark Sage had many questions for the Agent, for it had been long since he'd seen the shinobi. Much he wanted to know & answers that needed to be given. But most important he wanted to know why he had been avoiding the demon. However he didn't have time to discuss this so when Kaza began to speak. "Lord Akkuma I..." he raised a hand silencing the youth. "Not now Kaza there are matters that require my attention..." he would say striding past the Agent. With some quick handseals Kaza made a Kikai Bug clone that walked into the office & watched Nagato. Once done he would pursue his Lord, for although AKkuma trusted the shinobi enough to leave him in there. Kaza was much more cautious, in fact if he'd known what AKkuma intended to show the man he would probably try to drug his Lord to ensure it didn't happen.

Reaching the bottom of the stairway he would say but a single word. "Enough." the word would seem to cut through the ruckus of the room & the two shinobi before him. Monstrous in form Akkuma stood over those before him that aura of malice & despair permeating from him. It would seem as if the very conduit for chaos into this realm stood before them. That diamond-like Onmyouji eye & that crimson one with it's serpentine pupil. A sinister shark-like smile was upon his head & that tail flicked behind his back with annoyance. Two demonic horns protrude his head resembling those found on bovine animals. He was truly a spectacle to behold but even he had been taken by surprise. He had expected many things tonight but not this, his gaze would hover over the two shinobi.

The security guards were giving chase, but Maki wasn’t trained as well as he was for nothing. He continues to evade them as they get near, They were the enemy. They were coming. The people around him weren’t his enemy, so he refused to pull a blade or launch an attack for fear of hitting a bystander. But the snake people were coming for him. Golden eyes. Hour glass eyes. An ancient evil that could not be comprehended by a mortal mind. Images flash before Maki’s mind as he pirouettes around a guard and keeps moving. He needed to get away from these people so he could do something about all of this.

“Friend! Halt your pace! What fear follows you?”

Maki heard the voice clear as day. He saw a man standing before him with arms spread out. It was not a threatening gesture. And the words were those of someone offering help. Still, friend? He didn’t know this man. Was he one of the lizard people? Wait, no! He was with the mice. The mice could help him. ”Snake people! They’re coming for me! I don’t want to hurt anyone but I think they’re gonna trap me in in here!”

True enough, another spoke to him. To all. And then a demon stood before them. ”Oh man, thank goodness. The cow people are here! Quickly, we must push out the scaled invaders before they do something!” As Maki spins to do just that, the world before him blurs and spins. White skin, black hair. Alluring beauty of the moon. A knife in the back. Blood dripping to the ground. The laughter of a thing more evil, more beyond such a concept as good and evil. Mocking him. Mocking the soul.

To those sensitive to such sights, something would change. Pulses of light would begin to filter into existence. The souls of others from another realm. Spirits, ghosts, whatever you call them. They would circle the room, and the nexus of their spiral was Maki himself. Most of the patrons would stare only at him, unable to see the other things.
