Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was not unusual to see people collecting social along the plateau grounds where the Temple of Five rested, neither was it unusual for people to wander around or to retain to themselves for company. It was this fact that kept Oyochi from sticking out like a sore thumb as he rested himself within a patchwork of grass that had small weed flowers sticking out. He was alone and seemingly void of the world's influences since neither the sounds of devoted travelers nor the natural tune of nature was able to distract the youth's eyes from the ground he sat upon. He was focused on bigger things to his attention span, a small bug of sorts that was struggling to climb the stalk of one the flowers, a feat that normally would be simple enough to complete had the insect not have been antagonized by the frequently moving breeze. Questions invaded his mental recesses, his mind completely fascinated and confused by what made the small creature continue to try the feat even though it constantly failed.

Reaching his right palm towards the insect, he would cuff it gently within his grasp before opening it near his eyes to gain a greater viewpoint of his confusing entertainment. It was a small beetle that was potentially half the size of his fingernail and naturally it would begin to explore the surface of Oyochi's pasty toned skin, sticking out like a sore thumb against the white backdrop. "Why do you keep trying anyways? You're to small and weak to make the trip against those odds....we should be friends. Soon after the sounds of mixed mumbles caught his attention solely because he made out the word "Weirdo" among the mumbling and this caused him for the first time to glance at the direction of the talking. It had come from a group of kids, potentially no more older than he was but it was their expression that made his eyes narrow in shame. Their eyes looked upon his appearance and set a gaze that he knew all to well as judgmental and cruel. Then again he could not blame them because in a village where being strong was the social structure, Oyochi stood out like a sore thumb. By appearance alone he looked sickly as his skin was virtually void of color and even though he wore kimono styled robes, one could still see his skeletal makeup along his upper chest. All which were a product of his premature birth as for his age he was unnaturally smaller in size than he should have been. Potentially it did not help his case that he was talking to an insect...

Rather than stay by their stares and under-breath words, Oyochi stood up albeit with a slight struggle because of his physical weakness and wandered ever more clear of the social populations and traffic that moved through the area. He still retained the small beetle in his palm which after resting once more in a larger cropping of grasses and flowers did he return the insect to the ground. "Here, this way you're closer....". A smile crossed his lips, something that he rarely did when not within his own household under the watchful eyes of his parents. He watched the insect crawl along the grass and begin the task of picking a new flower stalk to ascend upon. While he watched the small beetle start it's journey anew thoughts roamed his mind about just how long he would continue to fail in life's progression before it simply became to late. These thoughts made the boy's eyes narrow as his waist-length, straightened black hair caught the updraft of a plateau breeze. Portions of hair fell freely against his eyes in long bangs which tended to give him a feminine appearance at times, but also seemed to hide the tinge of sadness which his eyes tended to portray...

"Maybe it'll be soon...."

Character Description:
Physical: Katsu stands at 5 feet 9 inches tall, with long straight black hair and a full beard for facial hair. He wears glasses for his hazel eyes and has straight natural teeth. Facial structure is natural and not abnormal in any way. His body is not level, he is shorter on the left side in every aspect and bares a lot of weight on his shorter side. He is in good shape however, but people wouldn't notice that quality in them because they would see the abnormal amount of scars on his body. He has a scar that runs down his spinal cord from a sword that slashed his back from earlier in his life and a scar on his ear from a childhood fight on a playground. But the most revealing scar is the one that is on his lips, as the scar is from a sword that slashed across the lips. In other words, he has a scar from one side of his upper lip to the opposite side on the bottom lip. Clothing all depends and will be described in the roleplay.

Mental: Overall, Katsu is deemed a "normal" member of society but he does struggle with some disorders: Obsessive–compulsive and bipolar. He isn't exactly the happiest person in the world. He tends to be a pessimistic on various issues and also believes the way to resolve an issue is to fight it out. It doesn't help he also has Xyrophobia(Fear of razors), Taphephobia(Fear of being buried alive or of cemeteries), Phasmophobia(Fear of ghosts), Thanatophobia(Fear of death or dying), Acrophobia(Fear of heights) and Merinthophobia(Fear of being bound or tied up).

NOTE: He looks exactly like the picture and then just add what I described here for appearance :D

Today was a new day in the world of Katsu as he had decided to go for a stroll near the Temple of Five and try to clear his mind from the brutality that he had received from that group of muggers earlier this month. That event had kept reoccurring in his dreams and haunting him with every waking second of the day. Those people needed to go down and be exiled or murdered for their crime against a medical ninja of this village minding his own business and just trying to get from point A to point B during one night. Exactly why did they attack him of all people in the village and why attack at all? Stone was a peaceful village, with incoming shinobi from other villages, but still there need be no hate crimes. Nothing made sense....

But these matters would have to wait as a group of kids were making loud noises and making fun of a boy who was sitting alone away from everyone. The boy looked sick beyond belief with no pigment in his skin and looked essentially like a corpse as pale as he was. But, Katsu saw the kid's troubles and he wasn't going to allow this kid to live miserably like this. He wouldn't want to live that way so it was best to be friends with the kid and the group would have no excuse to pick on him because he would have an alliance with a medical ninja who could kick all their asses easily while healing. Katsu watched as the boy trailed off from even further from humanity and he waited a few moments before following the kid.

Being the way Katsu was built, it didn't take long before he had found the boy with the bug in his hand and talking to it. He watched the whole scene play out in front of him and a smile crept onto his face. It was a beautiful site to see nature and someone who still gave a damn about it still. He walked slowly up to the boy so the boy could see him approaching him from the front as he said: "That was a beautiful sight you just had right there with that bug. It is nice to see there are people in this world who still appreciate nature and make time to thoroughly enjoy it. I saw the whole scene with those kids back there, and forget about them. They are immature little brats and you shouldn't let them get to you, Kid."

Looking at the boy, he smiled at him and waved a hand as he began to walk off. The kid was extraordinary that was for sure but he had promise if he would dedicate himself. It was a shame he didn't talk to Katsu at all because the Medical Jounin wanted to make him feel better but he did all he could do. Now it was up to the world and the kid to shape his path and life. Katsu would go down another path and see where that would end up. Who knew in this great village known as Stone.
