The young girl was in the background, watching from afar as the arrows cruised over the wall. This wasn't to be her domain. She would watch from the safety of the forest, healing a chuunin that was part of the original onslaught. They had taken down a group of Samurai that were patrolling the forests outside, it had gone well for the most part, at least for the shinobi. Very few were injured, a success of deciding to go in the middle of the night. She placed her hands over his shoulder, the wound slowly closing, the bleeding stopped quick enough. He would be back on the front lines in a jiffy, to continue the onslaught of retaking Leaf from the what was said to be criminals, the detestable that had usurped the village in the first place.
That was how the story was told to her at least. This was a force to free the people of the Leaf country. Having been taken under the guise of a genjutsu to follow under a fake king that ruled cruel. It was almost like something out of a Heroic Tragedy. It was unfortunate that she was playing such a minor role though in all of this. She wasn't the hero of this story, not even remotely. She was more like, Medical Person #26...
Sara looked at the man and stood up, helping him to his feet. "That should allow use of your arm decently enough. " The man stretched and rubbed the spot, "It barely even hurts anymore. Damn, thanks!" He looked out onto the opened gate and hesitated to move forward. It could be seen in his eyes, a small amount of fear looming. He had already been stabbed once, and to most she could understand that to be enough to give a second thought.
She passed him by, standing barely waist high. "I could use some help moving forward. Mind keeping an eye on me as protection." The chuunin phased out of his depression and looked down at her from behind. "Actually...I.." A voice rang out, "All chuunin and above that are able, move forward to the gate. Surprise is going to be our ally tonight, and any pause could change that flow!" The man breathed in deeply and ran off become a dot among the horde. She never did get his name, was he playing a similar role as her, Shinobi # 78?
She watched on from the line of trees, her orders yet to come. Would she play any more of a role then this?
