Where was he? Where was Akkuma?
It was only that single question that ran through Seika's mind as she paced in her family's stronghold. She was impatient, even more so since the return of her beloved to her arms, and yet... yet he wasn't by her side, and it may be a while before she could join him out in her village without an armed escort. Damn these Cabal members, damn them all to the pits of darkness and despair from whence it seemed like they came. She was frustrated with everything from her circumstances to being unable to do anything to being caged up by her family for a reason they were unwilling to tell her.
'Akkuma, where are you? Why haven't you returned yet?' Her thoughts cried out, waking the angel that resided within her.
'Will you quit your complaining. He knows he isn't allowed to die until I kill him and claim his damned soul for my own.' The grouchy angel said with her version of a mental yawn. 'Do you have so little faith in his survivability?' Ever since Seika had woken Yuuki, they angel had become obsessed with Akkuma, to the point of pure distraction. There was something, Seika could tell, that drove the warrior angel on her crusade, yet she had a feeling that the angel, herself, didn't even know, or understand, what drove her onwards.
'I won't let you kill him.'Seika snapped at her inner being. She was glad that Yuuki was there, however she was also frustrated that the self-absorbed angel couldn't relax her view on Akkuma and that she was still so intent on killing him, no matter what Seika said. “Come home soon, my darling.” Seika said quietly as she went to the dining room where lunch had been prepared for the Toraono clan. For once she was the first to attend the dining hall, yet although she was there in body, her mind was elsewhere.
