Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Where was he? Where was Akkuma?

It was only that single question that ran through Seika's mind as she paced in her family's stronghold. She was impatient, even more so since the return of her beloved to her arms, and yet... yet he wasn't by her side, and it may be a while before she could join him out in her village without an armed escort. Damn these Cabal members, damn them all to the pits of darkness and despair from whence it seemed like they came. She was frustrated with everything from her circumstances to being unable to do anything to being caged up by her family for a reason they were unwilling to tell her.

'Akkuma, where are you? Why haven't you returned yet?' Her thoughts cried out, waking the angel that resided within her.

'Will you quit your complaining. He knows he isn't allowed to die until I kill him and claim his damned soul for my own.' The grouchy angel said with her version of a mental yawn. 'Do you have so little faith in his survivability?' Ever since Seika had woken Yuuki, they angel had become obsessed with Akkuma, to the point of pure distraction. There was something, Seika could tell, that drove the warrior angel on her crusade, yet she had a feeling that the angel, herself, didn't even know, or understand, what drove her onwards.

'I won't let you kill him.'Seika snapped at her inner being. She was glad that Yuuki was there, however she was also frustrated that the self-absorbed angel couldn't relax her view on Akkuma and that she was still so intent on killing him, no matter what Seika said. “Come home soon, my darling.” Seika said quietly as she went to the dining room where lunch had been prepared for the Toraono clan. For once she was the first to attend the dining hall, yet although she was there in body, her mind was elsewhere.

Sanryoukyougan Kuro now more light than darkness approached his elder sister with the hope that her inner light was under greater restraint when she had taken on the tenchi she had become more than an elder sister she had become bane to the demon blooded of her family as she could now literally strip them of their power and deny their strength without consequence. For a few months Kuro could not determine when the tenchi was attempting control because Seika was already incredibly strong due to her birthright. Now with the Cabal all but ousted and behind them some parts of the dojo could return to normal, and Seika was released from her hibernation seal. Although Kuro had not understood whom had caused her to break the seal until he sensed a high demon, very rare and very dangerous. It was Miroku Akkuma that had awakened both Seika and her inner being but luckily she seemed to be in better control since her slumber. Wary of her even at the best of times Kuro's body with the most celestial presence approached despite having a demon core it functioned beyond Kuro's hopes further reaffirming his theory that darkness and light were actually capable of combination without diminishing their powers in the least. With Sakibou no Hyakujuuonouu sheathed upon his back his holy powers were still very much capable despite the loss of cosmic energies. "I have missed you sister, I apologize for the forced hibernation but mother feared your powers would kill me and those bearing my seals. I was informed that a proper consort had been found and that you actually liked him. I am happy for you and look forward to your future courting rituals." Kuro had arrived dress in all off white robes and gi with his feet and hands properly battle wrapped. His swordsman form had his hair braided to keep his sight clear. This form of Kuro although new to Seika was still Kuro and easily recognizeable by her conscious and inner spirit.

Seika would feel that familiar sensation of malice and despair sweep over the building as Akkuma stormed towards her. Each stepped made a resounding clap and as he rounded the corner his beloved would notice the great big dirty slash that cut down his face, severely damaging one of his eyes to the point that sight out of it was no longer an option. The demon was covered in the stained blood of his foes old wounds still healing, although the eye to intricate a wound having been left too late it would not heal now. That did not matter to Akkuma though he had kept true to his word and kept their kin safe in the process. Kneeling before his beloved he retrieved the symbiotic celestial shield he had acquired from the Cabbal, holding it before him for her. "A gift for you my love...a token claimed from your enemies. I have placed them in holding to face your judgement. I ensured they each suffered...it appears I also battled with some of our kin. Don't worry I kept them safe, though it did have a cost." he would say with a small smile his one good eye burned with pride. "I'm sorry to come before you in such a sorry state but I believed that I should inform you of the change in events so that you could let the family know." he would say with a small chuckle and a wink to her. "Sunagakure is once more in the hands of the Toraono." blood still slowly trickled down his face, stained with blood and bruised the demon certainly hadn't had it easy. Before sighing and deciding that he needed to finish his report "One of them...had intentions of heading straight here, with the equipment they possessed and the tactics used I have reason to believe they were being sent as a squad to the Toraono. They were engineered to specifically take on demons...it was not easy ensuring our kin were unharmed in this battle. But they certainly kept their wits about them, you should be proud of our family." he would say with another sigh standing before his beloved raising a hand to caress the side of her face.

"For you I tore them limb from limb, devoured souls and left the fallen hanging from ropes on the street lights so that any who would dare threaten my kin have a reminder of what happens. That shield possesses a unique gift of deterring and severing links with the undead. I gift it to you as a symbol of my devotion, should there come a time when we oppose each other. It will ensure your success." he would leave it at that as he stood before her running his thumb across the line of her lips, she had been glorious fuel for his battle ecstasy. Akkuma had never felt such joy in battle that could compare to the feelings evoked when he was delivering her wrath upon their foes. "Do not concern yourself too much over my wounds..after all I am not dead." he would say with a small devilish chuckle and a wince, what he would do for a drink right now. Instead he'd make do with the company of his love he'd hoped that she wasn't to upset with his current state afterall he had been quite foolhardy in his enthusiasm. Granted he had no doubts whatsoever that any future attacks would atleast hesitate and think on the atrocities he had perpetrated against their foes.

At her brother's words, Seika's eyes moved to his form. It didn't look like her brother, even though he referred to her as his sister, yet... she could feel her brother's demonic presence, something that she couldn't mistake and knew from the very moment that he had been born. “I'm not a child to be feared.”She said simply as she stared at the laden table. “I'm not someone that needs enforced protection, brother, not now, not ever.”</GLOW><i></i> She rested her head on her hand. <GLOW glow="purple">“However, in all my anger, I never once considered what I could accidentally do to those around me. Was there no other...” Her words stuck in her throat as she felt the familiar presence of her beloved approaching, and even Kuro would be able to see the change in her posture as she watched the door expectantly. “You don't have long to wait to meet him, brother mine.” She said as she got to her feet.

She didn't expect to see him so injured, and she gave a small wail as she saw the wounds that he carried, including the one that had ruined his eye. Even from this distance she could tell that it was far beyond saving, and that necrosis had already begun to set in. She could feel the righteous fury of Yuuki building inside her, and she was surrounded in mere moments by the righteous fury of the angel within her. Her aura was bubbling and spitting, just like the angel within her. “I. Will. Kill. Them.” Seika said, her fingernails digging into the palms of her hands. Each word that she said punctuated by the dripping of her blood on the floor. “They will not get away with this.” Her eyes moved to her brother giving him a look that told her not to interfere in her plans. “Thank you for protecting my kin though Akkuma, I just wish that I could return your eye as it once was.”She stroked his cheek gently. “As a medic... fixing this damage is beyond my capability to do. I could do a transplant, but that's reliant on a donor.”She held her love's hand against her cheek for a moment before she pressed her lips against his wrist. She could feel the darkness running below his skin, and it drew her ever closer, even the fresh blood that he bled held a trickle of his energy. The token of his love that he gave her, was gently laid aside. She would deal with the shield later, but now her concern was her beloved.

“Brother, is there any way that you can help?” She asked, knowing that it was the first time that he would have ever seen her looking concerned about anyone. “Please... do you know anyone that could help? Anyone at all?” She trembled, aching to do something to help her beloved.“Please Kuro, you have to help me!”

Kuro looked towards Akkuma as he entered without noticing him due to his presence being diminished by Seika's consuming force and the vessel he wielded that although looked exactly like Kuro was not his original body and Seika could see that in an instant much like many of his immediate family could although the general population would never know the difference without studying him closely. Kuro looked at Akkuma and noted the wound had indeed been made by a living holy weapon which was why he had not been able to heal it as easily as he would a normal cut. Kuro was skilled in medicine but he was far more skilled in sorcery and as such knew immediately what needed to be done. "Actually sister we can handle his transplant quite easily as your diagnosis is correct, even if we were to regenerate the eye itself. From the energies I can detect in his wound which are overpowering his natural regeneration the weapon he was struck with was a holy weapon. This means it was made to stop demonic regeneration like he and I have, they are armed with weapons to kill demons which means in the end they were after you sister. As you are the natural antithesis to demons, as you are pure cosmic light, however the light also allows you to heal all. I have also learned this lesson in a rather painful manner. What we need is in the medical wards below, an old Onmyouji had donated his eyes to the clan in exchange for our oath of protection over his two daughters and son, shortly before he died from wounds suffered during the Cabal attack. I believe he would be honored to have one of his sacred eyes transplanted to a man whom hated the Cabal as much as he did. The ancient ways will serve your consort and I will ensure he is able to continue the fight with a true eye for vengeance if you will allow us Lord Miroku?"<i></i>

Akkuma watched and listened intently as they spoke waiting until they had finished even after he'd learned Kuro stood before them. The half-demon stood to his height when it had all been done and said the one working sanguine eye he still possessed slowly slid to Kuro, the unmistakable hint of rage was there. How could he not be angry a little angry with them they had kept his beloved caged within these walls like something to be feared, or atleast that was how he saw it. Although he knew they argued it was for her own protection, but he knew better than that after all those he had faced seemed to be a special task force put together for the sole purpose of combating the demons who would guard her. Raising a hand to her face a finger traced the line of her lips as he looked into her eyes "They are our kin...do not concern yourself over the likes of them my love." he would say to her with a small grin. "I will gladly give up this body and much more of my blood for you my love..." his words were calm and joy-filled how he loved to see her wrath to see the way she desired to make those who had harmed him suffer. If her brother weren't there he might be tempted to ravage her, if they were already wed it wouldn't have stopped him. Turning to face her brother once more he stood before his new kin "Toraono Kuro I challenge as was requested by Princess Lady Toraono Seika, my betrothed and beloved. Dark chakra began to swirl around him his the runic seals upon his body shifting preparing to release the enzymes that would remove the restrictions placed upon his physical body. Akkuma's own dark chakra almost engulfing the room colliding with Seika own aura, as the two collided they seemed to feed off each others power and he stood firm the ground shaking beneath him.

"You will not deny me this right to challenge, personally it shall be gratifying to show one of my kin the displeasure I feel at my beloveds treatments. No matter how good their intentions, after all the path to hell is paved with good intentions." he would say in a tone that was coated in his desire for battle. Even with his wounds and his chakra consumption Akkuma still intended to battle his kin "Never again will I allow her to be caged away, trapped while there are those who wish to harm and use her...she is not some treasure to be locked away! She deserves to live!" he would roar as the tiles beneath his feet cracked. "Tell me how you wish to go about this seeing as I'm the challenger you get to decide the terms of the fight so how shall we go about this? Hand to hand? Weapons? Genjutsu? Ninjutsu? Summons? Tell me how do you wish to face me brother?! We can discuss the matter of my transplant after I've beaten some decent family morales into you." with those words he would begin walking to the demon his hands quickly forming a handseal that summoned a crystal eye, a quick countermeasure to make up for his current defective one.

What a stubborn fool even in his current state there wasn't a single hesitation to battle from the youth, particularly because he believed the honor of his beloved had been tarnished. Did they doubt her so much or fear her so that they would do what they had done. Besides if you couldn't have a good hearted brawl between brothers particularly demon brothers than what was the world coming to. Should Seika move to stop him he would say "I love you but do not interfere in this matter, I command it as your King." in a tone that rung of defiance and sternness that yielded only one thing, he would not relent on this current path. She was his Queen and he was her King this would be one of the few annoying moments were he would not listen to reason even from her, he would be prepared to deal with her wrath afterwards. Every muscle rippled as he cracked his neck, shoulders, wrists and his knuckles. Loosening up for the battle to come "Surely brother you believe you can take me in my current state? Come on just a brief little tussle...'no harm shall come of it'." he would say the last few words held a tone of mischief known only to demons. The fire that burned in his eyes showed his passion and also his youthfulness he was a fool, yet he didn't fight it fools were favoured by the fates after all.

Seika took a sharp breath as both her and Yuuki suspected Kuro would immediately respond to any challenge with anyone except her with an immediate escort to the arena. Imperial light began to spill forth from Seika’s body nullifying the strongest of demonic powers. Kuro would find himself lucky he had come to check on Seika in an alternate form other than his original body otherwise he would have been on his knees gasping for the strength to move and fighting off nausea. Since he and Seika were half siblings she had access to half of his strength matrix through maternal DNA. Seika knew all too well her baby brother in his natural state could not withstand her power in the slightest, Yuuki also augmented that power to an extreme point beyond what any normal shinobi could accomplish alone.

The force of her wave of light caused both Kuro and Akkuma to be flung back as she grabbed at Akkuma with chakra alone as wings of power extended from her back, her force of will doubled with the thanks of Yuuki's own feeding hers. “There will be no fighting for my hand until you are one hundred percent, only the strongest may claim me and your injury both saddens and offends me despite the reasons behind it. You will accept the transplant! Then and ONLY THEN will you be allowed to continue our courtship! THIS IS WHAT I COMMAND, AND YOU SHALL OBEY!” Her eyes then moved to Kuro, her eyes still gleaming with power, her body wreathed in the brilliance that she exuded, archangel wings manifesting at her back, Kuro would know all too well how Seika could be when she was in full control and taking command of all within her purview. “You will prepare for the surgical procedure! That is not a request, understand?!” Her eyes moved between Akkuma and Kuro, daring either of them to argue with her.

Kuro was flung back but his capacity was not weakened due to the body he currently wielded. He hurriedly acknowledged Seika's command as he struck a warp seal near the table and concentrated on the medical implements from the tables he had set up a few days ago and warped all the materials for the transplant into Seika's receiving chamber. Nodding quickly that he would do as she commanded lest she be angered further and destroy portions of the dojo that could not be easily repaired. Kuro was not only able to sustain himself but use the excess divine light Seika produced to channel then further enhance the neutral spiritual light he now commanded as well. Drawing on the now ambient roar of spiritual energy Sanryoukyougan Kuro's massive blade 'Sakibou no Hyakujuuonouu' was pulled forward with a one handed draw to place the flat of the blade upon Akkuma's head as he channeled all the neutral light amounting to 70% of what Seika produced naturally through the blade to pull the alternate divine chakra preventing Akkuma's natural demonic regeneration into the blade and disperse it. With the chakra that prevented Akkuma's recovery removed Kuro proceeded to complete the procedure despite Akkuma's desire to fight. Kuro telekinetically pulled one of the onmyouji eyes from a jar of protective sustaining suspension fluid which literally kept the organ alive and ready. With a swift pulse of healing light he invigorated the nerves and blood vessels of the damaged eye before carefully severing the damaged eye with a flicker of kinesis. He reached out to Seika with a familiar kinetic pressure that she would know meant he needed her assistance. They were both trained by the same medic Sunaku Sashi and Daibatsu Toa in the foundations of medicine and organ placement. Kuro used his healing aura to make the intricate nerve attachments and blood vessels, he called out to Seika to promote rapid healing and use her own healing light to maintain his mental connection to his original nerve endings and muscle control so as to force the eye to set properly in an unfamiliar setting and activate in response to Akkuma's natural chakra. "Sister, please use your light to force him to heal and accept the transplant while I connect the nerves and blood vessels. His cursed seal should aid him greatly now that the foreign spiritual chakra has been removed."

What had originally started out as a walk, turned into a full on shinobi-style sprint. Nataku was headed toward the Toraono Dojo in search of the one person who might actually be able to help him. He was beginning to get a sense for the level of destruction this terrorist group had managed to put on the village. It filled him with a sense of regret. Why was he not there? What happened to him that he fully missed all of these events take place? One theory had seemed the most practical: He was defeated by one of these Cabal terrorists, injured to the point where he suffered memory loss. They must have thought him dead too, which would explain why he woke up in a pile of rubble beneath the Kazekage tower. Perhaps it was fate that he not die. Perhaps he was entirely wrong about it. He didn't remember, so there was no way to confirm anything.

So why then was this 24 year old making his way to see Kuro? The reasoning was simple. A long time ago, Kuro had helped Nataku understand what it meant to have the Rinnegan. More so, he saw the eyes in Kuro as well. This meant he was not the only one. He wasn't alone. There was more, though. Kuro helped Nataku find purpose in a point in his life where he needed it most. He had just failed to protect most of the people he cared about, and was struggling mentally. Kuro was the only reason he didn't go down a darker path.

Today, Nataku needed that guidance. There was something he was missing here, which he accepted as a fact of the memory loss. None of that mattered. His demon blood boiled as he had one target in mind. He arrived at the dojo rather quickly and began to explore. He didn't search that long, as soon a wave of demonic energy made its way toward Nataku. That has to be Kuro, he thought. It felt, to him, like a battle was about to occur. As he moved, a second pulse of energy came over him. This time, it wasn't demonic. No, it was much the opposite. Nataku could feel his demonic blood pulling away, losing it's strength. This did not matter as he pressed forward.

When he finally entered the room, the scene was not as expected. There were three people in the room, none of which Nataku recognized. Two of them seemed to be in battle mode, the woman in dominance over the demonic man. This explained the energy Nataku felt. What wasn't explained by this alone could be observed more carefully. The third man was standing, attempting to perform.. a transplant! Chakra wings were being used to hold the man who was receiving the transplant. All in all, the situation seemed strange. He would expect that in place of an implant that perhaps torture was going on, or that there would be a table for which to perform the surgery on. But alas, that was not this situation.

Considering this a failure, as he had not found Kuro, he pushed forward into the room and offered to help. This, of course, meaning he didn't use his words at all. Instead his medic instincts kicked in. He ran over to the man who was receiving the surgery and placed his hands on either side of his head to stabilize and support the surgery. A soft green glow began as chakra energy flowed to help heal the wounds. This was not the first time Nataku had been involved with surgery, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. It was after the fact that he realized he had just barged into this strange situation without a word. So he said, "Apologies for interrupting, my name is Nataku. I was looking for Kuro when I noticed you guys looked like you could use a hand."

Nataku pretended to be oblivious to everything else that was happening in the room. In reality, he was well aware of how unusual the situation in the room was. He knew it was strange to have someone restrained by chakra wings, and he knew it was strange to be performing surgery in a room like this. He could feel the tension in the air, and the large blasts of dark and light energy only furthered his suspicions. That said, he wasn't concerned. He was filling a role, and that was good enough.

"Nataku, I am a part of Kuro, I don't know where you have been or why it took so long to come visit but it is good to see you. Since you are here and you're both a traditional and mystically trained doctor you can help me attach the nerve endings and blood vessels of Akkuma's ganglions to original nerve and blood vessels of this eye transplant while my sister Seika maintains his muscle control and mental connections so that it works in concert with his natural demonic regeneration. I will maintain the eye and insure it functions with his chakra capacity. The main reason we are in this situation is that my future brother in law here is determined to face me for the right to marry my sister and since she is royalty by clan law he must prove himself to me in ritual setting but my sister demands his medical needs be taken care of prior to any challenge so simply take up your standard operating position. A full set of medical trays is on the table and we are three minutes into attaching a special Onmyouji eye. No demon can break my sister's grasp even a highborne like him so you connect and fuse the fibers you can reach while I work on the central stalk. Let me know if you need anything specific tools." Kuro proceeded to continue attaching blood vessels and nerve endings in an intricate almost musical gesture as he used life transmittal and telekinesis to perform spiritual/physical surgery.

As to be expected Seika and Yuuki both seemed to object to his plans lashing out with their strength siphoning his own energies weakening him. Two massive celestial chakra wings held him firmly in place, before he could even object Kuro began preparing for the transplant. Rage filled every fibre of his body as he was denied his challenge, irrevocable would be the right word to describe the depths of his rage. The one sanguine eye that still worked looked up at Kuro as he prepared the massive blade he was about to begin working with. "I will make you suffer for this brother.." he said the tone deadly and cold as he prepared himself for the pain that he knew was about to be inflicted upon him by his kin. Immeasurable pain was what he felt as the energies of light forced themselves into his system forcing it to heal, while hi demonic energies attempted to while boosted by the effects of his Solar Seal. A deep guttural growl continued to emit from the half-demon as he forced into the procedure by his new kin when a newcomer arrived into the situation, immediately announcing himself and assisting them with the procedure. Those shark-like teeth were revealed in his snarl of pain as he felt the hands grasp either side of his head yet again forcing more foreign chakra into his body, in an attempt to ensure a success of their work.

Held there immobile he could only roar in rage and pain as he was operated on against his own will, he would not forget this act. No matter the intentions behind them he was not impressed his energies lashing out, were pushed back each time by his beloved. Akkuma would not forget this betrayal of his will he would remember this moment and when the time came he would remind them of their mistakes. Kuro seemed at place in the bizarre operation working away with an ease that seemed most odd for the situation as he worked away with coordinated grace and directed this Nataku shinobi. That sanguine eye looked up at Nataku as he tilted his head back "You have no part in this...who are you to intervene?!" he would snap, the demons hands were clenched hard into fists. The claw-like hands loosing blood as they dug into his flesh, if he weren't incapable of moving in his current rage he'd have tried to kill them all. His instincts as a Chaos demon lashed out at him in this maelstrom of chakra and pain they demanded he destroy all and silence the madness not only around him but within his own soul. In these moments he couldn't {or wouldn't} differentiate between friend or foe. Muscle sinew began to tear, repair and grow as his flesh began to take on a more demonic nature attempting to fight those around him. Finally as he realized that in this moment there was nothing he could do a cold and almost emotionless aura would set itself around him. That sanguine eye would move from each involved before resting on the ceiling above him as a maniacal laugh slowly built up into a bellow "Do what you will, but there will be consequences for denying my will." his words were cold and serious. Within moments he had gone from uncontrollable rage to focused and collected all within the middle of the procedure. It had taken most of his anbu training to centre himself, but he'd done it now he would remember every moment of this with clarity.

Seika sighed, she had known that his rage would be immense but it was to have him healed and have him as her consort, or let him leave from her life and have them both be heartbroken. She could see every time he looked at her that he wanted her, and those thoughts were mirrored in her eyes, but tradition was tradition, and this was one that she was unable, and unwilling, to change. Tears fell from Seika's eyes as she felt Akkuma strain against her bindings, even though he had little to no chance of escaping from them. She wanted him to be free and to fight as he wanted to, however even if he should win, he wouldn't be accepted. Yet surely even he knew that he would stand no chance with such a glaring blind spot? Kuro wouldn't take such lowly actions in any fight, which meant that the battle wouldn't be one of equal footing. Surely Akkuma would see that, eventually at least.

She made sure that her chakra remained steady and trying to aid in the healing of the injuries and the operation. She would gently use the chakra to try an ease his sense of wellbeing, to encourage him to relax a little to allow the healing to occur at a faster rate than what would be seen as normal. “You wanted to fight my brother, you will be able to later today. You just need to let us make sure that you're fully ready.” Her fingers touched his hand, soothing light chakra beginning to mingle with his own demonic chakra. It was a dance, she decided, a dance of love and hate, and she was a fool not to give it her all, especially when it was her own love that was needing her help. “Believe in us Akkuma, and you shall be a king but you need to play by other rules in this game.” She grinned. “I, however, know that you will succeed, but you need to be in your best health to do so. If you failed against my brother, even if injured, you would still have to be discounted from becoming my consort, no matter my feelings.”She hoped that she got through to his fractured mind at that moment. She pushed Nataku's hands away from Akkuma gently, but firmly, and she placed her hands on his cheeks before gently kissing the demonic High Lord. Her angelic power flowing into his being once the eye had been placed.

Suddenly she was no longer in this room, no longer in the Dojo. Instead she was in a field, it was beautiful, apart from the growing ugly pool of black-ish coloured blood below her and another, a demon, the greatest and most magnificent demon that she had ever seen. That she had loved without equal. The name... his name... it eluded her. She just knew in the fibre of her soul that he was the one. He had to be protected.

“He will die.”A demon said. “Our lord will die, and it's all you and your kin's fault!” Seika looked at the demon who spoke. “Why don't you end what you began? Kill us all, you already killed our general.”

Seika looked down at the demon below her, yet she knew that he hadn't been struck by her blade, and that she had to save him. “If I save him... they will hunt me, they will hound me.”She said, more to confirm to herself that what she was about to do was madness. “I will be disgraced and dishonoured just because of who I love and choose to protect.” Her eyes snapped to the demon again. “Protect me and I'll be able to save his life, the option is yours to make, demon.”When she looked at the demon below her, he was still trying to get up, even though he had been mortally injured.

She pushed him back to the ground as she allowed her healing powers to try healing the wounds he had sustained, ignoring the loud shouts around her. To the demons around her she was lower than scum, as they should be to her, yet this general of theirs... he meant something special to her. She loved him, wanted him to be hers. Yet instead of being celebrated, instead of being accepted, the love between an angel and a demon was reviled and those persons involved were despised. Good and evil should never fall in love, yet those that fell in love could be good or evil, angels didn't have to be 'good' nor did demons have to be 'evil', yet few believed that.

“I will save you.”She said to the Demon Lord before her as she leaned down, her wings surrounding them both, her lips touching his, as she flooded his body with healing light. He would live, and she would keep her promise.

Seika stumbled back, clutching her head, her control over her own power wavering for a moment before disappearing outright. She backed into a corner, staring at her beloved's form on the table. What was that just now? She touched her lips, not knowing if it was her, or her inner angel's actions. She was scared, she hadn't experienced anything like that before. Just who or what was she? She just knew that Akkuma could help her discover just what she was, that keeping him close to her may awaken something more within her.

OOC: So from what I understand you just time jumped to the end of the surgery? Works for me :D

----

At first, he couldn't grasp the situation he walked into. Much to his surprise, it was all laid out in front of him quite plainly. The one of the three who was performing the surgery suddenly began speaking. The first surprise was learning that he was one of Kuro's paths. So he had found Kuro! Score one. Then Nataku was immediately given instructions on how to proceed with the surgery. This was all well and good, but he kept speaking. He explained that this was Toraono Seika, his sister. And this demon, whose name was Akkuma, was trying to challenge him for the right to marry Seika. There was a demand for him to be in proper health.

Suddenly Nataku grasped the bigger picture. Akkuma intended to kill Kuro to prove his worth. He was a demon, he had a challenge, he knew what had to be done. What he didn't understand was why Seika, who seemed the polar opposite of Akkuma, wanted to marry. I'm thinking this one too deeply, he thought. It had to be a fair challenge, and fair meant that he needed this transplant. There was one external change in Nataku after he understood this. His eyes focused and he began to perform in a non-ethical way. That is, this was a non-traditional surgery, and he understood that. Not only that, they were attaching an Onmyouji eye. All against Akkuma's will.

He attached as many nerve endings as he could while being berated by Akkuma. Nataku was getting nice and dirty with his hands, knowing that he was operating on a demon and with such powerful shinobi around, there really wasn't much of a risk. Plus, since this wasn't an official hospital surgery, there was no paperwork. He was yelled at for intervening, and threatened with consequence. Eventually, Akkuma settled down and an eerie chill filled the room as Nataku and Kuro finished the surgery. Seika then moved Nataku's hands away from Akkuma, and placed her own upon his face. Nataku realized where this was going and turned away, letting the flow of chakra to his hands seize to be. A wave of angelic power could be felt behind him. Then, suddenly, it stopped. Nataku felt his demon blood boil with excitement again.

He turned back to see Seika clutching her head. He then glanced at Kuro's path to see if he would say or do anything. Then, his eyes fell on Akkuma. It felt like the ball was in his court now. Nataku wanted to grab Kuro and pull him aside for a private conversation, but he knew it was not his place to do so. The situation he entered was not his to control. Not yet, anyways.

Silent. Nataku stayed silent.

Something about the whole situation before with Tangyu ate at Surutameni, and as such he wandered back to the scene after having returned to Kuro with Naoki and given him the necessary report. Within the time he had spent with his new-found family he had received a new set of clothing; a loose fitting robe and a set of armor that marked him as a Toraono and as a swordsman, as well as receiving a much needed hair cut, the longer parts cascading around him as it was sliced from him. He tugged at the collar of his robes as he scanned the street, there was blood everywhere, but after a moment the youth noticed a trail leading off. 'That blood must be Akkuma's...' Suru quickly scanned the area, making sure there was no one watching him as he shifted the placement of his weapons slightly against his side. He remembered that the demon had taken quite the beating in order to block him from the brunt of the weaponized monstrosity and as such, that blood trail should be easy enough for him to follow.

It took the young shinobi some time, but eventually he arrived at the end of the blood trail, only to see a rather interesting scene laid out before him. There were two men bent over the demon, Akkuma, and then a woman that was curled up in the corner, a rather peculiar look plastered upon her face. 'What happened here...?' Suru's thoughts raced as he looked over the scene. The one man he didn't recognize seemed tense, but that was the only thing he could gather from him. He stepped further into the room, his footfalls echoing softly as he approached the group. "Uh... Hello?" He tugged at his collar again as he spoke. 'This is weird.' He was unsure of what was going on and how anyone would react upon seeing him now, as not to long ago he looked like every other ten year old, and as of this moment he looked as though he were years older.

He would wait until he was acknowledged. Although if that took too long he would close the gap and step up next to Akkuma and announce himself to the room.

Those who stood around him would notice that sinews or nerve endings they missed or couldn't reach would move themselves into position reconnecting, with each blood vessel that connected something terrible would become apparent. The eye that was being transplanted began to change as the demonic blood flowed into it the energies warping and twisting it down on a cellullar level. Normally one of these magnificient orbs would look like shining diamonds reflecting it in a rainbow. The flesh of the eye began to turn black the only thing keeping that rainbow-like diamond sheen to it. Now the eye looked more like a far off galaxy had been trapped within the darkness of his eye. The last sinew of flesh connected as he felt the demons hands be pushed from him, by her. The woman he loved and the angel he loved both in the same vessel, forcing their chakra into his system as she moved down to kiss him. Their two enrgies combined and unlocked memories from another lifetime. They came flooding through his mind and a wide maniacal grin spread across his face in the moment he knew all of his gut intincts had been right. One thing was soldified in this moment that they were meant to be together even the Fates seemed incapable of denying them. Seika and Yuuki seemed to be completely shaken from the vision almost hugging the wall in her surprise and fear he could feel their power was gone. In that one instant he moved with blinding speed and precision flying forwards slamming his hand into her{their} stomach, using his Evil Sealing Jutsu on her binding Seika & Yuuki's power if even just for this brief moment as he began to laugh a cold and deadly sound turning around to see a stunned Suru had joined those in the room.

As the seal and his own chakra fought to bind his two loves chakra the demon turned his head to the side looking at the group. "Well that was an interesting developement.." he would say his words soft and mischevious as he looked back to Seika who at this time was busy fighting one of the strongest sealing seals developed by one of the strongest sages. Bending over so he could whisper into her ears the words would still be audible to those behind him. "I will never change who I am...I will take anything you say under heavy advisement but should you openly disobey me and shame me like that again." this time he moved that little bit closer his tone dropping so that only she would be able to hear these last words. "I will make sure that the last thing either of you see is my death, so that it haunts you until the end of time." as he finished speaking he would softly kiss her upon the cheek before turning once more to face Kuro his eyes briefly darting to Suru and Nataku.

Pure demonic chakra began to cloak the youth as dark kanji spiralled in an outward circular motion from him until the ancient seals and ones of his own design glowed dangerously around him casting an eerie light upon him and those in the room. Withdrawing a dagger from his pocket he sliced his palm letting blood drip onto the seals, to those who had an knowledge on seals one thing would be apparent. This was a mixture between a contract seal and organic matter deconstructing kanji, in other words these kanji and runic glyphs were designed to bind one to their word. Death being the consequence of breaking the terms layed out within the seal.

"I Miroku Akkuma hereby swear before the Old Ones who govern our Fate to face Toraono Kuro in a Trial by Combat at this moment. Upon victory I will take Lady Toraono Seika to be my beloved wife. If I fail my soul shall be cast into oblivion lost from the afterlife and the cycle of this world." as he finished speaking the seals flashed almost insttantly retracting up his body and emblazening the seal upon his flesh. "Toraono Kuro you now have no choice but to face me in combat right here and now should you fail to accept my challenge. I will die. Should I fail to beat you I will die. Now the ball is in your court Kuro will you let your sister have her chance at happiness. Or will you deny it to her not only in this life but everyone that would follow this lifetime?" with those words he spread his hands as he bellowed with laughter the stage had been set and his extra counter methods of ensuring this would take place now without intervention had just been put into place. Now the tables had turned he stood in control of the situation that would unfold, before snapping his fingers and having the Evil Seal upon Seika disappear. "Seika my love...if your brother refuses me this time I'm afraid it will be the last time we ever have the pleasure of making each others company." he would say smiling knowing that if anything Seika would force her brother to fight him, in truth he wouldn't put it passed Yuuki he knew she wouldn't allow his death anymore then his love Seika would. "

"Now prepare yourself Kuro whether it be this form, or any of the other bodies you may have hidden away I will face them all if you so desire. One thing is for certain this will be settled here and now my soon to be brother." he would say those sanguine and galaxy resembling orbs looking intensely upon Kuro. "I'll warn you this once before we face each other do not underestimate me." his words were cold and harsh Akkuma had made his decision no one would stop him from getting what he desired.

On his way to find the room that Kuro mentioned to him earlier, Shiromaru could hear voices and being the naturally inquisitive type that he was, he made his way towards the commotion. Upon arriving, Shiro spotted several individuals, none of which were familiar to him but he didn't mind. Everything seemed so tense like there was a fight about to go down. Just what exactly was going on here. Looking to the group, he asked innocently.

"Oooooh this looks like a GoT enactment. A boy's curiosity has been piqued. A boy would like to know whats going on here. -Ahem- Couldn't help it. But no seriously... whats up peeps?"
ooc: When Shiro breaks the 4th wall, feel free to icly question what hes talking about. He himself doesn't know he's breaking the 4th wall. Also... still posting from my phone, but for all intents and purposes Shiro looks like my Avi and his pants are bunched cargo above the knees and leg wraps from then downward. He's not wearing shoes.

Sanryoukyougan Kuro flickered over to Seika to remove her seal but noticed the seal was to seal evil not an elemental seal to stop light. He wasn't going to let Akkuma know he had used the wrong seal but on the other hand he had struck his sister in his presence and that he would not stand for. The dojo's wards began to rumble and strain as Kuro's chakra became both light and dark chakra in his rage. "You can call me out, claim you will destroy me, even destroy parts of the dojo, BUT NO ONE TOUCHES MY SISTER'S!!!" Kuro's spiritualist body began to glow in a distinct grey aura as dark chakra spilled over into light chakra. His eyes began to glow a vibrant violet as he gripped Sakibou no Hyakujuuonouu tightly before brandishing the holy blade as his stance made his body glow even brighter as the grey slowly became pure white despite the dark chakra within his blood. With a skill and tenacity beyond the power of both angels and demonbeasts Kuro's sacred blade shimmered as he disarmed Akkuma of his dagger before striking him with a rasengan of pure light. Kuro's rage was unabated as he battered Akkuma's guard and torso relentlessly without stopping. Then he remembered Akkuma's words as he suddenly stabbed the dark sage through the leg pinning him to the ground before declaring himself the loser of the duel. "I yield to your power Akkuma as you have withstood my rage. and bloodied the floor, you may truly court my sister... (his voice then became deeper than the abyss) If you ever harm my sister or make her cry, you would wish I had let you expire by your own curse." Kuro nodded to Kurosawa and Shiromaru to follow him to the sparring chamber where Mouko Kuro waited to face Shiromaru. "Follow us visiting warrior, Sennin Toraono awaits your presence in the sparring chamber #6."

Seika's next memory was of her and Yuuki crippled in pain as a seal was etched onto her body, binding them both from even thinking on how to try stopping the battle that was certain to happen now that her beloved had made his move. A wordless cry escaping her lips as she saw the seal materialise. It didn't take much for her to realise that he was risking a whole lot on this battle, then again why wouldn't he? This was their future after all. It was as though her world had been condensed down to her, her beloved and her baby brother. Everything else... seemed to fade into background noise. She knew that the moment that Akkuma touched her, that Kuro would deal with his challenge in the way any brother would. She wanted to tell him not to kill Akkuma, not the one she loved as he loved Suzuhime but she seemed wordless until Akkuma released the seal once his battle preparations had been completed.

“You should have let me kill him when he was on that table.”<i></i> Yuuki seethed, yet Seika knew that the words were empty of any malice that the angel could possess, the angel was just angry because of how he prevented her from stopping his actions. Had it been any other then he wouldn't be alive right now, but both Seika and Yuuki knew that there was more to him than what meets the eye.

She could feel her brother's chakra fill up the dojo, light and dark mixing into a hazy grey, and she could only watch and feel as Kuro lashed out at Akkuma, yet she was unable to do much more than watch the rage of her demon brother as he punished the one that would be her husband, punishing him before bloodying the floor by driving his weapon through Akkuma's leg, effectively ending the battle before it truly began and in the way only her brother could. She rushed forward, immediately setting to heal her beloved's wounds, knitting them closed with her chakra before realising that there was two others that she hadn't actually acknowledged prior to the battle. “Uhh, welcome to the Toraono dojo.” <i></i>She said quietly, not really paying much attention to either Shiromaru or Surutameni, her love needed her attention more.

When she was sure that he had been healed, she then slapped him. “Don't you dare do that to me again.”<i></i> She said with a snarl. “You may be my consort, but you shall not just ignore what I say, no matter what you think. Do you understand?!”<i></i>

ooc: Was waiting for others to post before I did but its almost been 5 days. (Hurray for having a computer to post on again)

The camera view panned from the ceiling to the floor showing the spatters of blood around the once lavish hallway and several in view. Shiromaru stood the furthest away from everyone confused as to what he'd just walked into. The camera view zooms into Shiro's face to display a look of confusion before his eyes dart to the right. In the next shot, a close-up of the Kuro that had previously attacked the unknown man and panned up from his waist to his face before the camera view once again returned to Shiro's face. A wide angle shot of everyone in the room and Shiro began to speak.

Uh... that was a thing I guess.</COLOR><i></i> From a wide angle to a 3/4 top down angle of all in the room with a slight clockwise rotation, Kuro usherd Shiromaru to their fighting chambers.

-Confused-
How many Kuro's are there anyway?<i></i> From there he walked with the man but not before saying his departing words to the others.

-Confused-
<COLOR color="white">G'luck with uh... whatever tha' hell this is. He walked away with Kuro. The camera would view the two of them from the front as they walked down the hallway. Shiromaru seemingly unfazed by the events that'd just happened, he had his hands up and behind his head in a resting position. Once they reached the arena, he'd speak again.

-Confident-
So lets get down wit tha' get down Kuro. And don't underestimate me homie. I wanna see you as serious as you was when you was beatin that other mofo' ass... if not more serious. The camera zoomed into Shiro's face to reveal a confident smirk.

[Calling B-Mod]

ooc: Gonna fight Kuro. Everyone else still here can be treated as spectators or w/e, just state if you're a spectator or in the fight.
Also, I'm fine with Kuro's other paths rping in the topic as they have been. I'm not trying to hijack this topic... so for those in the other room icly, feel free to continue as if there isn't a fight going on if you like.

Lets have some fun Kuro, its been a while.

OOC: It's a shame you didn't wait, I was mid post. I was ready to keep posting but it was 10 days since my last post before it was even my turn to post again. I'm currently in the middle of moving jobs (and subsequently, moving to a different state and signing a lease on an apartment, etc.) so I didn't notice that it was my turn. I apologize for the delay. You can treat me as a spectator or not involved in the fight if you'd like.
--

Nataku thought the situation he walked into was out of control. It was unusual, definitely unprofessional, and everyone appeared to have a different motive. For certain he was convinced the situation couldn't get worse. Or rather, that it couldn't become any more chaotic or strange. He was wrong.

Suddenly Nataku's senses were tingling. Someone else was present, a new energy, that wasn't there before. He weakly greeted the group, verbally announcing his presence. But that's when all hell broke loose. When Nataku turned away to allow the lovers to express their... affection... he missed a crucial detail. Akkuma used this opportunity to place a seal upon Seika. He laughed maniacally as he explained what was on his mind. If Nataku had learned anything at this point, it was that Akkuma and Seika liked to have things their way. When things didn't go their way, they became unhappy. And when they were unhappy...

Then some strange sealing jutsu was used. Akkuma used it to force a trial by combat for the right to marry Seika. The cost of disobeying this trial meant his own death. It was strange. He was essentially using his life as leverage to force himself into a fight that could cost him his life anyways. Nataku was confused, but he figured it was a smart move that would guarantee him the fight he wanted.

Right before the fight broke out, another stranger entered. He had a funny, casual way of talking that Nataku might have appreciated in another moment. His eyes never moved from Akkuma. He did not look at either of the two newcomers, nor did he look at Seika or Kuro. He was solely interested in Akkuma. It was this that allowed Nataku to miss Kuro's rage. Suddenly Kuro bellowed out in opposition to Akkuma's treatment of his sister. Akkuma was disarmed in a flash, nailed with a rasengan, pummeled repeatedly in the chest, then impaled in the leg. To Nataku, it looked as thought Akkuma had lost.

This is what made it strange when Kuro then declared Akkuma the victor. After a short burst of consideration, it made sense why Kuro behaved in that way. He wanted Seika's happiness, and he knew Akkuma was loyal. He did not want Akkuma to die, but he wanted to assert his dominance. Then Kuro made his way out of the room, so Nataku followed. Apparently they were headed to a sparring chamber. This whole event was way more high profile than Nataku originally planned. He was hoping for a private word, but instead seemed to be dancing along in a parade.

As they walked out of the room, he heard Seika yell at Akkuma for his behavior. Nataku briefly wondered if the relationship would last, given that the two of them were so at odds with each other. He figured that he didn't have much room to weigh in there, so he didn't. But then another fight was about to break out and call for Kuro's attention. Nataku's patience was used up.

"Alright, I'm not sure what I just witnessed but Kuro I was hoping I could have a word with you.." his voice trailed off, briefly pausing. By now they were out of earshot of the original room. "In private. If you don't mind." That last bit was included out of respect, but truthfully it was more of a demand. Certainly Kuro could be in several places at once, Nataku understood this, so the privacy shouldn't be asking for too much. There was much he wanted to say, and a lot of it could be said in front of others. However, there was a certain detail that Nataku would prefer remained secret. Should he not get his privacy, the detail would go unspoken. If this next fight got in the way of his audience with Kuro, Nataku would certainly take this as an insult. The lack of respect would turn into an anger that wouldn't be denied.
