It began as a dot in the sky, at the far horizon. Soon enough, it would be spotted that a bird was flying through the clouds. It was no ordinary bird, however, but a messenger. A small attachment, a simple flag attached to the leather harness on its back was a signifier that it was a procured messenger, an express delivery in fact. It was swift and rather experienced as it glided along the windstreams. Flying across to Kumogakure was no easy feat, but the bird was trained to reach the gates where it should be able to send the message properly.
Eyes set on the tower from above, the bird would fold its wings lightly before angling its body to dive. It swerved and swayed to reach the gate tower, where hopefully someone would find it and receive the message tube. Inside it would be the scrolled parchment where Kiri wrote:
“I’m sorry, I got lost along the way. Got separated from Junko-sensei and now in Fire Country” - Kiri
Aside from that though, along the tube an address would be attached, detailing the room number of Osuteno’s office in the hospital. It was a rather brief message as Kiri did not want to compromise any information, though perhaps one more reason was that he didn’t really know who else to contact with his current predicament.
