Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The cart rippled down the road in that second, the road was bumpy and the princess that was under guard had just entered the leaf territory. Her mission was to visit one of the members of a clan inside the village and try to strike up a negotiation for the clan to get some valuable material for her household. She groaned slightly as a rock bumped her cart in a split second, as she pulled the blind back from the cart and peered out into the forest, looking around to see what she was being stopped for.

“Guard, GUARD!”

Her voice raised quickly to grab the nearest attention of one of the men that sprinted towards her in a split second as he headed over to make sure she was not under attack.

“Yes, your highness?”

“Yes, I want to know why we have stopped? What are you doing thinking you can waste my time like this. We are on important business. I DEMAND WE KEEP MOVING!”

Her voice almost like scratching a black board it was that bad. Nothing was more irritating than her whining but the guards stood tall and stiff in the face of royalty shouting at them. IT was of course one of the things that their job required. Normally not having to look at protecting her, but for them she was the next in line to be the head of the family. That made her life more important than any of these which was annoying on its own.

“Princess, we need to wait at this location, we were given instruction that Shinobi from leaf would be coming to escort us the rest of the way. This is dangerous roads ma’am and we do not want you to get in trouble, so I feel that waiting for the guards are the best.”

As the group spanned out slightly and made sure that they were in the clear, it was soon obvious that they needed to make sure that the whole area was free and secure. The group had swords and shields wearing purple sashes on their armour plates as they spread out in a very military style precision. Their armour dark black against the clear day, as some servants huddled around the cart to restrict the access of anyone approaching. It seemed that they had everything organised between them that much was sure.

I wonder how long they will take, what they will look like, will they be professional. I wanna get moving as quick as possible. This is unacceptable to be waiting so long to do these things. I am not happy at all.

The guards seemed to have been happier that they managed to set up a secure perimeter in this area, of course this was out of the normal that much was true. They normally wouldn’t have stopped but with issues that had recently been happening inside and out of the village they wanted the extra protection. Besides that, wouldn’t hurt to have someone watching over the princess other than them.

On the arrival of the shinobi from leaf they would find fifteen armoured guards with sword and shields in a circle around the caravan, spread out and watching the perimeter to make sure that no-one else was going to try and attach the caravan without them knowing about it first. After the outer area where the guards would be protecting then it would come to the inner ring. This was the caravan being guarded by eight people in white robes, they were covered from head to toe and none of them showing their identity to anyone else.

Once they got past this it was final a golden and wooden caravan, the holes covered in fabric to cover the area up in that instant. It seemed that this time there was no-way of seeing who was inside, but if they managed to get a glimpse they would see a small child. She was around the age of eleven, and in a black and golden dress. Her hair blond and well looked after was neat and tidy out of the way, and her face covered in what would be make up though it wasn’t very important. Her eyes piercing green and her face showed a child though that acted older than she was.

Sometimes considered spoiled it was clear that her upbringing had made her that way, finally on the other side of the carriage with her would be a man in full black gear from head to foot, two swords on his back and his eyes always flicking around in every direction. The last line of defines for the important person in this instance. It was clear he would never talk to anyone always preferring to keep his job of protection to a completely serious level.

After the bird had flown off towards leaf the gates would have received the letter, informing them of the travelling that was taking place in this area, and of course the expectation that was required of them to make it through this area. With this would be the reward for helping this task be completed, as well as the request, though it would look like a demand for assistance to be given. It was just the way this group worked of course it was the way the family worked and it would never change.

They should have been here by now, why are they not close. Why does it take so long? Ugh this is annoying, wait till they arrive I will give them a scolding.

The thoughts raced threw her head as they waited for the arrival of their protection ground. Though she was getting impatient she knew when to sit still and not say a word, as well as when was the best time to confront people about things.

“Guards, let me know when they have arrived, I would like to speak to them as soon as they enter into the area please”

She waited for a reply before staying silent once more.

The whistling of the wind was loud as leaves parted ways and left an opening in the trees, Reoku landed on a tree limb ahead of Yeong, waiting for the boy to catch up.. Reoku withdrew his headset and placed it on his left ear and set its frequency and paired it to his spare, looking ahead Reoku could make out the caravan with all the heavily armed men among them, taking note of a few things amongst the party, it would seem that none of them were well suited for long or even medium range combat, something he would have to compensate for.

'Damn it, I thought I requested light armored escorts, all that armour is only going to slow them down.' Reoku looked behind wondering where he left Yeong, he figured there would be a speed difference but that much...

Jumping ahead from tree to tree, Reoku took one last leap and landed mere 10ft from a white robed figure, and 2 heavy armored guards, standing upright Reoku made his characteristic smile and crossed his arms behind himself supporting his lower spine

"Well seems we were both on time, well... everyone except my associate, he'll be here soon enough." Reoku said he made his Konoha Tattoo visible to the men in front of him

The flip of the stone sent an echoing crack to reverberate down the alley's walls. With a subtle grin, Yeong looked up at his elder companion and gestured to his latest move on the board. Before the pair was a familiar wooden block with carved lines tracing back and forth from the edges, sat atop it at each vertice were dual colored stones. The thing which brought the grin to the young man's face was the fact that more of the stones appeared to be showing one color than the other. "It would seem that none of your wise turns of phrase have aided you today, Baduk..."

The elder did not flinch at the words, clearly, ment to unhinge his mind from the task at hand he paid them little heed. The child before him had placed him in a precarious situation, but he was sure that in a number of moves he could change the momentum of the game and place the cocky upstart on the back foot. That is where mistakes are made, mistakes that caused the young and inexperienced to make even more of the same. Reaching over the board, he moved to place a new stone when something caught the eye of his new companion.

A bird, flying overhead, passing the gates and heading towards the Academy. Surely it meant news of some sort, a warning perhaps? At the very least, a trained animal messenger was a sign of some fortune. Baduk took the opportunity to palm one of the stones from his pile and drop an extra into the field unnoticed. It was dishonorable to cheat, but it was an equally bad form to take one's focus away from the game. Perhaps it would teach the child some manners and respect if nothing else.

Yeong paused for a moment, looking down at the board once his focus returned to him, considering how his position of victory did not seem as assured as it once had been. He had not noticed the sleight of hand, but the notion of his companions treachery had never crossed his mind. Dipping into his own pile of stones, he dropped another piece. A worthless move, one made to encourage his opponent to advance beyond what he was prepared for so that he might capitalize on what might be considered an opportunistic gamble.

Nodding to Baduk as he drew his hand back, the air was cut by the sound of a figure leaping from a nearby rooftop. As silent, a landing as their approach; the figure knelt in a crouched position, whispered a few words to Yeong and then dashed away. If one were to blink too long or talk too loudly, it could just as easily been missed completely. With a sigh, Yeong pressed himself up from his knees and stretched his muscles out beneath the hanbok he had chosen for the day. "My apologies, old friend, it would seem I am being called away once more." Baduk began to grumble about unfinished games, but Yeong was already long gone by the time the expletives would have started.

Never having been much of one for physicalities, Yeong tried his best to reach the front gates before the person he was supposed to have met left him behind. This Reoku person, he had seen once before in a meeting of Main Branch members and had been assigned to a team with him. It was the reason he had been called out, he presumed, to aid in this mission. Yet, things seemed to have been done in such a rush that he was ill prepared for it when the time came... let alone the rest of the team. As far as he could tell, he was the only other one to have answered the call.

So there he was, dashing straight down the roads towards a convoy of guards in the middle of the woods. No clue where Reoku was after he had so speedily dashed ahead of him. He knew simply what he was looking for and where they should be, he supposed the sight of the Leaf Jounin would only help call attention to the area as well. If he got lost or there was trouble, he need only remember that one simple warning he had heard in the Academy hallways about dealing with Reoku.

"Where there is smoke, there is fire."

Reoku being the first one of the two of them to land, he would be the one that was considered the immediate threat out of the Shinobi that they were waiting for. Even by showing his leaf symbol that didn’t stop the outer guards in their duty, it was clear that they were going to make sure he wasn’t just pretending to be someone he wasn’t. Instantly shields and guards met the man in what could be considered an act of aggression or duty-bound guarding. That was down to the interpretation of the leaf shinobi. As one of them seeming to have a red helmet rather than the black normal ones approached he pushed the swords down.

“Name, Rank, both have been given in advanced, failure to comply will end in your death. Failure to adhere to our demands will result in death”

It seemed he wasn’t about to sit around and have a nice chat with the newcomer, it was straight down to business in that sense. As the second one would arrive he would be asked the exact same question. Wondering how this would go, the questions would have been the same it was nothing that was unexpected. Of course, it would mean that they needed to make sure what happened was correct, they would hate for the situation to blow up in that split second.

“What’s going on out there! I DEMAND TO KNOW!”

A girl’s head would pop out from the carriage as she scanned around to see what commotion was going on with her guards, spotting the new comer a small smile would spread across her lips at the thought of finally getting on the move. She glanced around to see the second person coming as she laughed to herself slightly looking at the boy in her eyes that had arrived to protect her.

“OH HE IS A CUTE ONE, WHATS HIS NAME!”

Her voice echoed to the captain that turned and sighed before turning back to face the new comers, it seemed they wouldn’t be getting past the inner circle if they even got that fair, as the captain waved the two beside to allow the new comers into the inner part of this protection detail he glanced at them keeping his eyes fixed on them at all times, not budging or even blinking as he watched each move with detail and precision.

“I apologize for the princess, she has been travelling a while and wants to get to her destination quickly and without any fuss.”

The man spoke quickly and with what could only be described as some pure authority aurar around himself at that moment in time. He was the head of her guard this much was sure, and his armour seemed to glow slightly at that moment, of course it was true that he probably had the potential to cause destruction that much was another fact that didn’t go so well for anyone looking at him. His armour had scars and scratches threw out it as he stood there, the light reflecting from the polished plates.

“So, what is your plan for getting us through this forest quickly? I need to know what you both had planned, and how you would stop anything ambushing us, after all you are protecting royalty, it better not has just been a shambled idea that you put together last minute to hope it somehow managed to work itself out, that would not please my ears at all.”

His words showed that they had already had this experience multiple times of course. Though he seemed to be willing to listen to the plan that had been set out by the Shinobi from leaf, Reoku had a lot of explaining and persuading to do in order to prove himself even slightly competent. It seemed that today no name would be given to Reoku that much he would have to get on his own. The security of their royalty seemed to be the top priority right now and they would do anything to protect her, even if her head was sticking out of the cart as she was watching everything that was going on with interest shining in her eyes.

“I will wait to hear your plan, please if you want us to start walking I suggest leading the way, I will notify the inner guard, though I request that you do not go near them, you can stay in between the outer line of defence and the inner but make no attempt to contact her highness. Unless she summons you directly to speak to you, this way we know that she is safe, I apologize for the precautions but you must understand where we are coming from with this aspect. You would do the same to protect an important person of leaf.”

One of the inner guards moved up and whispered to the captain it seemed that it was just to relay information that was being sent back and forth at that moment in time. Nothing important as he turned on his heel it was clear form the gloves he wore that he was a Tai user, but it seemed each one of the eight-inner circle could do something different. A note maybe worthy of making down as he returned to the princess and the carriage he cleared his throat before speaking to her directly.

“your highness we have an update for you, if you would like to hear it?”

“Of course, you idiot, spill it out I want to know what is happening, don’t keep me waiting!”

“Of……of course, we will proceed however the Ninja from leaf say is the best option, we are waiting for them to make the call then they will start the convoy moving once more, we should not be waiting long and should be underway as soon as possible”

“Finally, I can get out and be free from this wooden box, by the way who is the young one?”

“I do not know your highness, I will find out for you though”

With that it was down to the leaf shinobi to continue to progress this travelling convoy.

Reoku appalled by the forwardness of the guard with the red indication, so make it quick and simple Reoku looked at all the soldiers scanning the group for vulnerabilities and strengths, when out of corner of his eye he saw the boy he was waiting for, out of all of the group who attended the meeting he was only one he remembered, this Yeong fellow... 'So, he was only one who responded, guess hes only one on my team who is driven' Reoku thought as the princess stuck her head out of the carriage and make a slightly advanced comment.

Looking at the boy Reoku threw his extra headset at Yeong casually and said "Here, this is for the mission, glad you able to make it." Turning back to the soldier after everyone settled down, "My plan is keep watch over this group, low key is best, I require your men to try to remain calm, Team Reoku is here to help."

Turning on his mic after making sure Yeong put it on Reoku whispered in the comms "Hey, you might not of heard but the princess has taken to you, try and get in close." Reoku grinning "I dont want to go into full details but there is possible chance we are being watched, so lets try and continue and I will explain while we are on route to the village."

Reoku was impressed slightly by the guards forwardness taking consideration to the men in robes and looked along the road for vulnerabilities Reoku had to take a leap of faith and hope for the best

The more he thought about it, the more the entire situation seemed to stick in his craw like a sack full of butterflies. It made no sense from any angle... Why would a group wishing to be escorted to the Leaf village send such a request from only halfway through their journey? With a hilt lilt to one side, he voiced the opposite argument inwardly. Maybe they needed a guide to show them the way, it was called the 'hidden village' after all. That at least made some sense. Give them a position in the middle of nowhere, then guide them in under careful scrutiny.

In that way, the shinobi leaving the village couldn't be immediately tracked or... but they had sent the bird that carried the message to the village in the first place. Even if the birds didn't come from them, the bird itself could have been tracked back to the village. No, then that couldn't be it, not unless it was a massive oversight. What if it were guards then? Guard duty didn't seem that uncommon, especially among the lower ranked Academy graduates. Normally one would hire a team, who would make the trek to a place and guard a target on their way somewhere. This... hiring guards halfway to the location, from the very place you were going. It all seemed a bit too odd for Yeongs taste.

Even with these thoughts dogging his mind, he leaped from a nearby tree to make his presence known as Reoku addressed the gathered assortment of heavily armored guards. The way they filled in an organized manner about the cart and given their gear, Yeong felt even more wary about the doubts that had been boiling under the surface of his calm demeanor. "Yeong Su Han, Leaf Genin." He said aloud to the guard wearing a red helm, bowing at the waist in a respectful manner just slightly behind Reoku.

For whatever reason, he noted Reoku's unwillingness to give in to the guard captains demands. They had seemed harmless enough, a simple check to make certain that they were the people intended to be met. Well, harmless up to the point of the repeated death threats anyway. Being the one with far more experience, Yeong simply watched Reoku from behind after speaking out of turn. For his part, the elder tossed him a thin bud on a wire, to which Yeong caught and slid into his ear. He had never had to work as a team before, so had never had a need to purchase one of these communications devices before.

Nodding to the suggestion that the team leader gave, that they could be in the midst of being watched, he simultaneously disregarded the suggestion that he get in close with the princess. Instead of gazing about his surroundings, he simply side-eyed the little girls head that popped out of the caravan flap from time to time barking orders. Regardless of the flowery words, she may have tossed in his direction, she seemed like more of an annoyance than anything else. "As you say, I will follow your lead." His response to Reoku was given in an even tone, meant to belay little to no emotion as he regarded the guards around them.

It seemed that the leaf personal had arrived as requested at the site given to them, it was clear that this mission held some importance. As the guard captain continued to chat away about the mission with his team, he went around one by one making sure his men were prepared for whatever would come their way, it was their job to die if needed to protect someone and right now it was that honour and pride that they would have to go and give their lives to protect the princess. There weapons prepared as they made sure that they were always on high alert.

The Captain slowly walked over to the carriage as he peered inside to make sure that the princess was doing ok, knowing full well that they probably should be already getting on the road. Making sure that they travelled correctly. As he moved to obscure the view of the Shinobi he allowed his head to bow down in respect as he addressed the princess. It seemed she was more than happy to just play with the dolls provided by her family that day and of course she was more than happy to just live in her fantasy world.

“Have you got a name for me Captain? I do want to know what he actually is doing here so young, and his name find this information out for me already have you Captain?”

Her voice calm and collect showing her wisdom which was a chance to her annoying attitude that she had already had. It seemed her personal talk with her guards was different from how she normally spoke, though it was probably nothing to worry about. As they spoke between each other words came out that probably was hard to hear but others came in that was obvious to hear.

“Yes Princess, he goes by the name of Yeong Su Han and holds the rank of Leaf Genin. I wouldn’t think on him to much your highness, he normally doesn’t have much importance at that rank if I remember correctly. Though if you want I can find out more?”

The guards voice was normal and direct, he answered to the orders of the girl that oversaw him, something weird about that but of course what could be done. He was a guard and she was above him, his job to protect her and keep her safe always.

As the guards began there move, they begun to make sure that they moved in precision. They wanted to make sure that they protected the carriage at all costs, each step they made was careful and considered. Always on alert they continued to look around and make sure that they were protecting the convoy. As the thuds of armour ringed out through the forest their journey had started and was continued onwards. The mission simple and it was to reach leaf, there was nothing more for them to do that that small mission. It was a tough call but each step brought them closer to it.

“Keep alert and keep sound down to a minimum, I do not want to cause any trouble if it isn’t needed am I understood, Guard remember your job and protect the princess no matter the cost, make sure that she is safe, this trade agreement will save our people and help us develop in the future, this is of course something that we need to do.”

His voice harsh as the guard around them responded by nodding slightly and allowing their own helmets to show that they acknowledge the situation that they were in, it would be clear that even now they had to protect the princess.

“How long will it take us to get there?”

The voice of the princess echoed around the carriage as she addressed the masked man that sat opposite her, the carriage was rumbling and bouncing down the track it was somewhat annoying for her. Of course, that didn’t matter at that moment in time, she sighed as the cart bounced her around of course, it was something that she wasn’t used to. A normal ride had become rocky and bumpy as they travelled through the forest, but a means to an end was always the point of this path they were on.

“It should only take a few hours, you know this but patience is a virtue princess. We will arrive when we arrive what else can we do?”

“I guess you are right body guard, but I just wish I wasn’t the one that had to come here, brother is doing nothing and I am stuck on this ride!”

They both went back to sitting in silence as the cart continued to move forward, it was becoming clear that everything was on the right track now with the assistance of the two shinobi that had turned up. The cart moved at a good pace and it wasn’t slowed down, this meant that they were making good pace, now heading deep into the forest of leaf. Of course, it was clear that the jungle was now surrounding them right about now. This way made a lot more sense go through the forest and make a direct route for the gates would speed the process up and allow the princess to reach her goal quickly. It was decided by the head of the family that this route was going to be the best way to go.

“We are entering the forest now, this means that we should be soon at the gates princess, we need to get this job and negotiation done as quick as possible. Please remember that this journey has been long, but now you are at the end of it.”

“Of course, I know, but its taking so long its becoming infuriating! I just want to get there now!”

Her voice echoed out of the cart, it was clear that she hated the travel and wanted to get it over with that much was clear at that moment in time.

With all the guards in their various ranks, it seemed to take a while for the caravan to get moving at anywhere near a full clip. All the heavy armor did wonders to make them an easily identifiable target, isolated in the woods as they were. At the rate they were moving, they would still be a few hours away from the village. Ample time for any would be assassins or kidnappers to setup an ambush site ahead of them. Just another confusing item on the checklist of why this mission seemed peculiar.

With the level of volume of the various guards clanging away, it wasn't hard to hear the captain shouting commands or talking to the princess in her carriage. There was the mention of Yeong, which was somewhat unsurprising given what Reoku had said earlier, but something he continued to find off-putting as well. The more interesting tidbit was the mention of a trade agreement, that at least gave context as to why they were out here at all. Though, why one would send a princess to negotiate what was clearly an economic matter was equally as baffling.

Raising a hand to the side of his face, he pressed a small button that dangled from the device hanging from his ear. The responding psst noise of the activated radio buzzed in his ear. "I'm going to press on, do a little forwards scouting..." He nearly whispered, the mic was good enough to pick him up and the receivers were ear mounted. He was sure he could be heard over the din of metal footsteps, either way, his actions would speak where his words might have been missed. Dashing forwards he leaped for the nearby tree's, finding purchase on a branch he made his way through the canopy to keep an eye on the ground below.

Ahead of them, the paths available would diverge into a number of options. There were safer routes that afforded more visibility and assured the chances of being ambushed would be slim. Then there were more direct paths that went through the surrounding forests that enveloped the hidden leaf village. There seemed little need to scout a safer location, so Yeong chooses to delve deeper into the forest to ascertain any hidden threats that may be contained therein. He kept a hand ready to activate his radio should the need arise, wary of being caught in a trap himself. He had no real experience in avoiding or detecting such things, his only hope would be to call in reinforcements as quickly as possible.

As the caravan begun its march through the dense brush as the commands were made for silence, Reoku walking along the caravan guard and slowly paced himself towards the man whom identified as the leader assumed by his stance and colour breakout form the rest, eye-ing him over Reoku quickly looked at the status of the rest of the guard to determine combat effectiveness and stance on the situation.

"Seems your men are loyal, this is good... My only request of your men is that they stay tight in formation and create a shield wall in case of situation arises that myself and Yeong need to engage a threat, I want to keep you all alive, but since I did not train with your men I dont know of they're capabilities... So I think its best I take care of threats that come up."

Reoku quickly heard the buzz on the radio as Yeong stated his intentions of going ahead of rest.

"Sure thing, try to keep eye contact of the caravan and circle us, anything that you see report immediately, good job taking the initiative"

Reoku said as he watched Yeong go ahead...

[Flashback]
This situation was all to much of a parallel to when Reoku first became a jinchuriki, a caravan escort leading down a unrulling road thriving pillagers and mercenaries trying to make a quick buck, but when Reoku defiled that spring that led to Brisnger's birth it was mere fate he survived that day and luck he found the talisman that was around his neck even to this day, looking back into Reoku's memory's he recalled that Akira was there to save his life and bring him back to Leaf but now today was different as he was now the senior member of the party and there was no medical support....

[Inner Sanctum]
Reoku looked up at Brisnger perched above him as the two made eye contact and at this moment Reoku spoke up as the massive fire beast spread his wings across the blackness of Reoku's inner sanctum.

"Listen, this is no time for you to cause trouble, I have a job to do and I know you think this is funny.. dont make me kick your ass again."

Brisnger morphed into a shade of Reoku facing him eye to eye as he retailiated

"You still dont have the control to use my Chakra and are not ready to take the reigns, so until that happens, piss off... and if you threaten me again, Ill show you and everyone around you what happens when I go wild."

[Meanwhile on outside]
Everyone around Reoku can 'Feel' massive pressure wave as Reoku's chakra goes while and small but potent aura of flame began to erupt around Reokus body as Reoku's shirt exploded off his chest and quickly turned to ash, Instinctively Reoku's subconscious made him jump ahead of the caravan group just far enough that everyone ahead of him could see the flash of fire and head as it led way to the village, even Yeong in the tree line can see the flash of heat as it pushed the leaves around in a swirl of wind as the heat emitted from Reoku could not be tamed and had no easy way to escape the narrow corridor of the roadway as the ceiling above was far to narrow

[Inner Sanctum]
Reoku's chakra erupted in his mind as Reoku took the form of Chakra Cloak Alpha and stacked his Mantle of flame and jumped towards the shade of himself that Brisnger was manifesting himself into, thrusting his fist into the shade of himself Brisnger exploded into ash and flame as he took the form of a Massive Dragon-like creature and Reoku's Alpha cloak quickly changed shape and made his skin become scaled and his right arm he struck Brisnger with grew into a talon with long nails and scaled up to his shoulder as his veins begun to ripple with fire in the place of blood.

[Outside]
Same could be said for Reoku on outside but this time the heatwave subsided and Reoku's appearance took the form of his inner self as his arm scaled up to his shoulder as his topless self exposed to the surroundings and leaving a sight to behold to anyone who might see Reoku flex his muscles as his form made him quite ripped... still with the mantle of flame and his now scaled appearance he looked more like a creature then human.

[Inner Sanctum]
Brisnger looked down at Reoku as he smiled as he was beginning to see the Chakra bond they had now effected Reoku's shape when Brisnger changed his, and the smile turned to a sly grin.

"Seems we are becoming quite the couple, I could easily manipulate you and turn you into a creature as easy as breathing."

Reoku replying

"Like hell you can, you think I will just stand idle as you twist my life... I will destroy you become that becomes a problem." Taking a deep breath Reoku's appearance exploded into a fully engulfed dragooned form as he assumed was a Omega variant of himself as he sprouted wings and his upper torso was all scaled armor that formed over his muscles and had a reddish tone to his skin while his abs and briceps were slightly purplish..

Forming a ball of fire in his right hand, Reoku jumped into Brisnger and slammed the fire into Brinsger with all his might the exploding force was massive as it sent Reoku flying to the ground and Brinsger was nowhere to be seen...

[Outside]
This sent Reoku back to the outside as he realized he must of been walking for what was mostly the sum of a few minutes, but looking behind he could see the faces of the Guards behind him and quickly got on comms.

"That was rough, Yeong you see anything ahead?" Taking no consideration of how long he actually spent dealing with Brisnger

'Damn it what did I do...' Thinking to himself as he looked at his hands and realized his shirt was missing and he was covered in scales while his right arm was no longer looking human and what he did not notice was that Reoku's right eye was yellow and slit like a cat as the dragoon form from his Omega state scared his iris, until he felt his life force drain and quickly reverted his physical form to a more comfortable state.. back to his normal form.

"Well that was interesting, I didnt even know I could do that." muttering to himself as he let out a little chuckle.

While the cart was still moving ti seemed that something had happened between the two Shinobi from leaf. While one of them had headed off and made sure that he was scouting ahead. This probably was the right call for the situation it would make it easier for them to manage as they proceeded to move up in a convoy type pattern, the guards had closed ranks now though with the little incident with Reoku having put them all straight away on edge in what could be considered mere seconds of course. They had shield walls protecting the cart it seemed something had already thrown them off about the men that were near them.

“What is going on guard! I demand answers, why have we just gone overly protective is my main question!”

The princess voice echoed out like a huge wave, hitting those ears that were nearby and causing a few of the guards to flinch at the sound of her voice as if it was a knife that was cutting threw butter at that point. The guard’s backs instantly begun to stand taller at the address that they had been given by the princess. It was clear that they had already heard her orders and were waiting for the captain to address them, it was his duty to talk to her. The front guard though refused to step close to Reoku at that moment in time.

As the red helmeted one came across to instantly have a look at the current state of the princess, it was clear that he had to go and talk to her, though checking around he had to make sure the situation was ok first his eyes always staying on the Shinobi sent from the leaf village. It was obvious that they had to protect her, but they didn’t expect to have to be weary of the ones sent by leaf from the inside, it made things slightly harder to comprehend now, let alone come to grips with the fact if they could trust him or not.

“Everything is fine Princess, we have just slowed down to check ahead is all, nothing to concern yourself about I can assure you were are on schedule and moving at a steady pace towards leaf as we speak, I wouldn’t concern yourself with anything else. Leave the worrying to myself and the guards and just relax the rest of the journey”

His voice calm and showing the experience behind it as he walked beside the carriage, they continued to walk at a good pace forward. The cart trundled behind the guards without a single hitch up. It was clear that they had a few issues with the new man, but of course this would be resolved later. They had a mental note of this, and they would remember the situation without any issues. The head guard took his position once more at the front leaving the inner circle to continue to protect the precious cargo that they were transporting.

“I hope we get there soon, I cannot wait to stretch my legs, it’s been to long already that I have been stuck in this little travel box doing nothing but sitting on the bumpy road”

The princess spoke to the silent guard, the only reply that she got was a nod, it was to keep the presence of someone else inside the cart from the real world, of course there would be more than that in the future. But for now, the rules were no talking only agreeing with the choices that had been made and what was being said threw head gestures.

As the group continued to walk a bit more forward, in the distance it seemed that leaf was coming up, this was where it would get a bit more interesting. As the convoy came into the darkness of the trees that hung overhead it was clear that this was where it would become worrying. It was always the worst part of the travel through the forest that surrounded the area was that it didn’t offer any form of open spaces, it was easy to trap those within inside of the area. This was always a hazard style of area and of course it would continue to be so. This was why the Shinobi from leaf were hired for the job to make sure that they protected the convoy threw this dangerous part.

“We are now entering the forest, please make sure that the princess is fully protected around the area, I do not want anything getting past us. Make sure it’s a tight formation be on high alert and make sure nothing goes wrong. We are here to protect someone special let’s not forget that. Move out men, steady pace and be alert”

As the convoy progressed it seems things were going well, until a tree came to the group. It blocked the road and seemed to cut off the route that they would take to get themselves to the village. Stopping suddenly, it was clear that during that time they had no choice but to allow the small break, and it was this point which would cost them a few losses to the guard detail. Fire and lightning erupted from two different directions, one guard screamed out in pain as he was burnt alive inside his armour plates that was meant to protect him. Instead locking him inside the inferno that consumed his flesh.

The other guard became a lightning rod in that split second, his body convulsed and spasmed as the muscles began to contract themselves in that split second as he screamed in pain, before collapsing into a heap on the floor without another word coming from his mouth, it seemed that they were finally all under attack and completely defenceless. The attacks had come from a direction that was into the forest. It was clear that right now they had no idea where the combat had come from at that moment in time.

- One guard on the right burnt to death

It was sudden, quick and decisive as the tree fell to the ground it was almost like clockwork as the two assailants fell two of the guards on the outer perimeter, lightning and fire, Reoku turned quickly as he ignited his scaled appearance and fire erupted from his veins, looking at the tree that blocks the road Reoku jumped towards it quickly positioning himself do that his attack would not accidentally send wood debris towards the caravan and blasted it with the power of his voice alone.

Think fast, think smart, come on Reoku do what you were born to do... Yeong I hope your ready..

Reoku looked around quickly as he tried his best to discover the where about of the attacks and prepared himself to engage them in the only way he knew how... pure chaotic destruction, thinking quickly he remembered that Yeong was ahead of the group and surely he would of heard the ruckus he made at his shout was intense in nature and he got on the Headset while his sanity still griped him.

"Yeong we are being engaged, one a Lightning User, one a Flame User, I am attempting to locate them now, Ill relay location of who i discover shortly."

Reoku ended with that as his chakra channeled for his technique and could go either way.. hopefully luck was only on his side.

The roar of flames from behind was an undeniable distraction from his forward focus. Taking a step from the tree branch he had been perched from, he landed quietly on the forest floor, carefully choosing a spot unladen with leaves to give away his position with their telltale crunch underfoot. It was no secret that the mentor they had assigned him to was a bit of a hotspot. He had always assumed the terminology referred to his attitude less so than to his skill set. The voice that came back over the headset seemed far too calm to have just been assaulted by the firestorm that he seemed to be sensing from the direction of the caravan, therefore he could only assume it was a matter of some routine with Reoku.

"Other than the heatwave we were all just subjected to, no... seem's relative clear from this side..." That was until a tree seemed to collapse somewhere between himself and the team leader. The crash of wood slamming into the dirt was almost as deafening as the explosion of fire had been. The cocoughany prevented him from finishing his sentence as he turned back towards it, entranced in watching it come down. There was something hypnotic in the destruction that caused people to stop and gawk. Yeong was no different than anyone else in this respect. It was the fire and lightning that shook him from his reprieve, people were dying... people were dying when he had gone ahead to scout. There was no doubt this would be seen as his fault.

Focusing as hard as he could in that instant, he remembered back to his survival training. For an instant, he had been able to see his opponent far more clearly than he had ever been able to in his focus training courses. That was before time stopped and he had been assaulted by visions. It was a risk, but his only hope to get back without reprimand was to turn the situation around in such a way as to be seen the hero instead of the failure. His head started pounding as he could once again feel the trickle of warm dampness dribble its way down his eye. "Well, isn't that interesting?" Came a familiar voice from over his shoulder.

Deciding not to engage, Yeong retained focus directly ahead of himself. If he could spot the chakra flow of the assailants through the foliage, there was a chance he could still point them out and rally a counter attack that would surely make up for his previous mistakes. "Do you think that flame user is any relation to your new master?" The voice spoke up again, slightly softer yet closer to Yeongs ear. Closing his eyes for the briefest of seconds, he held the heel of his palm against his head. Every word made his temples throb as if something were trying to dig its way out of his skull.

"Will you PLEASE shut up!" There was no doubt that his comm link was still on, transmitting his words to Reoku who would have no idea he was talking to a figment of his own imagination... not that it would help to explain such things in any sane way. Far easier to hope the image of his father would simply acquiesce to his plea and go away than to call out his problems over the headset. Twisting his hands across the sleeves of his hanbok, he formed rudimentary chakra strings from his fingertips. Shooting them down the widened fabric around his wrists, he pulled out the wide rings that bounced around his forearm. In one fluid motion, the bangles expanded in such a way as to make the larger bits open up inside smaller ones to form a single segmented form with a snake like head at the upper end.

Curling his fingers in such a way as to make the humanoid snake bob around as though it were less of a marionette and more like an actual creature, he scanned the forest once more for anything he may have missed the first time. His blood red eyes now split down the middle with the activation of a power he truly did not understand. With his hands occupied he could not accurately form the hand signs necessary to try and deflect attention from himself should he find himself ambushed as well. However, he concentrated on his genjutsu training none the less. He was willing to try whatever it took to survive this scenario and come back a hero not only for the Leaf but whatever country he was escorting along the way.

The guards had become huddled around each other, it was clear that they didn’t want to do anything that could cause more of their own to die. Protection was there purpose and the two downed men proved their loyalty to the cause with their burned-out armour and damaged goods. It had become clear that they took the role seriously. It seemed that in the huddle the defence had improved that they were putting out, it was clear that this group meant business. As they dragged the dead back into the circle to keep them out of the attacks that may come their way.

“GROUP UP, ON ME!”

The captain voice came across straight away, it was clear that they wanted to protect the cart, it seemed that so did the Shinobi from the village. The issue would be that to keep this protective convoy safe and out of the way. As the head guard ran around giving orders it was clear that he was trying to offer as much protection as possible. It seemed that the fighting situation had stopped. The guards looked around but it seemed that the shinobi sent by leaf where already in actions it would be down to them to fix the problem that had come their way. Of course, they needed the help and that much was clear but it would soon be obvious that even now they had to keep protecting the caravan.

“WHAT IS HAPPENING OUT THERE, I DEMAND ANSWERS TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING!”

The voice came out from the caravan in such a high pitch done it made a few of the nearby shield bearers wince in pain, but they soon recovered and stood as sentinels, glancing out into the distance to see what was happening. The guard turned to talk to the girl quickly making sure she was ok, they spoke back and forth about the situation keeping her up to date on everything that was happening. It had become clear that the risk to her life was not going so well, even now she was at risk from the stopped convoy.

………………………………………………………………………………….

Splitting in different directions, the two attackers had already headed out since their first attack, not even waiting around to see if it was a hit or miss they were on the run straight away. Smart of them not to hang around and of course even now they tried to continue to evade capture as their mission. It was simple to attack and retreat the guards where not an issue if they could not find them this much was the truth of the matter. Reaching up the man of the group touched his headset and activated it in a few seconds making sure it came across loud and clear.

“Mission achieved, we will regroup at the point provided, remember stay hidden and do not engage, we have our orders we must follow them threw”

As the two of them continued to move swiftly it was clear that they had stealth on their side, as they avoided and evaded. The fire user landed wrong the branch snapping as he regained his composure, sending the shattered branch to the ground with a loud bang. He recovered without any hassle and made his way towards the marked location without hesitating, he needed to make sure that he completed his task.

That was close, we shouldn’t be followed but in case we are we need to make sure they have a distraction, I can sort that out.

As he allowed his hands to come together it was clear he was setting a trap up, the question here is what would the two shinobi from leaf do.

This was quickly becoming an issue as Reoku looked towards the direction that one of the Shinobi had left towards, thinking quickly Reoku performed 'Elemental Clone Technique' and left a clone of himself with the convoy, and going on his headset to relay a message to Yeong that most likely did not anticipate what was going on.

"Will you PLEASE shut up!" Reoku heard over the radio, as Yeongs voice echo'd in his right ear.. 'What is he getting at?' Reoku thought as he heard Yeong's voice concerned him slightly instead Reoku continued with what he had planned to say.

"Yeong get the convoy to haul ass top speed to the village, I'll leave that girls safety in your hands, I'll take care of our guests... I left a clone for appearances sake, he should be able to afford minimal support if need be" Reoku finished saying as he blitz the forest and engaged his 'Mantle of Flame' for added support, Reoku quickly found the broken branch and began to observe the surroundings for anything that would be amiss, and slowly things began to show they're tracks, small impressions in the wood, leaves and broken branches where they should not be.. everything added together and with 'Reoku's Crystal Eye' adding support from above, Reoku's awareness was heightened.

"Yeong, Reoku here, I spotted one of the assailants tracks, I'm going to engage them... I dont want to alarm you, but this might be a ploy to pull us away from the convoy, stay alert... I got faith in you, get them to the village"

Jumping from tree to tree, Reoku slowly found small impressions that looked like footprints, it seemed there was a common practice in this ones escape tactics, some times were seemingly on purpose, some were too obvious, it was almost like they were made to appear impractical.

'Crap... I got a bad feeling about this, one of those fire users could use combustive seals, and laid a trap for me... its what I would of done, least I have my full strength' thinking to himself, Reoku had a good guess what was in store for him and it could end up poorly if Reoku was unprepared...

~Reoku's Clone~
Disbanding his cloak to appear normal Reoku looked to Yeong then back to the Convoy, it was going to be a long haul if the guards were going to be in defensive mode the whole time, the crew needed to shift into high gear and progress to the village at top speed, "Guards we need to hurry and get to the village, there is no way of knowing if more will come, we need to move..."

Lifting the debrie away from the road and throwing the charred tree stump, Reoku looked ahead as he noticed characteristics for Yeongs puppet he admired, 'When real me gets back I should test Yeong and see how far he can be pushed' [Tutoring Opportunity]

... Meanwhile

~Real Reoku~
Taking a moment to catch his breath, and avoiding potential traps and explosives if he could Reoku waits for the assailant to come into view and tails him to where he is heading, 'Ok buddy bring me to your friend, ill eliminate you both'

Reoku slowly made pace to find where the two went, but if he could settle for finding one of them, he would make him talk, this was unacceptable. "Yeong I am on his trail, but I have a feeling things are going to get dramatic." he said he knew what ever was laid for him he could charge past them and go full speed to catch up.

~Reoku's Clone~
After Clearing away the fallen tree, Reoku started to consider the men, walking up to the captain of guard and observing the calmness of the men, "We need to leave, now.. If your men have troubles running while in armor, I recommend leaving the gear in your carts and prepare for a sprint, right now they have our position so we must continue." saying to the men.

The shout of the princess's caravan could be heard even at the distance Yeong was passing through. It gave him the moments pause to turn and look back, thinking that maybe a secondary attack was underway. That this was not the case was something of a relief, though the high born petulance on display was of no additional comfort to his already strained mind. The voice of Reoku in his ear calling him back to the convoy was just an additional disappointment. He had already heard one of the girl's screams, now he was going to have a much more up close destruction of his eardrums. He could already imagine how much worse his musical performance would be after she made him tone deaf.

"That girl could use a proper spanking..." Were the source of the idea not coming from such a despicable creature, he might have agreed. As it were, he inwardly cursed that his previous outburst had not been followed through on. Somewhere behind him, the visage of his father was still following him about. No doubt to drive him crazy as some sort of punishment, for what he could not even fathom. This was the man who had killed his mother and granny felt she had to abscond the village with Yeong to get away from. He couldn't even fathom the mind of the man, let alone his intent.

The thing he surely wasn't going to do was tell people he had been seeing visions of him ever since that day in the training field. The best case scenario there would be that he would be discovered as having a mind weak to genjutsu, broken of it and have a record that permanently reflected such things. As someone that trained their entire life, thus far, to be the best genjutsu user of their age... this was an unacceptable outcome. Worse case... well, he could hardly consider what the worst case might be. That he was well and truly going mad? Or that his father really was in his head? The fact that no one else had ever seemed to interact with the image of his father seemed to indicate that he really wasn't there, but he was always keeping an eye out to be sure that wasn't mere coincidence.

"You know what would teach her a lesson. If we could get that fire friend of yours to think that some of the guards were..." The voice prattled on, but Yeong concentrated on tuning him out. There was no doubt some thought in that mess about attacking the convoy themselves and making it look like the other side had done it. He was already coming to accept such ideas as the first thing his father would say. Best to just stay focused on the task at hand, rather than to consider what a horrible person might be standing a few feet away from him. "Acknowledged." He tabbed the mic again, unwittingly turning it off rather than on, and talking to no one.

Turning back towards the caravan, he dashed through the woods to reconvene with the clone of the jounin. He couldn't fathom of what use this would be. Surely the attackers had shown proficiency enough in jutsu to be able to ascertain a clone from the real thing, especially if they were being watched this whole time. Even the strongest clone wouldn't be of much use to an area of effect attacks such as the ones that had already been used against them. Then there was Yeong, a low-level Genin having troubles of his own. He hadn't been able to find them even when he had run right on their heels. It was not a promising situation, one in which he had great doubts of success.

Waving his arms in such a way that made his puppet swirl around him like a ribbon dancer, he indicated from the distance that the road appeared clear ahead. He could only hope that the Reoku clone had handled enough of the tree for the guards and the wagon to pass by in a speedy manner as he waited for them to meet up with him. "All alone... is that really how you want to die?" The voice was chillingly close to his ear as he continued to wave. If the man really wasn't beside him, then it was revealingly true how out in the open Yeong was. Even though the caravan and clone were in sight, he was relatively out in the open and alone.

Yeong gulped as he watched the slow approach of the wagon.

With the pursuit taking place, it was clear that the Leaf Ninja would not let the members of the assassination squad suddenly dissipate. As the two of the shinobi of unknown origin continued to move it was clear that they had managed to get a good distance ahead, they were still pulling the Leaf members threw the forest of course. It would give them some edge and leave the caravan unprotected of course. It would keep both sides busy, the man jumped from tree to tree with ease, as he came to a cross road he allowed himself to gesture with his hands.

Summoning up the ability that he had, instantly clones came instantly to his side, as they split off in three different directions, this was the last attempt before a fight would take place, it was clear that right now this was the shake down so to speak that was needed. The other one was already gone, it seemed that given the time that was needed they had managed to slip into the forest and completely dissipate. Out of view and out of sight, of course this meant now there was only one left. Their main objective clearly had come to tatters and was now in ruins.

Simply put they were now improvising the work load making sure that there was more than one target to get away from. Instantly the chase would be on, it would be interesting to see if the Leaf Shinobi was able to keep up with the work load that was ahead of them. Back at the caravan the convoy was now moving once more, their trip was almost half over as they considered the distance. While the guards walked around in a closed circle with the caravan it was a careful march but meaningful wanting to get them out of danger and back to the welcoming sights of the gates.

It was clear that this guard detail was now on high alert with talking coming to a minimum only to shout orders or give directions. They moved with purpose now, and it was nearly coming to the end of this long journey. It would soon be over for the convoy but of course the princess was still shouting in the back ground. She could be heard with each movement the cart made it was clear that she wanted to get her own way.

“I WANT TO BE THERE NOW, HURRY UP THIS IS TAKING TO LONG!!!”

The voice threw the caravan managed to ring round the ears of every single guard that was close to them. It was clear the journey had now taken its toll on all of them and they had come to the end of the mile that would be considered the most dangerous part. The captain of the guard voice managed to come through loud and clear in that split second as he communicated with his men.

“Rally together, we are nearly at the home straight, one last push and we will be out of this hell hole. Forget the foreign ones and come back and protect the caravan”

[OOC:]

Dirt, wind, wood, leaves all the elements disrupting Reoku's chance as he was plagued with the task of pursuing the shinobi into the woods, looking abroad Reoku felt the need to slowdown and catch his bearings as he could of drifted to far back, and instead pushed himself double speed to engage the other shinobi if he was still engaging Yeong... racing at the top speed he could muster Reoku make pace with what his stamina would provide while being mindful of his surroundings as a minor slip up could put him in a situation he would rather not be in.

==[Clone]
Meanwhile at the caravan, Reoku's clone was walking at a steady pace trying to keep himself one step ahead of the caravan as they started to tread of familiar ground, looking at Yeong Reoku said "Its the final stretch, seems we are going to get the job done in no time..." he could of jinx'd it, maybe not but Reoku was a creature of fate.

==[Reoku]
Being observant of the surroundings Reoku traced his steps back to the roadway where the two soldiers were engaged and started looking for clues as to direction of travel and speed, it was at this time that he started to notice trends, like the way the two rogue shinobi attacked, lightning and fire... 'Long range specialists? no.. they could of been closer just we never noticed... they did set a trap to get the party to stop moving, so they likely didnt want a moving target...' then it dawned on him 'Are they genin ranked? no they took out those two guards and gave me the slip.. they have talents... if only I could of tracked them down.' checking his map of the road, Reoku spotted a shortcut that would save him a few minutes and catch up, he was surely fast enough to catch up before the gates, it was a matter of luck.

==[Clone]
Taking this time to take precautions, Reoku jumped into the nearby trees and and made an attempt to circle the caravan and maintaining a upper vantage point as his eyes were needed here, going on the radio Reoku messaged Yeong "The real me will be here soon, lets stay vigilant, they might have further traps ahead."

'Damn it, they got the jump on us, but not again.. not me, this time we fight it out.' Reoku thought as the guardsmen made pace to continue they're march to the gates.

==[Reoku]
Taking the time to check for tracks without stopping, Reoku tried to see if the caravan was being followed along the road, anything that stood out, anything that unusual to the terrain, broken branches, leaves bent, scuff marks, anything that would entail a list of say how many pursuers and how equipped, 'Now if they had others helping them, there is a good chance they might have back up and this was just a diversion, hopefully I can get the jump on them, and catch one of them...'

1. [If there was Tracks and attacked]==RP
There was a track, two maybe three, there was no way to know just how many of them were there, the terrain was too broken up to get a solid idea on how many were involved, or these tracks were just the two earlier preparation, either way Reoku was going to not waste time and get the drop on these attackers before any more life would be taken.

"Yeong, if you can hear me, there is more of them... they've been following you from the attack, I am going to be there shortly, just hang on" Reoku said as he had a slight tone of panic in his voice, he knew they if he lost a team member on his first mission he could lose his ability to lead a team or worse be demoted.

'Not this time, not this time, not this time..' Reoku kept repeating in his head as he felt the pressure of what was to come, this was no simple feat, if he was late for even a second, people could die... this was going to fall to his clone and Yeong.

Seeing the roadway, Reoku's clone went into high alert mode and prepared for the engagement, taking notice to everything from the change in the wind, to even the nature of the tree themselves... he may of been a clone, but he was still Reoku.

"Prepare yourself men, Yeong we are going to be attacked... Defend yourselves." Weaving signs for a 'Fireball - Rank 1' in preparation Reoku's clone prepared to fight at top strength.

2. [If there was no tracks, but still attacked]==RP

Making a leisurely pace that was again comfortable to acquire Reoku did not push himself and conserved his stamina, knowing he was not far behind there was no immediate danger to the princess and her caravan, but Reoku's clone was still with the group, he could defend it until Reoku's main body returned to the group.

"Yeong its Reoku, I am not far behind, I found a shortcut that will get me there in just a bit." Reoku said on comms as he knew there was a good chance that they could be attacked again, but there was no means to tell whether it was a goose chase of not, fact of the matter was Reoku did his best for what it was worth.

==[Clone]
Reoku's clone circling above still remained in high alert but was relaxed when the message came over comms that the real Reoku was not far behind, looking ahead Reoku knew the gates were close enough to feel safe, but just close enough to drop his guard long enough for a 2nd attack. 'I hope this is it, I really dont need this.. my life has enough complications.' Reoku thought as he leap from tree top to tree top.
[Actions]
Reoku's Clone is actively scanning area for anything amiss from above
Reoku's Main Attempting to rejoin caravan ASAP

3. [No Tracks or Attack on Caravan]==RP
After getting back on the road, Reoku raced along the road skipping the shortcuts and followed the caravans tracks as he had a good idea on direction of travel, looking at the space between steps Reoku doubled his efforts to catch up with the princess and Yeong, it was only a small trip left until they were at the gates.

Arriving at the caravan, Reoku disbanded his clone, and looked at Yeong as he landed nearby, "It would seem they got the slip on me, crafty buggers they were, either way we will be lucky if we see them again... maybe on another mission." Reoku said as he stretched his arms out and started walking conservatively as he let his guard down in this moment as there was not much further to go.

It seemed that the mission was coming to an end, the wagon now drawing in site of the village gates and the escort duty completed as the whining of the princess continued in the distance it was clear that though they had fallen into trouble during parts of it the mission had been completed during the time that it was carried out. Fighting at some parts but most of it had been one of those boring missions, this was simply because it was required of the village. This mission was to be completed by the village and it seemed they had done their job well.

“Thank you, members of leaf, this mission is considered completed by the village, we will put in the request to make sure that you are rewarded for your work, while we are processed at the gates would you mind checking in with your fellow and making sure that everything is ok. He seems to have been gone a while, we can at least be making sure we get through the gates. Of course, this way will make sure that are ok on our side. Though saying that the princess would like to personally thank you for taking the time to escort us threw the country”

The man that was the head guard turned around to the other men. It seemed that they were more than happy to proceed to the gates at this point, the paper work already being prepared to be handed to the person that met the group at the gates. They would be the first point of call and would be the ones that should be allowing them inside of the gates and into the village. This would mean that they were finally at the end of a very long road at that point.

“ARE WE FINALLY HERE YET, I WANNA GET THERE NOW!”

“We have arrived and are currently are processing the application to enter the village it shouldn’t take too long now to be completed, once we are allowed in we can begin to do the talk that is required for us to get the trade agreements done. In the mean time we request your silence for a bit longer on this matter, as we need to make sure we are granted into the village and then under their protection before you can come out. I apologize for the wait but we are nearly done.”

The process was completed quickly. At the same time the Ninja that had attacked had already escaped into the clearing. Already gone into the distance and out of the way. They had made sure that no trail would be found and no evidence of their arrival had been around in the distance future. They made sure that they had cleared the area, as the caravan had gone through the mission had been failed at that point. Unable to keep up with the trail and hunted out of the area they knew they had to return with the news of the failure that had taken place.
