Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A fresh trail of crimson drops littered the forest ground, the scent of iron was heavy in the air. The dampness from the heavy rainfall was still clinging to the leaves and bushes like a child clinging to their mother in a moment of need. The forest was silent this day, the local wildlife was either hiding or already deserted their homes and fled to the hillsides.

The sun was just now cresting over the dark, craggy mountains that stood in the distance. A brilliant shimmer reflected across landscape below giving way to another beautiful day. But not all things were right and well within the world, no. These countries were in disarray, war, strife and chaos enveloped the world. Point in case, we can look to none other than Shinku, Kaen, the Flame Court hybrid of Sunagakure, also known as the village hidden in the sand. While it was not his homeland, he called it as such. It could go without saying that he held allegiance to this village, and often performed various missions for the good of the order, or perhaps because his Sennin told him to.

The Land of Claws was far from home, but Kaen was tasked to infiltrate a possible hideout for insurgents that had been terrorizing the countryside. While this was not unheard of, or surprising, during these difficult times of war it only added to the growing disorder and turmoil that has befallen Wind Country. Swarms of Unbent ran unchecked and unbound across the countryside. Thousands have fled as refugees to the open gates of Suna, even more so have been lost to the nearly uncontrollable horde that is crawling across the world like a virulent infection.

Clutching his sides, an open wound gushed with every heartbeat. While his mission was a success, so to speak, Kaen did not make it out unscathed. Guns were a ridiculous invention that mucked up the battlefield. A cowardly option that Kaen was slowly learning to despise. But none the less, however gutless the tactic was, Kaen had managed to sustain a possibly grave injury. He was no medic by any means, and his chakra seemed to be failing him. His body felt weak, perhaps their ammo had a strong poison covering it, or it could be something else he was unaware of. Whatever it was it was ruining the red-head's day. In this state he would be of no help if something, or someone were to come by. For now he could only wait, and rest under a very large trunk. It's long, stout figure would provide ample shade from the sun. He would bide his time until a solution was discovered.
