Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shenron considers herself to be a noble and honorable mare and she looked the part. She is a dragonsteed, a name given due to her unusual tail and ability to breathe fire. Golden plated armor cover her white fur like a knight in shining armor. Her mane was a mix of blue and orange and her eyes a crimson red. Pegasus wings adorn her back folded as she walks towards the shrine. The clop of her hooves echoed across the floor followed by the clanking of her armor. The flagrance of roses lingers around her like an aura of freshness. Though she has a rough and tough appearance, she is still a woman; she cares about how she looks and smells. She has a strong desire to protect and serve, however joining the Anbu would not be an option. One of the major parts of being an anbu is anonymousness: each member has there own little code name. However do to her equine form, she would be recognized on the spot regardless if she was wearing a mask. Despite this she still what’s to help; there must be something she can do as a member of the main branch. Shenron looks around for an Anbu or guardian so that she may converse.

To claim that the male was mentally prepared to be greeted by such a majestic creature, appearance wise, was quite an understatement. The Nara would take the pleasure of stretching the limbs of the normally unused, the fellow based off his closest companion. Never the least his figure would seem to flicker into existence from the entrance of the Shrine of Gods.

For the time being the ANBU would remain silent, attempting to search through his memories for any sign of explanation as to why such a creature would appear. Unfortunately there wasn’t much to detail this encounter off of, for as far as he knew, there was no such summon out of the few he encountered on his journeys. The only sort of explanation would be modifications due to research; as it was difficult to determine anything further from his current distance.

Soon enough the male would have his position noticed, a mere cough would be enough to signify. There wasn’t an ounce of fear as he approached closer, his form halting short of the mare. From this distance he would begin to silently and carefully examine the creature to further to entail to what he had the pleasure of specifically greeting. From beneath his mask, one of his tundra eyes would begin to twirl about, searching the area for signs of anything out of the ordinary.

“Greetings!” he states politely, cheerful, despite the mask covering his features one would be able to tell a grin hid beneath. “Do tell me, are you perhaps a messenger? If so, then you are one of the more interesting.” he comments while waiting for anything further to be given or addressed. Under normal circumstances, the male would have been far stricter, but this wasn’t a situation which required any additional exaggerations.

On a further note, the scent of roses would begin to flood the air around him.

The Anbu were also creatures of shadow and do seem to like to appear out of nowhere, thus giving them an almost omnipresent feel about them; you never know if they are watching. However perhaps this was a bloodline trait on his part. As he looks for things out of the ordinary, he would find only her. When the male made his presents known, Shenron would turn to face him. She was glad to see the animal mask which the man bore for it means he is one of which she seeks. The man asks her an unusual question, but she should have figured someone would come to that conclusion. Though, the fact that he was asking her in the first place was somewhat odd. Villagers tend to think her and her companions are mere dumb animals until proven otherwise. However a messenger would likely have some level intelligence to give a form of response to the question; they are trained animals after all. Shenron politely bow her head, “greetings.” When she raises her head again she pauses for a moment to see his reaction to her ability to talk. “I am honored that would consider me something of interest, but I am afraid you are mistaken. Messenger I am not, but I do wish to converse if you will hear me out.” Shenron knows the Anbu life is a busy one and is willing to wait for another if this one does not have the time to talk.

Perhaps to the dismay of Shenron, the male wouldn’t be phased by the events unfolding before him. The ANBU had a personal summon and the communication between the two occurred when necessary; however this would mean that this creature was in fact a summon – or at the very least a genetically modified beast. “You have my attention.” he comments in a tone full of warmth. Nonchalantly the male would gesture towards a bit more comfortable location; merely to the left upon an odd patch of gentle turf.

Of course he would not settle into sitting, but would carefully examine the creature before him; he wasn’t quite sold on the fact that this was a technique being utilized by another. The location was difficult to determine, though he would continue to ponder upon such items; it wasn’t often he was allowed to be humored. “What do I have the honor of aiding you with?” he offers before taking one final glance over the armor.

A single eye, masked beneath the porcelain, would continue to spiral leisurely, transpiring into another – tapping into another one of his others. “I apologize, I do not have much to offer you in terms of a beverage.” he jests before growing serious – assuming their conversation would be of a non-light topic. In either event, he was building up a bit more interest as the grains of time continued to drip through the hourglass. A pause, "Would you be willing to tell me a bit about yourself?" another pause, "Once I listen to what you wish to say - of course." a thin smile could be heard growing beneath the mask.

Thus far, life in these particular lands were proving to be truthful to a single important aspect he sought after, amusement. Fortunately, that wasn't the main objective.

Shenron walks over to the patch of turf the Anbu invited her to. She takes a seat and welcomes him to do the same. “No need for apologies. There no need to fuss over such necessities on me.” She smiled a little glad that someone would even think to offer her a drink. She is used to people looking down at her; in more than one way, it is nice to be treated so kindly. “My name is Shenron and I am what is called a dragonsteed.” She looks to the ground with a sad expression on her face; like a person that has done something wrong and feels guilty for it. “I am ashamed that my creation was brought through less than honorable means. I wish to redeem myself.” She then looks at the anbu with pleading eyes. “Please, I no me joining the Anbu would be out of the question, but there must be something I can do to help protect this village. Something that will help me reclaim my honor.” Shenron was not sure if this man would understand her troubles. Does honor even mean anything in a village of ninjas? Regardless she pleas to him for help and is willing to do what is necessary.

The male would grow silent, allowing for the unique individual before him to speak. To be perfectly honest, the spiraling tundra orb would continue to scan the area. For the moment his explanation as towards the appearance was narrowing down quite rapidly. Currently it stood between through a series of three; the first being this individual a mixture between contract species – unless he was unaware of an existing, which was probable. Secondly, being that of one in a transformation technique or genjutsu, which he would begin to examine thoroughly.

Finally, the third, being that of a user controlling a corpse or form from quite a direction; due to the fact the terminology of Dragonsteed utmost improbable.

“Nothing is ever out of the question.” he comments, a single hand rising upwards, “As a general rule of thumb, with restrictions applying depending on the scenario.” he further iterates with a faint laugh. Perhaps this particular other wasn’t suited to ANBU duties due to the emotions placed. “There is always an item one can perform for the village.” he continues gently.

From this point it was difficult to proceed, for to comment one to watch the gates was a risk in itself; as this was quite a dangerous task. To keep it simple, for this is the exact item he was under the impression the individual before him was after, “Ensuring that the younger generation has a place to continue to live, raising them with the rest of the village.” he comments in a hearty-tone. Truthfully, the male wasn’t as cheery as his demeanor gave off, this was a special case. Under normal circumstances he would be performing more critical items for the village as a whole.

“If you seek an hour, the greatest honor is aiding the young grow, passing down all the knowledge you can.” he nods before allowing for the other to speak. At least, that was his opinion for the time being.

As he examines her for sighs of transformation or illusion, he would see a very lifelike creature. Her white coat was short and fine. Her mane was lush and well kept; it may raise once curiosity to figure out who brushes her hair. Her wings were feathery with a small mixture of fur within them. Her armor was polished though there were some nicks and dents. She inhaled and exhaled and her breast plate moved slightly with each breath. She begins to take deep breathes as she feels a sneeze coming on. Her crimson eyes close and nose wrinkle and then with a sudden exhale she shoots out a small violet flame from her mouth. The flame did not extend far; only a few inches away from her muzzle. However the color of the fire might intrigue considering it’s an unusual shade for a flame. “Oh, excuse me.” Her ears then perked as he gives her a suggestion of what she can do. She likes the suggestion for it is something she can do easily. “Yes, yes I believe that is a great idea.” Shenron stands up ready to start at once but then looks at the anbu. “Earlier you asked me to tell you about myself. What is it you wish to know about me?” Though she does feel grateful for his help, there are still some question even now she would refuse to answer.

The male would merely observe the flames, leaning a tad bit further backwards than necessary; however one surely could not fault him for such an action. Never the least he would wave his hand idly, “Not to worry.” he comments gently, vibrant and full of warmth. Fortunately the ANBU had had borne witness to similarities with flame technique specialists. On a brighter note, it was pleasant to observe the steed willing to welcome the idea of aiding the youngsters within the village.

“You stated earlier within our conversation that you were a Dragonsteed, unfortunately I have never seen one prior to yourself.” he begins to wave his hand, gesturing towards Shenron. There wasn’t a hint of malice within his vocals, only a kind tone – a bit of curiosity. “Can you explain where you have arrived from?” he addresses with a faint chuckle.

At this stage his narrowing left very little options. For the time being, he would cease this thought, allowing it to drift into the back of his mind. His full attention would be given, the ANBU leaning forward to signify such an item. Oh, it didn’t occur to him, but he found himself perching upon an oddly shapen stone, large enough for him to perch on top of, of course.

This was not a question she was expecting and she was not sure why. Why would not someone ask such a question? Shenron felt a little caught off guard for he went straight to a question she was not really that willing to answer. As she stated before, she was created through less then honorable means. “Oh, you wish to know of the shame that I bare.” She was starting to wish she simply left but the question was asked and he did help her out. She fell silent contemplating her words. Does she tell him? It is such a long story and would likely draw up more questions. However is hiding stuff from the Anbu so blatantly wise? Doesn’t he deserve some answer? “I am a part of a horse contract, which unfortunately there was a dispute over overlordship. I was created as a soldier to a civil war.” If Sho use his Rinnegan he would see that she is indeed artificial, but it was still hard to say what exactly she was. “Please I rather not go into detail. It is a painful topic”

Once more the reference towards a contract containing steeds was being tossed about; his knowledge of the sets he knew of plaguing against one another. It was difficult to determine if this particular individual spoke of the truth, merely due to the fact it was plausible that such an entity existed. Never the least he had determined artificiality and that was more than enough to cause further sparks of inner thoughts to roar into existence.

The male would ensure to keep an eye on this one, rather would reveal the details to his own summon at a later date; this would only confirm the remaining options. If this were to turnabout against Shenron, then the appropriate actions would ensue; rather he would investigate where need be when the allocated time presented itself to him.

“Not to worry, I wouldn’t ask you to go into further detail.” he assures his companion. Truthfully, he didn’t inquire of such detail, but he wouldn’t halt the one before him to silence.

On that note, the reply had been given and the one before him had taken to his advice, rather struck him as pleased, with the advice of protecting and/or aiding the younger generation. “You’ll have to forgive me, but I have a few other matters to attend to.” a light pause as he stands fully, “If you wish to continue our conversation, merely come back to this exact spot.” he nods before turning about, staring upwards against the Shrine of the Gods. “It was a pleasure to meet you, I hope to see you taking my advice to heart.” he reiterates before waiting for Shenron’s departure; unless an additional item were to be stated between them.

Summon or the fine tinkering of another? His two only choices left, which would be addressed to another as his mission was of the utmost precedence.
