Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kazuma awoke from a feverish dream, covered in sweat, it haunted him with the continued images of his family and the mysterious blond man who leads them. An aching burning pain on his back , coming from his brand, with his eyes still shut and cringing from the pain. He reached over to take his pain medicine he had been given by a family doctor, "Two in the morning and two at night" he remembers the doctor asking of him, but this bottle had had been misplaced "Damn it" not something entirely uncommon for Kazuma to do but he didnt have time to sit around. The young man quickly arose into the shower, letting the cool water clean away the sweat his body has worked up, soothing the pain in his back as the cool water ran over him. The mental toll of these dreams over the past six years had definitely taken its toll, the small voice in the back of his head had begun to get louder and louder in the past weeks as the visions increased in intensity but this method has always been Kazumas method to "unwind" every morning. He had experienced almost two seperate life times in this short time which he often reflected upon, could these things he saw every night be a memory of days past or what is to come? Maybe just his mind playing tricks on him he thought to himself as he stepped out of the shower and prepared for the day. Today was the first day of the rest of his life, his parents had told him, Academy registration day.

His parents had been awaiting this day ever since he can remember, his family where simple delivery people but aimed their sights high for their son. He quickly arose and greeted his parents, his clothing already laid out for him by his mother on his bed with a small note on the door.
"Good luck today, We had to make a quick delivery, see you when you get home. Love, Mom"

Kazuma had a smile on his face as he took the note and turned around, a small map was found with the path to take to the academy and he stepped outside. It was a hot summer day in the cronopolis but when he arose there was an over cast, not that he would of noticed given the shadow casted by the large buildings throughout the city. He took a look around and once outside noticed a large cart, and sitting inside: a small man, not much taller they Kazuma slouched over his cane,

instructing another man where to place the boxes. The other man was the complete opposite of the old man; young , strong, built like a mountain, and almost as tall as one. The old man smiled and waved towards Kazuma and he smiled kindly in return, waving at his new neighbors. As he stepped out he noticed his brand started to itch intensely, much like he felt during his dreams.

Not paying much attention to it he continued onto the academy using a map his family had provided for him, his parents where a bit over protective so Kazuma did not get out much, so the city was mostly unknown to him. Lost in his way while looking down at his map he noticed a small path which cut right threw to the academy, it wasn't labeled for him but a shortcuts a shortcut right? He continued down carefully, being vigilant of the crowd around him, beggars keeping shelter from the heat of the day as well as those who called this alley his home. The young boy could smell the decay and alcohol in the air as he walked through, just then he noticed then a small man in a black robe on the floor his sleeves running down his arms covering his hands. He heard the old man ask for help getting up as people passed but was ignored. Kazuma takes a deep sigh "This is what this city has come to?"Kazuma, unable to pass up this opportunity to help reached over and extended his hand to the old man to help him up. The old mans eyes lit up as he reached into kazumas hand, taking it firmly, his grip that of a man much younger then he seemed. While almost halfway up a gust of wind blew into the mans sleeve, exposing what was inside, an array of centipedes..crawling towards kazumas hand but before he could pull it back one of the centipedes had bit him. A deep wound on his hand as the old man grew a crazed look on his face and quickly ran off with great speed. Before he could give chase or even figure out what was going on, he began to grow faint, stumbling like a drunkard in the alley before collapsing onto a pile of garbage.

He awakes with a black bag over his head, and hands tied behind a chair he is sitting in. The young boy tries to scream out but it seems like he is paralyzed, the toxin from the bug maybe? Tears running down his face as he feels a hand placed on his head firmly, grabbing his skull. He feels as if someone is toying with his brand, like something was breaking out from the inside. Just then he hears an old mans Voice "Found him...prepare for extraction" Kazuma is in a panic, the voice sounds familiar but he cant make sense of what was going on, but before he can do anything he passes out in the chair from the pain.

The old man turned his head as Kazuma began his trek to the academy. His eyes opened, and his orange gaze stayed fixated in the direction Kazuma had left. He placed a hand to his left ear and spoke in a raspy voice. "Target is approaching destination 547. Personality analysis dictates he will attempt a shortcut. Look for a chance to get in position. If unsuccessful, radio new location." Not wanting to draw attention, the elderly gentleman faded into the shadows.

The old man reappeared in a black room, with only a single Searchlight to illuminate the darkness. The man placed a hand on the boy's covered head, while the other pressed firmly against the boy's branded shoulder blade. Sending a small inkling of chakra into the boy's body, the man searched for not Kazuma's chakra signature, but another's. A sharp jolt caused the old man's hand to pull back. He was there, the Yamanaka... The old man took a step back. "Found him...prepare for extraction." A puff of smoke surrounded the man, and soon a woman in her thirties stood in his place.

Mochizuki Sonoko

The woman, now revealed to be Mochizuki Sonoko, could sense that Kazuma had passed out due to pain. Her melancholy expression gave away her despair at seeing such a young child suffer. Removing the black bag from the boy's head, Sonoko casts a Body Bind on him, to ensure that he could not unconsciously writhe while she followed through with her mission. She looked to the men in the room. The Aburame who had assisted in the capture of Kazuma leaned against the wall, showing he believed he had finished his part of the mission. The doctor who had been treating the boy for his 'night terrors', was actually a medical ninja who knew all along of the boy's unusual condition. Two other medical shinobi were there, ready to assist should it be required. Sonoko's gaze held on the doctor. "Are you sure you wish me to do this?" The man nodded. "Your ANBU training will help you suppress the mental attack that is sure to come. We will analyze you throughout the extraction." The woman nodded and placed her hands again on the boy's head and brand. "I am sorry child. May this hurt me more than it hurts you."

Sonoko's chakra leaked into the boy as it sought out its target, a Yamanaka who had invaded the mind of the boy from a young age. Though his body had died years ago, his mind had lived on within the child. The woman could feel something clawing at her brain, the Yamanaka no doubt. He grasped at memories, of her killing, of her comrades falling in battle. Sonoko's eyes glazed over as she hid her mind from the attacker, closing of the gateway that was her emotions. Focusing on the task at hand, she pushed more of her chakra through, letting it engulf the unwanted intruder in Kazuma's body. Her energy formed a cage around the entity, and she attempted to pull it from the boy's body. A voice from behind caused her ears to twitch. "The boy is going into shock, ripping out the target's mild will destroy the boy's. You must destroy it." Sonoko bit her lower lip as she imagined her crafted cage crushing the individual within. She could hear it, the scream of the Yamanaka as his soul was compress into nothingness.

Sonoko fell to her knees, beads of sweat trailing down her face. Her breathing was heavy, and the doctor pressed his healing hand upon her back. The two assistance tended to Kazuma. Recovering a bit of her strength, Sonoko spoke. "This is to be kept between us and the Sennin. No others are to know of what transpired today. The public doesn't need to know that the Yamanaka was almost revived." Everyone in the room gave a nod. "Bring him to the bed chamber. I will speak with him when he awakens." The Aburame came forward and lifted Kazuma's unconscious body from the chair, bringing him to the designated location.

Sonoko entered soon after, her breathing still a bit uneven. She took a seat against the wall and looked at the child before her. He had grown over the past few years, she still remembered his tiny body being carried away from the burning building. She had been watching him, but never allowed to interact with him. How would she explain it was her fault that he had suffered all these years? Would he forgive her for not extracting the Yamanaka sooner? Should she even tell him that the Sennin had figured out his parents treachery years ago? Her eyes fell to the floor as she wondered why Raiden would allow such things to happen to those so young.
