Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The samurai and his young master arrive at the building of some sort. From it's structure it appears to be a gateway to the pair, or perhaps defense post is more accurate. The male of the two hops off of his horse, searching for someone to aid him. "Stay here," he states to the young lady.

Kyojin Kuro stood at seven feet and weighed in at four hundred and fifty pounds. He wore a sand camouflage pattern heavy armor made of Takahashi fire-forged steel with matte-black transformation seals allowing it to switch from desert colors to pitch black dependent on Kuro’s vocal command or four tap sonic patterned code along his right thigh plate. Kyojin Kuro wore a matching belt and sheath around his waist where he had sheathed a pair of blade attachments for his battle gauntlets. Kyojin Kuro wore his battle pouch atop the belt it was a simple lizard leather pouch but easily camouflaged by rubbing it with sand or crushed stone if ever necessary just above his right hip. Kyojin Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his left armored thigh just atop his silk gi shorts. A convenient slot in the multi-folded steel of his left thigh armor allowed Kyojin Kuro full access to his items without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it. Securing his Takahashi forged battle guards and lower leggings were Kyojin Kuro’s enhanced runic terran sealed leather wraps for his hands, forearms, shins and feet. Kyojin Kuro had wrapped his armored tail around his belt making it appear that Kuro wore a belt of armor resembling hand-sized reinforced double blades. Kyojin Kuro wore his mane of silver hair in tight war braids in ancient ceremonial fashion making his oxen horns much more pronounced but also making him look like a serious battle veteran, massive chakra gems implanted into his flesh and endoskeletal structure stood out on the back of his hands as well as one in the center of his forehead at the crest of his skull. The chakra gem in his left hand was emerald green with a spiral of a star in its center, if you looked at it closely and long enough one could see where it interfaced with the flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. The chakra gem in his right hand was ruby red with a six point star in its center, this one also interfaced with his flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. In the center of his forehead was a massive sunstone. This is an extremely rare chakra gem that is occasionally found in the deep deserts after being unearthed by the giant sandwyrms. Only the strongest of people could lift them due to their density and this body had one implanted in its skull and interfacing with his brain. It was a unique feeling to say the least but the interface with the sunstone allowed Kuro to dramatically pulse chakra throughout this body which was one of the keys to his transformational capabilities. It also allowed him to control his metabolic rate at a degree he had never believed was possible. His dark flesh was runed with runic terran seals and tattoos. His horns looked as if they were part of his armor along with his gems but the discerning eye would know that they were part of this giant's body. He smiled and greeted everyone as they approached.

"Welcome to the Toraono Dojo, how may we help you?"<i></i>

A figure beings to approach the travelers. To meet this person, Shoma proceeds forward, removing the mask from his on duty uniform which consists of a traditional black ninja outfit with a matching set of red shin guards, knee pads, wrist guards and pauldrons. Aside from the red over black attire, a blue hair ribbon tied to a 5 foot sword can be seen. To the fortune of the swordsman, there did not seem to be much wind so far.

As he nears the stranger, Shoma's steps slow. He takes in a bizarre sight while shielding his eyes. Clarity leading towards normality did not come the shinobi of Stone, for what now stands before him did not seem possible. 'A mirage surely.' What Shoma starts to reason as being an false image begins to speak, leading the Shoma to wonder if those who undergo the experience of a mirage have their ears lie to them as well. 'No, deities do exist,' the swordsman decides, thinking back to his encounter with the forest giant.

It takes slightly a little longer that a awkward silence for Shoma to respond to the being's request of service, for he wonders if this being too approaches him from a call of fate or destiny of great potential. Shoma slowly raises his hands to his chest, presses a fist into a widely open palm, moves the two touching hands to his left hip, and bows in greeting whilst never removing his eyes from the creature. Upon rising, "I, Otandai Shoma, shinobi of the Village Hidden in the Stone, seek the Village Hidden in the Sands. I have a matter of great urgency, for which I seek the authority of security," is what he states. But Shoma feels much need to address the obvious elephant in the room,... nay, man-tiger thing in the desert as well. "But I must ask, and forgive my inability to better phrase this, as well as my ignorance,... but what manner of being are you?"

Kyojin Kuro bowed in response then stood as well, "I am one of Suna's Guardians of demonic descent but please... have no fear, I will protect you like I would any other citizen of Sunagakure. I trust you have a passport, but if you do not, we have ways to allow visitation without one. Food, water and lodging are available here and if needed training as well. If you are ready we can proceed through the steps to grant you proper entry after getting you out of the sun."
The ogre like being smiled genuinely allowing Shoma to see he was simply a well armored and very well muscled being, not a god, not even close, more akin to a noble devilbeast than anything else.

The man-beast speaks further, of his traits, position and purpose there. Shoma offers a nod and goes back to the horses, guiding them both to the Guardian of Toraono Dojo. "Still yourself Master Ava, but fear not, for no harm shall come to you," Shoma whispers to the young lady along the way. Shoma then reaches into one of his horse's bags to take out a passport and steps forward to the devilkin to present it. Meanwhile, Ava on horseback shows much lack in capacity to hide her fear. The pace of her heartbeat rapidly grows the longer the supernatural being stays in sight.

"I offer you the permission granted to me by my superiors to travel here. Should the offer still stand, we welcome your hospitality and are thankful for it Guardian." Shoma presents the woman on horseback with a hand and bow This is Master Masuda Ava, seventh descent of the Masuda family, a greatly honored line of samurai swordsmen within the Fire Country. The swordsman then straighten his stance to address the matter at hand while trying not to stare, "Are you aware of any non-registered ninja that may have come here?"

Kyojin Kuro stamped the passport with his chakra signature so that their access to Sunagakure would be recognized before replying. "None that I am currently aware of, our records for visitation are actually quite disorganized as of late as Suna expands. I could check, but with things being as they are it is almost certain that we have more than our fair share of non registered ninja about. Needless to say you will still be protected nonetheless, Lady Azame bears a degree of Samurai blood and she will not suffer harm to our guests so long as the Toraono Clan exists."<i></i> Turning to open the secondary entrance to the foyer so that they might have refreshments and their horse could be taken to an oasis set aside for steeds of all manners. With the entrance to Suna currently being the Toraono Dojo, Kuro was always swamped with excess duties.

Masuda Ava
FIG-MOE-5742_07.jpg

"Hmm, I see," nods the samurai before following the devil kin into the foyer. The swordsman helps the the teenager off of her horse and starts to walk forward. The youngest of the pair stares at the Guardian while staying behind her body guard, much like a shy child minus her hands being by her own side. She touches the arm of the her body guard and stops in place for a private talk not intented to be heard by the demon descendant.

Whispered...
What is that?

He is a guardian of this village. A descendant of those with demonic blood.

WHAT?! Then what are we doing following him into his den?

Do you fear that I can not protect you from him?

... Yes, I do.

... I am sorry I have dishonored you.

No, you still are the strongest man in the world in my eyes, but he is clearly not a man. He admits to share blood with those who have fed on our kind, but only because he can not hide his image. And now he invites us in, and we should enter without pause?

... He has shown us no desire to harm us. Reflect on you lessons, those from your grandfather. The wodo 'Dan.' Remain calm and brave, so that your judgements are rightly and clearly made with a sound mind.

... Okay, but if your wrong and I die from this first, hide your blade that I may kill you myself.

Hmhm, as you wish Master Ava.

Do not chuckle, this is not a joke. I will 'will' myself from the spirit realm to strangle the liAzameof you. Now... Let go.

The two then do what they can to catch up to the guardian in foyer. Shoma decides it best to acquire more knowledge on this Lady Azame. "This Lady Azame, will we be seeing her? What style does she use?

Passport stamped- Suna access granted...
Kyojin Kuro handed their passport back and logged them in the main register a rather large book assisted by a runic terran holo crystal. After taking a quick photo of their passport they were given a map to the areas known to be truly safe in Sunagakure as well as areas to avoid. The young lady spoke and Kyojin Kuro went to one knee and still managed a formal bow as he addressed her. "Lady Nobuku Toraono Azame is available at your request, she is the mother of our current clan leader and Mistress of the all the Houses within the Toraono Clan. As a weapons expert and trainer in the finer arts of weapon usage she can be found teaching advanced and beginner classes in the coliseum at the behest of her whims and or fancy. Would you like a class or would you prefer a personal appointment Mistress?"<i></i>

((In the Toraono Clan Mistress is the term for female masters))

(Please forgive the double post, as well as some of the grammar I was trying to correct but missed.)

Master Ava becomes more than a bit thrown off by the Guardian of the Gate. As the devil kin kneels to the young, she takes a quick step back before hearing him out. At the end of his statement he addresses Ava as a Mistress. The young master grows red a bit as she shifts her eyes from the one guardian to the next repeatedly. Clearing her throat, she begins"Umm, I not his... you know... we're not..." Shoma interjects to clarify, "Master Ava, I don't believe that was the intended meaning of the word Mistress." Ava reflexively turns her head away from the two males for a moment before turning back to the swordsman to respond, "Oh, um, good good, because you're just old... really old... not dirt old... more like hieroglyphic in a tomb kind of old." The swordsman doesn't grant a verbal response to this insult other than a sigh before turning to the decorated demon.

Retrieving his passport, he nods to the Guardian. "We don't wish to impose too much. Perhaps we may sit in and observe a lesson? But I must not stray too far from my purpose here. Shoma reaches into his outfit and pulls out a scroll and within, an image of a male is placed upon it. "Not long ago, a young adult male fleed our gates. He possessed an ability to bend space, reality, or time, which one I am not sure, but such an ability more than likely means he was shinobi trained. When requested to halt that he may go through the proper exit process, he acknowledged and denied this request. I'm here to inform the authorities of this village that if he is now a criminal and is not to be trusted and if seen, a shinobi of Stone should be contacted. He claimed to be heading to the Village Hidden in the Mist, but when I arrived there I found nothing but land choked of life by snow and ice. Are you the one I should entrust with this? he says.

Kyojin Kuro stands and addresses Shoma after looking perplexed at the young lady's thoughts on the word Mistress. It seemed she had taken it as a wordplay of a romantic or sensual banner. " I am indeed the one to notify about threats to any personnel or the village proper. A noticed will be sent out immediately. As for observation of a class session it is standard practice for observers and fans to rally in the coliseum after noon meal. Lady Azame would be more than able to provide a proper distraction then as she pars with her husband Toraono Kaibudo to keep their skills, teamwork, and combat emphasis up to par. If you are ready for a meal please follow me to our nearest kitchen and we will have prepared for you whatever we are capable of to help ease the stress of your travels."<i></i>

The Stone Shinobi nods and follows the Guardian with the little master tracing behind him. The two witness their horses being taken off to be tended to and begin to take in the scenery they were too preoccupied to enjoy. Shoma looks about the foyer and kitchen, wondering why they were getting such a grand and royal treatment. He is able to understand to desire to be polite and hospitable to guest, but the swordsman was taught to be more guarded. But he notices Ava's uneasiness, through her constant watch of her surrounding and focus on the Tiger-like Guardian. With a hand, Shoma gently guides her to his own side to whisper to her, "I understand your uneasiness, but as an heir to the Masuda name, do you think it wise to continue to return such a gesture with silence and distain?"

Ava considers the words of her bodyguard for a bit, mustering up courage to address to demon blooded one. "Guardian of the Sand, we thank you. May I request for us something cold and sweet for us? And does the Guardian have a name he would prefer to be called by?" Although she was able to push out words, the tone and body language still come out as if prey speaking to a predator.

Kyojin Kuro nodded to them before returning to getting something nice together for his guests...
"Guardian of the Sand, we thank you. May I request for us something cold and sweet for us? And does the Guardian have a name he would prefer to be called by?"
"Forgive me for not properly naming myself earlier, you may call me Kyojin. As for something cold and sweet, would you like to try some spiced honey ice cream? It is made from cinnamon, honey, and brown sugar from our desert's underground facilities and with thick hearty milk from Iron Country, we also have mint tea if ice cream is too much for you at the moment."<i></i> Kyojin Kuro stood between a large walk in refrigerated chamber and a large refrigerator as he waited to hear what they would choose, perhaps both would be adequate. As he waited Sunaku Sashi came in to report that Lady Azame was free to meet with the visiting samurai at any time. Sashi was pure Sunaku; she had golden skin that glowed with little flecks of gold as the sun caught the highlights of the baby fine hair upon her skin. She stood five feet nine inches. She weighed a reasonable, muscular, 160 pounds, and wielded sand like a person breathes air. Her thick lustrous silk like crimson hair, their eyebrows, eye lashes, and the high cheekbones of her face made her very exotic and prized amongst the Toraono Clan. Sashi’s eyes were a beautiful jade green, which was very rare among the Sunaku but not unheard of. She was perfectly proportioned for the skill of a warrior woman, her arms were lean and toned, and her legs were like that of an acrobat or a circus dancer, she carried a giant blade on her back and walked about in loose sand tone off white robes. As a medic and surgeon she was one of the best in all of Sunagakure.

Shoma smiles at Ava's efforts to be sociable and respect. She had spoken well for a youth who is spooked. All the bodyguard would expect from the young master was a solid effort, however Shoma wonders for a moment if she could ever get accustomed to seeing being outside of there race. But shortly after Ava makes the request of "Guardian Kyojin,... I would be greatful... if I had to opportunity to partake of the ice cream," a woman comes up to inform the one known as Kyojin of something. In the eyes of the swordsman, there was a possibility of a respectable warrior before him. However, Ava notices her bodyguard taking notice of the woman. She pauses for a moment, wondering what mischief she could start up for her instructor.

The Master did wonder if Shoma held any interest in women. Whether or not he knew it, Ava has made romantic suggestions, but it would seem that either Shoma didn't get the hint, or held no interest. She clears her throat silently and approaches the in woman's direction with a single step, "Excuse me,..." before moving closer and pretends to 'hide her words' from the swordsman and demon blood. "Lady... I mean Mistress... Lady Azame seems like an amazing woman. It is... unfortunate that she is already has a partner. As woman of the sword, I thought she might hold interest in meeting my instructor. Maybe there is another warrior woman of the sword that would like to meet him?" Inwardly she grins as she winks to the woman, hoping she can get under the skin of her guardian and hoping that have a question of her's answered. However, upon taking a quick look at him she finds that he isn't even facing them at all. Instead, Shoma seems more on patrol, looking about as if scanning in area. 'Did he hear me? I know he heard me,' she thinks.

Sashi bowed to the young lady before replying "I am certain he could have a match with any woman available in the Toraono Dojo but I must forewarn you as visitors that most underestimate the swordsmanship taught here because it was made for and by women. I myself can crush any male that dare faces me because I am an elemental swordsman and my blade does not just cut, it can crush as well. So before you offer your instructor to challenge any of us be sure he takes their measure first as we women of the Toraono Dojo take great pride in our chosen methods of battle."<i></i> Sashi had indeed acknowledged Shoma as she entered the chamber but one simply did not show up late to a meeting with Lady Azame unless you were under great distress.

Based on the woman's response, it seemed to Ava the woman didn't take kindly to her remark, nor did she get the hint. Perhaps the young master was poor at her desired craft of suggestion and persuasion. She nods and offers an apology. "Forgive me for I did not mean to offend. Shall we proceed as to not be late? By now she is a bit embarrassed, choosing silence until spoken to would be best. However, she did find interest in learning more about a style only women could use.

On the other hand, Shoma stepped much closer to Ava as the woman gave warning. Two things wonder through his mind at the moment. How could the elements be used in swordplay? And would Ava's tongue lead to the pair finding out the hard way? As they continue on toward the meeting with Lady Azame, Shoma begins to watch the woman, though not in the fashion that interested men watch women, but rather how guards watch a person of interest or suspect. He would however thank Ava in thought, for not needlessly promoting a fight, for far more could be learn from the side lines. Plus, Shoma and Ava were now effectively representing Stone, the Masuda bloodline, and the samurai of Fire Country, and Shoma thought it best not to display either these places as bloodthirsty brutes. This however did not quill his curiosity for the elemental sword. Could he defeat a foe who could with a ?sword? crush their foes?

Kyojin began to laugh as it seemed Shoma and Ava had misunderstood their words again... "Excuse me Guardian Shoma, and Mistress Ava... Here you go... Now to explain <i></i> ((passes them both ice cream while making sweet tea and light cakes for their visit with Lady Azame)) " I am sorry if our manner affronts you, here in Sunagakure a great deal of power is held by the women of our clan, they are the originators of our armed combat skills and the source of lineage for many warriors, swordsmen/swordswoman, and poets. Many of our women have a degree of Nobility to their bloodline and are called upon to end feuds sometimes in a dramatic display of battle. By our culture the women run the household and make the demands that we MEN must fulfill lest we lose our standing. Lady Sunaku Sashi was not meaning to challenge you she was simply pointing out that asking any woman of the Toraono to take him seriously is likely to start a test of skill that will determine whether he is worthy to be bedded. Many men of the Toraono Clan are taken in ritual combat as for lack of a better word breeding potential. In order to further the strength of a house strong and unique bloodline traits are ideal and highly sought after. So as she said if you offer your Guardian as an actual challenge he would most likely actively be scouted for his POTENTIAL. With that explained unless you would truly like to challenge one of our available sword-mistresses we have all that we currently need for a meeting with Lady Azame "<i></i> Carrying a large tray of snacks and beverages Kyojin Kuro was ready to escort them to the woman in charge. Sunaku Sashi nodded to Kyojin Kuro's explanation and bowed to the visitors.

The Guardian of Sand returns as the apology is made. The two begin to begin to consider the possibility of an hidden joke, for the Tiger Man laughs at them. They look at each other in confusion before the one known as Kyojin hands them sweet gifts and starts to explain. Ava immediately receives her treat during this and starts to lick it, however, her tongue would only touch two fingers belonging to the swordsman. Upon realization of this, the young girl gags and begin to scrap her fouled tongue. Shoma then dips the tip of his fingers into the Master's dessert before tasting it himself. The two then try to listen as Kyojin explains the misunderstanding.

The demon blood tells of a society rules by women. Ava takes in the details with interest, wondering she could partake of such a life and environment of royalty and high status. And if she were of this village and linage she imagines, she would seek to be the very best, and then she could effectively choose her mate,... or battle buddy as she starts to think of it. A smile appears on her face. Meanwhile, Shoma mental questions the concept of a female led society. They live with great range of emotions and often have given into them, in his sight, rather than taming them. He also ponders what would happen if someone of great ill intent and might to match found they're why into this ritual. Shoma understands that he didn't know much about their ways and laws, but sees that they believe that they are very secure.

At the end of the briefing into the mating ritual, the woman now identified as Sunaku Sashi approves Kyojin's words and bows to the two. Ava smirks as she as goes to taste her treat, but then pauses to first turn her back to the bodyguard who has started his already, before finally licking her ice cream. Shoma bows to the woman that states, "I think it best not to keep Mistress Azame in waiting. But maybe in the future, I might show worth in the teachings of Master Masuda." Ava smirks and looks at him ready to challenge the Stone Shinobi, "What's the matter? Do the talents of a woman concern you so, that you not take action now?" To this Shoma simply replies, "Remember 'Jie'." Ava simply crosses her arms to the black and red ninja.

Nestled along the dunes near a man made oasis is theToraono dojo an ancient stone building. It was a former coliseum converted by Toraono Kaibudo and his wife Lady Nobuku Azame into a specially domed dojo; a place of perpetual learning for the martial arts, and combat at its finest. One side was dedicated to weapons more specifically the sword but weapons nonetheless. The other side of the house was dedicated to unarmed combat. Every style taught was created and mastered by each instructor with a measure of finesse and power that was understandably overwhelming and set for bloodletting. The stone pillars upholding the building were set with skill, chakra, and care to promote maximum stability throughout the entire structure. The dome was added to promote an atmosphere and provide air conditioning in a round-about way through specially placed vents. The floors of were made of special marble in some areas other areas were be-speckled and set apart by floors coated with a special chakra controlled, sanitized, crimson sand that wouldn't infect a bloodied warrior covered in it. Weapons racks lined the walls of the weapons area, each cleaned, balanced, and set with meticulous care in traditional stands. On the northern side of the dojo were padded wraps and leggings, for martial arts training. The Toraono Clan Dojo once sat at just over thirty feet in height with an additional ten feet higher due to the dome, further additions made the dojo stand at fifty feet in height. The steps leading up to the main antechamber were an odd sand red marble, and an earth brown marble stained by bloodied sand. Six chambers were divided in shapes necessary to provide optimum training in various forms of combat. Two more additions had been made due to many of the children of the Toraono clan actually becoming full fledged ninja. These chambers were dedicated to ninjutsu and genjutsu. The ninjutsu chamber was in an underground cavern while the genjutsu chamber was in a calm hand dug bath chamber irrigated ever so slightly by the Oasis itself and heated by the sun.

The entire east wing of the Dojo and a portion of the coliseum itself were restructured from a small mountain. The massive amounts of natural earth chakra released by its formation helped to significantly repair the master seal that pervaded the underbelly of the dojo. The resulting work had caused many once sealed underground chambers to open beneath the Toraono Dojo, but the structure had a natural barrier to prevent further access to Sunagakure from the west and it also provided a new area to train for future students. Over two hundred chambers existed in the Toraono dojo and the general public only had access to fifty percent of that. The remaining rooms were specially sealed chambers for specific clan members affiliated with the dojo and their blood relatives. These chambers were built and sealed so that only they or a Toraono Clan master could enter them.

Lady Azame could enter any chamber or simply rearrange the structure of the dojo by will alone as she had imprinted the structure with her own energy under the tutelage of her cousin Sunaku Sashi. With that mastery and various seals she could look upon any visitor of the dojo as long as she sensed their general location. She sensed Shoma and Ava now as she opened the corridors leading to one of her sword kata chambers sensing the chakra of her son in one of his avatars escorting them. She would never quite get used to how he did that but that was the price of being the mother of monsterous but ever loving children.

She continued her training as she awaited her guests for the afternoon.

[Is it possible that I may be granted entrance and continue this rp? I would like to enter a few Cabal events.]

As the pair continues, Shoma scans his surrounding, logging into memory the placements of the ways he came. In addition, he searches for possible exits should an escape need to be made. Yet, he takes a moment to reassure the teen girl by tapping her shoulder with a fist and offering her a smile as if the say, 'Everything is alright.' Ava looks to Shoma and smiles before turning her attention to Kyojin. With curiosity she asks him as they walked, "Guardian Kyojin, did you always have the form and skin of a man-tiger?"

Upon reaching the chamber, the pair would behold another warrior woman. Out of respect, they would wait to be directed or addressed as to not interrupt her for they didn't know if this one was to person of interest.
