Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

I hate the forced Roleplay. It's completely *$#&$Y&%* to me.

Insight 2; With experience one will gain knowledge and with knowledge one will gain insight. Whether it is in the form of combat, or fishing, almost anyone who is skilled at their trade knows exactly what they’re doing. After years of training, in both combat and fishing actually, Kyoko had grown accustom to expecting the unexpected. Whether it be a surprise attack, or a gut feeling deep within her stomach, it was pretty obvious to her when she needed to be on guard. Most times it was silly; the moment before a fish bites her line. Others, well they weren't so trivial. She wasn't every really anyone to put faith in strangers, and she had just causes. She had learned from her past mistakes, and now does her very best to assure it never happens again. Taking advantage of that split second before an attack hit to miss, or other things of the kind, she has been recognized as someone with true insight.

Quick Reaction: Many people never learn how to take the proper opportunity to counter attack, but Kyoko wasn’t like them. She was different; her father would never let up on his attacks during their training, so she had to learn quickly. Whenever he missed, she countered; immediately following up before he could unleash another monstrous attack. With each day, her speed increased and she began to be able to hit him more accurately. Eventually, she stopped missing all together; this brief moment was becoming so familiar to her. Never letting it slip her by, she continued to train in the art of countering.

Quick Healer: So far, throughout her entire shinobi career, Kyoko has always the one helping her allies. When a medical ninja wasn’t present, she immediately took the role because of her natural affinity with Medical jutsu. This, in itself, left her with very little time to tend to her own wounds; however that was until she developed a way to increase her natural healing abilities through the flow of chakra. At first, it was like using a technique, which required a little bit of her focus, but with time her body began to adjust itself and heal at an increasing faster rate without her having to focus on it.

Quick Draw: In combat, one must always be prepared. What’s the next move? What’s gonna happen next? Sometimes you just don’t know, but that is where you must be quick. At this moment, drawing a weapon could be essential, and Kyoko recognized this from an early age. For years her father trained her to be able to draw a weapon, or kunai, at the blink of an eye. While at first she had no real interest in it, she soon learned exactly what it was important; it was a difference between even just milliseconds. Most Shinobi could attack within the blink of an eye, and being able to draw a blade faster than their attack meant she could possible survive. Practicing day in and day out, she eventually trained herself to be able to draw nearly any item with a blink of an eye.

I'm a bit OCD about making a post of mine look neat and orderly, and the size eighty five font helps meet my own standards. It's not really a choice, but more so a personal habit that's hard to break.
Benevolent Core ability: Abilities said:

Master Healing<i></i> - Passive (3 points)
Benevolents with this ability have fully mastered all aspects of healing and treating the wounds of others, making their healing jutsu that much more effective.
Effect: Medical jutsu are enhanced by 20%. This does not stack with Medical Knowledge.

Negative Energy<i></i> - Dependent Special Move (3 points)
Restrictions: C Rank and up
Benevolent people are generally kind-hearted and adverse to violence, but when pushed far enough, they can use their medical jutsu, which deeply affect the body and chakra system, to deadly effect.
Effect: The user may use Medical jutsu offensively for the same amount of damage.

Notes:
- Modded as an unarmed melee attack.
- This still retains Medical Buffs.
- This can only be used with Medical jutsu that heal.

Divine Mind<i></i> - Boost (1 point) X2 = 2 points spent
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
Mind over body, chakra over matter, and divinity over mortality. Benevolent fighters need to possess more fortitude than their fellows, in order to better aid them.
Effect: +2 to HP modifier.

Healing Aura<i></i> - Passive (2 points)
A Benevolent soothes and calms just by their very presence, all healing attempts strengthened in their wake. This peaceful aura is said to feel like a cool breeze while active.
Effect: All medical jutsu used while a Benevolent is present are increased in effectiveness by 10%. This does not apply to Negative Energy.

Sacred Guard<i></i> - Passive (3 points)
Something about a healer makes the forces of nature slightly less inclined to hurt them. This can often work in the Benevolent's favor, especially with their tendency to sacrifice their own health for their friends'.
Effect: The user takes 10% less damage from all elemental attacks.

Prevention<i></i> - Independent Special Move (3 points)
There is nothing so precious to a Benevolent as their beloved allies and friends. If they are hurting, the Benevolent will tend to them, and quickly, before they fall within the heat of battle.
Effect: Can heal allies below 10% max HP to 15% max HP as a free action for 3000 chakra. Can only be used on each ally once per battle, and may not be used if the ally is KO'd or Dead.

Patience<i></i> - Independent Special Move (2 points)
The Benevolent would rather sacrifice themselves than allow one of their team to fall in battle. Their own status is immaterial, so long as they are still able to protect their friends.
Effect: The user loans up to 10% of their max HP to an ally. Can only be used once per ally per battle.

Genesis<i></i> - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up) X 2 = 2 points spent
Restrictions: A-Rank and Up
The ultimate healing jutsu, this technique almost completely restores the target, making them practically good as new, though this is very exhausting for the user of this jutsu.
Rank 2: Heals for 75% max HP and removes all exhaustion, poisons and dodge, accuracy or stat debuffs caused by physical means (called shot, bleeding, etc). All genjutsu level 6 and below are rerolled with a +5 to resist. If used on self, only heals for 50% max HP and does not remove exhaustion.

Cost: 4500 chakra, 4AP, gives user +25 exhaustion.

Notes:
- Damage healed cannot be buffed in any way.
- This may not be used with Negative Energy or any other effects which would make it damage instead of heal.
- A target may only be healed by this jutsu once per battle.

Somewhere lost in fishing legends lays a legendary fishing net, rumored to weigh two tons, and to be made of pure thin netting made from valuable, almost indestructible, metals; thirty feet by thirty feet large. This net was rumored to be forged by the king of the seas himself; he was tired of his fishing nets being tangled, torn, and ripped by sea animals, and the depths of the ocean. Choosing the make his net of then, durable, metal, he soon learned how tiresome it was to toss this heavy net over the side of his boat and drag it back in, with thousands of pounds of fish wrapped up within it. As time passed, the fisherman realized the metal would react to his chakra, and lighten the weight of the net entirely. With the connection to his chakra, the net would only weigh about a hundred pounds, but once the connection was severed, its original weight would return.

However, this net only reacted to his chakra because of how much it consumed it, meaning chakra from anyone else would have no effect on the weapons mythical properties. Unfortunately, this fisherman would meet his match on the sea, and the net would eventually sink to the bottom of the ocean. A century later, the net would be recovered by Sude Sairasu in an unexpected turn of events. Sadly, he saw no need for the net and cast it to the side as if it were worthless. To him, something this heavy should have stayed at the bottom of the sea, but to Kyoko, it was something much more. After months of fidgeting with it, and trying to put all her strength into lifting this net, she soon noticed she was suddenly able to. She had not gotten so strong that she could life two tons, but she had unknowingly poured so much chakra into this net that the net itself began to accept her chakra as its new master. As more time passed, she learned that so long as she kept a constant connect between this net and herself, or chakra, she could manipulate its weight. But, as soon as she let go, its true weight would return crush whatever’s underneath it, while sucking its Chakra dry if it had any.

A sword in which was forged to do the exact opposite; it is said those who’re stabbed by this sword do not suffer. In fact, they are healed; pain is said to escape their body. Minor wounds heal on whoever meets the sharp end of this blade. This sword is apparently a gift in which a legendary Medical Shinobi of cloud left behind before he left on his great journey. This sword was found by Sairasu and given to Kyoko as a gift because he acknowledges her extreme natural healing abilities. In her hands, this sword has helped saved the lives of many of her comrades.

Adrenaline Rush: Adrenaline was something in which everyone possessed, however there were a select few who could control it at will. It wasn’t easy to learn this neat trick, but with time it came. At first, Kyoko stumbled across the idea from watching her father out on the fishing boats. Briefly, he’d be capable of doing things that even a normal Shinobi couldn’t do. With a rush of adrenaline, he was faster, strong, and through a lot quicker. She was envious. She wanted to learn how she could control her own adrenaline. Training to do so wasn’t very easy; most of the time the only way for her to even come close was to put herself in a dangerous situation. After months of training, she realized she could manipulate her body by installing a fake sense of fear and desperation through her breathing, and by tricking her own mind into believing she was in danger. As time passed, she had learned to control her adrenaline and cause it to rush through her veins whenever she needed it.

Human Anatomy: Being an expert at medical jutsu from birth, it was obvious that she would eventually learn more about the medical ninjutsu practices. Actually, it became somewhat of a hobby for her once she was off her father’s ship, and back home resting. Her days home would be filled with reading several medical books her father bought for her, and her nights would be spent testing herself. Occasionally, she’d go out into a field and practice on small animals. The way she’d throw her kunai, senbon, and shuriken would drastically change. She’d aim for the heart, throat, or lungs of her prey and with time, this would become normal for her in every aspect of fighting.

Transmit Life: Life as a stand in medical shinobi was hard; whilst out on missions, she had to get close up to her allies to heal them. Sometimes this was easier said than done, but something had to be done. Helping her allies was causing her to experience just as much pain, which made it difficult for her to do her job. After suffering some major injuries, she decided to go to the medical complex and speak with Medical Shinobi about her problems. Taking some training courses, and undergoing some proper training, she eventually learned how to caused her Medical jutsu using Ninjutsu accuracy and range.
