Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It wasn't the best job in the world to be tasked with having to clean up after someone else, but Jinmei didn't mind. It was an extra coin in his ragged pocket and that kept him going. The day was sweltering with such an intense heat that the young cub was only but cheerful that he wasn't wearing too many layers. Jinmei reached the assigned location, a small clearing near the Iwagakure academy that was often used as a training ground for young Genin to hone their skills. There was no reason why the Genin would leave all of their rubbish lying about, including: shuriken, broken swords and general litter. Although Jinmei was no stranger to litter, after all he lived in a landfill/dump - so he was expected to have a certain tolerance towards trash just lying about. You would think.

Approaching the clearing, Jinmei would squint his eyes and frown at the state of the place. Awkwardly placed trees were decimated by sharp star-shaped tools, broken swords lay chipped and defeated while wrappers and empty water bottles rolled around; pushed by the wind. He lived in a dump, but there was no reason to leave all of your mess just lying around for someone else to pick up. It would tell alot about the type of Genin that did this. Woefully, the cub armed himself with a see-through plastic bin bag and some thick, hide gloves to protect his hands from any foreign objects harming him.

He would slowly manoeuvre around the area, collecting the bottles and collecting the other food waste. The bag began to weight more and more, but he hadn't even started to get rid of the equipment. Albeit there was only two broken swords, and the majority of the mess was made up of shurkiens this job didn't seem too bad. Jinmei approached the one specific area were the swords and shurikens were, picking up the first sword he examined it was a curious eye; the chips in the blade were occurring quite regularly. He shrugged and collected the blades, holding them under one arm, while grasping onto the see-through bag full of food and rubbish waste. Jinmei left the clearing for a few moments, leaving the rubbish and damaged equipment in the appropriate place before jolting back to the, specifically, damaged tree that stood strong with tattoos of metal and rust in its body.

The cub would begin the pain staking process of removing all of the shuriken from the tree - which would go on to take at least three hours. He didn't have the strength to pull all of them out, so he had to work at the little devils but wiggling them and convincing them to leave their nested home. The next task was to take a large wood box, which he had already retrieved, and use it t collect the items. One by one he added the little metal stars into the wooden box until all but none was left.

Later that day, Jinmei was called back for another mission but this one was to do with a real Genin and not just his/her mess. The boy was excited to meet another shinobi, a fully fledged member of Iwa's force, but upon arrival was only greeted with a cold stare from an angry looking little boy who had an unpleasant case of freckles. His fire like eyes burned passionately as he looked at Jinmei, a smile creased onto his face, and then he spoke: "You're going to be my sparing partner for today. I know you probably don't know any techniques but I can't fight with a dummy, well, not a dummy stuffed with sand." Jinmei would look confused, too hesitant to ask what was really going on as the scroll only said that he had to help a Genin out with something. Well, it wasn't that vague, the cub was too tired after the litter picking and just didn't read the rest of what it had to say.

Without notice or preparation, the Genin shot off like a dart, his sandals clanking as he made his way forward. Jinmei didn't know what to do, he had never sparred before - suddenly he wished he had taken up one of his father's requests for a training session instead of one of his mother's baking sessions- boof! The fist of the Genin against Jinmei's face forced him down onto the ground, where it was almost as if the mission ended there. The force of the impact was much too strong for the 8 year old Academy Student, who had never taken a class yet, to take. The Genin stood over the cub as he struggled to hold back the pain, tears strolled and blood poured.

But the cub wasn't done there, no. He struggled for a good five minutes before shakily getting onto his feet and looking back at the Genin. Jinmei offered the angry little boy a smile before another punch to the face, followed by an upper-cut to the gut, and then a roundhouse kick to the side; throttling the boy a few meters to the left and into a nearby pond. Jinmei's body fell through the water slowly, blood trailing with his body like some kind of leash. The water was so fresh on his skin, it cleansed him of the dirt that lay embedded.

Jinmei's body was aching at this point and he had only been hit about five times. He struggled to return to the surface, but managed somehow, clenching onto the rim of the pond and lifting himself back up. The flabby body of the cub was an easy target, so easy to beat to a pulp, and this Genin really wasn't playing around; he really liked to feel stronger by beating up someone weaker than him. At least he was getting paid for it, Jinmei would think casually. The Genin approached the mass of flubber, and offer his hand to help the boy up, which made the cub smile and offer his hand too - but that was a silly mistake and the Genin took this opportune moment to punch Jinmei squarely in the face; knocking him unconscious.

The cub would be fine after a long nap by the pond, most people would be angry and feel that their ego had been bruised but not Jinmei. He had no ego that could be hurt.
