Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A merchant city, Soon's Haven, protected by ivory walls that subdue the furious wind conjured, choppy waters that batter against the said walls. The group consisting of Muji, Sadako and Koho had traveled over from the Sunagakure village to the merchant city. They entered through the arched gates and were met with a complimentary fragrance of spices, meats, and other exotics. After all, this was a merchant's haven and would be filled to the gullet with such marvels that wouldn't have been seen by either of the three. So entranced might they be, that for a moment, their objective would fizzle away into the nether realm. "We can head towards the Harbor and contract a ship to guide us across the waters to Kirigakure. And if they say no, well..." Koho left her sentence unfinished because everyone knew her brutish, uncaring alternative to something lawful.

It took a strange amount of time to reach the port, particularly as Koho, herself, had become gorge-full on the deals and offers on display. She had actually went so far as to purchase outfits for the three, often walking by a stall, taking an item and pressing it up against Muji and Sadako respectively. She wanted to make sure that her companions looked good, and of course, would have paid for the clothing herself. Which, to some, would seem weird given her blood-thirsty attitude most of the time, it was definitely odd to see her so lax and normal for once.

The trio arrived at the harbor, after a series of long steps that declined sharply, but were now met with a series of strong-looking ships. These ships had all seen bad storms but maintained great form, and looked quite fun. Fun in the sense that you could steal these boats quite easily. Koho would walk over to a randomly selected boat and wave down the captain. A scruffy looking man with no teeth, but a man who desired coin none-the-less, and would readily agreed to their offer to travel to Kirigakure. "Oh, golly gosh, you're so amazing, captain!" Koho would say, trying to butter up the scruffy man with compliments, in a hope that he would even get the group from a to b. Either that or she would have to commandeer the ship.

The 3rd would wait for the other two to board the ship.

Once on, the ship would leave with the three companions and a few crates of clothes. And of course, whatever items Muji and Sadako bought for themselves.

[Leaving country with Sadako and Muji]
[Runtime: I'm S-rank, Onamuji is S-rank and Iori is S-rank but he's using an NPC, which means that his runtime is treated as two ranks lower to a B-rank. We'll use the NPC runtime, so that's B-rank = 120 minutes (2 hours) + 1 additional hour = 3 hours to leave the Country after everyone has entered.]

Muji accompanied the pair of women, remaining silent most of the time. He was deep in thought, contemplating a great many things that ranged from the present to the future. There were things that needed his attention, and while he loved living in the present, it was in his genetics to look toward the future. The first Sage was a man who lived to change the world, and it was said that his sons were destined to be either a "God of Creation" or a "God of Destruction". It was up to them to fulfill their destiny and discover which they would be. It was a constant source of inner turmoil for the young Onamuji. He couldn't help but feel a bit conflicted. Which would he be? A god of creation, or a god of destruction?

As they entered the port city of Soon's Haven, Muji looked at all the strange faces as they passed. He enjoyed watching all the new and interesting people, seeing them move here and there, going about their daily lives. It was...calming, strangely enough.

He endured Koho's prodding and shopping, not as ecstatic about the idea as she was. There was a strange immunity to the joys of fashion and accessorizing in Muji. Likely because he was a man, and having the ability to inhabit multiple bodies made it all the more pointless to him. His black robes were his set outfit, changing his choice of clothing only when it was useful to do so. The idea of changing for fun escaped him, but...he let his red woman have her fun. He usually did.

As they wandered the city, they each interacted and shopped in their own ways, but Muji was more interested in the people. A little poor girl approached, obviously a little beggar child. She asked if he wanted to buy a bracelet she made for two yen. Muji felt pity, knowing all too well what it was like to be a child struggling to survive. Two yen was obviously a high price for a little bracelet made of braided cloth, but he gave her fifteen yen for the trinket.

"Keep it secret and don't spend it all at once. Spending a lot lets people know you have a lot...and that tells them you have a lot to steal. You don't want any of the other kids to hurt you and take your money, or you'll be a target for the rest of your life," he warned grimly, giving a pleasant smile. The girl had tears in her eyes, giving Muji's leg a hug before running off into the alley. The sage sighed at his own weak heart, placing the bracelet around his left wrist.

He would remain silent the rest of the way, simply watching their surroundings as they boarded a rather dirty ship with an even dirtier captain. As he saw the grungy man's toothless grin, the auburn-haired sage shuddered slightly. Koho would flirt and play nice, as was her way, but if she even considered giving the captain any sort of 'incentive', he wouldn't be able to touch her again. He wouldn't imagine her to do such a thing - or such a person - but the concern was instinctive. Sadako...well, Sadako could do whatever she wanted. Muji's ties to her were nothing but a thin string. Aside from maintaining her well-being, she was none of his concern.

Muji gave a polite bow to the captain before boarding and taking up a position near the side, ready to depart as soon as possible...

Sadako's eyes darted to and fro as the trio made their way through the market, a smile on her lips as her senses were caught up in the sights, sounds, and smells. It was rare for her to venture out into public like this mostly due to her nature of her work, not to mention her paranoiac tendencies which made her distrust people. A hand would rub the hilt of her weapon through her coat to make sure it was with her, keeping close to Koho as she sought to take hold of her hand and give it a squeeze. She would ignore the look passerby's gave her, those scars on her cheeks marring an otherwise lovely face, her smile seeming to stretch even farther than humanly possible because of them. She felt excited at being surrounded by so many potentials victims, all so happy and full of life, but no, she was here on business, and as instructed by Koho she would be on her best behavior. Speaking of which, it seemed that her sister had gotten distracted along the way, purchasing clothing for them, something she didn't argue against. She wasn't much for fashion but she would never turn down such a gift from her.

Soon they would be at the docks, Koho sweet talking their way on to the ship, and a rather filthy one at that. Not that she cared as she made her way onboard, noting the way the other sailors were staring at her and her sister. "Oh, it's been a long time since I've been on a ship!" She would grin as she moved to get a better look at the ocean, eager to continue their journey to Mist.
