Ninpocho Chronicles
Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Akako is the spitting image of Akane and Akihiko before their conjoining. They are androgynous, have pale white skin and bloody red eyes due to a strain of albinism. The only difference is their white hair, the effect of them nearly dying in Kirigakure upon awakening, and the red stitches that cover their body, the work of Nanami. These are easy enough to cover for them with Genjutsu or even basic cosmetics, however. This allows them to completely impersonate a Shoukyou twin to whoever is not aware of their current fate. Anyone who has met the twins or know of the Shoukyou would recognize their features as well.
They stand at five feet and an inch and weigh a hundred pounds. Their wardrobe consists of whatever they can pilfer from their victims. Though, often enough, they can be seen running around with a white lab coat, a black tank top and slacks. Hair pins spelling out the number XIII lies decoratively on their hair and they have the tendency to paint their nails black.
Character's Mental Description:
They are an interesting specimen. Due to their nature as a clone, they grew to be an adult quickly and had a blank slate mind. They only know what the twins have taught them. And they’ve been groomed and brainwashed to worship Akane, Akihiko and the Shoukyou family. They are the back-up plan, after all; someone who would replace the twins if something ever befell even one of them.
Project Red Child was never completed though, due to the Great Freeze, and they were abandoned and frozen in ice before the final step was done. If the project had been finished, they would have been brainwashed to believe they were a triplet. But, because of it did not, obsession grew in the place of familial love.
Waking up from the ice, Akako is confused and has identity issues. They are unaware of their status as a clone. With what little memories they have before the Great Freeze, they believe the twins saved them from death and is eternally grateful. But, there is a deep seated hurt at their supposed abandonment as well.
Left with recordings of Akane and Akihiko and hearing them while in cryogenic sleep, they also have the tendency to hear the twos’ voices in their head acting like their conscience. On occasion, they lapse and mimic how they believe Akane and Akihiko would act in certain situations. Often, this happens when they are uncertain how to act in a specific situation.
They’re a bit like a toddler, finding their feet for the first time, all while having the knowledge of two prodigal medics and shinobi implanted in their mind. So, while they have moments of maturity and feats of prodigal ability, they act childlike. Because they are by all accounts a toddler despite their artificial biological age. They are ignorant of social niceties and norms, though that is something they are quickly learning through observation and osmosis… which isn’t exactly a good thing, as there is no filter to what they learn.
They have the startling ability to adapt their personality to situations in an act of self-preservation though. And, even when they want to fight, an ingrained idea in them is to do everything to stay alive so that they can continue to do what they were born for. Like the originals though, they lack the concept or ability to feel fear and the idea of self-preservation is out of pragmatism and ingrained brainwashing more than anything.
Still growing their own identity, one thing is for certain: Akako is obsessed with the Shoukyou family and their ideologies.
Multiple Personality Application:
Check Character's Mental Description. Though their personality can be erratic, this really cannot be considered as multiple personalities. They mimic Akane or Akihiko but do not believe they are them; more of a coping mechanism than anything. They also hear their voices as their conscience in a way one might have an imaginary friend. Though I use the pronoun 'they', it is out of gender-neutral purposes (and to be vague whether 'they' mean Akako or the actual twins - due to her brainwashed ways) rather than a sign of multiple personalities.

There were many failed attempts, failed puppets, corpses and clones. Nothing met their standards. But they came close with attempt number fourteen, just around the time the two had attained the power of Dark Sages. Number Fourteen was made of body parts; the twins’ own severed parts collected over a year of painful operations, limb regrowths and tireless days in their lab wherein they saw and spoke to no one else but themselves.
The only thing they could not transplant and regrow was what should be Fourteen’s head. Instead, a dying Shoukyou was chosen and their immediate relatives given hush money and compensation in exchange for their corpse. From there, the twins would surgically remove their own faces and eyes to make sure the Red Child was a mirror image.
Biologically, Number Fourteen is ninety percent a copy of the twins. And feeding their own chakra into it meant even its chakra was nearly identical, if a strange mix of Akane’s and Akihiko’s. With that, the stirrings of a new Dark Sage came along. The thing was more assembled body parts given life than genetic clone at this point. But it would serve their purpose.
All this, with careful planning and their medical expertise, was made possible all the while remaining unknown.
They could not implant their memories into Number Fourteen, however. No feat of medical science or jutsu could replicate and transfer information encoded into their own brains. They spoke of themselves, of the Shoukyou legacy and ideologies, of their medical knowledge and the arts of the Dark Sage. Yet, without knowing that their reason for existence is to replace a dead twin, they believe that they need to do acts worthy of Akane and Akihiko’s attention. What those acts are, they’re unsure. The two never seemed completely malevolent or benevolent in their recordings, their memories. If anything, they seemed apathetic about most things outside of their own research and family.
Instead of assuming, Akako observes and learns more about what the two have done in their time in places like Moon and Sand in the hopes of deciphering what they wish to be done.
Moon leaves little trace with how shunned and hidden away in the Shoukyou household the two were. And Akako is almost tempted to stay. The clan was there. The clan they were so devoted to. But Akane and Akihiko were not. They could feel it in their very being. So, they leave.
They meet Mizushima Nanami when the power of the Dark Sage flares up in them as they nearly die once more. Hunger, gnawing and over reaching. There is hunger, not for food, but for life… for Death. It’s too much. Too much for their living corpse of a body. And they nearly fall apart, quite literally, if it wasn’t for the doctor. She has the stench of Death about her. But something in them screams to trust and befriend.
Nanami feels the opposite once she sees their face. The face of the Horsemen of Death. They are Death, yet they are not. Not like Nanami is Pestilence or like Aika is Famine or how the one who is War is War. Akako is Death but merely an echo of it. Yet, that still terrified her because… how many more of them are running around? She is wary that Akako is a SAIJIN project, unaware that they were made by Akane and Akihiko. But Nanami has taken the physician’s oath and is obliged to help when Akako claims, confesses, not to know what the guild was. Guilt gnaws at the doctor for helping this abomination. But guilt would eat her even more if she didn’t. She teaches them the basics of the dark arts as a Dark Sage. And they part ways when they reach the gates of Sand.
Sand yields more information, though it does nothing to make things any clearer. The two were honored guests at the Kazekage’s household because of their station. A word at the hospital reveals that they had volunteered their time to help the sick and the injured. Gossip claims the two were the talk of parties, spending money left and right on food, booze and companions. And there were whispers of the two seeking out those desperate enough to gain power in exchange for their very souls. There was no clear pattern as to whether they wished to do good or evil. If anything, they followed a balance with one good deed following a bad one.
Akako followed suit. They pretend to be a medical student from a tiny shinobi village seeking further learning and safe passage in Sand. Preserve themselves. They frequent parties, watching and learning how the average person acted, how they spoke and treated each other, in the hopes of being able to assimilate themselves to avoid scrutiny and blend in. Preserve themselves. They go to volunteer at the hospital in exchange for accommodation, food and medicine. Preserve themselves. They seek out those who wish for power in exchange for their souls. Preserve Death.
The Dark Sage in them screams to preserve death. But their grooming and biological imperative says to preserve life. Their life. It tears at Akako’s being much like their unwavering devotion and growing frustration with Akane and Akihiko.
