Physical: With black hair that looks messy with a hint of spiky to it, as if he never fixed his bed hair, Mirai stands at five feet and two inches. He weighs roughly about one hundred and fifteen pounds, with a fairly athletic build and slight tan. His iris' are of a reddish brown and his eyeballs have began turning blood red, a sign that he has the gift of his bloodline clan. Another noticeable trait is the scar that rests upon his face. It's a slim in width and starts from the bottom corner on the right side of his face and works it's way up to the corner of the bridge of his nose.
Personality: Mirai's facial expression always seems like he's concentrating, mostly not to lose himself to his clan's affliction. Always in thought, usually going over a book of battle tactics in his head on how to apply theories to actions in an actual fight. With his ambition to somehow change his clan, he tries to make the most of his time. He does this by either studying, reading, or training. He doesn't care too much for others, especially about their problems. He fools others to thinking that he's friendly and cares by greeting everyone with a smile and finding different things to form some sort of connection. The cool, calm, and collected as described by so many, as though he's unbothered by anything. Yet when it comes to his older sister, Mirai can have a pretty short fuse as she knows how to get right under his skin.
History: Mirai was born as Chigokai Mirai to a woman named Chigokai Takara. That's as much as he knows since his parents got divorce and his father left shortly after his birth. Mirai is the youngest of three siblings and he is the second son. Growing up, he noticed how neither his older brother nor himself received any attention from their mother, yet their sister stayed spoil. Once to try and get her attention, Mirai managed to cut himself. The gash went from the bridge of his nose, diagonally down the right side of his face. Shortly after the incident, Mirai's eyes began to fill with a red color, as if it was being filled with blood. It was then realized that Mirai, unlike his older brother Junichi, he had received the blessings of the Chigokai clan.
Ironically, he was now receiving attention that he didn't and no longer wanted. Through this, he became well acquainted with the butler, Tanake, who had him reading books and teaching him skills he would need to be a proper clansman. Learning the history, and feeling like he would be cast off against his will at some point in his life, he began to come up with his own ambition to overtake and/or change the clan.So not to be affiliated with his clan outside of the village, he came up with the name Akarui to replace Chigokai in his name. If he was going to climb to power, he wanted to do it with his own hands and work ethic, not with the privilege the clan name brought with it. To this day, he introduces himself as Kai and asking for his name will get you Akarui Mira.
