Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

A cold glare peered from beneath a dark hood almost to obscure to see. The blistering winds were quite unforgiving in wind country nor was the scorch of the sun.
“In the Territories everything's barren and windswept. Barren and windswept beaches, barren and windswept mountains, barren and windswept”
I attempted to guard my delicate face with an arm from the harsh climate but without much luck. “You know, if you talked less, maybe you could walk faster.(SCOFFS) Where are we anyway?”
“ Where? We're, uh...”
“You have no idea, do you?” The frustration I felt growing inside me was prevalent.
(LAUGHS) “What? Yeah, I have an idea.”
“What happened to, "I know where I'm going, Yukari.”
"You don't need a map, Yukari,” I responded mockingly.
I am the map, Yukari.
"I know exactly where we are...
Oh, not exactly....
Approximately...
Well I know where we're going.”
With a fist full of sand I raged in my response to him, “You said you knew a shortcut through the Wall,” finally I tossed the sand at him only to have it redirect from the flow of the wind.
“I did, yeah. Well, what I meant was I know a smuggler who knows a shortcut through the Wall.”
“A smuggler! That's reassuring.”
“Yeah, he's a friend of mine. Named Ryo. He's got his own secret tunnels. Now, the problem is, we're gonna need something to trade, and right now we've got a whole lot of nothin’. (SIGHS) - But you know what, hey! It'll be fine. Something will turn up. It always does. I'm resourceful that way. Come on, keep up.”
“I was wondering, um All this training.
What, what is it that we are preparing for?”
“Let's just say, we all pay for our sins, eventually.
Except for those of us who are still pure, ain't that right, Yukari? Well, this will take a little while to develop. (CHUCKLING) Your mother saved my life. Twice. Once from a sword wound right here, and the other from a malady in my head. (LAUGHS) She makes me drink these foul concoctions, but they have banished my headaches. How are we doing back there? Almost muscle failure? (SIGHS) Mmm There. Much stronger than last month.”
I grinned in reply, “Oh! You're a worker of wonders.
I swear, I feel ten years younger.”
“Let's keep it that way. This is my recommendation. We have arrived. We’ll be meeting the smuggler at the tomorrow, for now let’s set up camp and continue your training after a break hmm. I'll see you at dinner?”
Later at the camp fire...
“My friend you don’t talk do you much?”
“No. That’s because I prefer punching people, when I’m not slicing and dicing them up.”
“Ooh! Is that true? You prefer fighting to talking? My mentor once told me of a legendary Shinobi, a sennin who left the Stone village, never to be heard of again.
His name was Amatsu. Kinezumi Amatsu.”
“Seems I’ve never heard that name.”
“They call him "Silver Moon. They say he prowls the Territories, hunting for fugitives. Don't believe the whispers, my friend. Sure, he’ll bring in the odd runner now and then but he’s not out here for your bounties. See, back in the Stone, we would kill each other for our Kage. But out here, out here I like to think of us as, uh, brothers, not enemies.”
“Why'd he leave? What was he truly looking for?”
“Peace, I guess. Doesn't matter how brutal the world is, if you kill enough, it hollows you out. I guess, he wanted to see if he could make himself whole again, even find some kind of redemption.”
“And did he?”
“He met her out here. A warlord's daughter.
He won her in battle (CHUCKLES) and then she won him. They had a son. But because of them, he was happy. I mean, the kind you can feel in your gut. It's like a warm fire going on in there.
That's how he felt every moment. Just looking at them. But he should've known it couldn't last.
I used to think it would be his Kage to come after him. Instead, it was the brother of a Nomad scum that he killed for him. Took him years to track Amatsu down. Only, instead of finding him, he found his wife and his son. He came home, and found their heads on the kitchen table. Their eyes reproaching him like he was late for dinner. Yeah, sure, he found it.
After that he, uh, he slipped back into his old ways.
He needed something to focus on, so He started collecting bounties. Tell you what, Yukari. You can run. Far, far away. But there's no escaping what they turned us into. You had a family back there? If you care for them, don't go back. That's the greatest gift you can give them.”
The next morning, training continues...
“Yukari, how can we hold a conversation if you won't admit the truth? You are running away, aren’t you?”
“(Sigh)”
“I know why you run. Fear. It's the strongest human emotion bred into us for one purpose, to keep us alive. But it can also kill us, if we let it, hmm?” The hooded man would reach into his garbs and toss a knife at Yukari’s feet. It stab the sand standing upright, “This was given to me when I was a new recruite in the organization on the eve of my first mission. I had to sneak in, kill a sennin while he slept.
But after I climbed through that man's window, I was paralyzed with fear. My fear was so potent, it felt like an invisible hand had thrust a stake down through my body, nailing me to the ground. That sennin woke up, he saw me, and reached for his sword. In that split second I realized, I have a choice, I can die a forgotten coward, or I can live to be celebrated and remembered. Before that sennin even touched his sword, I slit his throat. Four of his bodyguards stormed into the room, I killed them all. To this day, before every battle, fear visits me, but now I embrace it as a friend. It's what makes you faster, stronger, smarter. As long as you control it instead of letting it control you. You understand me?”
“Yes, I believe I do.”
“I have faith in you, Yukari. Indeed, I sense a kindred spirit, a young woman who has the potential to grow into a great Kunochi warrior. Maybe the greatest Kunochi warrior the Hidden Leaf village has ever known. I'm gonna give you this as a token of my faith. If you can pass this test. Prove yourself by cutting me Yukari.”
“I don't think”
- Stop your thinking, hmm? Use that fear pumping through your heart and cut me. Cut me!
“Where?”
“Well, that's entirely up to you, Yukari. Don't be a disappointment, I've had too many in my life. Go on.
