Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Character's Physical Description:

Shuya is a boy of average height, around 160 centimeters tall. His hair is an unusual red color and has been that way since meeting his friend a while back -- he finds that it matches pretty nicely with his orange eyes. However, sometimes he can be a bit forgetful and will be seen with darker streaks in his hair; very rarely will he be seen with his fully natural brown color. He's usually seen wearing his school uniform -- a white, collared shirt with a black blazer and matching black pants. Aside from that, he prefers to keep his wardrobe simple, often wearing solid color shirts and a relaxing pair of trousers, regardless of what material they're made from.
Character's Mental Description:
While Shuya has been improving lately, he is still a pretty cowardly kid. Before doing anything outside of his comfort zone, he'll go through a risk assessment, attempting to calculate how likely it is things will go wrong. While doing this has saved his hide quite a few times, it has also made him miss out on a few good opportunities, each one weighing on his soul more than the last. He sees this as a massive crutch and most likely will despise people who bring up his hesitation in a teasing manner. On the bright side, he does attribute his easy-going nature to his lack of impulse, making him a pretty easy person to talk to and get along with.

Character History:
Shuya was one of those lucky children to grow up without any severe issues. His parents were around and made it a point to remind him, daily, how much they loved him. His school life, while not remarkable nor one-of-a-kind, was one that he had no complaints about; he was considered a bright child by his teachers and a pretty enjoyable guy to be around by his peers. He got nearly everything he wanted almost to the point of being spoiled. His parents decided this would be best for him, determined to do anything they had to in order to keep their boy safe from harm. This worked pretty well for the first eight or nine years, but as Shuya started to get older he began to realize the effect this coddling was having on him.

The bridge between elementary and junior high really highlighted what he lacked: the courage to take risks. Whenever he was invited to go somewhere with his classmates, upon finding out that their plans were anything more than reading, studying, or playing at someone's house, he would shy away, always considering the possibility that he could get in trouble. He was, in his own oft-repeated words, a coward. His lack of courage would start to gradually change upon meeting a very influential classmate.

This boy was pretty much everything Shuya was not: a risk taker, a bit of a loudmouth, and someone that wasn't afraid to stand up for others. By the time Shuya was 12, he was determined to become just like this kid and, by the age of 13, decided to take one of the biggest risks of all: becoming a ninja. His decision was mainly sparked by his now-absent friend, the two of them promising to meet again when they're both at the top of their game. Shuya's parents certainly weren't happy about this decision, and even Shuya himself was very hesitant to do such a thing. Nonetheless, he knew that if he ever wanted to change his ways and, more importantly, meet his friend again, it was a risk he'd have to take.
