Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

20 points....
Reckless fighters are known for their crazy life risking maneuvers, and their somewhat insane style of fighting, which is known for hitting exceptionally hard - but usually at a cost to their own body. Reckless fighters are able to boost damage in all aspects, but these bonuses often come at a cost.

Bloodlust - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
When in battle Reckless fighters can sometimes enter such an intense state of mind that they completely ignore small wounds and the effects of exhaustion, their love for battle surpassing all other concerns.
Effect: Ignores up to rank 3 bleeding.

Mastered Offensive Stance - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
By maximizing the efficiency of their attacks and gaining the most offense for the amount of lost defense, a Reckless fighter can become insanely accurate for the same amount of lost evasion.
Effect: Allows user to gain +1 accuracy per -1 dodge, up to a maximum of +4 accuracy and -4 dodge.

Zaraki Style - Style (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
This style of fighting is the epitome of offense, abandoning almost all defense in order to deal the most damage possible. Considered insanity by most, only the Reckless would possibly use such a way of fighting.
Effect: Increases all physical damage dealt by 30% and received by 15%. The user gains +1 accuracy.

Monstrous Strength - Modification (2 Points)
Restriction: Requires Bulls Strength
Reckless is as Reckless does, and these fighters tend to be physically much stronger than their fettered counterparts. By throwing away all common sense and rationality, they are capable of sending crushing blows with normal weapons to the point of risking their own weapons to be destroyed in the process.
Effect: Each Offensive Taijutsu has a 15% chance to deal an additional 10% of the total Damage. Each Basic Strike has a 25% chance. The effects of Bulls Strength still remain.

Endurance - Boost (1 point) (x3)
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
Reckless fighters deal with attacks that have a heavy backlash on a regular basis. To endure the power of their own attacks, they need to be far more resilient than the average ninja.
Effect: +2 HP modifier

Huge Power - Boost (1 point) (x3)
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
Tough as nails, a Reckless fighter is never afraid to show their strength. Their melee attacks, whether with the brute force of their fists or the cold metal of their weapons, tend to be much stronger than normal.
Effect: +5% melee damage.

No Limits - Passive (2 points)
The Reckless fighter is very experienced at pushing their body beyond what anyone else would consider reasonable or even sane. As a result, they can hit harder than anyone else can, though at cost to themselves.
Effect: Max damage cap for melee Taijutsu is increased to 80%. However, for every 10% damage beyond the 50% cap the user adds, they take 5% recoil damage for all melee attacks made.

Brink of Insanity - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up) (x2)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
By focusing all their power into one strike, the Reckless fighter can deal insane amounts of damage while at the same time tearing up their own body due to the ferocity of the attack, leaving them extremely defenseless. But if there are no enemies left, that doesn’t really matter.
Rank 1: Strikes a single target, dealing 3,300 Damage at +1 Critical. Deals 20% of the damage done back to the user.
Rank 2: Strikes a single target, dealing 4,125 Damage at +1 Critical. Deals 15% of the damage done back to the user.

Costs:
Rank 1: 1,650 Cp; 2.75 Ap
Rank 2: 2,065 Cp; 2.75 Ap

Notes:
- Partial Hits are treated as Full hits.
- Brink of Insanity may only be used once every other round.
- Upon successful hit, the user suffers from -1 Dodge and takes +10% more damage for the next full round.
- Can be normally be buffed up to 80%. If the user has No Limit, the cap is increased to 90%.

Edit: Also weapon I would like to remain the same... paper trail reasons....

The Ketsueki Blade

Base damage: 150 (S-Rank)
Type: Slashing
Acc: Normal

Augments:
Special Composition - Ninjutsu: Blood
Vampiric
Ignition: Blood

You don't have to buy abilities anymore, but you still must do a 100 WC post for each one.

Also, Shadow Tactics is no longer ability, so your free ANBU ability would be the Sentinel one. Note: You don't have to RP for that one.

CA: Two of the Reckless abilities, Brink of Insanity and Monstrous Strength have been changed [Here] in case you want to keep them.

Weapon: I assume normal Acc = +0 acc/+0% dmg

OOC: Please excuse my ignorance of one of my soon to be abilities. It changed my weapon slightly.

The Ketsueki Blade

Base damage: 150 (S-Rank)
Type: Slashing
Acc: -2 acc (0 with Reckless' Monstrous strength) / +10% damage

Augments:
Primal
Vampiric
Ignition: Blood

[Fearless]
One may try to pin point when Akuma became the fearless creature that he was but they would all be wrong. Unless they naturally assumed that his reason for fear had died out when he was laying in the pool of what one had to assume was his parents blood. Not even when the large alpha wolf came towards him, did he even show a hint of fear. One could say his humanity died that day in the blood. This lack of fear would prove to be one of his greatest strengths, and his greatest weakness in the years to come; rushing into battles with a dead sense. Akuma is the man without fear.
[wc: 114]

[Thick blood]
In his years with the wolf pact, Akuma took many cuts and scrapes while on hunts and even with relocation's. But this didn't seem to have a ill effect on the human wolf, but on the contrary. It seemed that the more injuries Akuma took the harder his skin seemed to be and the less he would bleed from cuts, gashes and scrapes. Just another thing that seemed to prove him an advantage in fights with his more savage nature, swords, claws, knives, arrows and sharp things of all kind seemed to have a harder time getting through his flesh, not only from the thicker blood but from his years of wounds.
[wc: 112]

[Duelist]
A wolf pact, hunt and stalk their prey. Often attacking when the opportunity was right, like one on one or ... many on one. Akuma was no different when it came to that rule with his time in the pact. He would stalk his prey in the beginning and lunge into the fight focusing only on the one opponent but it seemed even though his gaze was on the one person he was more aware of what they where doing and where best to hurt or kill them when the time arose. The downfall of this was he was never fully aware of anyone else around and often got knocked around something fierce. But that thankfully for the pact was never life threatening to Akuma. Even when he got older it seemed that he loved to focus only on one person but rather than calling it a hunters gain, he used to term "honor" in this more "civilized world"
[wc: 158]

[Healing Factor]
Much like his thicker blood and his tougher skin that was more like steel it would seem there was something about him after his years of brutality. Sometimes the blade did cut deeper and actually made him bleed, besides those moments being the times where he looses all reasoning and goes wild with blood lust and with enjoyment, but he seemed to heal quicker than anyone else he knew about. The more of his humanity he lost and the wilder and more savage he had gotten it seemed the harder he was to kill. Not only did it take more to hurt him or make him bleed but he also healed faster.
[wc: 112]

[Bull's strength]
It goes without saying, he was a stronger man than most. His size of six and a half feet towered over many and his years in the wild only made him built stronger too. Not being one in the beginning for ninjutsu or genjutsus he even focused on the more physical aspect after he was taken in by his adopted father Kata. Training hard every day to become stronger and stronger, even stronger than half of his superior's in the shinobi forces. Which naturally the village of mist wanted to use to their advantage. His strength was that which would break molds and become legendary, Akuma was a real honest to God, monster of the deep.
[wc: 116]

[Bloody mess]
It didn't matter who he fought against, Akuma always made damn sure he left them bloody and with the hint of regret if anything. He was drawn to the red river, it was because of his first memory. It was all he could recall of his time before the wolves, all he could recall about his new life and where his humanity left him. Ever since that fateful moment he has always been drawn to the blood of others... and himself. And it seemed he was good at getting it out of people to say the least. Akuma could make anyone drop to the ground clinging to what little life they had left while desperately trying to stop their blood from flowing out. More often than not the last thing they would see is Akumas twisted and horrifying sense of sick joy.
[wc: 142]

[Human anatomy]
While training with the anbu corps there was one part of their teachings that Akuma did too well in some of their opinions. Knowing how to take down a person before they even knew they where dead, Akuma seemed to know the perfect points on the human body to drop a person with ease and also show no remorse when demonstrating his brutality on their little clones or dummies. With their teachings though it only made him deadlier and more efficient at it getting to the point of sick pleasure for Akuma. One thing was for sure, Mist was lucky to have his wolf like pact mentality on their side. Who knows what would have happened if Kata didn't take the small boy in on that cold and bloody day.
[wc: 130

[Insight]
Wolf like life style, Kata's training or his anbu and shinobi training? Who knew where his brutal logic and cunning in battle came from. Akuma just seemed to be a natural in knowing what the opponent was going to do before they did it and their little tricks in battle seemed to never pull a vale over his eyes. The only thing he was ever subjective to was illusions and that was just because it wasn't real it was tricking his brain, tricks that he learned over the years that would aid him in battle... if he ever got around to using them. But in the end Akuma's insight on battles and motives of people was honed in to a pin point.
[wc: 122]

[Weapon mastery]
One of the few things he did not gain or adapt to with his time in the pact was his mastery with blades, or slashing weapons; mainly the katana. It wasn't till he was taken in by Kata that he realized how much joy a katana brought to the battle. How easily it drew blood and made people cry out in agony. So naturally he learned from Kata and on his own to master his own style with the Katana. But not just that all slashing weapons really, he loved them all anything with a bladed edge. It almost made him feel as warm inside as using his own fists to beat the life out of people. Unlucky for him however he couldn't kill many people other than on missions because Kata made him promise he would try to keep the wolf at bay.
[wc: 144]

[Quick draw]
Another thing he didn't learn from the wolves but defiantly adapted by them was his quick speedy like drawing of items and his own blade. With the wolves he learned that quickness was key to getting the upper hand at killing your prey. So only naturally when he mastered the use of slashing weapons he trained himself to draw them out quickly, either to quickly toss or to just draw his sword quicker than someone can blink their eyes. This was the latest skill he had learned with his training, he was now the monster that everyone feared. Master at his own art and killer in hiding, Kata the bastard helped make a perfect killer but only hid him away hoping that no one would ever need to witness the carnage he would unfold.
[wc: 134]
