Appearance:
Someone wouldn't expect this young red haired girl, who looks so innocent and sweet, to be one of the more powerful members of the village, let alone an actual Sennin. Without her mask and concealing she looks totally different to when she is in it. With her red hair tied in twin tails, she still retains her childish looks, also adding to the fact is the lack of a tan on her fair skin, even for a tropical area this is certainly more rare. Her eyes, set like two green-blue orbs in her face always seem to hold a look of wonder and enjoyment in all she sees. Dressed in revealing clothing, (well it also doesn’t hinder movement!) she also has a surprising fascination for beads, something that she has always had since she was in the academy, and has made many necklaces and other jewellery with them.
Her ANBU mask is a white fox-shaped mask with dark purple tears at the sides of both ‘eyes’ and the same colour of slivers of triangles curling towards the eyes and another pointing down from the forehead.
Personality:
Inanna’s personality changes whether she is on the job or not. When masked, she is cold, calculating and almost ruthless and without mercy. She is more than happy to dispatch any who break the laws of the land, after all she is one of those that is meant to uphold those laws to the letter. There are reasons that she was elevated to her position once Minamoto Taro had been elevated to Mizukage, and she is willing to show it to you if you really want to see it.
When she’s without the mask, she puts another kind on. This mask is of an almost child-like girl. An innocence that is almost never experienced by someone her age. She puts her appearance to good use to make herself seem as different from her alter ego as she can. Yet inside there is still the same deadly force, just hidden with sugar, rainbows and most of all, Skittles! Without a sense of honour, Inanna does what she can to succeed in her goals, be it in battle or in other aspects of her life.
History:
She started from a lofty beginning in the first place, the first born child of Akumairo Shizune and Shitsuen, she had great responsibility and an even higher expected future. Akumairo Shizune was the direct descendant of one of the more forward and vocal of the dissenters during the Akumairo Upheaval. A trait that had led her family to be the pseudo leaders of the Akumairo that escaped from Snow Country. Raised to believe that honour was a weakness that few could afford, Inanna made her decision to abandon such a trivial part of her nature in order to become stronger in the eyes of those she would, one day, lead. To Inanna, childish innocence and adorability became tools of war, she was the wielder and those on the other side was the victims of her masquerades.
Because of her attitude, she became more and more enamoured with her mother’s job as a ninja, yet she wondered if she would ever get the chance to follow in her footsteps as she was getting bored of just sitting in the house reciting the names of those that took part in the history and the making of their branch of the clan. Yet, it didn’t take much longer before she was invited out to spar with her mother. At the time Inanna never realised that she was being trained to go into the Academy, not until one day, when she was nine years old, did her mother finally say ‘You are ready, my daughter, now make us proud.’
First day of the Academy and Inanna was shocked to see so many other children all in one place. Any normal child would be trying to make friends with her peers, but Inanna spent the first day watching them all carefully. They all seemed to have their own weaknesses and strengths, and she tried to cast each one in her mind to use at a later point. You never know when you may need some red buttons to press to wind someone up.
Months slowly passed, and she got more and more bored with her classes, or at least the lectures. She longed each day for the practical lessons, where she truly perked up her interests. Most notably in genjutsu and in ninjutsu. Taijutsu just wasn’t her style, she wanted to see the hope leave her enemies’ eyes before the light of life. She wanted them to know that their cause was hopeless when facing her in combat, and then to see them slowly realise their fears. Some may call her sadistic for that, but to her it was in a place of its own for her. Honour was for those who didn’t know any better.
It was around this time that she started becoming more aware of odd happenings, especially with giggles where there should have been no giggles at all, and movement out of the corner of her eyes in an empty room. One day she just had enough. “Whoever you are, come out!” She shouted, and then a young woman appeared before her. “Who are you, what are you?” She asked the woman who just giggled in reply. “I said…”
“Oh I heard what you said.” The woman said with a cruel glint in her eye. “I just chose not to answer you. You things made of flesh and bone cannot command those of ether and spirit” A ghostly hand stroked the girl’s cheek. “So delicate, like a sweet little flower, but flowers wither and fade as they age, so too, shall you.” Inanna ground her teeth and plunged her arm through the spectre, the ghostly woman just giggled as she floated away. “I told you sweetheart you don’t have what it takes! We shall meet again, very soon.”
Now, as far as Inanna knew at this point, ghosts were just made up to frighten little kids to make them behave for overworked parents. This strange little encounter seemed to disprove that fact. Just what was happening anyway? Only one person she knew could possibly answer that question for her. That was her grandmother, Akumairo Risa, who was also one of the more knowledgeable of the Clan on odd occurrences. ”Obaa-san!” Inanna called as she entered her grandmother’s place. “Obaa-san, are you there?!”

“I… think I… saw a ghost!” Inanna screeched as she clung to her grandmother’s robes, almost as tall as the woman was herself. By this point the young girl was shaking her grandmother, that was until Risa banged Inanna on the head with her walking stick out of annoyance. “Ouch!” Inanna exclaimed as she clutched her head, releasing her grandmother from her grip.
“Get a hold of yourself. You’re an Akumairo, not some snivelling worthless street rat.” Risa said as she glared at her granddaughter balefully. “Now, sit still and shut up.” Inanna sank to the floor as the old woman commanded. “Each Akumairo is granted various gifts by their ancestry, you are no different child.” The woman said. “Some members have an uncanny prescience, others have eyesight beyond compare, others control the elements, you on the other hand have the ability to see the spirits of those departed from this world. It is one of the more rare gifts granted, but one none the less.” So speaking to ghosts was… it was an ability? Part of her refused to believe thatsuch an ability existed. Yet... here was proof that such did. She did not like that one little bit.
Yet as time wore on, she found herself beginning to enjoy the fact that she was able to speak and converse with spirits. She became more at ease, especially when a spirit helped her out with her genin exam, when she was struggling. To those she had become rather grateful, especially a couple of ghosts that seemed to keep her company on walks, making days less boring.
