Name:Akuro Kunashi
Age:11
Physical Description: Standing a mere 4’7”, Kunashi is a vibrant, athletic young boy. His messy brown hair falls just barely over the right side of his face, covering his eyebrow. A boyish smirk outlines his diamond-shaped head. Still young, his arms and legs are still undefined, but his active and competitive nature gives him a slight amount of muscle tone. He generally wears a fur-lined hooded jacket and long sleeved shirt over his broad-shouldered frame. He prefers long pants to shorts because of the climate around his home in Raiden’s Eye.
Mental Description:Confident in himself and competitive by nature, Kunashi is a proud young boy. Kunashi is never one to ask for the easy way out, and is always willing to work for what he desires. Strong willed, and surprisingly independent for his age, he is not one that would shirk away from confrontation or competition easily. Smart and analytic, Kunashi enjoys examining his surroundings and dreaming of hypothetical situations of danger and excitement. With his lofty ambitions and dedication, he will never be content and always want progression.
History:Not native to Lightning Country, Kunashi and his family moved from Water Country after the destruction of it’s symbol of power, Kirigakure. Being too young to understand, his mother put it simply: “Nature did something horrible, and we were no longer safe.” Luckily, Kunashi seemed to thrive in the vast cityscape. As he grew older, he would ask his mother about Kirigakure and what happened, and the stories she told him were a lighter version of the truth. No mother would tell her youngest son of the actual atrocity that occurred, and of the people still frozen in the streets, a testament to the cold indifference of nature itself, and the destruction it can bring.
Having grown up in the metropolis of Raiden’s Eye, Kunashi saw a spectrum of people. Those he considered good, such as his mother and the Shogun, those he considered bad, the criminals he saw almost daily, and everyone in between melted together in to a menagerie of human condition. Kunashi accepted that not everyone is good at a young age, namely when he witnessed his older brother get mugged on the street, by a man from a lower social class than they, for a minimal amount of Yen. Pushed to the ground during the altercation, Kunashi suffered bumps and bruises, but his brother was much worse off. The criminal left him as a battered heap on the ground without a second thought. Kunashi waited until the man left, and then crawled to his brother, and helped him to his feet. He acted as a crutch for his brother and helped him back home, and from that moment on, Kunashi knew the intrinsic good he thought was in everyone was a false dream. His naivety was lifted, and the world seemed a much darker place. However, every night, he would look to the Palace from the lofted apartment his family called home, with its grand gardens and luxurious architecture and smile. He knew there were good people in this world, even if the world itself is indifferent. And he knew he could be one of them.
