Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

For any child, the summer was always the best time of the year. Long days of sunlight and warm weather, parents at work, and very little supervisor. This summer was especially special for Hiromu Oiwa as it was supposed to be his last summer before he took his genin exam. It was his last true summer as a “child” in Konohagakure. In the fall the boy was to become a man and join the shinobi corps! As such, Oiwa was trying to enjoy his summer out in the park.

Coming to the top of the stairs that led into the park. The immigrant boy would enjoy the views of the Hokage Park. The warm stagnant weather was being gently blown away from the mountain rock breeze that blew across the rocky hairs of the former Hokage. Outside of the entrance of the park, there were vendors that were trying to sell their goods out in the park. There were also a couple of posters that were stapled up on the wood beams and boards. One older and weathered one that Oiwa walked past showed a faded picture of a lost dog poster. The poster showed in a yellow tint a large white dog being hugged by what looked like a young child with big reward letters,
“Missing! Reward if found!”

It had been an abnormally long streak of hot days out in Konohagakure that had caused most of the civilians inside. Oiwa felt fine though, in fact the former Island boy had been feeling a bit chilly up until this point. The soft face boy did seem to be enjoying the slightly quieter than normal afternoon.

The soft steps of the boy came to a stop as he heard the rustling of some shrubs off to the right of the path he was on. “What is there?” The red head boy asked, his shinobi senses in training catching the sound of the rustling beyond just the shrubs that lined the dirt path.Slowly coming out of the shadows was a large, slightly matted black and white dog.

Staring at the dog with curious ember eyes, Oiwa would not move at first. The dog looked like a stray, but the boy could see a collar now loosely hanging around the now skinny neck of the dog. It was definitely an animal that at one point belonged to someone, but Oiwa did not know who the dog bellowed too. Normally Oiwa would have just reported it to some shinobi police, but at some point Oiwa had to take matters into his own hands. Cautiously, Oiwa started to approach.

“Hey there little buddy…..” Oiwa said standing up tall as he started to move towards him. The dog’s reaction was to start to back away, growling at Oiwa as he seemed to get defensive. The hackles were raised, and Without really any training on pets, Oiwa could tell the dog was scared, but he was here to help!

Confidently strolling up to the scared dog, Oiwa would bend over him and try to grab at his collar. The dog would growl at him, baring his fangs. When the dog snapped at him, Oiwa backed his hand away for a brief moment. “Hey. Settle down, I am just trying to help you.” The cool boy said as he saw what he thought of as a glint of what he had to think of as a name tag. “Come on boy, let me see your name tag. We will get you home.” He said trying to take a softer tone as he reached out to get the back of his collar. The dog again would snap at him, but this time Oiwa was not fast enough to get his hand out of the way. With a crunch, the dog latched onto the wrist and forearm of the shinobi to be.

The moment that Oiwa was bitten was a moment of shock. The Androgynous boy would stare down at the dog with his ember eyes. Blood was already starting to trick down the boy's forearm. Not only was the dog snarling and attached to Oiwa’s tanned body, but his white fur around his muzzle was starting to soak red with the boy’s blood. Panic started to set in as Oiwa tried to comprehend what to do. He could fight the dog off, but then he would hurt a member of the Konoha. Maybe a bit of chakra usage would scare the dog off of him.

Unfortunately for the dog, the boy was still refining his chakra control. So when the boy tried to channel the chakra into his injured forearm and hand something went terribly wrong for the academy student whose lineage went back to Kirigakure. Within a blink of the eye, the dog yelped, or at least tried to yelp.

Growing Icles shot out of the dog's muzzle and nose. Spraying blood over the grown. Fifteen Icecles were now sticking out of the dog's mouth who had now let go of Oiwa’s arm. The yelping would get worse and more gurgling as the dog used its front paw to try to bat at the magically laced ice crystals. The yelping got worse as Oiwa Chakra justu continued to work The icicle continued to form as the panic grew in the dogs eyes, and rather quickly a large icicle was sticking up from the gaping muzzle of the dog, the dog unmoving, frozen both in fear and in death. The blood of the dog dripped down the spike that was coming out of his muzzle, leaving a crystal clear icicle of Oiwa’s newly awakened power.

The shock and horror was visible of Oiwa’s face as he realized what he had just done to that stray and lost dog. Oiwa would look down and see the rather gruesome bite that had caused all of this. The Large dog had basically bitten down almost to the bone. The whole forearm of Oiwa was covered in a mixture of the dog's blood, and his own, and Oiwa was having problems moving the fingers indicating what was most likely some tendon damage. Backing up some, Oiwa would gingerly grasp his hand by his wrist before running back towards his mother’s salon in the Maple District to help get his help for his injured arm, and to begin to learn about what had happened to that Poor Dog.
