It would be the second time Aya had come down into the Cronopolis to meet with Kyo. He had received word that she wished to train some more, which was a pleasant enough surprise; he knew his techniques and methods were different from the academies, and that they tended to drive others away. His Little Birds being proof of that to some degree. Once again there would be eyes following the girl as he made her way to the same warehouse as before, but they weren’t as hostile, and there were even people on the street when she came by, though most of them pointedly ignored her as she traveled.
The outside of the warehouse had the same appearance as before, nothing seemed different until she entered the building. Were before she had found missing windows, and rubbish pilled out of the way in a corner there was now neither. The walls had been replaced with wood paneling, a stair case and catwalk around the wall added, and various pieces of training equipment ranging from a climbing net, to weights, various heavy bags, speed bags, wooden horses and wooden training stands. There was also a variety of lights along the outside wall, ensuring that everything was well lit.
Kyo was once again standing on the far side of the warehouse, this time surrounded by a group of ten younger children, Aya may be familiar with the lean and harsh look that they all had, though they all seemed to have been listening intently to the scored man as he spoke. As she stepped foot into the actual interior of the warehouse Kyo would speak loudly enough to be heard across the area, “That is enough for now Little Birds. Go and eat, I have business to conduct.” Those surrounding him would all bow in unison and turn and stroll from the room via the door that Kyo stood near in an orderly manner.
Kyo would beckon the girl to come forward; he would stand there, hands behind his back and watch. She would feel that she was still being watched by someone else this time, as she crossed the floor to Kyo unlike last time she had been here. He had prepared something for the girl, had heard the news of her graduation and knowing that she had an interest that she had stated before had prepared for her something that he felt would be of use, it was also an appropriate thing to give from someone in his position, though he had to ensure that was the case before he had went ahead with what he had done.
