Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Nobu was once more taking on missions for the village, it seemed that he could use the cash especially given how much money he had just sunk into restoring this old abandoned clan house from the world, it seemed that he had put way to much time and money into it for it to be even considered funny, though right now he knew that the mission assignments would be handed out to him. As he pulled himself off the bed in those few moments he rubbed his eyes to clear the sleep from them as he sighed watching the sun begin to rise in the background. It was clear that the day was starting to get into full swing and he would have to get used to that fact.

Nobu pulled himself off the bed and stood up as he looked around the room it was clear that there still was a lot of work that he was required to complete and even now he was going to be running slightly late in the mission assignment, as he got himself dressed as always he still found it funny that a man in his position head no headband. He had been given responsibilities and tasks that should be considered for fully-fledged Shinobi but right now it was down to him, what a weird way this world worked in. Nobu knew full well that most of his training, most of his time as a Shinobi it had been him alone. It was not something he could explain and not something he was going to be getting used to.

"Another day to work, and more shit to shovel is not my idea of fun but I can understand why I am having to do this. So much has changed right now, and so much is still within my grasp to achieve."

As he headed out of the complex and along the well know roads inside of the village. he had a clear purpose and place to head to this time, once more the missions would be assigned to him, the last one had been pretty boarding and the one before that so he had given up hope on the missions being something that gave him the opportunity and gave him some form of opinion. AS he walked inside the building it was the same old same old really from this point out.

He was required to wait his turn before his name was called, from here he would enter into a room where the members sat and it was in that few minutes that he was given his task. As he looked at the instructions and the temporary passport. He nodded as he took the information for that few seconds, knowing full well that he was going to have to accept the options that had been given to him as well as the mission. After all, this came with a pretty price tag and it wasn't one that he was about to turn back from.

"I accept the mission and will complete it with the hassle, I will return when it has been completed for the reward as well, I am sure that you can understand I will not want to take up your time so thank you for the assignment and have a good day."

With his words spoken Nobu turned around with the scroll in his hand, he knew full well that his part here was done, it was now time for him to actually get to the main focus of why he was there and complete the mission. Heading out of the Hokage building with his bag on his shoulder he instantly headed towards the gates of the village in order for himself to start work, approaching the gate guards he allowed them to check the temporary passport. It had become something of a routine now when he was leaving the village, he came to understand that routine and was well aware of what was required of him.

Sharing a few words with the guards and going back and forth for a little bit it was clear that he was just there to get this task over and done with, nothing too hard and this mission seemed to be pretty simple even for an escort mission, but he wasn't going to complain, money was money and right now doing things like this would be giving him some heavy change in return for the work that he was completing. So in his eyes, this was the best that he could do.

As he made his way outside of the village he knew full well that his first priority was to get towards the meeting point of the group. He knew full well that they would be coming from the outer village zone and this was the first point that they had to have a meeting point for, after all, there was no point in just randomly bumping into each other. So that is the point that Nobu headed towards as he started to head in the direction that they would be crossing into the land. He made a note of each of the steps and the way that he took there, instead of forcing himself to find a new route back, he checked for any sign of threats as well as to make sure the route would be clear for the merchants.

"Nah just as I thought this mission will be one of those simple open and closed cases, the client probably is paying way to much for what he is getting but it's not my fault if they do not check what they actually use the money for. But hey I still get paid even if they are using the top service to allow themselves to feel more secure which is stupid but that is the life I guess right?"

Nobu found himself turning up at the location of the meeting point, knowing full well that he had arrived earlier and now would have to stand there and wait to see what this little convoy looked like. After all, it was just a merchant travelling group so he expected carts as well as other things to be turning up, that would be normal after all they always turned up late.

It seemed that finally, they were turning up as he looked into the distance seeing the carts that were coming towards them. He knew full well that this was the convoy that he was going to have to meet with, as they drew closer they have slowly begun to make a direct line towards Nobu. It seemed that they had managed to achieve the goal and that they have managed to pull out the stops as the group continued to come towards them. He waved them over as they finally came to a stop beside him, it seemed the leader of the group was the one that would approach first and was the one that would be talking to them straight away. He knew the man would be the leader if not for the way others acted around him but the size of the gut that he had with him.

"You're the Shinobi we are supposed to meet, so this is what our money gets us, well I guess we will let you show us the way to the village then, make it quick we have been going for a while now and some of my group are tired from the travelling. They do need to have a rest and stop to get some sleep, so please lets not keeping hanging around here shall we?"

"Of course, let's go and please follow me I don't want to take any more of your time up than is required"

With that Nobu turned around on his heels and headed straight towards the village, deciding to avoid details and avoid making any stops that were not needed. After all, there was simply no point in wasting time that they had when the group seemed to be in such a rush and honestly for Nobu he would much rather be at home than helping a bunch of idiots walking around lost and confused, that wouldn't be something he considered to be vital to their cause. After all, he had business to attend and other matters to run. This was not how he planned his day and with it already being past lunchtime he had no reason to keep holding it around.

Nobu sighed to himself as he leads the group back the exact same way he had originally come from. After all, there was no point in delaying or trying to hide the tracks, the convoy was large enough that they didn't really have any way of protecting the convoy of this size, but out in the daylight and heading towards the gates it was unlikely that anything was going to happen. He understood that and Nobu used that to his advantage full well in this situation where he was at a disadvantage. After all, he could see the gates rolling up. A smile coming to his lips as he knew full well that his mission was nearly completed.

It didn't take long for the group to manage to arrive at the village gates, the convoy checking in with the group in those few moments. He smiled to himself as he knew full well his job here was done, handing them over to the village guards with a quick sign off Nobu sighed as he listened to the general conversation going ahead about why they had come. What their purpose was but people forget that Nobu already knew part of the reason they where here, it was simple on in order to buy some black market goods that he would be selling to them. For now though he had finished his mission up.
