Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Well, I have no idea where I was or what I was doing last time I was on here, and honestly, the 59k yen left over from my post-hack rebirth doesn't mean anything to me right now because it's been 4 years! Also who's Raikage these days? Last one I knew was Hayata Shin, though most of my time was spent in the Ryuuto era lol

(Mostly rhetorical, I have read the timeline post lol)

EDIT: I found an old piece of art with my old character name on it, not that I expect anyone to remember my little Chuunin butt. I was Naniro Juurato back in the day.

Anyway, nuke my stuff and let's get back into the swing of things!
Name: Kutosu Enno
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
Rank: Academy Student

Personality:
For a young boy whose mind that races with ideas about the world, Enno is rarely vocal about... well, anything. Growing up, he was taught to be quiet when he had problems, which led him to stay silent in most situations. Enno prefers to use as few words as possible to get his point across, knowing that taking action and actually performing tasks is what it takes to survive. Similarly, people that talk a lot will tend to come off as liars to the young ninja.

Enno is the type to get obsessive about doing whatever he does until he is the best at it. As such, he's not likely to make many friends, but for those who can earn his trust and break down his walls, he will be fiercely loyal to them. Those who can't will likely think of the boy as cold and distant. Time will tell if he will grow from this, or simply harden his shell.

Appearance:
Enno is a boy of small stature by almost all measures. Thin (though not entirely skin and bone) from malnourishment, short, and wiry. His short brown hair is oily and unkempt, and his skin is pale from his weakened immune system. Among all of this, his light green eyes stand out like pale emeralds, showing just a glimpse of the intense soul that hides behind them.

History:
"You're just going to let them take our son?!"

A father slams his open palm into the wall of his small cottage. The young man by the name of Motoko stares at his wife in disbelief, waiting for a response as their son is led out of the house. Inare, having come to terms with her decision, could only hang her head. With her back still turned to her husband as the last breath of cold rushed from the closing door, tears began to stream down the mother's face as well. They stood in their quiet home for what felt like hours in total silence, each trying to find the words to express their grief.

"We... we had no choice, Moto," she sobbed, the words barely escaping her lips. "They would have left with him one way or another. We can have another child. We..." The words trailed off as the emotions surpassed logic. They both knew they had no choice. The CPSS had taken notice of their only child, and offered the struggling couple a "fair price" for the potential shinobi. As refugees living on the outskirts of Lightning Country, they were offered a larger home closer to the main city, and a contract with the government to provide fabrics to tailors in Kumogakure. The two had been struggling to survive for some time, but the cloth they made together was some of the strongest found in the nation. It was true that the government interest in their fabric was to be used as supplement to the shinobi of Kumo as well, but there was little that could be said about it. Once the ninja of Kumo decided on their candidates, nothing would stop them. It was accept the offer, or risk death. At best, they would have simply kidnapped the boy anyway.

"Bastards..." Motoko clenched his fist as he lowered his hand from the wall. "They have no idea." Enno was not the strongest of children, having been sickly most of his life. He'd only barely survived birth, and had breathing troubles ever since. His difficult life hadn't been an easy one either, with complaints of hunger or illness being met with silence as mother and father both put their entire existence into crafting their textiles just to maintain the roof and crumbs of food they managed to afford. They lived on the outskirts of a small town, ostracized from general society, so most of Enno's free time was spent watching looms or clouds. There was no education available to him, and very little social interaction.

Motoko staggered closer to his wife, holding her as they both mourned. Neither were sure of what kinds of trials awaited Enno at the academy, but they had heard tales of students dying after being "recruited." Being put through rigorous training exercises could easily put the boy in the hospital simply due to his asthma. However, the boy showed a fragment of the power the shinobi hunt for: the ability to control chakra. The Kutosu couple were offered little solace for their child's safety, instead being threatened into complying. Enno had little idea what was happening, but Inare reassured him that he was going to a place where he could accomplish great things.

Being escorted to the gates of Kumogakure and beyond, a young boy begins his new journey as a drafted student of Kumogakure's shinobi academy.

Conveniently, I already have the Cloud banner, so all I'd need is a name change and usergroup add, methinks. Gimme fives, coach!

And... and be gentle on the yen. I'll miss it, but I need the fresh start. *closes eyes and turns head away*
