Physical Description: Maiko has odd colored eyes, which is considered strange by her family. Her left eye is a blue like shallow ocean, while her right is green like evergreen tree needles. She has medium long light brown hair, almost the color of sand, which she wears up in a pony tail. To the left side of her oval shaped face, a small part of her hair is braided and tied with a green tie. She wears her headband on her forehead if she goes on missions. Around her neck, she has a beaded necklace with fox claws attached in front from her father and a chain with a blue stone threaded onto it from her aunt. For her attire, she wears a short sleeved jacket with fishnet wraps sewed into the sleeve hems. Under the jacket, which remains unzipped, she wears a light green tank top. On her legs, she wears shorts that go to her knees with her kunai holder strapped to her right thigh. Black sandles cover her feet.
Personality: Maiko’s personality leads others to believe she is a goof ball, a prankster. She enjoys having fun, but knows not to take a joke to far. Her kind heart allows her to help others, and to fit in with crowds. She has a tendency to fly off the hook when in rage or in battle and she knows how to handle grief and loss.
History: Maiko’s mother died two months after her birth, in a mission gone wrong. Her father tried to care for baby Maiko, but wasnt sure how. He called in her Aunt, who took over care of Maiko, adopting her as her own daughter. When she was 5, Maiko’s father was murdered in cold blood, the murder swearing to come after Maiko next. Fearing for both their lives, her aunt decided to flee the village, taking Maiko with her. They stayed at a small farmers village for the next three years, living with her aunts friend. After those three years, when Maiko was 8, her Aunt gave Maiko the fox claw necklace and blue stone. Before Maiko could thank her, her aunt had disappeared, leaving Maiko with one of her friends. Three years later and Maiko left to find a ninja village to join, and become a great kunoichi to do her parents proud. Now at age12, and Maiko is still looking for a village, but her hopes are beginning to lift as she has joined the Cloud Ninja Academy, and is willing to train and make friends.
