She never returned home, and Shun refused to believe the people that delivered the news of her death. He still believes she is out there somewhere. He began to beg his father to let him join the academy and train, an interest he had never shown before his mother’s disappearance.
His father eventually agreed, and Shun was allowed to enroll when he turned 10 years old. With the goal to find his mother and bring her home, he left his house with an optimistic smile.
