Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Doi slowly pushed open the doors that led into the lobby of the Torre Celeste. The intention behind todays visit was to acquire his very own travel passport. It had already been multiple weeks since the teen had successfully passed his Chuunin exam by this point. Doi felt the time was right to get all the necessary paperwork in order for when he officially decided upon a good time to travel outside of the country. Years of training and missions have led him to this moment. An important step towards what he had planned for his future.

The first thing Doi noticed upon entering the lobby was the receptionist's desk. In front of said desk was a surprisingly small line of just three people. It seems the teen had gotten lucky this time around. There was always a long line whenever he'd come by to ask for a mission or two. He'd even heard the stories of how excruciatingly long the lines in here could get from some of the older shinobi. 'Looks like we lucked out, Shakoo. We got here at a good time.'

'So it appears, Doi. It won't be long before everything is set into place and we can properly travel.'

'Yeah...'

A few moments elapsed before it was finally Doi's turn at the desk. The teen pulled down his hood and handed the receptionist a filled out slip of paper; a form given to him by another lobby worker while he waited in line. "I'm here to request a traveling passport. I've filled this out."

Name: Akimitsu Doi
Rank: Chuunin (Main Branch)
Reason: Tourism / Self-Discovery
Destination(s): Minor villages, towns, and potentially the Land of Wind
Expected Duration; Two years
Companions: None.

"I don't expect to set out for a while. Tentative date of departure should be around a year or so from now, after I turn 18."

OOC: Shakoo is my Jinchu spirit

Doi had indeed gotten lucky and the passport office was not busy at this particular time. Within a few minutes he was stepping up to the counter to be served. The passport office employee seemed genuinely surprised when Doi handed him a form, filled out in advance. The forms were available for all, but usually one had to drag the answers out of the prospective travelers and fill out the form for them. The employee scanned through the form and looked over at a monitor for a few moments, typing something into the computer and then studying the screen for a few moments more. Mainly he was just verifying Doi's identity and ensuring he wasn't on any lists. Well, he was on some lists, but nothing that quite disqualified him from traveling. Apparently he was planning some travel around the country and possibly a trip to Wind... nothing unusual though the duration of the trip was a bit longer than normal.

"Look here," the employee said, pointing towards a camera. Without much warning, the flash bulb would probably blind Doi momentarily as his image was captured. The man turned back to his screen and began typing once more.

"Now as you know, you won't be getting paid by the village while you're vacationing, though you will be expected to send a report regularly. You're permitted to find work on the road, but just remember that you're representing Kumogakure and her laws still apply," the man explaining as he continued typing. Long travel duration usually meant the traveling shinobi would need to make some money on the side. Some shinobi thought just because they weren't in Kumogakure that gave them a pass to take on whatever unsavory job paid the most. Word of caution given, the man finished up his data entry and then turned to a nearby printer which produced Doi's passport. The man placed it on the counter before him, gave it a stamp of approval, and pushed it across the surface to Doi.

"There you are sir, have a nice day," the man said before looking to the next in line.

[Passport approved.]
