Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Senka is an S-Rank and can have 11 abilities. But she has a Kinjutsu, so 3 slots are reserved. She is also an ANBU, so she gets a free ANBU branch ability, as well as one free Shinobi 101.

Activating abilities: 8/8 (+2 free)

0. Sentinel - ANBU Branch

0. Shinobi 101 - Taijutsu - Applied to the Spear of Redemption, giving it Slashing

1. Sixth Sense (Extra Sensory Perception)
On the day of Senka's predicament, lying at the bottom of a ravine rapidly filling with water by the heavy rainfall, with almost every single bone in her body broken, she had awakened her ability to see more than just the material world. Her short trip into oblivion had given her insight into the existence of a world beyond her own, and while she was not constantly plagued by ghosts only she could miraculously see, she was able to understand human and non-human souls alike simply by feeling them.

At first she was spooked by the fact that even when her eyes were closed, she could feel Kurogane's presence nearby. The fact that this was true when she was on the toilet did not increased the favorable points of having this kind of ability. However, eventually she began to enjoy his presence and would feel really safe when he was nearby. In large crowds, this would extend so far that she would never get separated from him.

2. Fearless
On that fateful day... you know the story by now... Senka had tasted death and liked it, leaving her free of any fears, other than that of leaving Kurogane's side, and her illogical fear of flying, considering that humans cannot fly. However, this came from the fact that she had actually flown once, or rather, fallen for long enough to enjoy the sensation of flying, even if her limbs had been trailing behind her like a broken parachute. She would later say that she had not mastered the art of flying, as she had been unable to dodge the ground.

After all, flying is just falling and being able to dodge the ground.

3. Shattered Reality
Senka's reality had been shattered once, when she had learned the gruesome way that man can be worse than beasts. Then her bones had been shattered, leaving her crippled, as her mind was shattered by the torture. With so much shattering going on, she was able to pick up on the techniques that had been employed to do so, which, combined with her ability to see into the souls of living beings, enabled her to use her experiences as a means to grant those fallen out of her favor nightmarish mental anguish.

Knowing and having conquered all but two fears empowered Senka's mind to the point where she could battle it out with people older and more experienced than her. However, her only sparring partner, Kurogane, had been somebody not well-versed in the manipulation of minds, which resulted in many sleepless nights for him.

4. Defensive Technique
From the first day on Senka had known that Kurogane was of the physical type, his stature and build allowing for strenuous activities and withstanding much strain. She herself, however, was the exact opposite, looking ready to break from the lightest of touches. Having stitches all over her body did not help that impression, which compelled her to learn from Kurogane. Ultimately, she was unable to properly build up much muscle mass due to her low metabolism and her reliance on Chakra to even move effectively.

This spawned the idea in Kurogane to teach her his defensive techniques, which conserved her motions to be fluid in dodging and redirecting the force of attacks without the necessity to expend much physical strength. From that Senka built up her own techniques according to her body's flexibility and size, reaching a different form of efficiency while defending.

5. Stalker
This was something she had not learned from her master, as he was usually too big to hide himself properly. Senka could ball up and hide inside baskets, barrels and chests, tying in with her hobby to scare people. Unfortunately, Kurogane had soon become acquainted with her shenanigans, resulting in deadpan answers and underwhelming reactions at her attempts to surprise him.

Thus, she learned to stalk him to work, employ techniques to scare him while remaining undetected and hold her breath so that she would not laugh out loud. This strange hobby possibly stemmed from her changed nature ever since her incident, which turned her into something inhuman that partially feeds on fear.

6. Thick Blood
Senka's blood is not particularly thicker than everybody else's, or she would have difficulties with her oxygen supply. It is the fact that she has an abysmally low blood pressure that barely any blood would flow from her wounds. During the six years of training under the wings of Kurogane, she had hurt herself quite often, especially in the beginning, when her rehabilitation was harder than expected, and she frequently fell on her knees or face.

This resulted in low quantities of blood flowing out of wounds which would coagulate faster due to the lack of high pressure from the inside. However, this also meant that bacteria would find a way inside her body more easily instead of being flushed out. Fortunately, as she would say, the wonder-medicine called Chakra exists and is something she can freely manipulate.

7. Duelist
Senka only ever had Kurogane as her sparring partner and never experienced situations where she had to face several people at once, resulting in her increased ability to concentrate on a single target in exchange for the loss of attention for others. Maybe this was her nature, as she could not properly multitask and only ever did one thing at a time. In the age she lived, nobody would have been able to tell that it was a form of autism, in which the world around her would cease to exist once she focused her attention.

This was true for her even after she joined Anbu, and while she is able to properly keep her surroundings in mind due to her ESP, she cannot do it so well in combat or hectic situations. Whether that will prove to be her downfall or increase her chances at survival only battle mods can tell.

8. Clumsiness
While Senka claims that it is unintentional, blaming it on her lack of proper control in her fingers, she is exceptionally clumsy. She would drop plates, be unable to catch things thrown in her direction or trip over the door sill even though she already stepped over it. This clumsiness, to a certain extent, extends onto the battlefield, where she will excel in a general lack of proper coordination, to the point where she will draw her weapon and point it at her enemy, only for it to fly off into a direction she did not even swing it at. This becomes worse when she actually tries to throw something, resulting in mean but hilarious moments at her expense.

When looking at her face, nobody would suspect it, but to a certain degree it is but an act. While she certainly lacks control in some joints and muscles, still claiming unhealed places in her body, at other times she will exploit the unpredictability of her body to dodge fatal attacks or trip before falling into a trap.

It does not help that she loves to set off traps anyways.

Damage Type: Unarmed - Handseals
Accuracy: +2
Accuracy Type: Melee
Basic Damage: 135
Augments:
- Chain Link: Any weapon currently equipped with this augment may not be disarmed by any means. (RPed as the stitches on her body... and the fact that her body can't be disarmed)
- Vanguard: +5% Damage Reduction while this weapon is equipped. While in Defensive Stance, this amount is increased to +10% Damage Reduction.
- Steady: When a weapon with this augment is used while in Defensive Stance, this reduces the accuracy penalties of Defensive Stance by half.

9. Initiative
Strangely enough, as Senka appears to be slow and sluggish in her movements when she did not literally employ Chakra as a crutch, she was quick on the uptake and was able to discern situations that might escalate quicker than most. She would ready herself for battle even before there were any obvious signs of one approaching, granting her a slight edge against aggressors. However, this little difference is not noteworthy as she would usually take the opportunity to flee the battlefield, or poke fun at the laws of the universe which would compel her into actually readying herself into battle, even if she used the zero-stance, an unpredictable combat ready position that allowed all forms of actions and reactions with nothing to give them away.
