I didn't bother with the chakra papers and such like most of the shinobi around the village. I am and always have been the sort of woman who understands what she wants and what her ambitions were. In the beginning phases of my training I took up the earth style ninjutsu and I believed it suited me quiet harmoniously. It was stubborn and strong willed, it was unshaken and unwavering in the face of any adversary. So yes that was me and what I wanted to be a master of. In no time I assumed greater training over the earth element. The next stage and evolution of earth jutsu. The metal style was the greatest form of earth jutsu. It was twice as sturdy and twice as strong. For me to accomplish mastery of such an element I had to become twice as strong. I had to become unmovable, my resolve had to become twice as solid along with my morals and I needed to be twice as grounded. Metal jutsu took strength to master like no other. Packing earth tighter together using the strongest minerals took focus, skill, and patients. This type of jutsu provided for the ultimate defense and the ultimate offense. I trained day in and day out to master the manipulation and channeling of my chakra to be as solid as steel. In no time at all I had mastered the earth jutsu and had obtained mastery of it's bigger brother, metal ninjutsu, It was now my weapon of choice, literally speaking. I was able to use metal ninjutsu in order to fashion my own weapons and even my armor. My weapons were stronger and lighter, plus with my new found ability, I could manipulate the shapes for versatility. My armor, was sturdy but light, fit for battle.

Paper

Not all great jutsu are created through carful planning and insight. Not all jutsu are developed through hard work and intense training either. Some jutsu are discovered by someone after it has been over looked for many years before. Paper jutsu might have been just one type of jutsu that has been a statistic of this form of discovery for many years. But why is that? We use paper almost everyday and especially if you are in an administration position like myself in which case you see mountains of paperwork a day. It seems pretty scary then when you walk into your office to find a surprise stack waiting on you. On the field we use paper explosives and even seal jutsu on paper scrolls and use paper in many different ways and so why is it that no one uses paper jutsus? My discovery of paper ninjutsu was completely by accident as I described before. I was filing paperwork and by misfortune experienced one of those infamous paper cuts. I like to think I have really rough hands for a woman, especially since I did master earth ninjutsu and metal ninjutsu a like. Such a strange thing to be cut by something so delicate and flimsy. That's when it hit me actually. I began to feel something in the paper. It was traces of earth from which it was manufactured from. Before long I found myself in a field attempting to manipulate paper using my chakra. It was different than what I was use to. It wasn't heavy by no means and it was far from sturdy however it was formidable all the same. It's number of uses was unmatched with any sort of ninjutsu I had ever came across and so I continued to develop paper style jutsu.

Sand
Sand is a naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. It is defined by size, being finer than gravel and coarser than silt. The composition of sand varies, depending on the local rock sources and conditions. In terms of particle size as used by Shinobi, sand particles range in diameter from 0.0625 mm (or 1⁄16 mm) to 2 mm. An individual particle in this range size is termed a sand grain. Sand grains are between gravel with particles ranging from 2 mm up to 64 mm and silt particles smaller than 0.0625 mm down to 0.004 mm. The size specification between sand and gravel has remained constant for more than a century, but particle diameters as small as 0.02 mm were considered sand under the standard. I say all of this not to give you a school house lesson or a text book lesson on sand but to allow you to see just how complicated manipulating sand for sand jutsu can be. Fortunately for me, I am no stranger to earth stlye jutsu and all though this requires much more focus and skill than the other earth based jutsu I have taught myself, it is still with in my capability. To make things simple, in order for me to manipulate sand to perform sand ninjuts, I must first break down the minerals in the ground or earth around me using my chakra. It's honestly takes time to do but because of it being so fine, it becomes hard to detect and twice as lethal as any other earth ninjutsu there is. Combining these finely grinded earth particles make for extremely useful skills and abilities. For example, I have never been the greatest when it came to using the clone jutsu but with sand ninjutsu, my clones are stronger than the best.

Learning Gravity​

It had been some time since Amaya had come to Sunagakure where she would alternate between business and pleasure. At several points she even decided to do a mixture of the two and indulge in a bit of training. In her perfession, such things were common however, while some trained to hone their ability, Amaya simply routine to ensure her claws were ever so sharp as the portentous name she'd parade suggested, Fang. She would occasionally pick among the strongest challengers of the Toraono Dojo to spar with only to barely recieve a proper warm up. Even still, however, there were a few times were her over inflated ego almost got the better of her causing some serious close calls. At those moments, strangely enough, she could feel herself capable of what she had once become disillusioned with... In her earlier years of shinobi hood, Amaya once took the paper chakra test in order to receive advance training on the fundamentals of chakra nature, however, even as a promising disciple, the nature in which she had procured, the lightening element, would find her unworthy. Safe to say that she had zero talent for the nature despite what the chakra papers drew from her. Instead, Amaya became a master of its counter part, earth element Ninjutsu in not just it's pure forum but others such as Metal, Sand, and even Paper. Each was developed at a different period in her life and each could be felt in the heat of battle, maturing. She was feeling something new however. Something deep with in herself, something dormit had awaken. It was unfamiliar and with it came the urge to revisit roads she had once forsaken. She would train in battle as she felt the strange resistance from her palms to the earth she commanded. It was as if she could move the earth with her will but not just move it. An unexplainable feeling, a phenomenon. She could feel the earth and now she could feel the invisible force attracting it and everything toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass. This development was like an algorithm had just clicked in her mind, connecting the dots in such a way. Her lightning affinity was true but in the most unexpected way. In time Amaya would create and master jutsu of earth in a new way...

If you don't use it then you would lose it. A common saying you'd hear when you were in a professional environment require a high demand in training to remain proficient in skills learned or picked up. Amaya's usual gifted talent of improvisation became obsolete once she developed a habbit of preparation in advance using complex strategy and tactics. She spent her time improving her pre battle tactics using insight gained from various battles in her past. With better preparation came the easier victorious unrequiring of quick improvising. And so a perishable skill became just that. For if you don't use it...

Learning Fire chakra style wc 102
The Fire release creates intense flames from chakra and is only obtainable when a shinobi has Mastered the art of both chakra control, nature manipulation and shape manipulation. The fire release is known for its destructive power and only true masters can be tame such power without bringing destruction upon themselves. The usurpation of Fire is no easy feat however, in time one can gain mastery and develop it in unique ways. Amaya learned to harness said power to increase her destructive power by channeling it's essence into her blades. Each strike would carry with it the cruelty of scorch and chaos.

As it turned out, back flips were a good source of trying when it came to an attempt at increasing ones nimblness and flexibility. It also served as a great source for cardiovascular strengthening and endurance. With an extra ordinary fitness and endurance, one could pull off complex maneuvers and even use said maneuvers deceptively to avoid unwanted offensive by the opponent. All shinobi were capable of this but of course such strenuous motion would have an adverse effect on the user disallowing such complex motion for a short time however, when you train as hard as Amaya does, complex motions are nothing less than second nature.

Learning Weapon Mastery slashing
What is a sword? A twenty-four inch sharpen piece of refined steal? How does one master a blade? These are questions leading the path towards sword mastery. The desire for battle meets the desire to innovate and discover beyond a twenty-four inch piece of steel, creating new ways to transform a simple Weapon into something divine. Amaya would explore the path of swordsmen ship in order to chase her dreams of being the best and the strongest shinobi who'd ever live. She knew that this path would be arduous but in time she'd use her blade to carve her own place in history.

They say poison is a woman's Weapon of choice. This is perhaps a gender jab in some ill attempt to shame woman but only the weak would take offense to this. Poison is a slow killer, eating away at a victims will and body from the inside out. Painful and deceptive as it is a concealed Weapon. They say that a real man would rather his opponent see his weapon, his might so that they would know who put them down. Such foolish bravado is perhaps men didn't have the same life expectancy as woman. In the world of shinobi, Deception was everything. There was no need for honor or a fair bout. No, a woman's Weapon of choice would invoke her ire. It would make you suffer. It would bring even the mightiest of men down to their knees. A weapon which was cunning and effective was a weapon Amaya would invest in.

There are a few special personality traits that add to one's ability to be an extraordinary shinobi. One who is careful, subtle, more precise tend to develop more proficiently as a shinobi. They develop not only the mind but the skill to disable enemy forces, applying the necessary force for a swift and tactical victory. This however comes with proper training and experience as to be expected when trying to preform in live combat. Ones life is placed on the line and to assure not only victory but also staying alive in the end requires such a skill and train of thought.

I think people understand things differently when they get older... I don't believe that it's a question of getting soft or seeing things in the gray areas rather than in the black and white. I really just believe that I am understanding things different... better... wiser. With age leaves behind a trail called time and along that trail were many battles each rewarding a scar, bruises, broken bones... with each battle, these rewards came few and fewer as wisdom replaced and preparation became routine. Sometimes it could mean the difference within a decisive battle. No one knows how things will turn out but the well prepared can better their chances.

No one really knows just whay they are... however, they just know that there is something dark inside of them. They hide it... they certainly don't talk about it, but it's there always, this Dark Passenger. But some come to terms with him. Some learn to let him take the wheel... And when he's driving, they feel alive, half sick with the thrill of complete wrongness. They don't fight him, they don't want to. For Amaya, her's is all she has. Nothing else could love her, not even... especially not herself. Or is that just a lie the Dark Passenger tells her? A simple lie that lead her to recieve it's Sigel... it's gate way to the wheel...

There is beauty in a cut, a gash, perhaps not to the differ of observational opinon coming from the faint of heart or the easily squeamish, but to those who pride themselves as both shinobi and artists, true beauty can be captured in the moments and after when the life was once but slowly fades. Though Amaya mastered all of the earth style jutsu, because they came natural to her, her affinity has always been of the lightening style element. For the longest time however, she had not taken an interest in her natural element but instead avoided the idea of doing so. It wasn't until change was forced upon her that she would start to explore this option. With her curse seal afflicting her chakra, she soon lose her connection to the flow of most chakra elements. It was this that called her to train using the lightening element. The one element she had abandoned and the one element that had not abandoned her. In time she'd show mastery and deep potiental in the different usages and forms it could take allowing her to weaponize a lightening form an fighting technique.

Unlearning Acrobatics--> Learning Quick reaction [200+]
Complex motions and maneuvers are great if you want to join a circus or put on some silly side show in order to make money on a random corner in downtown Suna. Just how viable was such acrobatics in a combat environment? Very viable according to some, however, if not coupled with the experience needed to actively gauge your enemy and the ability to keep your mind as fast and flexible as your movements... then what was the point? An opponent may cause you to stand at the defensive but that does not mean one should forego those opportunities available when doing so. With the proper balance of acrobatics and reaction, one could open up countless possibilities once unavailable to them. Every shinobi knows that one of the key skills one needs to be successful in the shinobi business is speed. There is no avoiding that fact. It could make all the difference and plenty of situations especially in a business were your own death is an occupational hazard. How you obtain speed is entirely up to you but Amaya understood the importance of being just a little bit quicker than her opponent. War would teach anyone this. She had to be just a little bit faster if not with her hand seals then how fast she drew her weapon. She didn't have to be the fastest in the world but just fast enough for a preemptive strike.

Unlearning Poison Mastery--> learning Elemental Aura [200+]
Though poison is an effective tool in combat, infecting foes inner functions, hindering their abilities to change the tieds out of their favor, very deceptive in up holding what it means to be a shinobi. But as time progresses, evolution works against these bio weaponry as individuals inevitably build a toxic resistance. This contradicts the validity of poisons being a great deceptive tool as it's uses become obsolete. Instead, putting ones efforts in other aspects would likely bear bountiful fruit. Amaya discovered this early on and decided to set her sights and training else where for the purpose of progression.
Amaya knew early in her training back at the academy what her natural element was. Chakra paper, the antiquated way of discovering ones chakra nature but still effective and at that time, mandatory to progress in the training program. She didn't think much of it at the time and though her natural element was discovered to be lightening, she took more of a liking to earth based jutsu. Who would have thought that she begin to lose her edge with earth based jutsu due to the marinating of dark chakra from her cursed seal. This forced her to adjust to her natural element, lightening style, and in doing so she made a few discoveries. Her affinity to lightening allowed for easier control and flexibility she had not had with other jutsu types.

Unlrearn Strategist and Weapon Mastery slashing--> Learning Jutsu Expansion and initiative [400+]
After mastering a Jutsu, most shinobi see it possible to keep their skills polished and familiar all while moving on to the next big jutsu to master. With so many jutsu in the world and newer jutsu created weekly or even daily, it would take several lifetimes to not only learn them all but also grasp a full mastery of them individually. Most shinobi live by this philosophy that it is their everyday duty to master their jutsu in order to be an effective and proper shinobi worthy to carry the banner of their proud villages. They wish to be the best use to their people and in order to accomplish their goal, the seeketh an endless quest for knowledge. This isn't wrong, this code of honor. Nor is it wrong that a shinobi would just have a curiosity about the many diverse jutsu in the world and have that being the main reason they seek out more and more to master. However, their are shinobi who see little value in seeking what most of the others seek. They don't seek out the newer more flashy jutsu as they know a tiring restless road ahead. Some shinobi practice a form of content. The act of stability and simplicity. Once Amaya was one of the many to seek out and to stay current on the many jutsu to be learned but as time went on, she grew weary of the rat race and the struggle to keep a minimum Mastery of what she had learned. Through out her many battles she had come to realize something valuable about combat and that is that quantity does not compensate for quality. Knowing several jutsu at such an average Mastery did not give you an advantage against a foe likely doing the exact same thing and think he too had an edge. This was an eye opener and a strong realization that perhaps there was another way, a road less taken. Before long Amaya was planning her arsenal for survivability and adaptability. She had chosen a number of jutsu of favorites that took her eye and required a great deal of discipline in order to begin a sort of remedial training for herself. She had learned these jutsu from different masters and each had their own way of teaching. This time, however, the master to be teaching these jutsu was none other than herself and who better knew her strengths and weaknesses and could train to a maximum potential. The earth bending enthusiast spent many many months training in the harsh desserts of Sunagakure in order to induce maximum strain and difficulty. The amount of difficulty was indescribable however, though strong will and drive, Amaya was able accomplish her goals. Taking her jutsu to the next level, some the likes of which no one has ever seen.
