Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

In an emerald green and teal track suit Kamaru jogged out onto the proving grounds in the early morning before the prearranged time. It was a bit chilly but between the coming sunshine and working out he figured he’d warm up quick enough for it to not matter. He was surprised to get an offer from the instructor considering their last run in left the man embarrassed and humiliated. Kamaru couldn’t figure out if he was trying to suck up to him in some way or get payback in some form. Regardless the man had an average rating for teaching so Kamaru took it at face value. From what Kamaru could figure the larger man taught through repetition and with it slowly building muscle memory for the body.
Seeing the man in shorts and a lunge shirt setting up a chair and umbrella wasn’t what Kamaru expected as he showed up. ”Morning Boss… I figure you want to stretch out and get warmed up first?” the man said as he plopped down into the chair and nestled into a position where he seemed to be comfortable.

”Morning…I’m mostly warmed up from the jog and mostly loosened up. For most part I’m ready to go.” Kamaru stated.

The man shrugged and asked for the paperwork on what Kamaru thought should be taught for a basic class on unarmed Taijutsu techniques and was handed a binder once Kamaru pulled a scroll out unfurling it and producing the binder from a puff of smoke. Taking the binder the man simply stated for the techniques he wanted to train to do each 100 times as he started to read. Kamaru shrugged and started to do as instructed.

As the man flipped through it looked fairly decent for someone who was new to the school but the format led him to believe someone was already sucking up to the man and showing him things. He grumbled a bit internally and looked over at Kamaru raising an eyebrow since he seemed to be stretching.

”You going to start any time soon Sir?” the man inquired taking on a teacher like tone.

”I’m already done, did it twice since you seemed busy reading. What’s next?” Kamaru admitted.

The man’s eye twitched. ”Well since you’re already done them 200 times how about you give me two more sets of 200 hundred…I’ll watch your form this time to make comments.” the man stated as he thought to himself Kamaru was trying to make a fool out of him, a novice couldn’t be that quick.

Kamaru stopped stretching his back and shrugged as his balance shifted his fists snaking out from being close to his body as a guard with his fists could be seen recoiling. Kamaru’s clothes quieted his moments to most just a soft swashing of cloth. Kamaru suddenly dropping to the ground with his leg sweeping out with his hands repositioning himself as he continued the process of alternating his legs for the kicks, the grass around him swayed violently from his rapid movements. As Kamaru darted up his leg came up about to his waist the force lifting him off the ground as he spun to land on the leg as his other leg kicked up backwards as he looked over his shoulder. This odd hopping when on for a bit before Kamaru stopped going into another series of punches that blurred almost to the naked eye. His fist slowed down repeating a striking motion that slowly grew as rush of wind around his first pushed forth before he went into knife hand strikes or two finger jabbing attacks.

”That’s two.” Kamaru explained several minutes later.

Watching Kamaru the man had been caught up and hadn’t watched his form. While Kamaru flexed his hands and kicked shoes into the ground to adjust his feet inside them the man started thinking this wasn’t good. He had planned to see Kamaru working hard and this taking a while he hadn’t expected the man to be actually experienced in doing this sort of thing.

”You’re uh… not really a beginner at this, are you?” the man asked curious.

”With these techniques yes, I just bought them recently and studying up, but I’m not a beginner to Taijutsu from working in the field and before I started working as a shinobi.” Kamaru stated.

The man’s mind raced as he tried to figure out what to do next. His tormenting of Kamaru hadn’t even begun and the guy was through all his plans for messing with him in the first hour.

”What’s next?” finally realizing what was probably on the man’s mind.

Pointing at some dummies the man explained he’d like to see Kamaru’s other techniques since he was experienced. The man tried to hide the glee as Kamaru moved towards the wooden dummy, how was Kamaru to know the frame was metal inside the wood figure. Some of the instructors practiced Magnetic Style in their off time. He waited as Kamaru set on a jab and stopped looking at the wooden dummy.

Kamaru couldn’t figure it out the sound was off, he had hit wooden dummies before so for caution he thought for a bit putting on his gloves for brawling and went to a fire style chakra stance. His fists danced on fire across the dummy shattering off chunk after chunk of wood. Suddenly crouching his fist jammed into the underside of the dummies head region and exploded upwards with fire.

Looking at the man’s shocked expression Kamaru simply stated he figured the metal frame was there to mask a skeleton for those situations where you needed to disable people without breaking limbs or killing them. Asking if there was anything else Kamaru got a head shake no from the man and a thumb up. Stating he was going for a jog to cool down and thanking the man got mostly a head nod for acknowledgement. As Kamaru left the dummy with the internal metal frame fell apart. He was glad he hadn’t opted to spar with Kamaru face to face.
