Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Nobuyuki approached the gates with a small pack on his back, his intentions obvious to whoever had the luck of dealing with him that day. His passport was shiny and new, with a horrible picture of him inside of it. But it was up to date on most information, save for his actual rank within ANBU. Should he need to visit another village, his identity would be compromised! Instead it read as 'chunnin.'

Whoever did happen to help him, he'd simply say "Hello." and hand over his passport for checking. If they had questions, he'd be happy to answer them to the best of his ability. Unless of course they pertained to why he was taking the trip. That was classified.

Of course, you as the reader aren't them. Nobuyuki was on his way to some individuals out in Wind country to pick up a yearly report for the ANBU branch.

Another droll day of guard duty. Kyōshi turned to his partner, some nameless shinobi whom he didn't care enough about to get acquainted with, and shook his head. He assumed that when he left the ANBU, guard duty shifts would slow down. Turns out he was wrong. He took a cigarette from his pack and pulled out his lighter, leaning against the walls of the gate. He was lighting it when he saw a figure approaching from the inside. By watching his gait pattern, Kyōshi could tell who this was already. Matsuura Nobuyuki, ANBU Captain. He turned to meet him before the entrance of the gate and extended his hand, his lit cigarette still dangling from his mouth. This man was an expert smoker, however, and could talk clearly past the burning toxic fume stick in his mouth. "Hey there. Passport?" Kyōshi kept the small talk minimal. He was here on a job, and Nobuyuki was clearly heading somewhere. No time to waste. He flipped open the passport and glanced down. "Seems as if you got demoted. Checks out." Kyōshi handed the passport back to the traveler and let him through the gates. Kyōshi chuckled to himself as he returned to his wall, leaning up against it and taking a drag. "Chuunin.. Right."

"Seems that way. Thank you highly sir~" replied the Captain, giving a nod towards the man whom he was familiar with. Gate duty was indeed the worst job in the village, though, it did provide an income that wasn't based on success or failure. The young man quickly set off on his journey, using chakra to augment his running. He didn't want to take too long while the village was still Kageless.
