From the highest watchtowers to the wealthiest manors, the humblest dojos, and the most-noble stations, rumors were adrift in the Village Hidden in the Clouds. There was excitement brewing— word of a tournament, testing the battle might of all the world’s greatest fighters. It was a rare opportunity; the chance to represent our nation on the grandest stage possible, going head to head against the best competitors the shinobi nations had to offer. A herald came foretelling of the event in a grand invitation, and now the Hidden Cloud has begun its search for three worthy competitors.
Perhaps the event could have begun in a grander fashion, but the quiet option was chosen this time around. A single conference room was allocated for applications on the 2nd floor of the Torre Celeste. Within the room were two everyday shinobi on staff; one with the honor of notarizing and collecting the apps, and the other to keep the process secure of any rabble-rousing.
Each applicant who came to apply would find the desk and that eager clerk who’d direct them to the sign-up procedure. It was simple: follow the instructions and the chosen competitors would be notified in advance of the tournament. There were a number of qualifications in consideration for selecting the competitors, with battle prowess at the top, and reputation following closely behind. With so many competitors expected to submit their names, the Hidden Cloud intended to have its most exemplary shinobi represent it on the World Stage.
The Application Form
Name: (Name as registered in Land of Lightning Citizenship)
Rank: (Recognized shinobi rank within Hidden Cloud)

Why You Should Represent the Hidden Cloud: (Please list your notable accomplishments, qualities of character, and why you are the best pick for representing the village.)

OC Notes: Applications will be accepted through October 23rd, and from there, considerations will be made for all applicants. Leading up to the Tournament there will be threads involving the applicants in a process of narrowing down the numbers (if necessary), and preparations by Cloud to ensure its shinobi are up to the task. Your activity is the most prominent requirement for participating. So appear in-character and sign up!
