Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Current Ninpocho Chronicles Time:

She arrives before dawn with hesitation in each step. Worries crowd and cloud her mind as the stunning structure becomes closer to her. Master Masuda Ava did not think of herself as a master of much, only the master of the swordsman that plays the part of guardian and instructor. Courage is only one of the several traits carried by those called samurai, and those of the Masuda Linage are expected to carry an abundance of it. Fortunately she did not carry the honor title of a full-fledge Samurai, less she shame the Masuda name, or so she believes. 'Worry exposes fear. No, worry IS fear. Just speak. Just act.'

A great door comes in sight before too long and yet in reach much sooner than expected with all of the thoughts that cross her mind. She raises a hand and forms a fist, lowering sooner after. Breathing deeply, she lifts her hand again only to find that she does not have the strength to keep it lifted. Turning away from the door she shakes her hands to ready herself. This maybe what some consider physic'ing one's self up. Find the strength for a third time she lifts her right fist, then decides to catch her right wrist in her left hand before it drops. She then forces her hand against the door lightly three times before dropping them into her coat pockets.

Kyojin Kuro opened the entrance and noting the familiar young lady the stalwart war avatar of Kuro took a distinct bow dropping to one knee to greet Lady Masuda Ava. Kyojin Kuro stood at seven feet and weighed in at four hundred and fifty pounds. He wore a sand camouflage pattern heavy armor made of Takahashi fire-forged steel with matte-black transformation seals allowing it to switch from desert colors to pitch black dependent on Kuro’s vocal command or four tap sonic patterned code along his right thigh plate. Kyojin Kuro wore a matching belt and sheath around his waist where he had sheathed a pair of blade attachments for his battle gauntlets. Kyojin Kuro wore his battle pouch atop the belt it was a simple lizard leather pouch but easily camouflaged by rubbing it with sand or crushed stone if ever necessary just above his right hip. Kyojin Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his left armored thigh just atop his silk gi shorts. A convenient slot in the multi-folded steel of his left thigh armor allowed Kyojin Kuro full access to his items without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it. Securing his Takahashi forged battle guards and lower leggings were Kyojin Kuro’s enhanced runic terran sealed leather wraps for his hands, forearms, shins and feet. Kyojin Kuro had wrapped his armored tail around his belt making it appear that Kuro wore a belt of armor resembling hand-sized reinforced double blades. Kyojin Kuro wore his mane of silver hair in tight war braids in ancient ceremonial fashion making his oxen horns much more pronounced but also making him look like a serious battle veteran, massive chakra gems implanted into his flesh and endoskeletal structure stood out on the back of his hands. The chakra gem in his left hand was emerald green with a spiral of a star in its center, if you looked at it closely and long enough one could see where it interfaced with the flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. The chakra gem in his right hand was ruby red with a six point star in its center, this one also interfaced with his flesh and bone with tiny bio crystal circuits. These carmot stones allowed Kuro to dramatically pulse chakra throughout this body which was now one of the keys to his defensive capabilities. It also allowed him to control his metabolic rate at a degree he had never believed was possible. His dark flesh was runed with runic terran seals and tattoos. His horns looked as if they were part of his armor along with his gems but the discerning eye would know that they were part of this giant warrior's body. One of two avatars that did not look exactly like Kuro's natural form Kyojin Kuro was secretly his father's favorite version of his wayward son since this form of his son was actually the same size as Kaibudo and easier for Kaibudo to associate with. As rumors would have it, many thought that Kyojin as he called himself was secretly Kaibudo's love child with some foreign nomad. In many ways the rumors were true so neither Kuro, Lady Azame, or Kaibudo did anything to dispel them. It actually brought a bit of mirth to their lives for those whom did not know of Kuro's true condition to try and figure out who Kyojin's mother was.

"Welcome back Lady Masuda, how may we of the Toraono Dojo assist you in your visit?"<i></i>

The Man-tiger might find the eyes of a 4'11" young lady pried open with awe and wonderment staring back at him. Despite him taking the submissive position of a bow, he still may topple the youth in the measure of height less he bring his head near he knees. Her mouth agape, she studies this familiar figure that seems indescribably different for her from months before. Yet this is not in reference to the attire of the other-worldly being, which is far different from the armor he first appeared in. To Ava, there is nothing about him, nor even on him that is of this world.

He speaks to her, greeting her, formally offering service. Though not intending to whisper, "Hi," would be the only word she could push out at this moment. She starts to lean forward a little before feet start to catch her. The Fire Native indulges her need to see. Taking no less than five seconds per step, she attempt to strafe the greater being. Jeweled gauntlets, alien hieroglyphics, a weaponized tail,... these were things no one born under the protection of the Fire Daimyo would see in the flesh. Although home to a class of warrior well known, the Samurai and the part of the Fire Country they call home, as well as those that inhabit that land, are highly sheltered culturally.

He's attire holds a pattern however that she,... MAY have seen before. And then it hits her, she has seen some of this before the first time they met. She finds herself a little confused, not understanding why,... she felt confused. 'Maybe it has been the long exposure to the heat here. Perhaps this is why I feel odd,' she reasons to herself. "You,... you remembered me?" she asks, somewhat surprised. This surprise would be pleasing to her she asks though. Yet, if Kuro were to ask the very same, she knows her answer would be swift. Although unable to visit the Toraono Complex, it was nearly all she dreamed about.

The eyes of the Last Masuda dart everywhere about Kuro as she reaches her hands to touch his face, yet the horns of the Demon-blood give her reason to pause. She drops her hands before taking a step in apology. "I am sorry." Her eyes dart about, now avoiding direct line of sight of the Tiger-Man altogether. Her breathing gets heavier as she takes a step toward him again. "There is something I must do... You may not understand,... but it must be done," Ava states. At this point she lowers her head to attempt to duck under the horns of the creature, with the goal being to deliver a kiss on his right cheek. Whatever fate may hold, she may immediately find herself taking a few steps back and turning to her left in a near hyperventilation state. Her eyes wide staring at the ground as her hands hold back her hair.

Kyojin would accept the kiss with a quick yet humble smile. "While I don't understand why you would want or need to kiss one such as I, I do humbly accept it. So what are you apologizing for and why would any of us fail to remember you or your guardian since your last visit?" Kyojin Kuro would open the entrance to the dojo unaware as to why it was necessary for her to kiss him. His armor was both bio metallic and actual platemail so it moved with her touch very easily. So long as she didn't move her hand in a motion that generated offensive speed his armor would not react.

The smile of the tiger titan of a man calms Ava a bit, she returns a smile of her own. She did not need to wonder too much about his acceptance nor his understanding of the gesture as he openly speaks of both subjects. She assumes that Kuro might not know of human displays of affection. The taller guardian opens the door to the manner after he asks why Ava or Shoma would be forgettable, drawing the Masuda's face toward his direction. To her the answer is simply that "Well I... I had not counted the Otandai or myself very rememberable, more so the latter. You uh... you all must have many unique visitors frequent this place. I thought, 'Who is another girl from Stone Country and her guardian?' "

Although still quite a bit self-conscience, the Young Master turns to step slow toward the way made by the Sand Guardian. She would enter in passing him and address the other subject matter, while her hands still brush her hair away from her face as a form of worried fidgeting. "I did... what I did... because I had to. What I mean is this, I have wanted to for... so long. And... I apologized to you because...*sigh* I did not know how you might... receive such an act or gesture." As she states so, she remains facing more inwardly toward the center of the structure rather at the Demon-blood himself, less walks into her line of sight.

If she needs to, she turns to face him now placing her hands in front of herself holding her left wrist. The Heiress of Masuda let out a small chuckle and small yet joyous grin. "Over the past few months, I thought a lot about you. I felt something the last time we met. It... was a feeling stronger than the other time we met before. I have continued to practice the sword arts, but now I,... I wanted to. I wanted to raise my value as a martial artist, to be closer to acceptable in this place. I desired to do better because,... ....I desired to be with you, and now I am umm,... I mean to say that I am here. Have you thought about me these past few months?... these past months..." A face that had been growing in glee slowly starts to lose it happiness, as she remembers the other reason for her being here. As some would say, there is always something.

Kyojin Kuro was taken aback for a moment then settled rather quickly. It seemed that Lady Masuda had developed a crush or some particular liking for the Toraono men. As long as he handled her feelings carefully and was honest at all times Kuro in any of his forms did not seem too worried. He did have a quite a few women interested in him as of late. Something was odd about that, his wife had left him, Amaya had become interested in him and now Lady Masuda admits that she had feelings for him as well. This was very odd for Kuro, he had six forms but he was certain he could not have six separate lives. Two or three separate lives at best anything else would be unmanageable even with his sage abilities. Still he might be able to interest Lady Masuda in a younger more available member of the Toraono Clan if nothing else occurred. Yanjirou was around her age and their union would be far better for the diplomacy of Sunagakure and lands outside of Wind Country. Still that was just a thought, Lady Masuda was still of noble blood and they tended to want what they wanted and only what they wanted. Time would tell...

"Actually many at the dojo besides myself have missed your presence and your earnest desire to master yourself. Mother asked about you and if you had sent any correspondence. I myself have wondered what skills you might have come up with in your time away. While we discuss these matters let me get you inside where you can receive refreshment and rest. There is also the question of your guardian, will he be joining us as well? "<i></i>

Ava listens to Kuro's response, hoping and choosing to receive the use of the word 'besides' as inclusive and not exclusive. She is a little surprised to learn that the two Fire Natives had made a lasting impression. She prays in thought however, 'Please oh please, do not ask to see my skills with a sword. I am only good enough to be given a sword and infantry status as I am sent to the front lines as, I believe the term is cannon fodder.' Although she had taken her training more seriously, she could not see herself as being able to even compete against the likes of Shoma nor some of the enemies he has faced. She assumes that she would only embarrass herself and the family name further, much like when the pair entered the village.

She nods to him, ready to head further inside, and ready to address her reasoning for doing all of this so early in the morning. "Yes, but you need not trouble yourself in service. I am well as I am." She did not want him to leave so soon, even for a moment,... unless nature were to call of course. Wherever he may lead, she would follow. "My guardian Shoma,... although not to be in attendance, is the reason why I am here at such an hour." She would hold the rest of her explanation until they would come to the point of rest that the Toraono had mentioned, or asked to continue.

"Shoma and I have been stay in the hospital these past few months. He had received injury as a result of a dispute involving a demon, samurai, and other shinobi in the Sky Country. His injury however is not only physical, for his ability to trust is equally scarred. He has grown bitter, and every mention or use of words demon, shinobi, or ninja, changes his mood negatively. Now he believes you have ties to the demon responsible for much of the chaos at the incident I spoke of before. I have convinced him that he needs more rest, but he will come soon... I do not know how to diffuse this. I can not simply order him to remain at distance for my command over him is limited due to his heritage, for now... It is a long explanation." At this point, she plants her face in her hands releasing a great sigh, as her worry grows.

Kyojin Kuro smiled triumphantly at her explanation. "That is something that can easily be dispelled, as by blood only full demons hold sway over other demons, the demon blooded only display the power of our progenitors and hold no true allegiance to our sire's or matrons. We are mortal enough to choose who and what we are and not only do we have written evidence, these very walls and the family's that make up the Toraono Clan are a true attestment to that. We can heal his fractured psyche, but only time can restore his trust. We can give him the facts and our honor but only he can choose to believe in them. Although for Samurai and their adherence to honor then that too should be an easy display. He will neither be injured nor harmed should he come and draw his blade, we are more than capable of shedding our own blood for those we consider friends. Lay your worries aside you are with friends and friends we shall forever be no matter what comes. Now tell me of your training needs and we shall set aside time to dispel the thought that you are mere 'cannon fodder', that is no way to speak of a lady. You are a treasure, you are wrath incarnate, and the love of a blade for its mistress is uncontested. I think it is high time that we introduced you to a blade that can complete you and remove the fears and worries from your nature. What do you say Lady Masuda?"<i></i>

Kyojin Kuro walked with Lady Masuda to an open foyer where he would communicate with one of the vault guards through an alternate avatar to ready the access to the sacred blade vault where 300 soul blades awaited a master. The Beast blades were already reserved but anyone could choose and master a soul blade as they empowered it with both psyche and personality, the power within the blades only magnified and took on the potential of the wielder. The beast blades carried the power of the beasts whose souls were bonded to them, they were inherently far more dangerous and required great strength of will to wield them lest the bestial soul within take over the wielder.

Kuro attempts to put Ava's worried mind at ease, and it works, to a degree. It seems to her that she could trust in Shoma's safety while in Toraono territory. However, she could not trust the inverse prospective. She could do THAT, but she never wants that to be an option. The best she could think to do is to be there as a buffer when Shoma comes, for 'He is bound to appear here. Maybe he could learn to trust the Toraono's, even if they are called shinobi.'

The Toraono then begins to speak of the sword arts as he showers her in praise. To be compared to a treasure melts the inside of her, for she nearly cries when hearing such a tender statement. Yet, the thought of her being wrath incarnate swiftly interrupts her the would-be waterworks, as she feels this is comical due to it being more than a bit of a stretch. She tightens her lip to keep herself from laughing, at least until the demon is done speaking. With a fist to her mouth, "Pfffhahaha!" Ava folds over a little as she continues laughing whilst holding her stomach. as she straightens, she starts to waves hands and shake her head in protest. "Wrath Incarnate?! Not I. You jest, and you do it well. As it stands for now, at least from what I have seen of other fighters, one such as I would be better off serving lemonade and boosting morale from the sidelines for now." The Masuda remembers and recounts the many times Shoma has placed faith on a supposed "feeling" that she might get a certain practice correct with the incentive of his health; the results would have sent her guardian into retirement or the afterlife over 12 time if she were using an unsheathed sword.

The Young Master begin to walk with Kuro stating, "But yes, it would be nice to see some of the swords that you..." She recollects something, 'Wait,...he said cannon fodder. No, he said the 'thought of me being cannon fodder. Did I say that out loud? I do not believe that I have. It must be simply my imagining.' She keeps her pace and squinting her eyes as one who lacks understanding would do. She decides to continue the thought she started before, "I mean to say, it would be nice to see some of the swords that you possess here in this dojo. Something that will not hurt me so badly if I mess up." Upon reaching the hall of blades, the Masuda opens her eyes at a great width. Without words she would attempt to browse around, least she be spoken to. If left to her own devices, her inspection of most of the 300 swords would take a while.

Kyojin Kuro nodded to her to take her pick but spoke aloud after she laughed about being wrath incarnate and so chose to explain his choice of words. "You may not understand it yet but ALL women are gifted in the arts of warfare, I am under the impression that you have studied in the traditional fashion and that is a great thing but to become a true instrument of one's desires your techniques and movements must be your own, not copies of what came before but improvements on the lessons you have learned that fit your needs, your physical prowess, your desires. My grandmother was eighty eight years old when she smote her last sandwyrm after it had attacked her caravan. She did not use strikes of power, she used cunning, she used skill, she used age old treachery and wrath and before anyone else could come to her aid despite the wounds she suffered the sandwyrm perished. Women ARE wrath incarnate... you need merely find your path to express it. These blades are semi sentient, but their personality should you choose one is brought forth by you. Their powers come from you, the expression of its wrath will ultimately come from you despite how they are forged and how they look when sheathed or in basic form. A soul blade can respond in amazing ways to the one that chooses it, grooms it, seeks its true name and brings forth a bond of spirit and steel."<i></i>

Sharingan Kuro stood at six feet, two inches, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds. Sharingan Kuro’s silver gray mane of hair was neatly parted and set to allow him maximum sight. With a twenty one inch neck Kuro’s hair didn’t conceal very much even as it cascaded to the center of his upper back. Violet eyes with gold slits and gold tomoe in a six point configuration peered from a chocolate brow with large ebony horns growing from where a normal man’s temples would be. He wore a sand tone obi around his thirty six inch waist. The obi allowed Sharingan Kuro to carry his honor blade in a specialized fire resistant bone sheath. This particular avatar wore his battle pouch on a second sash just above his right hip. Adjacent his sacred blade Sharingan Kuro wore a pair of collapsed fuuma shuriken, and last but not least Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his hakama just atop his fighting gi shorts with his ANBU serum and summon scrolls. A convenient cut in the silk cloth of his left hakama pants leg allowed him full access to his ANBU gear without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it.

Sharingan Kuro kept watch for Master Swordsman Shoma with Sunaku Sashi at his side.

Standing at five feet eleven inches and weighing in at a healthy, muscular, 160 pounds, Toraono Sunaku Sashi was one of the few women capable of being a ROYAL medic. Sashi was once the only adopted daughter of Toraono Kaibudo had. That was prior to his marriage to Azame although she was a distant cousin to his wife. Sashi bore a remarkable resemblance to a famous actress named Ryu Ryushi (Lucy Liu) and would be identical to her were it not for devilishly red hair. Her mother had died shortly after birth and her Grandmother had raised her till the age of six giving her a strict religious upbringing so she learned a lot about Mother Suna and healing. Her Grandmother's family was reasonably well off, so they had enough money to live comfortably. They worked as healers, medics, and entertainers for other royal families. Sashi’s hair is a lustrous vibrant crimson with gold overtones. Her eyes are normally a beautiful golden hazel like the now lost amber from the destroyed Elderwoods, but her eyes would turn crimson like her sands when her emotions surged or she called upon the sands. Sashi is all speed and ability when she wields her giant sand steel blade. Sashi’s normal habits naturally took after her mother and grandmother in that she never allowed herself to sweat without a good reason. Her soft off white two piece medic uniform made her resemble and exotic swimmer, as anyone could tell she was extremely fit with the seductive curves she sported beneath what little clothing she wore. Her skin tone is more honey brown than tan and tends to sparkle gold and crimson in the sun. She commonly wears six leather bracelets with gold seals upon each arm and beautiful silk laced/sandalwood sandals upon her feet. Around her waist is a violet and amethyst obi with pearl white threaded runic terran sigils marking her as old nobility. She too helped watch for Shoma, apparently he had been influenced to believe that Toraono Kuro had something to do with a demon or demon blooded attack upon him. More than likely a genjutsu had been used upon him. No matter between the two of them they would be able to heal his mind and psyche and return him to the state he was in before he had left the dojo if he accepted that choice.

"Really?" Ava replies shortly in the midst of Kuro's explantation of a woman's wrath. Warfare in her homeland is not often, but rather very rarely, waged by a woman. She is then told of the conquering of a great sand creature by a woman late in her years, a woman more than twice the age of her guardian. Her hope would begin to rise a little bit before she is given more on the mystic swords of their surroundings. Her heart begins to pound heavily with anticipation of the possible power she could posses. The eyes of the Masuda scans to wall, her fingertips glide from handle to handle, hoping to connect with the one she knows will be right for her.

The presence of two others make themselves known this morning. Her attention is taken from her selective process to show respect to the other inhabitants of the Toraono Manner. She bows swiftly before looking at the new pair. "Greetings Lady Sunaku Sashi. Greeting, um.... ?Brother of Kuro's?" She takes a pause as she struggles to figure out how to address two Kuro's. She knows she had seen two tiger-men once before when Shoma confessed to slaying bandits. She knows NOT that the one present at that time in the past was yet another "brother" in the tiger family. The Young Master waves a finger if to display that she understands the plot of a prank. "I had known that there were more than one. So there are two. But you said you had a sister too, did you not? How many sibling did you say you have again?" "Yes, how many demon-kin are there truly?"

[Shoma enters]
Shoma makes his presences known near the entrance of the room. He stands in his battle-worn battle attire. His outfit would a black ninja gi as the base, with the additions of dark red shin guards, knee pads, light padded torso armor, a left shoulder pauldrons, and left arm and wrist. The sword he wears at his waist is a katana with a red ribbon tied to a blue handle. Although he has not been active for very long since reentering combat, he has not gotten around to mending his armor, for his attire still much evidence of battle since he last appeared here. His clothing would merely show an attempt to clean at best. Despite this and his very location, the swordsman's posture would be of one that commanded authority.

Sharingan Kuro unaware that she and apparently the recently present Shoma may not know what bunshin are explained, "If you mean me, there are 4 distinct copies of me. I have a Sharingan form, a Songmaster form, a Summoner Close Combat form, a Healer/Swordsman form, and my original devil form. I have 3 brothers and five sisters, though only one of my sisters has true devil powers, the rest have their own elemental or pure essence skill sets. My eldest sister is the vessel for a tenchi at that. Cousin Sashi here is able to call upon wind, earth, sand, and to some extent storms. If I were to learn it, I can call upon any element although even I am not that reckless. As far as demon kin go, throughout the entire set of families that make up the Toraono clan there are only 72, myself included. I have not done a census for this year or tested any new children. We also have 12 celestial blooded, as you can imagine they are far more rare. </COLOR><i></i> Taking a brief moment to gather themselves Sashi nods to Sharingan Kuro that preparations for Shoma's arrival are complete and at the ready...
If you like Lady Masuda, I can introduce you to my brothers, but as far as I am concerned there is the original me and my 4 bunshin or copies. Through my specialized ninjutsu I have multiple forms that function in different manners."<i></i> Kuro did not mention his Kyojin form because IT was actually a secret and since he did not look exactly like Kuro due to his size making him look almost exactly like Kuro's father, Kuro, his mother, and his father would quietly maintain the massive prank that he was Kaibudo's love child with some nomad girl.

As Shoma entered Sharingan Kuro looked away from Ava and tapped Sashi on the forearm before bowing to Ava and excusing himself. "It seems that it is time to get to work after all, Kyojin will continue to show you around while we speak with your guardian. Don't worry, he will be fine and we will get him back to normal in no time at all. We promise you this Lady Masuda... If you will excuse us."

With a friendly wave Kuro and Sashi set off to speak with Shoma. Sashi had a healing chamber ready and Kuro had a set of robes and traditional samurai attire set aside in the room Shoma and Ava had used during their previous stay.

Sashi would greet Shoma with a bow without raising her head or her eyes till she got a reply while Sharingan Kuro stood by with his arms crossed and away from his sword. He did not want Shoma to feel challenged just yet as he first needed Shoma to state what had happened to him.
"Master Shoma, it is good to have you grace the dojo once more, we have been informed that you have questions and doubts about those with demon blood here and we are more than able to answer and bring relevance to anything that bothers you. Will you allow myself and Kuro to dispel any unnecessary worries that might plague you?"<i></i>

Ava would try to pay close attention to the newest Tiger-man, that she may understand what the one with strange eyes would tell her, but her Guardian's presence count not be ignored. She seems to understand the number of members and can see herself remembering such details, yet the concept of have 'Copies' seems beyond her at this time. She can comprehend the physical forms, yet it the how that stuns her thoughts. For now she accepts what she is told, "Ummm, I believe I may understand to some degree." The 'Strange Eyed Kuro' offers to show Ava an extension of his family to which she simply nods with a smile. But...

Deep concern covers the younger Fire Native's face, or one may say fear has upon Shoma's arrival. The smaller of the to great Tiger-men bows to another before suggesting that the pair be separated. "You are mistaken Demon-blood, if you wish to remove her from my sight!" "Bite back your tongue Shoma!" Ava interjects. Lifting his chin, the Swordsman's expression changes to one of utter disapproval, rather a scowl is directed toward the Young Master. "You burden me by challenging my orders this way? The orders given to me by your grand father's command?" "What do you mean by this?" ask Ava. Although she wants to go with Kyojin, the Masada knows that leaving with the taller Tiger-man could likely lead to Shoma acting in violence.

As they talk, a woman places herself at the feet of the Guardian of Fire. There were few women that would stay in his memory, yet he remembers the red-haired woman with a great sword to some degree. She would be backed by the Tiger-man with the Eye's, but where Shoma found himself intimidated before, he would not be this time. 'I will not be enticed so easily.' he resolves in thought. She begins to speak, stating to be here in order to ease Shoma's concerns. By this he is informed that his Young Master had been conversing with the Toraono. "I see," he states, pausing for a while. After a few seconds, he approaches the woman, not knowing what to think of her situation in relation to the Demon-blooded. When he draws near, he kneels down on one knee and lows his head.

Shoma then begins to speak with a sense of earnest, "I wish,... I could receive and return the greeting and honor. I cannot now, and if ever, not yet. I am grieved by an injustice. If you wish to aid me, you can by telling me this. How would you, in your laws, deal with one that would murder lawmen in the act of protecting civilians? And how would you deal with one who aids this murder?" Although this question is spoken to Sashi, he shares it with the room.

Sashi stood up perplexed by the question, "First we have an investigation as to the relevancy of the murder, we gather the facts from the scene, if not the scene from the souls and minds of both the accused and the dead. As long as some portion of their body is intact we can commune with those beyond and get every detail up until the moment of death. That part the departed cannot tell us. Murder can be justified as many things with proper facts and motives revealed. Those that have killed unjustly tend to suffer unjustly. If it were a member of our clan they might very well find their souls devoured and the afterlife denied them. Our laws are very draconian to say the least but when you are dealing with children who could shatter stone, or men whom can commune with the dead or women who can talk to and train tigers you must have something to hold them in check."<i></i>

Sharingan Kuro would nod to Sashi's response and Kyojin would also look upon Shoma perplexed, "Your ward was not going to leave this chamber without you but I was going to show her other weapons besides swords that we have lining the walls on the northeast side of the chamber. No one here wishes you or anyone with you harm. Your hostility is unwarranted but as a Samurai would you care to settle your dispute martially?
We have rules where we do not kill here as you well know... if that is what you worry about but if you issue a challenge of honor due to improper notions be aware that more than your honor will be at stake. For every technique that is specialized to us that is used to rectify your honor a technique of equal or greater capacity must be shared in return. So before your Lady Masuda Ava guest, student, and accepted warrior of this dojo STATE YOUR CASE and LET YOUR WORD STAND."
<i></i>

Kyojin Kuro was perplexed but if Shoma wanted to see Toraono Clan law in action then he must endure it himself first.

Shoma stands as Sashi does. He listens and tries to understand their way of law and order. He would not know that their were those who could converse with the deceased, nor a way to draw truth from the accused. As she speaks of punishment, he can't help but think ''That seems... fitting. Is it not like what... he said?'. -"I'm going to eat your soul!"- Even as Sashi continues to speaks, Shoma takes a single breathe as someone who is winded.

The one with the strange eyes agrees to her statement and the taller Tiger-man addresses Shoma directly. He would claim that Shoma's anger lacked reasoning, and state the Shoma is in the wrong. At the truest beginning of this conflict that can very well be the case, but Shinobi are known well for hiding the truth. And in the case of Otandai Shoma, the truth is has not been easy to see. 'You... accuse... ME!' To the Samurai's ear, Kyojin's honor had been insulted, and in turn, he would demand the swordsman answer to both the Demon-blood and his own Young Master. 'You... DARE to...'

Before he thought is complete he releases a deep sigh. And upon doing so his eyes start to softly glow white, such a glow would not hide his pupils that slightly pull in from 4 diagonals, sharpening four cardinal points to look nearly like a cross, if someone were to guess it intended shape for now. And to those who would possess gifted sight might be able spot an anomaly just below the ribcage on the left side of his back. This anomaly which also glows a stronger white would be 5 dots in a pattern that would suggest a claws grip, and in the center would rest a seal of chaos{according to Akkuma, this reads either Hunter or Kinslayer, will let you decide if you'd like}. The expression of one on the verge of outward rage would melt away, and in its place would form a face of scrutiny as his hands hide behind his back and his chin lifts. -Prosecute-

"I believe you,... misunderstand my intention here." The lawman then starts to look down to the and starts to pace to his left in such a way that his path would circle all others there. "I was just curious I, just wanted to be sure of something.
Now, understand that I don't want to challenge your honor, and I don't intent to do so... yet. In fact, I'm hoping that you are indeed as honorable as I and Ms. Masuda here have been led to believe..."
"Ms.... Masadu?" Ava whispers to herself, as she witnesses her Guardian become less and less like himself. Without looking away from the ground he directs an open hand toward Ava briefly before pulling it behind his back again before continuing. "... but I am, compelled, to inquire WHO is Miroku.... Akkuma... to you?"

Ava at this time looks to Kyojin in concern, whispering to him. "Kyojin, his eye's have never glowed this way. He speaks differently than he should{normally doesn't use contractions}. What is this possession? Should I leave with him? It is possible he will settle down for a while if I do. I would rather not see either of you fight. What should we do?"

Introducing Shoma: The Accuser to PC's. Currently I am roleplaying him as still being under the effects of the Chaos Seal he was hit with HERE, and the source of ailment at the time. As you have witnessed, he is triggered by the mentioning of 'soul consumption' and stress. Shoma is still aware that he is Shoma, but not of how differently he is behaving, therefore seeing nothing wrong with himself.. Where Shoma is lawful-good in that he is open to be reasoned with and can be compassionate/sympathic at times, the Accuser is Lawful Neutral and although calm, he doesn't genuinely care about others and only seeks the seeks displays of "justice" and keeping order. As it has only just started to occur, Accuser's logic is immature and not always well grounded and can be questioned, meaning stumping him through 'legal stuff' can stun him. 3 times in a thread or twice consecutively can dispel him for a short time. Another short term fix(lasting a couple of months) is to cast Morality Seal 'Light', on him. However, to undo Accuser completely, a dark sage would need to land this on him. Using a seal on him while Accuser is Awakened will be resisted, meaning it would more then likely have to be applied in battle. If you're going to try to stun him, let me know. Pm me if you like or if there is an issue. I hope this turns out fun for us.

Kyojin smiled brightly then remembered they were in the weapon chamber where the items here wanted to bind with worthy owners to bring forth their own souls, so he had to hold off his exuberance for a moment but he quickly picked up Lady Ava and set her upon his shoulder as he then motioned to her. "That is no possession, that is the light of Shoma’s inner soul shining forth, he has become a being of Law. You will stay with me for now. People will complain and call you my girlfriend and in a sense you will be but I believe you will be safest with me until Shoma has learned to control his full self. In this chamber we cannot fight but there is a ritual that must be completed since he has made an accusation and by his own request inadvertently invoked Toraono Clan law and as such I must respond. It will not lead to blood shed so don’t worry. Your guardian has been through a severe ordeal, one that would normally shatter men. He has touched a chaos demon in some manner and reacted to it not by being swept away but by becoming the polar opposite of chaos. I knew those eyes once before, the eldest sister of our clan used to have those same eyes before she became something and someone else. Now Please hold onto my horns. I need you close to me so that you don't accidentally bond with any of these weapons without proper guidance. Now take a deep breath we are going to move in a manner you are not used to."<i></i> If Lady Ava takes a deep breath Kyojin would turn and leap over fifty yards holding her and her clothing in place with his left hand to ensure her modesty the same way he would play with the little kids in the dojo. With dramatic flare Kyojin Kuro would land before Shoma as Sharingan Kuro nods and steps between the two of them to act as arbitrator.

Sharingan Kuro would state the obvious… “We recognize the effects you are under Master Shoma and we recognize the outcome of such an event, you ask us of Miroku Akkuma as it is apparent your contact with the chaos demon sage has altered your personality. We also understand that you know very little of gods, demons, devils, Tenchi, and Spirits. So this will be a very quick way of educating both you and Lady Ava. Now let us state the facts as we can surmise them, you came into some kind of conflict with Miroku Akkuma and through your contact with his mercurial nature your own spirit and very being have been altered to survive said encounter. In response to chaos you have become an agent of law. There is nothing wrong with this condition if you control it but what it can do is twist your perception to black and white when the world is so very gray because even evil people do good things and the scales of balance are hard to maintain.

Miroku Akkuma is betrothed to my eldest sister and as such he will be a brother to Toraono Kuro and blood relative of our clan. You still live so your contact with him must have had some kind of upside as Akkuma is well known for devouring the souls of his enemies. He is a chaos demon blooded and his powers although like Kuro’s are actually the opposite. The Toraono Clan are of Demonbeast blood, we are oath-bearers. This condition makes us devils. We have a strong bearing and aptitude towards violence, soul harvesting, and dark power but we follow a strict code, we enforce laws, we work with kindred human and inhuman. We keep a balance, yes we can and sometimes will devour the souls of our enemies but said enemy must have earned that fate.

Miroku Akkuma is not oathbound to anyone but my sister and my mother as the women in my family and even Lady Ava here have the power to enforce oaths upon men. As such Akkuma normally does exactly what he wants at any given time. Luckily he is not pure evil he is simply greedy and self-serving. He wants what he wants, WHEN he wants it and if he can-not have WHEN he wants it he rarely wants it after. Imagine yourself dealing with an eight year old boy except this boy has the power to shatter a small mountain, yank the soul out of a lesser being, and fight a two ton bear toe to toe with a smile and enjoy his injuries. This description is Miroku Akkuma.

As a being whom has been in contact with him, a full human of strong honor and capacity we are happy you have not gone insane. As lesser men would have, if he chose to make them that way. Kyojin currently acting as Lady Masuda’s guardian will issue you a challenge here in the hall of blades. Due to your current state and the properties of this chamber it will allow you to call forth the weapon of honor and law that is truly yours to wield and at said moment you will be able to invoke the truth of law and order from your soul, instead of just from experiencing true chaos. At said time Kyojin will invoke his weapon of honor which I must warn you, it does match his size.
<i></i>
- (Pun intended) -
You will then take two steps back from oneanother and cross blades. This is not a battle… it is a rite of spirit and acceptance. Kyojin has taken it upon himself to educate you in the honor of the Toraono Clan and one of the ways we can invoke our laws should you choose to confront Akkuma outside of battle and demand an answer from him as an agent of Law we will teach you how to do so. If you accept this lesson you must give a lesson in return… these are the bindings of our oaths and to be taught means you must teach another in return. This is the way of Toraono Clan balance. Do you accept these terms Master Shoma? Know that you will not lose Lady Ava over this as she was never a bargaining chip or a tool. She is here of her own free will and under our protection and faith until she chooses to leave. We must bring up this one thing should she choose not to be around you We MEN of the Toraono Clan are honorbound by blood oath upon this sacred ground to protect her and INVOKE her will. Please don’t misunderstand and think we are stealing her from you. Now that this has been explained What path do you choose?”<i></i>

Sashi would reach out for Shoma for a moment but then withdraw her hand, she wanted Shoma to herself but she could not interfere with a blade ritual as it was necessary to ensure Shoma gained full control over himself and his condition lest he become a danger to himself.

Ava would be give be picked unexpectedly, causing a "Wop, okay" to escape her. Kyojin then explains that the former Stone Guardian is not possessed, but is displaying an inner strength, comparing the trait to a relative of his. He goes on to inform the Masada that Shoma's life would not be in danger, but that a certain ritual would have to take place because of Shoma's claim. She hopes that the ritual, nor Shoma's affliction would not be the undoing of the pair of Fire Natives,... now that Kyojin accepted her... in a sense. Her heart would be warmed by this acknowledgement if not for her situation. She follows the instruction of the one offering to court her as he maneuvers closer to the swordsman.

The Beast-man lands in front of the Shoma The Accuser, causing him to merely stop his pacing. In such a case, Shoma would normal have stilled himself and readied his blade, however THIS Shoma would not flinch. To provide a buffer, the small Beast-man step between the two. For a time he explains that the swordsman's current state is the source of witchery from the one called Miroku Akkuma. The Accuser doesn't see this change as a new state of being but rather as a result of experience and enlightenment. Yet he stands there quietly, waiting.

He would learn of the Akkuma's connection to the name of Toraono, and sadly, that they seem accepting of his behavior. This didn't look favorable in the eyes of the Samurai. The Demon lives after all of the things they know he is willing to do. How does their elder sister survive him? How would Ava if he could freely roam these hall, especially if Akkuma learned of her ties to Shoma? To protect her however, he would have to face Akkuma himself. And to do that he would need to participate in this right in some manner, to his understanding. Yet, the Guardian would not accept a weapon from there walls, he explanation would come soon. But perhaps the most important note, yay the greatest truth, to mentioned would be the guardian representing Master Ava. This guardian would not be the same one that had protected, served, and trained her in her time away from Fire Country. This is the reason for Shoma's high level of stress and for being here. But for now, he does not hold emotions, but merely focuses on principle.

However, Master Ava is indeed Shoma's master. And though she chooses to join the Toraono Clan, she never intends to abandon Shoma. But now she can see how seeking aid in this way might be viewed as forsaking someone. After the Samurai is asked to choose, Ava attempts to reason with him. "Shoma, I came to them for both of our sakes, not just my own. I have not chosen them over you,... I have chosen a home for us both. When we first arrived here you helped me open myself to them. Let me do the same for you. Please, trust them." The Sunaku around this time would reach out a hand toward the lawman but her reasoning for doing so remains unclear to him.

Shoma would not seem to react to Ava plea, nor look at her as she gives it. But now is his time to speak. "So... all I need to do is cross swords with him and give a lesson? If by doing this I will legally be able to bring lawful justice to the Demon? Very well. But I don't need your cursed weapons, just the one I have been entrusted with. And that is strength of Principles and the peace of Justice." However, Shoma does not intend to be 'fixed'. He draws his revolver with his right hand, out of his left pauldron, and passes it to his left hand. Then he draws his katana. "These tools, an adamantine blade for firmness of principle, and a Sparker for swift and precise justice." Although Shoma The Accuser seems relaxed, he is ready to begin.

Kyojin would chuckle over Shoma's comment about the blades being cursed, these were nothing like the cursed weapons sealed far deeper underground. Those weapons could actually possess people and were made by the ancients for just that capacity.

"Again you misunderstand, these blades and weapons are merely reflections, no one would ever willingly hand out a cursed weapon. As it stands you are currently wielding a weapon used by soldiers of Sora. That "Sparker" is called a pistol, it is a revolving weapon that uses packed black powder, brass encased projectiles. Unfortunately because of our current physiologies and armored capabilities even if you were to shoot me in the eye or the ear that weapon is completely ineffective. Your katana however is an entirely different matter with it's folded steel, and enhanced durability, it actually stands a chance of blocking my blade. I would recommend that you use two hands or if you would like we can take you to the forge and let you combine your handgun with your sword and reinforce your grip prior to completing the rites. It would only take twenty minutes for Dr. Daibatsu to take you through the process as a Master Samurai whom also became a fully accredited Doctor and Master Engineer I highly recommend it. I suspect that even though you are going along with this process that you don't truly understand what you are getting into and that your view of the law is being twisted and not taking into account the whole picture. You should probably ask far more questions before accepting things at face value. We don't mind you questioning us, nothing we do here is without regard or suspicion and you are right to ask what is truly going on. What we cannot abide is the accusation that we are doing wrong for the sake of doing wrong. We are oathbound and the sooner you understand what that really means then the sooner you will understand us. Our word is our bond and before you accuse Miroku Akkuma despite his unorthodox ways and despite his lineage you must grasp the whole picture. Otherwise you could be condemning the wrong person for a chain of events that was not set in motion by him alone. Now if you truly wish to cross blades and invoke the ritual with an uninitiated sword so be it but if your blade awakens and you are not ready to accept him or her then we will not be held at fault for forcing the binding between you. Do you accept this chance or do you wish to check and clear your weapons first?"<i></i>

Kuro was certain now above all things that Shoma did indeed have great potential but as it stood his need to uphold the law could be his downfall as well best he be sure that Shoma understood what he was doing.

Shoma the Accuser pause for a while, and though he listens one might be led to believe that his mind has trailed off due to his current blank facial expression. Although the Young Master is allured by the though of living swords, Shoma is drawn away from the idea relying heavily on magic and exterior resources. Such power, in Shoma's mind, breed a reliance and from there, weakness. Shinobi were the prime example of this in there use of chakra and ninjutsu. They frequently had no style, finesse, or strategy beyond, 'hit as hard as I can and dodge. However, the swordsman does learn of his other tool's functionality, to which he responds with a nod and "Hmm." Yet, he becomes curious at the mention of Kuro's claim to invulnerability to the weapon. But if the demon wish to empower the tool's of justice, it would be foolishly prideful not to consider the offer at least.

Kuro would go on to suggest that the samurai did not understand Miroku Akkuma, but the Accuser merely believe him to hope for the innocence of one who is so clearly guilty in the eyes' of the human. "If you say you can strength my tool, this pistol, then you may try. And in this time, if you wish to plead the case of one you call family, you may. However,... I understand that family would be hard to judge. I wonder, if you would hesitate if you had seen what I've seen, for I'm a witness to his crimes and the crimes of many others who were present there. I've place myself in in the hands your laws before when I could have kept my actions secret. I would like to think that my testimony would have some weight due to my earlier willingness to comply and submit to your laws. But, are you capable of sentencing a member of your clan, should he be found guilty of course?" He's eyes narrow in scrutiny.

Sharingan Kuro placed his hand upon a seal and spoke aloud "Dr. Daibatsu you are needed in the unsullied blade chamber number three for a weapons upgrade to demon class, pistol, revolver, sovereign issue, possessor/owner to be fitted Master Samurai Shoma... also bring up a set of dark chakra resistant armor and a blade attachment augment. He wants to submit himself to Toraono Clan law."
A panel glowed in response and a strong voice responded "Master Shoma wants to submit himself to Toraono Clan law, he does know that our laws are draconian and the stuffs that stop demons, devils, and tenchi from breaching etiquette?"

Sharingan Kuro would reply with a sad look upon his face... He knows but he wants to submit himself anyway, he believes that we allow Miroku Akkuma to murder and pillage."

Kyojin Kuro would sit before Shoma as he sighed in response to his questions. "I am afraid you truly don't understand what I mean when I say our laws are beyond what any normal human would consider humane. If a Toraono Clan male was to rape a woman he would be gelded like a horse then have half his soul removed and placed in a reliquary for the family of the offended to have for all time. If one of us kills unjustly, we give up one of our unborn children if seppuku is not required. Akkuma may not be subject to all of our laws but his conduct is within our boundaries and for him to be less than our standards would cause him to suffer great losses. We have had to kill some of our own cousins over matters of honor. Torture for matters of law, damn souls to eternal servitude to others for actions unbecoming. Do not submit yourself to our laws lightly or in jest. You may not like the outcome."

Daibatsu Toa would then emerge from a wall panel where a hidden elevator had been installed followed by a large puppet operated cart of tools and a downsized almost portable soul forge.

Daibatsu Toa
Age: 526
Wt: 200
Ht: 5 ft 10 in
Hair: Blood Red

Job: Toraono Clan Engineer/ Surgeon/Weaponsmith
Specialty: Ghola Technology, Prosthetics

Doctor Daibatsu Toa was a great many things during the Demon wars he had been a samurai of little renown and impressive skills. He had earned the title of battlesmith for the weapons he forged and his knowledge of how to use them. When he met Toraono Kaibudo, “Kai” as he was called then he found himself in awe of the man’s skill; he rarely used a weapon other than his own body except to teach. It was during the battles alongside Kai that Daibatsu Toa found his greatest of foes. An Uchiha named Susamajii he had vast power and wielded flames, lightning, and a sword like no other. While Kai held off the Oni army this dark warrior led Toa took him on in single combat. Simply put Toa was the only one fast enough with a blade to take him on as Susamajii had already bested Kai in three prior battles using illusions and explosive flames and thunderbolts to fling the famous taijutsu master all over the battlefield. Kai could never get close enough to lay a single blow and Uchiha Susamajii would never allow that either for he had seen how powerful Kaibudo’s strikes truly were. He underestimated Toa however as he believed him to be a simple swordsman.

The private battle that ensued between these sword masters had been the stuff of legends but no one had seen anything except the terribly burnt body of Toa and the captured head of Susamajii. Toa took the eyes from his foe and preserved them using a special mixture made from the sacred waters of Waterfall country harvested from the bowels of the Koubaku Kyousei ‘Great Tree’ and the blood of the fallen warrior. It was said that the warrior whom took the eyes of Susamajii would live a thousand years. Toa had believed he would be that immortal warrior but his body had been severely crippled from the black flames the Master Uchiha swordsman had unleashed upon him and as such had instead sealed them away in a vault beneath the coliseum that Kai called home. Forgotten and immersed in ancient powerful fluids the eyes remained eternally preserved and grew in power. It was not until almost three hundred years later after Toa’s mastery of armor, weapons, and later chakra allowed him to rebuild his body an expansive fusion of puppet technology and human flesh.

Doctor Daibatsu Toa was born into a Samurai clan long ago where as time went on he discovered a great many things. He won more battles than he lost but when he did lose he lost limbs or the full function of vital organs. He quite literally stumbled into his own form of immortality while being treated by a witch after he literally fell unto one of her soul gems. The gem transferred a significant amount of his life force into it but instead of killing him it bonded to his body. Crippled by his battles he could no longer tread the battlefield despite his recovery so he took up the study of weaponry. He forged masterpiece weapons using his clan knowledge and techniques picked up throughout his travels.

He took apprenticeship under many masters learning all he could as they aged and passed on while he did not. This carried on until a puppet Master from Sunagakure decided to train him in hopes of learning Toa's secret to immortality. After a few years of study they both discovered that Toa was no longer truly alive his body was simply kept alive and unaging by his internal will and the residual energies of the soul gem that the witch had left bonded to his heart. Satisfied that she had solved the mystery of eternal youth in her eyes, they delved into prosthetics, and medical enhancements, as she grew older Lady Reiko realized she couldn't replicate the soul gem but she could place all of her vitals in a similar chakra crystal and become a living puppet. After performing various surgeries upon Toa and granting him the full use of his right arm and both legs in a now standard feat of fusion between medicine and puppetry. Lady Reiko performed a full spirit and vital organs transplant into a puppet body that would have failed if Toa hadn't used his advanced knowledge of surgery and mysticism to make sure certain elements were applied and that the transference was seamless.

No one even noticed she was in a puppet body due to her false yet living skin. For one hundred and thirty years they worked together discovering all manner of medical, spiritual, and chakra applications for physical amplifications and weapons. They retraced old maps and while searching an ancient city found the remains of rebuilt human transplants or ghola. Living weapons after a fashion, while studying them one of the guardian gholems reactivated and severely damaged Reiko. Her immortality, like Toa's only prevented her from dying of disease or age not trauma. Toa fought frantically to save her even to the point of unleashing weapons he had experimentally installed in his puppet limb. He defeated the golem but he had not been able to save her. Reiko smiled happily, she had found out so much in her extended life. Toa vowed to finish her work. Two hundred years later Doctor Toa is still researching ancient and current technologies and even has a child of his own named Reiko.

As Dr. Daibatsu entered the chamber he looked for the young master swordsman that Kuro’s sharingan clone had told him about and Kuro's requests to enhance the accuser's weaponry. Daibatsu smirked as he removed his red robe and the upper portion of his jacket then allowed it to hang down to his waist. He prepared himself for work as he set tools aside for gunsmithing.

He smiled showing off his rebuilt body, all his prosthetics, carefully and painstakingly placed inside his regrown fully living flesh although he had no heartbeat, nor did he need to breathe. His flesh was maintained by a special nutrient feed system from his endoskeletal system. It was obvious to someone graces with high perception that half his body was unnatural because of the ninja wire and chakra lines that interlaced his right side. What gave it away the most was the massive scar down his back and the way he smelled like an old man but had the look of an adult in his prime. The final giveaway was the loose grip in which he occasionally subconsciously placed upon the hilt of his ancient steel blade which could only have been made in the old country. He carried himself like a samurai, but his eyes and permanently manicured features gave away the mark of something beyond human.

"Hello, I am Doctor Daibatsu Toa, Grand Master Puppeteer, Master Engineer, Prosthetic Surgeon, and construction specialist for the Toraono Clan. I was informed that you are in need of weapons upgrades Master swordsman. SO before we begin I have three questions. How many traps can you imagine? What technique do you most want to learn? Last but by far not least what is your strongest technique? With the answers to those questions I can devise both a reasonable blueprint and virtual fitting for the weapon or weapons you possess. I have also brought armor that will allow you to withstand dark chakra should you come into contact with more.”
