Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sai walked into the classroom she leaned her sword against the desk, she then turned around and wrote her name on the board.

Amagi, Saieko

Sai turned and channeled her chakra to her hands the wall rumbled and a wall fell out to the other side big enough for a door. The outside was simulated sun and such but there was a small park annexed to the side of the class. She would be teaching the kids out there. For now thoe she sat behind her desk and waited for the kids to show . She had sent the notifications out earlier that day to all the new students and more tenured ones as well who would show up was totally up to them.

As she sat down she took out a small pebble she took from Knocking a hole in the wall letting fly up in the air she stared at it and let it float down and around her finger. She twirled it through her fingers playing with the mineral as it was. It was the small things that made her happy and at ease.

Noroi walked down the halls of the school for class. He had recieved a notification about a taijutsu class and was eager to try it. He wanted to try all kinds of fighting to see what fit him best. Also, he wanted the opportunity to meet and make some possible friends. He walked in the classroom and sat down in the second row of chairs. He took out some paper and notes to write and tidied up his area.

He was ready to take some hits in this class, he was the scapegoat after all. That's what he decided he was. He wanted to make his life worth something, and maybe becoming strong will. Noroi looked around. It was only him in he class for now but he was sure more students would come. His hand reached for his scar on his windpipe to scratch it, but he noticed it it and lowered his hand, so he just nervouly sat and waited for the class to start.

Kibishi knew that he would only have little time to get to class, unlike the last one he wasn't going to be in trouble. No way in hell!, rushing towards the class he would brash through many students. Knocking them over and almost tossing one person through the window. Man, why do these people always get in my way. No matter the class, he would destroy them all that came in his way.

When he reached the classroom, he would have some minor bruises on his face. Like it mattered anyway to him, he was use to fighting and found it exciting. Looking around at the class, he decided to take the seat in the very front. Maybe he wanted to take the teachers desk, but he would be close to the window looking out towards the boning light. Waiting for the class to start, it was suppose to be about something he was interested in but what was it again?

Seeing how she had given enough time for the other students to join Sai stood up and walked over to the door, locking it in place also adding a further measure and upon the door she put what looked like a chakra seal on it. For any students that were late they would be in for a nasty surprise. “Welcome to my class, this class is a intro into Taijutsu , and Ninjutsu. I am your teacher Amagi , Saieko. For the remainder of this class you may call me Sai or Sai-sensei.” Sai then wrote on the board the two words Taijutsu and Ninjutsu. “Can either one of you two tell me what the definition of these two words on the board are? “Then tell me in what situations would you use these two subjects?” This was her introduction from here she could judge just how much experience one had with Tai and nin. Based on how they would answer Sai didn’t expect much after-all they were mere students but still she had to ask to break the ice some way or another. Sai Sat back down behind the desk and waited for them to begin with their answers. Please raise your hand before you answer in this class that way you both don’t answer at the same time.”

She wondered just how much training these two had received since they’ve been here in sand village. If it was anything like what she went through these two didn’t have much experience with actual application. That would change today she said to herself in her head when she was done with these two they would be on a whole different level then the rest there age.

Noroi raised his hand on the question sai-sensei asked them. Taijutsu and ninjutsu. Noroi had a basic idea of what those two things were and shakily raised his hand to answer, nervous about the upcoming class

"E-Er sai-sensei? N-ninjutsu is a g-general term m-meant for a-anything that c-can't be normally done, I-it usually uses chakra to p-preform th-these techniques. T-taijutsu I-is l-like m-material arts a-and u-usually doesn't n-need chakra. T-taijutsu I-is n-normally used for cl-close combat and n-ninjutsu c-can b/be used for a l-lot of things" he managed to say.

Mind if I join in?

Kagari knew he was late; but it wasn't particularly his fault. His mother Yukari had gotten sick again, the air in the Palais district is foul and there living arangment isn't exactly...homish.

He popped his head in and saw class was already in session. He watched as a squemish boy answered with all the bravery he could muster. Kagari thought about whether ot not he should announce his presence to the sensei; to apolgize for his tardiness. After all, he didn't want to interupt the already tense atmosphere and paint a target on his back.

Kagari knew it would be best if he took the higher rode instead of trying to sneak in.
"Excuese me Sensei, can I join this class?" Kagari spoke up, looking at Saieko.

Thinking of what the teacher had asked not that hard, he would have raised his hand if the other boy hadn't said something first. Taijustu was the blank system of hand to hand combat, but promoted that the body should be in perfect sync. Strength, speed and technique were what the balance should look like, while ninjutsu on the other hand was doing what is physically impossible for most. It required anyone that used it to be tuned with it's body as well, so maybe both were connected like ying and yang. Could it be that what the lecture was about or did she just want to know if we even knew what the words meant?

Kibishi looked towards the door, someone was trying to get in, but it was locked by the teacher. Hopefully they wouldn't get hurt right?, either way because the other student had answered first. He would just wait for the teacher to give the answer, after all she only said one of us to answer. Looking towards the front of the class, he wondered what she would do this session with them.....he was interested, if she would teach them something important.

There was a knock at the door which stopped the class as it had just begun. Smirking she walked over to the door where a young man had asked to join the class, smart to ask and not to barge in. Saieko smirked as he was still late and one of the only things she had asked was not to be late. She couldn’t help outstanding circumstances. So she unlocked the door letting him come in as she did her hands were deft enough from being a pickpocket that she took the tag off the door and let him in. “Well seeing how you were being polite and knocked first, you are spared the embarrassment I set up for anyone who decided to barge into the class you may take your seat.” “Now getting back to the question that was a somewhat right answer but…. it was also wrong as well.” Sai walked back over to the door replaced the tag and this time left the door unlocked to see if anyone would be dumb enough to barge in.

Sai walked back to the desk So , what Norei-san said was partially correct I am now asking the two that didn’t answer the question can you elaborate on that statement of She wrote what norei-san said on the board erasing the two words first.
N-ninjutsu is a g-general term m-meant for a-anything that c-can't be normally done, I-it usually uses chakra to p-preform th-these techniques. T-taijutsu I-is l-like m-material arts a-and u-usually doesn't n-need chakra. T-taijutsu I-is n-normally used for cl-close combat and n-ninjutsu c-can b/be used for a l-lot of things"
You there the new boy , state your name first and elaborate on what noroi-san said please, then we will move to another face I don’t recognize, State your name as well and answer best you can.” Saieko hated busy work as she more about action but certain things needed to be addressed first as in she needed to know exactly what these boys knew about this subject before she taught them. She didn’t want anyone hurt in this class as it was a rather touchy subject to arm young boys with the know how to defend one’s self against assailants. Each time you teach one of these kids its like rolling the dice in a craps game. Not only are you responsible for what they do but you are also responsible for how they live after they’ve been taught. Saieko just hoped non of these young men were the type to cause pain for fun if they were they would ultimately deal with her one way or another.

As she waited for the boys to answer she readied some forms at her desk for each of the boys to take and read over. Glancing over at the hole she put in the wall, and seeing how the simulated sunshine and temperature was nice today if they followed all of her instructions she would take them outside. First things first thoe, busy work or rather C.O.A. forms had to be passed out and signed. She laid there forms out on the desk and beckoned all three of them to take one.

(Now for those that didn’t understand terminology C.O.A. was a her way of saying cover your own ass)

The document wrote said :
By you stepping into this class you herby waive the right to be able to say that you received bodily harm in anyway shape or form. You are being warned henceforth that continued participation in this class can and will by default cause your person or other persons to be injured. Are you okay with this? Kagari took a deep sigh. This woman, or teacher was nice enough to let him in; despite his extreme tardiness. While thankful, he felt tense because he needed to answer the question right away. Scrambling for answers in his head, he thought the shy boy or "Norei" had answerd pretty much the question.

"Thank you, sensei. I'm Toshiwakai Kagari." Kagari bowed, then moved towards an empty desk."I hadn't noticed the other one" as he looked at the Red haired child. He had seen him before in Palais, the underground ghetto. After all, so many people stuffed into the confined quarters; you're bound to see a couple of familiar faces. But before he could get caught in observing the bright haired boy, he answered the first question.

"Well, Taijutsu is a range of physical abilities that range from kicks and punches to using weaponry like swords and staffs right? Although the assumption is you don't use chakra, some techniques put strain on the body." Kagari answered to the best of his ability.

"Ninjustsu well, let's you do practically anything." Kagari said bluntly. "Whether you want to bend the elements, heal your team, or clone yourself; there are an infinite amount of ninjustsu a person can learn. Norei-san you are correct, but there are some jutsus that are well; close quarters." Kagari explained, after he was done answering he bowed; and sat.

He took a breath, feeling like he accomplished to the best of his knowledge. He looked at his sensei before him, she had a unique colored hair that supprised him. He didn't now a single person in Suna that had white hair like that. It was unique, or maybe those teenager hormones were acting up again. Tis' a curse being thirteen.

Either way, he obeserved his sensei, contemplating on what she was going to say.

Noroi quickly signed the fourm, eager to learn. But after he signed, he thought about the possible injuries. Maybe just a broken bone at worst. He looked at the other students. They looked so confident. He wished he could be like them. He took his mind off this by thinking about what he would learn. Maybe chakra control or some fancy taijutsu. Or maybe just the basics, like simple strikes and focusing. He daydreamed for a few moments, then snapped it of it. He had to focus for the upcoming class.

Sai listened to the young man that went into further depth, "Thank you, sensei. She smirked they really had some of a idea but had no real application, in the real world with this stuff they only knew pure ideals of it. That was going to change starting now, As Kagari took his seat she caught him glancing at her. Indeed it was rough to be that age, Her white crystal eyes beemed back at him as if to say you have a long way to go kid. She took one of the papers she had and handed him it almost chuckling at his embarrassment (yes you were caught.) she didn’t comment on it with a smile she merely strolled out the new door she made before the class into the park with a finger curled and beckoning both the boys to follow her out there.

Once she was out stood there with her hands on her hips waiting on them to join her. As they were walking through the door Sai formed a few seals in a OX stance and two Mud clones formed out of the ground and both where in her likeness but no facial features. They outlined her body but all in all they were mud. ”Now welcome to the fun part, boys as you can see I went ahead and made these two clones as your sparring partners today. Now don’t be afraid they won’t bite come over here and take a few swings at them at them give it your all fight with intent to kill I want to see your form here.” ” Based off your ability to smack these clones I will begin our lesson with some basic strikes and forms. “
Welcome to the deep end kids she thought in her head no better way to learn then to jump into it with both feet. She formed a tiger seal and with little effort the mud clones started to attack both students. They were throwing punches and kicks in small combos they weren’t anything that a normal kid there age wasn’t used to seeing on the playgrounds or a normal person would act while they were fighting.

OOC: kibishi if and when you return please join the class outside you Now have taken a -1 point to your grade on this class you had more then 24 hours to post.

also ill clarify here this next modd is a Rp fight please be discriptive on your attacks we will do a honor system here with attacks on what hits and what doesn't

Kagari gulped; notcing the sly smirk on his sensei, he blinked. Was there something on his face? Did he answer wrong? He contemplated for a few moments, then noticed the piece of paper in front of him. He read some of the words, "participant cannot blaim proctor for injury" Kagari was surprised, he kept reading the contract.

"Participant is willing to comply with commands, and possible demonstation of techniques"
"Sunagakure is not responsible for any death".

Kagari was a bit bothered by the last part. It was clear that this form excused any lawsuits, or responsiblity for their sensei in case if there a..."event". Kagari was unsure whether to sign the forum. On one hand, he knew what he signed up for as a ninja. He had seen the sunken in faces of the various shinobis that walk out of the bars in Palais. The faces that have seen death and loss. He wanted a better life for his mother and him; and he saw this as his one true ticket out.

On the other, he was afraid. Possible death, and injury? His mother needed him to help, and with him possibly bed ridden; what could happen? He gulped, and signed the form; knowing what possibly could happen. As he handed back the form, the white haired sensei walked through the hole in the wall and into the park; telling Kagari and the other boys to follow.

Kagari took in a deep breath, and exhaled. Out of the frying pan, and directly into the fire.

Once she was out stood there with her hands on her hips waiting on them to join her. As they were walking through the door Sai formed a few seals in a OX stance and two Mud clones formed out of the ground and both where in her likeness but no facial features. Kagari took a deep breath and approached one of the clones slowly; cautious if it was going to attack him. He got into a basic fighting stance that was taught to him. Kagari took another deep breath, anxious and started to do basic attacks.

OOC:
Is this going to be a very minor battle or still RP?

Noroi followed Sai-sensei out the door to the park with the other student. He looked around nervously, then jumped back when the mud clones appeared. He listened to Sai-sensei's speech and then the mud clones started to attack them. Noroi started out a little shaky, dodging punches and kicks, but then a few hard punches came in to his ribs. He wheezed and coughed, but got back his footing. He started to kick the mud clone, quickly but shakily. After taking a few more hits, his arms were burning. Noroi continued to punch the clone, but it didn't seem like he was doing much damage to the emotionless clone.

Sai watched as the boys struggled against the small quarrel they were faced with. Seeing how the clones might have been a bit much to start out with she watched as one of the boys started throwing a few combos smacking the clone to and thro. The second boy landed a few crucial hits as the clone even lost some of its mass. Sai shook her head as she thought these boys were book smart but not physically smart. No muscle memory what so ever.

She formed a seal with one hand and poof both clones fell to the ground in a clump of mud. “Okay so that wasn’t bad for your first time !!! So seeing how you both got to feel what a real fight was like… (in a manner of speaking don’t worry I will let you try again after some instruction.) Can you tell me what you thought you did well in and what you felt as you were trading blows with both those clones? Then tell me exactly what you thought you did wrong in the fight?

“I want to help both of you with this seeing how out in the real world outside of the classroom, having a idea of fighting means something totally different then actually acting upon that ideal as you’ve seen here today?”<i></i> She looked at both the boys smirking at them. She couldn’t help but to chuckle at how scuffed up they had become from just fighting mud. She at one time looked way worse then them after fighting her guardians clones back before she came to sand. She remembered how he howled in laughter at her for picking a fight with mud and losing badly. To her she now understood how hard it was to keep a straight face. Yes these clones ultimately were stronger then both of them combined on paper and in application but this was a great starting point for both of them. She didn’t see any reason on how they couldn’t just get better for having this experience under their belt.
Sai walked over to Kagari and help him take a sideways stance by turning him sideways and putting his fists up one raised by his face and the other covering his midsection with his arm vertically. She then walked over to Noroi and brushed him off and put him in the same position. Taking her place in front of them both she stood with her hands at her side. Now I want both of you to mimic my moves . Sai took a sideways stance and put her hands like a boxer would. She jabbed her hand out in front of her with a quick snap of her fist then brought it back to cover her face. She did it again as she went to the balls of her toes bobbing back and forth this time she followed it up with a hook from her left hand and added a sideways kick. Then paused for both of them to try and mimic what she did.

After they did that a couple times she would raise the two mud clones again this time when they went on the attack they would try to dodge the boys attacks and retaliate with a few punches and kicks of their own. If they would hit who knew ? From here on out it was up to the boys to survive the onslaught. Of course if things got to hairy Sai would step in and dispel the clones immediately, after all they were her only pupils currently she didn't want to kill them or anything she would move this class at their pace so if they had any questions or some things they wanted to try now would be a great time to do just that.

OOC:
Now this time like I said earlier this is a honor system we are doing so call your shots and hits as they come. The more discriptive you are the easier this will be trust me :p

Kagari was breathing heavily after the mini sparring suggestion. Trying to recover the stamina he used, he thought about how he did. Kagari had been, mostly taught in the classrooms. Papers, tests, research assignments; pretty much all he was really give in the academy. Even before he moved to Suna and started learning at the academy, he wasn't doing sparring sessions, or battle training.

The mud clones he was training against were supprisingly hard, not as hard as rock; but like clay. They felt like that after each punch he threw, the claw molded to his hands; and took in the enegery he put into his hits. Kagari's speed when he did throw those hits; were very amateurish. Kagari wouldn't be able to hit someone sitting still if he even tried. Maybe it was time to put down the books and all the theroies that his sensei's drilled in to his head?

The other boy, the shy one; wasn't doing too well either. He could se Noroi, panting and heavily sweating after the exchange. Kagari felt a little bit better about himself; knowing that he wasn't the only one that wasn't used to this type of thing.
She formed a seal with one hand and poof both clones fell to the ground in a clump of mud. “Okay so that wasn’t bad for your first time !!! So seeing how you both got to feel what a real fight was like… (in a manner of speaking don’t worry I will let you try again after some instruction.) She did it again as she went to the balls of her toes bobbing back and forth this time she followed it up with a hook from her left hand and added a sideways kick. Then paused for both of them to try and mimic what she did.

Kagari didn't feel comfortable in the stance; or the way he was angled. He switched his hands his feet, and mirrored the stance into a southpaw position, instead of the orthodox. Reconfiguring the stance to where he was comfortable; he obsreved how his sensei was fighting. He noticed that the white haired sensei was hoping, or light on her toes. Constantly moving, never standing still as if she well; dancing. Kagari started mimicing her style, doing his best to use the ball of his toes and slightly slipped when he tried it. He observed his sensei's angle some more, trying to deduce why he wasn't doing it like she was.

After they did that a couple times she would raise the two mud clones again this time when they went on the attack they would try to dodge the boys attacks and retaliate with a few punches and kicks of their own. If they would hit who knew ? From here on out it was up to the boys to survive the onslaught. "I guess this is round two." Kagari muttered to himself. Kagari steeled himself for what was about to happen, the clones now looked like they were going to be a bit more, "aggresive". Kagari did like he did last time, slowly approached the clone; anticipating any strikes that they may throw and started to do a basic combo he was taught. Jab with the right, then the left; and follow with a leg kick.

Kibishi was late for class, so he didn't really know what to say to the instructor, but he was missing his favorite part. When he reached the training field, they were fighting two clones of the teacher and there must have been one set for him. He just watched them in the first round, but this time would be his chance to prove himself. The teacher was giving a lecture on fighting basics, but he didn't really want to know about some one two punches. Instead of listening to her, he would get ready by getting into a runners position remembering the fights in the slums. No family, alone in the dark and left to get beat up by bigger fishes was where he learned to fight his own style of punishment. Getting ready, he would take a deep breathe and waited for the signal to start.

Noroi took the stance, relaxed, and started to throw punches. He tried to copy Sai-sensei's form, but he kept on shaking. While he was punching, he saw several chipped kunai laid down on the floor. Weird, he thought, but gave it no other mind. He started to kick like the teacher did, and pretty soon, he was getting the hang of it. Then it was time for round two, the mud clones came back, and this time they were more aggressive

Noroi tried to mirror the clone, but he was too slow and ended up getting hit a lot. His kicks looked like they were doing a little damage, but the clone showed no sign of weakness. After he recieved a hard punch to the ribs, a new, feral instinct rose up in him. He felt unstable, and started to not only kick and punch like Sai-sensei taught him, but also scratching. He felt like the clone was some prey and he was a hunter. He started to shake and dodge the attacks left and right, but still occasionally got hit, mainly in the ribs and the face. Finally, the feral instinct took over, and he ran at the clone, picked up one of the broken kunai, hugged the clone, and stabbed the kunai through the clone's windpipe. He started shaking uncontrollably, the feral instinct he only had for a few moments was gone. He start to laughs softly, and kept on stabbing the clone with the broken kunai until the blade snapped right off it's hilt. Tears began to form, but he didn't care. The scar over his windpipe opened up and blood started to trickle down his shirt, staining it a pretty scarlet.

Sai had prepared the clones a little more advanced this time around she watched as her pupils fought tooth and nail against a stronger foe then them. The first time around they faired quite well. This time around however, had its ups and downs, Standing afar her prism eyes went from student to student as they fought. Kagari had noticed the fleet footwork and customized the stance she showed him to better suit his needs a southpaw was rare to see these days. Even more so there ability to process the standard information and translate it backwards to fit what felt right to them was even more outstanding. Her eyes narrowed apparently her sleepy head of a student that she had left back in class decided to join them. She smiled at his bed head he apparently didn’t notice. Forming a few seals she formed another clone. Just like the two she made for Noroi and Kagari. He had slept through her lecture and didn’t bother with the basics so if he got hurt it was on him.

Sai’s focus shot over to Noroi when she almost heard a growl come from that direction looking over what she saw was literally not for the faint of stomach as Noroi apparently had a mental breakdown as he was fighting the clone. (kids this is why we don’t try these things at home okay.) Seeing him claw and punch and claw and punch reminded Sai of the rabbit wolves that raided her parents camp when she was little. Was that blood ? honestly she thought to herself, how does one literally draw blood when fighting a mud clone. As she approached him she was careful as he was starting to laugh to himself and given enough time work his way up to answering himself too. When a person reaches that point it is really important to be gentle and use tons of caution when dealing with them. The slightest little thing will drive him over the edge. Moving closer to him she saw his eyes white and bloodshot. She wanted to reach out and put her hand on his head to tell him it was okay but seeing how he broke a iron kunai chances were slim to that happening. The laughter followed by more stabbing and then more laughter ,This didn't help things either. She used one of her tags on him her slight of hand helped with this one, she slapped it on him as fast as one could. All he would feel is a mosquito bit to his back. Either he noticed it or he didn’t either way once that tag was in place she put sent chakra too it and a giant iron coffin came out of the ground and closed around the boy. He needed to calm down and one way to bring him down was to sit him in time out. Now in this coffin it was not like any other coffins you’d see, The coffin encompasses the person who has the tag on them most of the time there was damage that usually comes with it but seeing how all of her students Sai cared about a great deal. The boy literally would be sitting in a iron box till saieko decided to let him out. She wouldn’t till he calmed down I mean literally if left unchecked that kid would be the next serial killer. She admired his spirit and he was a nice student and book smart. He just needed to learn some control.

Sai eyes then worked back to kagari, rather surprising how too meek boys in two fights really started coming out of their shells. Sai saw promise in both of the boys Noroi had a primal instinct and kagari had the basics down pat and was even trying a few new combos of his own smaking the clone around like ti was a rag doll. As for Ibishi how he would fair would be up to him. Sai waited for the last boy to finish his trial seeing how both the other boys did amazingly well. One unearthed a primal fury in himself that undoubtedly work to his favor once he learned to control it. The other was had a heart like a pugilist he adjusted well learned quick and even had patients above his years. After some time in the box Sai felt like Noroi should be calmed down enough to rejoin the class. As she released the coffin around him she reached out and caught the boy and smiled at him ,”not bad kid not bad at all she said.” Standing the boy up she turned and waited for their little red head to finish his clone before she could proceed with the next phase of the class. After all he might have been the sleepy one but she was interested in what he could do as well. Hopefully that nap helped him rest up for his battle to come.

Noroi felt a small sting on his neck, and the next thing he knew, he was shrouded in darkness. He touched the wall. It felt cold, and empty. Was he hallucinating? Or was this to keep him in check. He thought about that surge of adrenaline he felt earlier, the power he felt. The tears were still there, and he began to have a mixture of crying and laughing. It hurt his ribs but he felt so good. So alive! He took a few deep breaths and thought some more. Could he be able to have that instinct again? If he could he would become so much better, maybe even a shinobi. He started to relax, but was still crying and laughing softly to himself. The clone was his prey. And he would hunt all of his prey down. He swore to that.

What had caused this? He thought to himself? Was it that event that triggered it? Those terrible hallucinations? He thought about that. Maybe that incident had a few benefits, but the costs far outweighed it. The death of his parents. Noroi could still picture their limp bodies lying on the ground. He shivered at the thought, but the soft laughing and crying still remained. Maybe this was for the best, he thought.

After he was released, he simply said "s-sorry S-Sai s-sensei" embarrassed and then watched Kibishi finish his fight.
