Junko had arrived back home, he now had a new thought on his mind as he inhaled on a cigarette, "Whats the next step?" His simple thought was actually answered a few days earlier in a conversation with the medical branch Sennin, Isaki Kushin.
"I would suggest focusing on what Daisuke can teach you for now and earning the title of Medical Shinobi as his student. After you have become a medical shinobi you can train more specifically towards combat as that seems to be the area you are interested in. The Sentou Henkan are as elite as the Harvesters or any other medical specialist team, and are busier. The Harvesters have a nasty role to play in the village and though they are now identified as a strength the village has, they were once thought to be outsiders and so their membership are not the most friendly."
"Looks like the next step is becoming an official Medical ninja." Junko exhaled on his cigarette as he pulled it out of his mouth, then with the flick of his right index finger that held the cigarette, he was done smoking. Turning around, Junko had opened the big doors that had two signs upon them. One reading, Welcome to the Bibliotheca Conscientiae, and the other reading No Smoking. Junko had been to the library quite a few times for the past several days. Junko wanted to read up on his subject that he wanted to specialize in, after all, he did need a specialization to obtain the Medical Ninja title.
Walking through the central part of the library and passing the many bookshelves that filled with books of all sizes came a door. The door had big bold letters on it that read, Biology. Entering the room, one would see a variety of smaller shelves that held biology based books. Aside from the books, Microscopes, many diagrams of organisms, and last but not least a few living insects on display. The room was the perfectly built place to study and get all the information needed for Junkos desired specialization.
Grabbing a few books, Junko placed them on a table as he opened them to study key components which linked together on the subject of biology. Starting from the basic part of biology itself, which was a cell, also known as the basic unit of life. Studying of the cells ranged from different types of cells such as plants, animals, and bacterial, to the cell organelle that made a cell properly function. Once that was understood, the movement to cell division had begun which was how living organisms reproduced and grew, which connected to meiosis with mitosis.
Hours, days, weeks, and even a few months had passed.
Junko visitation to the library had become somewhat regular, the librarian had now known Junko by name and knew what he was studying on. "Hey Junko me boy, that biology room better still be neat. You the only person to be in there, so their is no reason it should be messy!" With those words Junko had looked back towards the older lady, giving her a small smile. "Mrs.Lu, now you know this place isn't messy," said Junko full of sarcasm. Looking into the room, one would see books everywhere and out of order already open to pages with valuable information. "Alright, I think I have been through it all, Cells, Reproduction, life cycles, genetics, plant cycles, organelle, Evolution, experience with microscope, knowing the parts of a microscope, Formulas, even human biology that has given me some more intake on anatomy." With those few thoughts, Junko was prepared to put his knowledge to the test. Going to one of the shelves he grabbed the last book on there. The title read, So you think your a biology expert? With a subtitle that read, Well test your knowledge!
"Now it's time to see how far I have made it!" Putting up all the books except the recent book he picked up, Junko gathered several pieces of paper and began to write his answers. The book was filled with a full amount of twenty-five multiple choice questions with twenty-five written questions. Once the question were done, the answers were told at the back of the book. As Junko stayed true to himself, he didn't cheat and completed the book within an hour or so. Would this really tell if Junko was a specialist in the biology field? Only his score would tell, even though it was up to his superior.
