Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Miyatogi Katsu

Age: 19

Gender: Male

General Description:

Katsu stands at 5'7" and has a relatively unimposing figure, he's neither overly strong nor excessively thin, but he's healthy and strong enough not to be knocked over by a strong gust of wind. Katsu's hair and eyes are both a deep brown color, and he often lets his hair fall untamed into a raggedy (yet charming) mop. Katsu usually wears his clergy vestments; which consist of a white alb, a blue sash, a golden-colored stole, and regular straw sandals. In the odd event that Katsu is not wearing his priest garb, he will opt for a collared shirt, slacks, and dress shoes, and will often dress in earthen colors.

Katsu's personality manages to be both socially gifted and awkward at the same time; he's more than willing to talk to just about anyone, but he sometimes has trouble relating to others (his status as a 'gifted' mind does not help at all). He's a very kind and considerate person, sometimes to a fault. Unfortunately, he tends to push himself a bit too hard, and will sometimes try to do far more than he is capable of on his own. He also has a tendency to get lost in thought at times (he has learned to counteract this, but it still happens sometimes).

His favorite hobbies are tabletop games and reading, bringing up either is a very good way to instantly get his attention.

History: Katsu was born to a relatively normal family in Tenouza, and as such inherited neither fame nor infamy from his line. From an early age Katsu was interested in both academics and the priesthood. Katsu would soon prove himself to be a natural learner and surprise both his peers and his teachers with the speed at which he could comprehend new information. This was a mixed blessing for Katsu; although his accelerated learning gave him understanding about so many things, it made him feel isolated from the rest of his peers. Despite this, he continued to study and learn, eventually taking courses of study designed for adults over twice Katsu's age. The crowning achievement of Katsu's (so far) short life was when he passed his Theology exam at age 11, and was then ordained to the priesthood at age 12 (making him the youngest priest in the history of the Church). It was a remarkable achievement for the young boy as well as a great responsibility, but he accepted it with all the humility expected of a true priest (which served to further astound Katsu's parents, teachers, and peers).

Katsu's life then settled down for a while; he did his best to be a good child at home, while also pouring his soul into his new job as a priest. Of course, Katsu continued to desire knowledge. Eventually he started to take an interest in chakra science and ninjutsu. Unfortunately, Tenouza was poorly equipped for such studies, and the few schools that taught anything on the subject only had the most basic of knowledge. That wouldn't do for Katsu at all.

Of course, eventually a solution was given. Due to the recent influx of Church members and Tenouzan citizens (namely the daughter of the Grand Commander) into Kumogakure, the Pontiff of the Church decided that it was time to re-establish the Church's influence in the hidden village (the last time the Church had been officially involved in the village was at least ten years ago), and for that a priest would need to be sent to preside over the new community. Katsu offered to take the responsibility on the condition that he be allowed to join Kumogakure's shinobi. Katsu was given permission to join Kumogakure and, after giving a short farewell to his family, he departed for Kumogakure.

The road to the hidden village was unusually harsh, but Katsu kept his resolve and eventually arrived safely in Kumogakure. Despite being somewhat old for an academy student, his theoretical knowledge and high comprehension allowed him to prove his worth to Kumo's teachers...

... unfortunately, balancing his studies with his church ministry has taken a bit of a toll on him. Because of this, his progression in the academy has been mildly set back. Just a wee bit.

.... he'll get over it, we swear.
