Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Blood for blood... what a silly concept he thought to himself, if blood for blood was anything to live by then the world would only get bloodier, but to forgive was difficult, he understood that much at least and there were times when... as much as he hated to admit it, when violence was indeed an answer. Staring down two boys bot a year older than Him Hyuma glared his lip bleeding where it had been busted the two boys before him were notorious bullies though they'd never bothered him much until today, though perhaps he'd brought it on himself. He'd interrupted one of their "games" they'd been hazing one of the younger new students enjoying making the child chase after his stolen belongings. He'd intercepted the boy's bag midair and given it back to him. only to turn back to the boys to receive a sucker punch to the face. he'd returned the favor via a swift heabdbutt bloodying one of the boy's noses but that had only made them back of for a moment they were two to his one and were his elders so he'd have to act fast to beat them... or... bluff them.

Letting a grim smile cross his face he thumbed the blood from his lip looking at it letting a manic expression cross his face. crouching quickly he drew a kanji into the ground with the blood before beginning to make complex hand signs. looking at the two boys Hyuma grinned.

"I'd start running if I were you"

With that the boys did just that, they took off in fear of whatever they though Hyuma was about to do to them. If they'd been smart they'd know that nothing he'd done had been real, he hadn't even been channeling chakra, but the bluff had been enough. Falling back to sit on his butt Hyma wiped his lip and let out a soft "owww" as he observed the damage done to his face, how unpleasant he thought to himself.

It had been a few years since the last time that Urajimiru had actually bothered to wander around the grounds of the Academy, and as such it may have changed a bit. The memories he had of this place were pleasant, nothing bad had really happened here, even with his unique features he had been accepted by his fellow students and teachers alike. Regardless of such things, he meandered about with his hands in his pockets and those lupine ears on a swivel as he listened to the sounds around him, his tail swaying to and fro in an idle motion as he moved.

There was a scuffling sound that drew the redheaded teen's attention towards a hidden area. With a brow cocked and an ear splaying to the side while the other stood at attention, he headed towards the noises, his footsteps making nary a noise. He didn't expect the pair of boys who burst from the area and as such, he walked right into them in their reckless escape.

"Oof! Hey, man.. You wanna watch where you're going next time? You could really get hur----" The last part of the word 'hurt' was cut off as Ura looked down at the boys' and their rather frightened expressions. "Say, it looks like you two have seen something scary. Wanna point me in the right direction?" He stooped to their level, his body bending at the waist just enough to bring his head near theirs. "Or... Was it really THAT scary?" Up until this point, the scarf that was wrapped about his face blocked his mouth, but when he leaned forward, the loose fabric fell away from his countenance. As he grinned in a rather devilish manner, the kids could easily see that he had elongated canines and behind those, some rather sharp teeth. It was most likely enough to give them some sort of worry as to who exactly he was.

Such as it was with kids that were in the grip of terror, they screamed and pointed towards where they had come from before bolting away with a muttered high pitched 'sorry'. Ura shrugged as they bolted away, straightening his frame and shaking his head, a soft and lilting laughter pulling from him as he pressed forward. His ears had returned to their attentive state, pricked and facing forwards, and his tail had ceased its movements behind him, at least save for the bouncing from side to side that it did when it hit his legs as he walked. His hands however, remained within his pockets, as he was really none too concerned about exactly what it was that those kids had bolted from.

When he rounded the final corner, the only corner really, the wolf was relatively surprised at what he had found. It was yet another student seated upon the ground, only this one was quite a bit slimmer and more pale in skin tone than the ones that had just run into him. He snorted and shook his head, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips even if the expression couldn't be entirely seen.

"Hey." His tone was friendly enough, even almost overly so, as he crouched down in front of the kid and leaned forward to look him over. He noted the injury that the boy had, but didn't say anything of it. He was mildly impressed, the kid had scared off two much bigger and a few years older than him, that took guts. "So, wanna tell me what a scrawny looking scarecrow like yourself is doing out here alone?"

Looking up at the boy Hyuma squinted unsure of what to say, his lip hurt and he was frustrated that his good deed had only caused him more discomfort than anything. Then again to show weakness to the boy in front of him seemed unwise he didn't want to fight but genin were often looking to prove themselves so he needed to treat carefully else risk getting hurt .

“I think, that I'm just picking fights I can't win… and scraping buy on luck…. The trainees….. or I guess my fellow trainees get a bit bloodthirsty this time of the year.”

Still sitting on the ground Hyuma looked up at his elder. Wondering what he wanted with him, again wiping the blood that trickled down his face he pulled a forced grin.

“heh, was it this bad when you were a student? And…. Is it worth becoming a Genin to walk in the sunlight? Ive… I've uhm…. Never seen the sun.”

It seemed like a good way to ingratiate himself to the Genin before him. It might even give him a chance to see the sun….. it at last hear about it from the older boy.

“I'm Hyuma by the way”

Hoseki was training independently at the Academy, his body being pushed to master more techniques that were essential to be a ninja. A quick blow from his arm would spin a wooden plank on the Taijutsu training dummy causing a stake to come for his side. A quick jump and feline esque agility would cause him to dodge with ease, catching the head of the dummy with on hand he would swing his body causing his shoes to crash into the back of the dummy, a small cracking sound was heard causing a grin to stretch on his face. Dropping to all fours, the agile boy stepped back from the dummy and up onto his feet. With a pop from his back and stretching his arms up the boy let out a slow yawn. He had been practicing for a while, but his feline eyeliner had not smudged at all, almost as if permanent. His feline like eyes were shot over the yard as a sound of shuffling commensed.

Most likely it was a few kids picking on a weakling, and just as he thought he saw a boy leave from behind a part of the building holding onto his bag. He must have been the victim of bullying. This was something that he didn't really care about, it didn't concern him and it didn't tickle his fancy either. Well not until he heard two older kids running and yelling as if frightened. This was something that peaked his curiosity. Walking over that way, but not wanting to just walk into what ever was happening the young boy launched himself up on top of the building to see what was happening below. He looked over the edge to see a boy with a bloody face and... his cat eyes focused closer to the older boy... a cute guy with wolf ears?

Luckily enough as it were for the kid that was tucked upon the ground, Urajimiru wasn't exactly looking for a fight. Unlike most, he wasn't constantly looking for ways to prove himself. If a challenge arose, the wolf-boy would take it, that much was obvious. Nonetheless, here in this moment his curiosity had merely gotten the better of him, and here he was staring down at a youngster with that typical twisted sneer that was his normal facial setting.

"Is that so? I wouldn't say you're lucky, kid. Look at your face. You're bleeding. I wouldn't count that as luck at all." Ura shrugged, his ears flicking and his tail swaying gently behind him. Those metal colored eyes never left the kid, peering down at him as a brow lifted and that sneering smile only broadened, exposing those ruthless looking canines of his once more. The questions were different, but Ura could care less about such things and as such he waved a hand flippantly at the boy accompanied by a soft almost lilting laughter. it wasn't a friendly sound, not in any sense. It echoed with an intimidating air within the alleyway.

When that chuckling of his subsided, the wolf-boy merely lifted his shoulders in a nonchalant shrug, his eyes closing for a brief span of time before he spoke. "Student life was a joke. It's not hard at all to make people like you. Just know your stuff, kid." He straighted himself up, no longer wanting to bend down to keep level with the boy he was conversing with. As such he stood and stretched with a growling groan. "If you wanna see the sun, then keep moving forward. I was born outside of this underground hell-hole, so it's really nothing special to me." His tail snapped and wagged behind him, showing that besides his bored tone, Ura was actually amused with the exchange.

"Urajimiru. Higaisha Urajimiru." He bobbed his head in a mocked bow as he returned the introduction with his own. While he gave his name to Hyuma, one of Ura's ears pivoted towards a different sound, something that wasn't entirely near the pair, but close all the same. He waited some time before he would do anything about the observant, his hand settling upon the ring of the giant shuriken strapped to his body. After the kid he was originally speaking with was able to respond to some degree, Ura turned and faced the area that their little 'spy' was tucked away at.

"You can come out now, little mouse. I can hear you." Even as he spoke, there was a strong sense of 'cat' in the air, but he cared little. He lived with the descendants of Byakko, and the smell of cat was something he was quite used to, and something he was wholeheartily not expecting at all. Either way, he blinked slowly and waited for the unknown one to come out and address them.

Upon seeing the incident for himself the boy was no longer interested, even if the wolf boy called him done. With a sigh of disappointment the small silver haired boy turned around and went back to his training.
