Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sara waited at the front of the Maruishi Elites School, the birth place for the many rich or noble families that resided in this section of the city. She herself went to the school down the street from here, a place that utilized some of the same teachers, but just wasn't as pristine, no scratch that, they both used the same gardeners. Was just not as, expensive and select on it's clientele. Though she had left school earlier than others, having chosen to first become a Doctor, and second a ninja. The fact was, she actually worked and studied at this school for a short time before shipping off for Iwagakure. Though, none of her lessons were taught here, she just had to work at the nurses office from time to time for some generalized mild practice. Kissing booboos and placing band aids. The worst injury she saw was a paper cut.

This time around, she was going to be escorting some kid home. She received word from the parents that someone had been threatening the kid. Supposedly someone had been chasing him home for the last few weeks. So, it was her job to find out whom the culprit was, and deal with it as needed. She thought this would be the job of some local police, but for some reason the kid couldn't finger the person whom was doing it. All the intel was so generic and blah, that they couldn't figure out whom was doing it. The police gave up and so, I was called in. Yay, another job in Maruishi. The pastern was obvious. Originally she thought it was a joke that she was sent to the academy so she could get these jobs in Maruishi, so the people, her people as it was, would feel safer. The trust of Iwagakurians was quite low.

She watched for a kid with a red scarf to exit the school and she walked onto the school premiss towards him, skipping along the way. The students separated from her path as she walked, being the only odd man out there, not in a uniform. Though, she was armed so that might have caused the reaction as well. She stopped just short of the kid and bowed to him, "Greetings. I will be escorting you home today." The boy was taken back for a moment as she looked at him, winking in a slightly charming way. She moved to the side as some boys started cracking jokes, watching as he slowly started moving something. They started saying something about her age, and him needing his little sister to take care of him. She didn't react to them, well, until they made some conjecture about her being a freak and a few other choice words, as she weaved a few quick hand signs and she turned towards the voice. Her hands started to glow white, as a yellow bolt of lightning flared out from her hand striking the ground a few feet in front, releasing a crackling thunderous type sound. All the kids nearby jumped, some running away as she stood their, more sounds coming from her clenched fist. "Someone have something to say about me?" She wasn't sure whom said the words, but she sure as hell didn't hear anything else after releasing the jutsu and walking ahead of the boy out of the school grounds.

She cheerfully skipped ahead and behind the boy as she would stop every once in a while and admire something. Some flower they passed, a butterfly fluttering passed, a cute kitty. The boy rushed home after that and as he entered the house she followed behind, being greeted by what she figured to be a housekeeper. She spoke to the man, giving her name than explaining the situation and left just after.

Mission: Escort Rich Kid Home.

You know what the bonuses of working for rich people is, the fact that they might be willing to pay to have a job repeated, over, and over, and over, even if unnecessary. Case in point, Sara had received, yet again, the request from the father of the boy she had escorted just yesterday, this time by name. It would have been pointless to introduce a different person so anyways, so one way or another she would have gotten the job. Fact is, she didn't mind. Why would she? All she had to do was walk a boy home, through the mean streets of a rich neighborhood, where every other house probably had it's own security. It was a simple job, but that was all she could do anyways. And to top it off, she was still studying for classes, so, easy was great!

There she was, outside of the school just around dismissal time, though, now just waiting at the gates instead of across the street on the roof. The red and tan stone building seemed to express expense, as most other buildings of it's nature were more, brownish tan and tan with some brownish tan outlining. Behind her, some woman walked by, heading off to her house most likely, or perhaps a parent or some form of servant for one of the families of a student. She looked up at the sky, watching a bird fly by, following it into a tree on the campus. The bell to release the students rang and she looked for a moment longer before turning towards the doorway, seeing them open a moment later and the students pouring out. Again the students looked at her, some just passing by, a good 8 feet away from her, seeming to funnel tightly out on the other side of the gate. Others seeming unsure of how to continue, and wondered onto the field nearby. She scanned the students and saw her target. He made eye contact, than looked down at his shoes and headed over.

"Afternoon, sir. I will be escorting you home today." He didn't even acknowledge her as he walked passed and she nudged her shoulders up followed behind him. She followed behind him closely, at least for the first five minuets before again, she would run passed him, examining some flowers along the path, following a butterfly that seemed to dance along with the young girl, and again, greeted a cute kitty that was along the path. This time she got to pet it. The boy though kept to himself, not making eye contact with the girl, or the cat and continued walking. A few minuets later, they were both at his house and she followed him in. The boy didn't great the housekeeper, going straight for his room and closing the door with a loud thud behind him. She spoke to the house keeper again, sparking up a conversation about if she wanted a snack, or just to talk about herself. She smiled and gave some small details; academy student, father a doctor at a hospital near by, something that surprised her greatly. A moment later she told the man she had to go and left, heading home after the hard days work. She had several things she needed to study for class the next day, so that would be the remainder of her afternoon.

Today's class required the study of observation, a skill needed to be learned in order to know when certain things around oneself weren't exactly as picturesque as suspected. To be able to tell when an ally is acting oddly or unusual, to know when a noncombatant is avoiding telling you something important, to know when the enemy is creeping up upon you. To know by observation, or at the very least suspect and be cautious when the time is needed. She thought about the day she just had, and the day before, trying to remember all the details of what happened when she escorted the kid back home. Perhaps, something was being missed? So far she hadn't seen any unusual patterns from something that wished the boy ill will. His classmates were a little annoying, though they didn't seem to wish him any harm. The first day of blatant hazing was a norm among students of any school. Plus, she put them in there place. Yet, that didn't seem to bother him at all. He was more annoyed by the fact that she was actually there. That his father had requested a body guard for the boy on his way home.

Something else must have been up. Whom was stalking the boy, and causing the boy to come home wounded. She tried to remember the days as they passed, but nothing would come to mind. Perhaps her very presence had warded off the intruder? She made a mental note of it, and decided the plan of action for tomarrow was to avoid being seen by the boy, or anyone else, and watch over him from the unseen. Perhaps the perp would show themselves if she did that.

Again, she received the mission to watch over the boy, and of course she gladly took it. This time though, she would follow her plan of stay back and watch. She sat on top of the schools building this time. She paced around, waiting for the bell to ring in the next few moments. She was trying to think what she wanted for dinner that night. Perhaps some stewed pork with curry? Or maybe have the leftovers from last night? Her father hadn't come back from the hospital yesterday, perhaps she should also take some food to the hospital for him if he wasn't home when she got there? The bell rang and she looked up at the sky, slowly wondering over to the edge of the school roof, and thinking about what to have. As she peered over, she saw the students that had hassled the boy and herself look around, as if expecting her. "Aww, she isn't here today." "I know, a shame. I was just getting used to her." "Hey Ito, you should have her come back man. She was really cute you know."

Sara blushed ever so slightly, continuing to watch their interactions. She thought that they might be the culprits, but it seemed like they were rather friendly with him. He started to talk to them, assuring her it wasn't them she needed to stop from attacking the boy. She walked along the roof as the boy exited, telling them he would see them early in the morning. Then jumped from the roof into a tree. She followed the boy home, nothing different or out of the ordinary from the usual path he took yesterday or the day before. She let out a sigh as they were about 2 blocks from the kids house, disappointing that her plan didn't come to fruition. Though, she shook her head also at such a thought, telling herself that she actual wanted the boy to be attacked? Then he came to a stop. She couldn't see why he stopped, slowly backing up for some odd reason. She jumped to another tree to get a better look of what was ahead of him, unable to see anything wrong. As she landed, she peered over to see what was having him stop in his tracks. It was the small kitten that she played with yesterday and the day before. It stood in front of him, stepping forward as he stepped back. If this was a comedy, this would have been the point she would have fallen over, or just plainly started laughing her brains out. Though she was confused right now. The boy took his bag and placed it in front of himself as if a shield.

She thought to herself, 'This couldn't seriously be', that was when the cat started to hiss and charge at him, stopping just short. The boy coward behind the bag, holding it up to protect his face. She jumped out of the tree landing behind the boy. The cat flinched, unsure of how to continue. She continued walking up to the boy, and the cat now placing it's side to both of them. "Shu, shu, go away.", she pawed her hand towards it like a cat. The cat ran off after she was next to the boy and spoke, running across the street and into someones yard. The boy was shocked to see her. "It's fine now. Let's get going.", she said softly, without any hesitation. The walk of those two blocks was a dead silence, right up until a few steps from the front door. "I...You know..Please don't tell my father!" The boy spoke with some quickness. "I know it doesn't seem that scary to you but to me.." "I understand young sir. That thing did seem to be quite fierce towards you. Don't worry about a thing. I will have it taken care of later." She looked back at him, a smile on her face to reassure him. "Your laughing at me inside aren't you." The boy's expression slightly angry. "Of course not. Plus, no one does need to know of this. So I will keep it secret." The boy let out a sigh, relaxing slightly as they just stood there. Sara turned back around, opened the door and they both headed inside.

Re: Body Guard for the rich and not so famous [Mission][Clos

A few moments after the two of them entered the boys house, they were greeted by the housekeeper. The boy stayed behind Sara as they entered the kitchen, escorted by the housekeeper who spoke about going into the kitchen for a quick pick of snacks. The boy followed oddly enough, usually he would just separate and vanish up the stairs of the house shortly after entering but he seemed unsure of what to do about the fact that the enemy was finally found out by the girl. After a moment, the boy picked something to snack on, and a drink and Sara too was offered some. She was unsure if she should, but did so graciously. The housekeeper started to ask the boy how his day went, seeming to be just as surprised at his actions, and seemingly sure of what had happened that day on the way home. The boy was quite, just talking about his day at school and his assignments and homework for the day. After he finished the man asked if he needed help and escorted him out of the room before turning around to face the girl. "If you could, the master of the house would like to see you in his office, please." She pointed had the girl follow, and pointed towards the office, a room just outside of the main entry way. Then she continued to have the boy follow to another office to do his homework.

She entered the room, unsure of many aspects of this mission. She now knew the offender, but was unsure of how to continue. And now the master of the house wanted to see her. As she knocked, he asked her to enter and she waited for him to speak. In 3 minuets he started to ask her if the problem, the cause of the boy's problems, was discovered and resolved. Sara spoke with some unsureness in her voice, stating that the problem wasn't fully resolved, but she had decreased the possible suspects and would have the problem fixed by tomarrow. The man tried to dig into whom the suspects were but she didn't say, and assured him it would be resolved. He didn't seem to happy about the answere, having asked the question in a multitude of ways to try and dig it out of her. Though he eventually gave up, and made sure Sara promised that it would be solved. She promised, with a guareentee that if she didn't, she would continue her service free of charge. He seemed pleased and Sara left the house, now thinking of what she should do.

Kill the cat? Option 1, and the least favored one. It would solve the problem, but still seemed a little dramatic. Capture the kitten and place it somewhere else? Could be problematic if the cat made it's way back to the spot. She would get an earful from the missions office for that failure. Option three was to take the cat to a shelter. Though more favorable then killing, it might lead to the same ending. She needed to solve this problem somehow. What if the cat belonged to someone? Though, she was sure this wasn't the case at hand. The best solution was an obvious one for her at the end, after weighting the positive and negatives of it all.

Again, she followed the boy, this time joining him just after he left the school. She tried to speak with him about what he would like to have done to the kitten. He seemed fearful of it greatly, and told her to do with it as she saw fit. She smiled and then said that perhaps he should keep it at his house. He got upset at this idea and she just smiled. Then assured him the problem would be no more after today. Again, the same spot, the same kitten, the same joyful look on it's face as they approached it. She walked up to the cat and picked it up, and turned to the boy. "Tell you what, I will take the cat with me then. You should be thankful, this should stop it from showing up."

That was the end of this boys tragic story. Sara gained a pet, and the boy a happy ending as well. Though she hadn't told her father of this little detail yet. Perhaps he would be okay, as having a pet would be nice since he was away every so often. Hopefully the cat doesn't destroy the house though.
