Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

People who yearned for power often get consumed by such thoughts. In a way, it spoils the mind, taints the heart, and engulfs the soul. Kiri was no different, but there was just one diverging factor – it wasn’t entirely him who yearned it. Rather, it was his brother, the soul that had become the Cursed Beast of Ruin that resides in him. And it wasn’t so much of a coveted desire, but more of the corruption of the ideal. His brother who was once a competent shinobi of the Hasegawa Clan, unfortunately met his demise before Kiri ever knew him. It was a clan taboo and so his execution was but a punishment. And though the curse had corrupted his soul, a part of him remained as who he was, and being the mediating entity inside Kiri, he was the perfect mitigator for desires that destroy the person.

“Did you seek for someone strong?” asked the beast in his head as he was walking down to Shinbatsu’s Path.

Here, the halls were shinobis before him had trained, blood and sweat, formed their strong bodies and enduring minds– he, too, would undergo such lengths to become a worthy shinobi. Though perhaps the first and foremost reason for desiring such power is not so much like the others. He had no wish for dominance. He only wanted control. Control for his own heart and the beast. Even if he had long accepted the presence of his brother, he had always thought that the latter suffered in the hands of the curse, and so if he could only control the curse of their clan – to transcend being merely a Cursed Beast of Ruin – that was dream. The rest will follow. He’ll be able to control himself, and in effect, he’ll be more effective.

“It’s the one from the class the other day. He was rather competent. I can’t improve if I can’t challenge those above me,” answered Kiri.

Unlike that time, he had finally found some time to buy some clothes. As he wasn’t into fashion, today he wore a jersey set, which he thought would be quite fitting for this exercise (not that it was to be an ordinary exercise). He figured he should reserve his better-looking attire for more official matters. Not to mention that said ensemble was looking to be replaced soon. For now, at least, so long as the clothes allowed him to move freely, it was not a problem. So a red jersey jacket over plain white shirt, with a matching red jogging pants, and trainers. But of course, he would never leave without his cape (which was begging to be laundered and patched soon, perhaps when he has more time aside from studying). His uchigatana would dangle from his left side, securely fastened by a belt.

And as he walked out into the large training grounds, he waited for the other, while takling with his beast.
