Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Tao since the moment he was born had a strange affinity to anything that is related to light, as he was born out of a creature much like a Will-o-Wisp. Tao in the beginning was an orb of light himself, and evolved over time to take form of a human body, or so it appears while his insides are nothing but a mass of pure energy covering his original form, an orb of condense energy which seems to be light itself. Like his creator, he has almost complete control over the light manifested through his body and can manipulate to his liking from glowing of specific sections of his body to the entire thing and even creating light on an external basis such as waves, beams and orbs of light, while it is hard to explain how his ability works in it's entirety considering the fact that it's more of a natural gift that he had since birth. The light within him however also works as a repellent onto anything that is considered as "dark" whether if its curses or dark physiological manipulations which can never infect him while he'd be willing it (meaning, he cannot turn himself into anything that is "dark" but others can forcefully turn him into such [OOC: That will require my OOC approval], while in the same time his powers can also intensify abilities such as Shadow manipulations if used correctly (extending one's shadow while screening light from the other direction of the object/body)

Holy Weapon - Passive (3 points)
The blade of the Spiritualist must be mighty and strike true, just as all their blows must. One with this special affinity can strike well indeed. The inner light of the user's chakra shimmers off a blade with this power in it, and they are said never to grow dull or rusty, and the wood of their wooden weapons to never rot or need polishing.
Effect: Grants +10% damage and +1 accuracy to the user's weapon of choice. While the user carries this weapon, their healing jutsu are 15% more effective.
White Blessing - Boost (1 point) x2
Restriction- Can only be purchased twice
Spiritualist emanate a calming, pacifying aura that washes over their allies, imbuing them with a sense of precision and clear-mindedness that makes their strikes more precise.
Effect: User and allies gain +1 accuracy. Does not stack with other users of White Blessing.
Holy Embodiment - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
As guardians against evil, Spiritualists are naturally resistant to the effects of it. They do not shirk in the face of fear, nor are they repelled easily. Those Spiritualists with this skill are said to have the appearance of a shimmering white aura around them by those sensitive to such things, as if to shield them.
Effect: All Dark jutsu do 50% damage to them. User is immune to fear effects and intimidation effects. Suppression or other AP reduction or attack disrupting effects have only half their normal chance of working on them.
Divine Health - Boost (1 points) x3
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
As their spiritual powers are divine, so is their ability to repair and restore others. A Spiritualist not only is able to fix others wounds at an increased rate, but when the favor is returned, they heal more quickly themselves as well.
Effect: All Healing jutsu used by or on the user is increased by +5%. In addition, the user recovers +1% Max HP while resting.
Spiritual Chakra - Boost (1 point) x2
Restriction- Can be purchased twice
The default chakra of a Spiritualist is not the same as that of their fellow ninja, but rather gifted with a different kind of power altogether. It seems to cut through anything that hinders it with little effort.
Effect: +5% damage to all Ninjutsu. This damage counts as 'Light' element and cuts through half of Ninjutsu damage reduction. This bonus applies to all other Spiritualist light chakra techniques as well.
White Blaze - Dependent Special Move (3 points)
Those who only possess one form of a technique are likely to be outmaneuvered. In addition to possessing the power to convert a jutsu into an attack on a single target, the Spiritualist also can gain the skill to weaken it slightly and make the range of the jutsu expand instead, favoring an increased chance to strike over damage.
Effect: The user is able to convert any Ninjutsu into a Light-Element attack dealing +10% Damage to a 25x25 foot area, but costing an additional +10% Chakra. This attack cuts through half of all damage reduction, and does not receive any Elemental buffs.
Illuminate - Jutsu (1 point, 1 point to rank up) (2)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
The most powerful weapon in a Spiritualist's arsenal, this technique consists of a flurry of their special chakra directed at the opponent, striking them in a series of damaging rays. The attack usually stuns those who haven't seen it before, as the flashes of light emitted are quite bright and as unnatural-seeming as the rest of the Spiritualist's skills.
Rank 1: Five flashes of light chakra at 1000 damage each. Attack counts as non-elemental Ninjutsu and cuts through half of all relevant damage reduction.
Rank 2: Five flashes of light chakra at 1200 damage each. Attack counts as non-elemental Ninjutsu and cuts through half of all relevant damage reduction.
Divinity Aura - Modification (2 points)
Restriction- Must have the Chakra Extension Jutsu
The normally invisible and intangible aura of holy energy that suffuses the Spiritualist is able to become a physical, visible presence when the user chooses to use it. Their weapon glows brightly with a light that makes it difficult to look at, and the normal rules for the Aura jutsu are surpassed if the Spiritualist wills it.
Effect: Grants an additional +1 Accuracy. If the special effect Aura is used and the next Taijutsu Attack is used by the chosen weapon, the attack cuts through all Damage Reduction.

Release Restraint
Tao knew his role within a team and was perfecting his skills accordingly, and since he was the supportive type, he had to figure out a way to be able to always heal and give support to his teammates. One of the biggest obstacles were binds, they were designed to force the targets to stop moving entirely while the bind was still valid which will compromise Tao's position and could lead to the death of his entire team. So Tao worked tirelessly with the help of some Jounins on resisting binds and breaking out of them as quickly as he could, and while it was no easy task to accomplish, he managed to break out of most of them in the record of 5 seconds which is nowhere near where he wished to reach with the training, but it was an improvement and could already be applied to live battles.
Barrier Mastery
Over the years, Tao was working mainly on defensive tactics since all he wanted to do is to protect those he cared for, thus he worked on his barrier Ninjutsu, honed the skills and perfected them to the point that they can endure a lot more damage than before. His mastery over barriers increased enough for him to be able to use them reflexively without the use of handseals, just by channeling his chakra in a spherical manner around himself or whoever he wants to protect and create a shell of sorts around them with hexagon patterns where their outlines are glowing faint white and the center is transparent. With this achievement he felt like he was one step closer to becoming the shield of those he wanted to protect.
Healing Factor
Tao's body was quite special, while it exists for no reasons humans can comprehend, it is built by creating a shell around the stored masses of energy to keep them in and make sure they wont leak out in any case of the shell being damaged or destroyed. However there were times when he was attacked and cuts were formed on his shell which while humans would bleed, he would leak out his energy instead which to him was as deadly as it is bleeding for human beings. So, his body began to evolve to adapt to the situation and solve the problem within it's structures, what it basically did was recreating the cells of the texture on the damaged skin of the shell surrounding Tao to reform the surface and close any openings it might have so that the energy can be contained again.
Transmit Life
One of Tao's greatest features was his ability to manipulate cells of biological structures and beings. While he have done it only on himself and created the magnificent human-like shell that is surrounding Tao's original form to this day, he began investigating the affects that might occur on other biological beings, he began experimenting on animals during his journey and while he couldn't open their skins, he could close their wounds by forcing their body to regenerate and recreate the cells that were destroyed in the wounding process. While it was a bit easier preforming on animals, human forms were much more complex, the outer skin had a similar concept but the inner organs were located and functioned differently and since he had none of them on his own, he had a hard time grasping how to treat them at first, but over time he managed to figure out ways to do so, even without him physically touching the body himself but from a distance (a short one).
Jutsu Mastery
While Tao was working on his skills as a supporter of the team, he made a heavy emphasis on knowing his jutsus, how they work, how to manipulate them and how to maintain them to the point where he needed the absolute minimum to preform them. While the process was definatly a long one and included many explosions from jutsus that Tao lost control over them due to long maintain periods of time. The jutsus he studied so intensely worked all differently than the other which made it so much more difficult to find the right way to use each of them while he had to remember each one's ideal principle and methods of usage in the best way possible.
Clarity
In battle, one of the biggest problems are the abilities to fool someone's senses and make them think something else is happening while in actuality they get themselves in much greater danger than before, which is known as Genjutsu (illusions). Tao as the support of the team is responsible of being aware of everything that's going on around him and everyone else first to be able to assist anyone in need, and thus he had to be able to detect and contain illusions as quickly and efficiently as possible. He practiced with quite talented Genjutsu users to be able to differ from an illusion and reality and even more be able to deal with them more easily through practice. Tao has achieved an understanding of Genjutsu and even learned some himself to be able to deal with them more efficiently.
Hidden Power
In many situations Tao was left in a state very close to death, but for some reason, he didn't want to give up, not until he finishes the mission he was sent out into the world to accomplish, that most basic instinct that he shouldn't have had to begin with was one of the many things he copied from studying the humans for such a long time, the will to survive and to push forward to live another day, an incredible strength that can be drawn only at those times to keep him going at all times. In many ways, this ability was always Tao's tramp card but luckily enough he didn't have to use it more than twice thus far.
Insight
Tao's study of the human race, their mannerisms and tracks of thought made him be able to understand much more easily how they work, what drives them to do what they're doing for better and for worst and maybe most importantly being able to see all the sides of the conflict and not just something one sided as classifying them as "evil" or "good" in any way. His studies began showing them that the human mind often have conflicting thoughts which mostly are the trigger for actions that normally would be done on a whim, things like emotions often drive them to do things they often wouldn't do like protecting someone they don't know or kill someone on a whim.
Sixth Sense
Tao is a very special kind of person, his body is made differently and maybe so does his mind, but while he isn't truly a human, he holds a special connection with his creator which could be viewed both as a blessing and a curse. This connection lets him sort of see beyond the sight of a normal person, he could sense things around him as well, like for instance, he could sense an incoming attack that targets him from a blind spot, regardless of how narrow it is. And while that this ability is quite supernatural in many ways, Tao has noticed through his journey to stone that he was not the only person who possessed it despite the fact that he wasn't human, maybe humans have this kind of ability as well.
Jutsu Creator
Tao's mastery over his own jutsus grew much deeper than before when he could instinctively combine jutsus of the same kind and use them together as a brand new jutsu, creating them on the spot was much more difficult than creating them with his own passé and time on his hand, it always happened spontaneously and had a risk to it, where the jutsu would fail and it might even explode in his face due to poor combinations of elements that don't mix well together (not necessarily actual elements like fire and such but rather more like attributes). Over time, he managed to figure out some great combinations of jutsus which he memorized and practiced over and over again in order to be able to use them efficiently in battle.
Human Anatomy
Tao's study of the human beings didn't stop on how they acted, he wanted to know all about them, how they work, what makes them so different from all the other animals, how they function under different situations and of course, how they bodies were built. He had to break corpses down and learn about their inner functions, reading books in his later years also helped him advance in his studies much further and of course, through combat he could manifest the theory into action where he used specific vital spots and natural weak points to take an advantage in a fight, he found out that while some sections of both the male and female body are more sensitive than the others, they also make an interesting affect on them as well if they're hit in said spots, for instance, by hitting one of them, he could make them suffocate, another spot could make them confused and another could make them lose balance and switch their eye sight coordination, it was a truly fascinating practice that eventually he could take into action.

With this strange power, Tao managed to find use unconventional uses like turning his palm or finger into some sort of flashlight where he could check specific dark spots if needed or even make his entire body glow to brighten up dark places although in cases where he'd be in stealth missions, this ability will be a disadvantage since he could affectively give away his location quite easily, but that goes double for when he faces others in stealth, he could find them much easier by shining his light and reveling their locations much quicker and more easily.

Over many months of practice Tao have been through within the Rounin Estate, he have spared many time with the staff of the estate and many time he was put into situations where he had to fight against many foes while being on his own, he have worked on focusing solely on one target at a time to lower their numbers as quickly as he could to even the battlefield, and as time progressed he managed to pay as little attention to his surroundings as needed while putting as much focus as he could against that one person he had to take down at the time. While he wasn't dumb enough to disregard their existence completely, he'd often put up barriers when needed when they would attack him, but he only attacked that one target at all times until it went down and afterwards he continued to beat the rest into submission, one at a time.
Elemental Aura (WC: 337)
Tao was always fascinated with the gifts of chakra he had implemented in him to the extent he began to attempt to control the glow that was always spontaneously emitting from his body. Apparently it had something to do with the chakra flow within his body and it's link to his own emotions. What he figured he should do is learn to control his chakra better, even before he emits it out of his body, which was hard considering that the majority of the content of his body is actually chakra. After long, LONG period of time, stretching to somewhere around a month or two of constant self study and training followed by meditations and emotion containing exercises. At that point he began to start working on something else, constant chakra manifestation into what appeared to be layers upon layers of chakra that would surround his body. He wasn't aware of what it was capable of at first or the type of jutsu it was associated with, but it helped him a great deal to understand how his own chakra works to the extent where he could control his inner chakra flow much better then before. That was probably one of the first times he ever managed to use any sort of chakra armor, the very first one he discovered was the chakra armor of light, a thick layer of chakra that would surround his body and forcefully illuminate it outwards, while in combat that would be a very nice distraction it wouldn't be useful when trying to be stealthy, but then something else occurred to him, while he constantly maintains a specific chakra type on his body, jutsus containing that same chakra type would often be much easier to control, as if the constant chakra management helped him concentrate over the same principles that would follow when using other jutsus of that chakra type. This skill was by far the most useful thing he had discovered in all the time he have been in this country.

When working on one's techniques it is also very important to work on defensives, now sure Tao was already extremely familiar with barriers, but sometimes they simply not enough to support one's defense. For that purpous Tao has began training how to defend himself without activating barriers whatsoever. At first he began to try to absorb attacks heads on, but that was proven quite useless, well not entirely since he was now able to more or less estimate what sort of attack he could handle next to what he had to dodge no matter what. Then he began to start shooting down attacks with attacks of his own, it was extremely hard to find the right timing to throw off an attack, but it was manageable at some point, though at that time he figured that it wasn't exactly the purpous of his training, so he dropped that's as well. Next he had to figure out how to take the least amount of damage when being attacked and aside from completely avoiding it he came up with something entirely different - shifting the attack elsewhere, that way he would get the least amount of damage from that attack and be able to recover from it almost instantly, but then a thought came back to him, what if he could redirect that attack not to some random location but back towards the sender instead to double the productivity. He had to try it out. The first few attempts were not only impossibly hard but also got him more harmed than he would get from simply defending against it without redirection. He continued to train on this aspect for a couple of weeks while forcing the estate staff to stand in front of him and either hit him with blunt weapons or throw at him knives and rocks, the knives were very dangerous unlike the rocks to Tao's skin, so he tried to be extra careful with them during training, and one day on pure reflex he managed to catch the knife that just missed him and threw it at the door that was near by, while he was doing it subconsciously he did manage to land a strike at an actual intended target. With more practice he managed to reach his goal, now he could defend himself even without using his own jutsus or setting up barriers.

Once Tao got his cursed seal, his body began to change an alter, his fake skin did not know how to handle the new chakra that began to creep within it and it became to crystalize. Tao instinctively managed to draw power from that new chakra to manage to use his crystalized skin as a weapon, but what happened afterwards was that he managed to reduce the stress created on the disharmony in his skin by drawing out the element that was causing it and pushing it outwards into a new form, that form was a solid, glass-like solid substance which crept and grew on whatever it touched. That is when he found out he could cause things to crystalize or rather, to grow crystals by infusing that mixture of his original chakra and his new one coming from the cursed seal. Later on he managed to even control it's shape and density as well as the rate of it's growth and it's size in general, he could even control where it'd grow to and if needed use it to create new things, like solid surface that wasn't there before or even a weapon. By causing it to grow on his body, he could create an armor and a weapon which he could break at any time if it would impair his motion in some way or another. He could shoot it into the sky and then break it to cause smaller shards of crystal to rain down on the field, he could cause it to grow around him on the ground to create a protective circle of spikes to protect himself against incoming attacks. This is probably the first time he managed to create something that is physical rather than his power over light. All that he had left is to perfect his control over it while trying to make sure that it wont control over him instead.
With Tao's newest discovery that he can control the solid glass-like objects known as crystals and even create them at will, he attempted to combine the usage of that new skill along with his older power, the power over light. He attempted to create crystal with smooth surfaces that could cause light bounce off of them and be redirected towards another direction. Many attempts has been made and most of them failed, it was extremely hard to smoothen enough the crystal to cause it to have a reflective surface, at least enough to be able to redirect his light. He attempted to maybe try to change his pattern of thought and maybe try to let the light go through the crystals, that would mean that he'll have to alter their very core essence, he had to first cause it to become clear enough to let the light pass through it, first he managed to make it a bit cloudy but clear enough to let some light go through, but it was in no way enough. He had to push that concept even further while smoothing even further the surface. Miraculously he managed to accomplish that in a matter of days. The crystal was smooth and reflective as well as it was clear, Tao could cause light to enter the crystal and bounce off of it into many directions in a colorful prism, and the crystals he would create all around, the more light he could scatter around as well with less effort than ever. Tao now experimented with the reflectiveness of the crystals, he could now see his own image when he would stare into it as clearly as day, as if he would be looking into a mirror. He then wondered, what if he were to make these crystals smooth and reflective but also not as clear as before, but in the same thick substance type that it originated in, this way his light could no longer go through the crystal, but it reflected off of it much more efficiently, that made another interesting discovery, now he could use these crystals to bounce light around without breaking it apart into a prism but let it remain in it's original, more concentrated form. He would pray for the day where he wouldn't need to use that in battle, but he had to get stronger to be able to protect the world, that is after all his ultimate goal.
