She was looking for a man, well everyone was looking for a man at this bar... even a few of the men, but she was looking for a man for an entirely different reason. She was seeking the Tsuchikage and she was looking for him in Soons Haven, the last place he was publicly recorded to visit. Kages, much like pop stars and celebrities were rather well-known in not only the political but also the social world. Smut magazines questioned his relationship with his dog and while the truth behind it made for an interesting read the relevance was always where they were seen last and that was Wind Country. She wondered if the Iwa leader died from his injuries on that day, an unlikely happenstance because it would have likely led to a war between the desert community and the mountain dwelling isolationists to the north.
So she asked a few questions. She would get very little from those she asked. If they knew the Tsuchikage was here in Soons it would likely be in all of the papers. Occasionally she would meet a liar who would claim to know something but their need for a greased palm or their hazy memory that could only be cleared with a few minutes in the alley suggested that perhaps they did not know as much as they claimed. So they were ignored. His appearance, less the dog was rather mundane for a melting pot community such as this -- blonde hair and pale to perhaps lightly tanned skin. The pictures suggested his eyes might be red but she was not sure if it was the fault of the photograph or a phenomena with his particular eyes.
She knew she would not find him, things were never that easy. So she left him a message, one in every bar. --
Former friends her ass, but what if the demon was not a liar. It was worth a shot.
