Blood spatters and scores of men dropped, for what reason? That was the condition of war. Broken families, brother against brother, and child against father. . . War, it never changed. That was why it was something that needed to be avoided. It had no place here, and it put all of the people whom couldn't defend themselves in danger. What for? Just a blind man's dream. For a man's dream of making a mark on the world before he is abolished from his throne. Hah, and then puppets would be pushed away and out of whatever position of power that they had obtained unlawfully. Oh, but don't take it from someone deemed a traitor. After all, if she was not successful in her endeavors, the world was going to have to witness something that was not going to make anyone happy. It was a full moon tonight. And it was questionable as to what kind of people would be out and about this night, but she was not going to question it. The ivory beams of light almost made it seem like day, but it was not enough to warrant the streets to be active and full of the hustle that normally accompanied the day time. The sound of heels would tap against the ground, a powerful stride and the sound of a sword clattering around within a sheath there with every step. She had something in mind for tonight, but would it bode well with anyone who would lay in wait at the place that she would arrive at? She did not believe so. This was a place that she had not been at in a long, long time. She did not believe it to be the place that she needed to be, but now that her mind was clear and the blindfold was pulled away from her eyes... It was easier for her to make her approach. After all, could anyone here really stop her? No, they damn well could not, and she would not shy away from a battle. No, not anymore. She didn't need to act coy or anything like that, because she would be damned if she had to act like a child to get where she needed to be.
The tromping sounds of boot clad feet would be the echo around the area. The guards that she so fondly remembered from the days of her youth: When she wanted to go hang out with Souji, they wouldn't tell her mom where she had disappeared off to, but rather claimed ignorance. It was because of those men and women that she had actually been allowed to have any sort of life without the constant breath down her neck. These were people that she would bring no harm, but rather... Behind one she would appear, and she would reach up to tap a hand against the side of his head, laying him out... Cold. Hah. Then, she would bend her body backwards, landing on a palm before twisting herself into a flip, landing next to yet another guard, a woman this time, and she would place her finger to her lips, "Shhhh..." The woman would give Haruka an incredulous look before attempting to make a depression in the headset button upon her head, but only a brief line of static would transpose over before an ice needle would fly through the headset, and a strangely fanged grin would touch Haruka's lips. "Night." And her palm would lay against the guard's forehead and soon she would join her companion, slumped back against the wall. And like a ghost in the night, Haruka would dissipate off and away, into the Cage and into the halls that only she knew the best. Her feet barely made sound despite the white heels that they were bound in, but that was simply just from years of practice. There was one place that she wanted to break into right now, but was that even considered breaking into if it were still her very own? Nah, she had every right to be here even if a fake was placed into some kind of power over her. After all, this was where she had grown up, this was where she played with her friends, and this is where she had one too many close calls. Though only one other person would really know what kind of close calls those were.
Stopping before a door, she would look upon it for a moment and then push it open. Her rooms had always been booby trapped. That wouldn't change. After all, the blood stains on the carpet did not lie to her. People had attempted to make their way into this room, and failed. Little did they know that the chakra within the door lived and breathed the cold, and any body temperature higher than that would leave someone incredibly hurt. Pushing the door open now, she would look around. It was unchanged. So she knew that no one had dared touch a single bit of her things. If they had? Oh, she would have to murder someone. Snap their necks maybe. Something along those lines. Hah. Walking into the room splashed in a navy and silver coloration, her eyes would gaze around and she would let out a sigh, her shoulders dropping. There was one thing that she was here for. Pacing over to her night stand, she would reach out and pick up a locket, soon cracking it open to peer upon the pictures within. Very small pictures-- One side held Sakezuki and Taro. The other side? Souji, Haruka, and Akari. Her fingertips would reach out slowly, grazing along the surface as if to make no smudge there and she would give a small sigh. Turning around, she would sit down upon the still made up bed to peer closely at the locket.
Memories. Didn't they hurt like some kind of bitch? It was really almost sickening. Now Souji was fucked in the head, Akari was god knows where, her mother and father gone from the country that she had grown up in... Squeezing her eyes shut, she would let a small hiss wheeze through her teeth. "When did I fuck everything up? I knew I shouldn't have thought of myself first..." She would whisper, reaching up and lacing her fingers through her hair. She probably needed to go, but the memories just flooded back into her mind. The Jinchuuriki's insane ramblings of the past... Her mother's scolding whenever she would climb up to the top of this building... The fleeting touches and kisses that were had here in this room with what could only be considered her ex... Akari sneaking into the Cage only to snuggle up to her side... And now it was a slate that begged to be wiped clean, but she couldn't let it. She wouldn't let it.
There was something within her that told her...
Burn it all down.
