Tama showed up at the the Aescepulum early one morning. She passed by a mother kunoichi who was walking her son out of the building, "Let's go now Tai, they've moved them somewhere else anyways." The boy followed his mother with a dejected expression, "Awwwwwww, but I love dead bodies."
Seeing the scene made Tama wonder what her and Shiranai's children would look like, if they ever got that far. One day, she thought blissfully as she walked up to the receptionist at the desk and waved cheerily, her mind now back to the task at hand, “Mornin’ ladies and gents! I’m here to request someone of medical import to escort me to the used and pre-owned body section of the hospital! I’d like to make a selection.” After learning about the chimeric abilities she had inherited from Haruko’s failed attempt to take over her body, Tama had spent a long time thinking about just what she could do with them. The ghostly kunoichi that floated around from time-to-time had explained that Chimeras could manifest the genetic traits and abilities of shinobi they absorbed. So Tama had decided to abosrb a body from that would help her in performing. Not that she knew what abilities a particular dead shinobi would have, and that was why she stood trying to summon a medical person who could show her around the morgue, or rather the used and pre-owned body lot.
She had a small list of qualifications that she had come up with, because her elder sister Sonoko had warned to make sure she had done some research beforehand. “Tama, make sure you know what you’re looking for. And make sure to check for structural damage, internal problems, and the like. You don’t want them pushing a lemon on you. Remember, med-nin can be very aggressive despite their healing nature. I believe they get a bonus commision on sale as well.” Tama rechecked her list. Making sure that she had included everything she thought was important was, well, important. In somewhat simple looking script, was written the following:
-Physically strong
Tama couldn’t settle for a weak body. It had to be tough, and powerful, and awesome. Much like herself.
-High-performance
The body had to able to contribute to the Mochizuki’s performances. Nothing that would hinder the fluid and graceful movements of acrobatics, dances, stage fights, contortions.
-Good miles-per-calorie rating (Whatever that means?)
Tama was unsure of what this one meant. Sonoko had insisted on it. Something about maintaining a proper ratio of energy produced to fuel consumed. Tama would figure it out later.
-No genetic-based diseases (A must)
Since Chimeras abosrbed things on the genetic level, Haruko had insisted that Tama make sure she didn’t absorb any genetic maladies. Since they would affect the Mochizuki as well, and be nearly impossible to remove from her genetic code once added. That was scary, and one of the reasons Tama was going to look with a med-nin and not just rush into it herself.
Folding the list once again, she replaced it in her pocket and waited as the busy receptionist signaled the next available medical staff to assist the young Mochizuki.
