Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Tama showed up at the the Aescepulum early one morning. She passed by a mother kunoichi who was walking her son out of the building, "Let's go now Tai, they've moved them somewhere else anyways." The boy followed his mother with a dejected expression, "Awwwwwww, but I love dead bodies."

Seeing the scene made Tama wonder what her and Shiranai's children would look like, if they ever got that far. One day, she thought blissfully as she walked up to the receptionist at the desk and waved cheerily, her mind now back to the task at hand, “Mornin’ ladies and gents! I’m here to request someone of medical import to escort me to the used and pre-owned body section of the hospital! I’d like to make a selection.” After learning about the chimeric abilities she had inherited from Haruko’s failed attempt to take over her body, Tama had spent a long time thinking about just what she could do with them. The ghostly kunoichi that floated around from time-to-time had explained that Chimeras could manifest the genetic traits and abilities of shinobi they absorbed. So Tama had decided to abosrb a body from that would help her in performing. Not that she knew what abilities a particular dead shinobi would have, and that was why she stood trying to summon a medical person who could show her around the morgue, or rather the used and pre-owned body lot.

She had a small list of qualifications that she had come up with, because her elder sister Sonoko had warned to make sure she had done some research beforehand. “Tama, make sure you know what you’re looking for. And make sure to check for structural damage, internal problems, and the like. You don’t want them pushing a lemon on you. Remember, med-nin can be very aggressive despite their healing nature. I believe they get a bonus commision on sale as well.” Tama rechecked her list. Making sure that she had included everything she thought was important was, well, important. In somewhat simple looking script, was written the following:

-Physically strong

Tama couldn’t settle for a weak body. It had to be tough, and powerful, and awesome. Much like herself.

-High-performance

The body had to able to contribute to the Mochizuki’s performances. Nothing that would hinder the fluid and graceful movements of acrobatics, dances, stage fights, contortions.

-Good miles-per-calorie rating (Whatever that means?)

Tama was unsure of what this one meant. Sonoko had insisted on it. Something about maintaining a proper ratio of energy produced to fuel consumed. Tama would figure it out later.

-No genetic-based diseases (A must)

Since Chimeras abosrbed things on the genetic level, Haruko had insisted that Tama make sure she didn’t absorb any genetic maladies. Since they would affect the Mochizuki as well, and be nearly impossible to remove from her genetic code once added. That was scary, and one of the reasons Tama was going to look with a med-nin and not just rush into it herself.

Folding the list once again, she replaced it in her pocket and waited as the busy receptionist signaled the next available medical staff to assist the young Mochizuki.

"Oh jeez, some of it got on me..." The look of dismay and disappointment on Kotsuko's face as he looked down at his medical jacket was all too serious. As his index finger wiped over the dozen or so globules of dried blood, the young man let out an annoyed 'tch.' It must have splattered on there when he was removing his gloves after that last surgery. He really should have been more mindful of that. He really didn't like getting his clothes dirty, though it didn't matter much to him whether it had been blood or food. It just annoyed him that it was on his shirt, where it didn't belong. "That's going to take a bit of scrubbing to get out." Still fiddling with the stains on his jacket as he walked, Kotsuko eventually decided to give up on that front. Still a little frustrated by the splatter, the young man walked through the halls towards his research area. There was plenty of things there to keep him occupied until his next surgery. The quickest route to get to the research building would be to cut through the main entrance, so he turned right at the next hallway and continued through two more doors.

As he walked through the main entrance, he saw a woman standing in front of the receptionist, who was speaking in a matter-of-fact tone: "...and I understand that ma'am, but you haven't scheduled an appointment for this. If you want to see a doctor about a kinjutsu operation, then you'll have to make an appointment and come back another day." Kotsuko's eyes lit up. What was this? He altered his course, and instead of heading through another set of doors off to the side he rapidly approached the front desk. He came from behind the Mochizuki woman, potentially startling her. He dirty grey hair covered his cloud grey eyes rather well. "What do we have here? The young miss wants a Kinjutsu?" The receptionist seemed surprised at his sudden arrival, and took a moment to get herself in order. "Oh, uh, yes, sir. She is inquiring about some of the bodies that are available in the morgue, presumably for the use of a Kinjutsu operation. I was just telling her ho-" I'll take her right now." The receptionist seemed baffled, unable to understand what the young man was saying. "I'm sorry sir, but this is completely unothodo-" "Don't care. She's coming with me now. Put her doctor down as 'Sasaki Kotsuko.'" And with that, he began to scoot the woman off towards one of the doors, not even waiting for the receptionist to respond.

As the pair walked through the halls, Kotsuko kept his eyes forward as they talked. "Alright, let's get the basic info out of the way fast. I want to do the important stuff just as much as you do." He grabbed a clipboard and a pen from one of the many desks that were around, presumably belonging to someone else. There had been some scribbling on the first page, so Kotsuko ripped the page out and threw it back onto a different desk. Starting to scribble some things, Kotsuko didn't lift his eyes from the page. "Alright. Name, reason for being here, and any previous or current conditions." Kotsuko wasn't keen on waiting. He simply wasn't the patient type, when he didn't have to be. Hopefully this Mochizuki woman would be able to keep up, both in pace and in conversation.

Today MiT Osuteno was "assisting in the morgue" which really meant he was sitting alone in a cold and relatively dark room simply making sure that all the body tags were correct while the actual doctors were out playing some game where they hit a ball with a stick and see who could hit the farthest or something. A doctor who had been traveling brought the game back and for some reason it appealed to the older people. Still, as dull as the game seemed Osu's concern was that he was alone in a room full of cadavers and nothing to do. He had already triple-checked everyone (he had been there for near a full shift now), seen some things he could have gone a lifetime without seeing, and had even become rebellious enough in his boredom to process a few on his own and fill out the paperwork.

For such a girly looking nine-year-old, Osu had no problem with the cadavers themselves. It was actually a bit refreshing to not continuously hear the blood running through every living creature around him and to be left alone with his own heartbeat. No urge to control the blood of those around him, no arguments with an imaginary person, and no wish to hear the Sound. Just a nice quite room with a bunch of dead people. He was worried that the calmness of that particular thought might not be very healthy. Maybe it was because of the long shifts he had been working, but he was rather distressed to find he was getting a little tired of people. He loved people, they were typically so nice to him.

Half joking with himself he said, "What do you think..." he looked at the clipboard next to the body, "Nakahara-San? Do you think I should stop taking such long shifts and go back to having a proper nap-time? What about you Yamauchi? Should I stop speaking to bodies even if it is a little lonely down here?" Osu sighed, "I thought so too." He pushed Mr. Nakahara back into the wall and continued with Ms. Yamauchi's paperwork. After a few minutes he thought he heard something. Was that footsteps? Maybe the doctors were back. After a good minute listening to the echos of approaching people... no it didn't sound quite right to be the doctors who had left him there. Though one of the voices was vaguely familiar.

Osu began peeking out of the morgue door waiting to see if whoever was down here would turn down his hallway. Anyone who looked down the morgue hallway would see the head of a little kid in custom bunny scrubs and solid blood red eyes peeking out the door to the morgue looking rather hopeful and curious at the same time. The one looked really familiar but he couldn't put a name to them at first. Wait... it was one of the Mochizuki's he went on a mission with once... Tama. He had met her brother a couple times, including the time he came to the hospital to register his kinjutsu and told the story of how he got it. Both of the twins had become Chimera from being possessed by ghosts. He didn't recognize the man with her though, though he was certainly dressed like hospital personnel. Fully stepping out of the morgue Osu gave a small bow towards them. "Greetings Mochizuki Tama." He looked puzzled at the other person. "Greetings... Doctor? I am MiT Osuteno. If you need any assistance in finding whatever genetic traits you are looking for or simply wish to browse, I am here to assist."

Tama was beginning to get frustrated with the uncooperative receptionist. "I never said anything about scheduling an operation, I don't need it. I just want to examine some dead bodies. Do I really need an appointment to look at dead bodies? It's not like I'm taking them for a test-drive outside the village or anything." I don't imagine I'll get the option of trying a body on and giving it back if I don't like it. Haruko did mention that the absorption thing was kinda permanent.

The back-and-forth bickering between the uncompromising receptionist and the persistent Mochizuki was interrupted by a white-haired teen, who quickly expedited the process of getting past the pesky desk person. Tama was highly appreciative, she was close to expediting the situation herself by removing the desk (and its occupant) from the hospital entirely. It would have felt really satisfying, but would probably have been counter-productive to her purpose. The doctor, Sasaki Kotsuko, walked at a brisk pace, finding a form along the way, and stating that he would like to get the troublesome stuff out of the way first. Tama nodded, forms and the like were boring and annoying to fill out. She had tried to avoid filling out the Kinjutsu registration form after the whole return from limbo schtick. Though Kitsune had put a stop to that. And forced her to fill it out properly.

"Mochizuki Tama, star performer of the Mochizuki Troupe, chuunin of Kumogakure, wife-to-be of the Shogun, etc., etc.," the young woman rattled off her self-given titles without missing a beat. "And just to make sure we're clear, I already have a Kinjutsu. I filled out the form and everything, so no needles or sharp or pointy things are needed. I am just here to search for additional," Tama paused as she flipped open her small note again, "extra genetic material." She quickly folded her note and slipped it into her pocket once more. "Previous or current conditions? Like what? I was shot once? Currently haunted by an incestuous ghost? Things like that?" Hopefully, the answer would suffice for now. Unless Kotsuko was inclined to give a simpler explanation to the chuunin.

As they continued down the way to the morgue, the med-nin in training presumably asking more questions and Tama attempting to answer them to the best of her ability, Tama noticed two ears and blood-red pupils tracking the pair's progress. Curious, she was about to ask Doctor Sasaki (whose name had been mentally shortened to Ko-chan) about the adorable creature poking out of the morgue, when it stepped forward and introduced itself. "Ah! Usa-chan, er, Osu-chan! It's been awhile! Last time was disassembling 'bloodless toys' that were 'unfit to even stand as ornanments' in your house, wasn't it? Ah good times, good times!" She bent down and squished Osuteno's cheeks. It was hard to believe that something so small and cute could become so adorably ferocious. It was a sight that Tama wanted to see again.

But that was another matter, for another time. Today she was here to body shop. "Yes, I would be glad to have both of your assistance." She pulled out her note yet again, the paper becoming more crumpled each time she did so. Proffering it to the two medical personnel, she said, "I'm looking for something along these lines, though I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to look for in a dead body, but that's why you guys are here, right?"

Scribble, scribble. Scratch, scratch. Kotsuko's pen flew across the page as he listed down all the things that the woman was saying. He wasn't really listening to much of it, since he just wanted to get it written down and done with. He did raise an eyebrow in two places: the woman's mention of the Mochizuki Clan, and her comments about previous conditions and her preexisting Kinjutsu. The first one was more due to his own personal fond memories. A thin smile snaked its way over his lips as he commented on it. "Mochizuki, huh? So that guy Tomo is one of yours? Good guy. He was fun to mess with." No sympathy showed on the boy's face as he kept going, scribbling out the rest of the notes on the page. Once he was done, the young man tore out the notes and folded it up and put it in his coat pocket. He'd get a nurse to handle the paperwork or something later. That only left them with the second curious bit of Tama's words. "Extra genetic material, eh? So you're looking to absorb another body? Chimera's are always so picky about what they absorb..." As they turned the corner to the hallway where the morgue was located, Kotsuko spotted a small child poking their head out of the doorway. He couldn't quite tell whether they were a girl or a boy. Trying really hard to figure out which one he was, the young man muttered under his breath, "...I'm not old enough to be Professor Oak." As the pair of them approached the morgue, Tama and the young...thing...seemed to burst out in acknowledgement of each other. They must already be acquainted.

When they had finished their little greeting, the young doctor introduced themselves as Osuteno. Thank god, Kotsuko was getting tired of constantly thinking of the kid as an 'it'. "Well met. Now, about those bodies..." Kotsuko grabbed the sheet of paper out of Tama's hands before the woman could complain. He quickly scanned it over, and then crumpled the page and threw it on the ground. "Wow, you have a really boring way of selecting these bodies. Predictable, too. I mean come on, give us a challenge here!" Appearing slightly irritated, the young man shook his head as he went around looking at the text that was printed onto each of the drawers. He worked his jaw as he did, seemingly thinking something over. As he kept looking, the young man called back to the two still standing there. "Look, we've got a lot of bodies that fit your description. To be frank, your criteria are really vague and unhelpful. Give us something more to work with than 'a really generically good body.'"

Osu tried to hide his face in embarrassment when Tama brought up what Inner Osu had said when they were in control, but Tama squishing his cheeks had made that very difficult. He didn't like when people touched his cheeks but for some reason everyone felt like they had the right to. He was relieved as Tama let go of his face and offered a note containing what she was looking for. As the other doctor took it Osu looked over his arm and skimmed through it. He couldn't help but agree that it was very vague though he didn't approve of how rude he was being. Osu went to the computer and printed off a list of the bodies currently in the morgue. Out of the 128 currently there only 17 failed to meet the requirements offered and Osu crossed them out and offered the list to the older doctor.

"We really do need more to work with Tama Onee-San. Are you after a bloodline or someone with a genetic predisposition towards a certain kind of combat? Do you want to be faster? Stronger? Smarter? Freely control a base or advanced element to a degree most others can't?" There were very many body types and abilities and if Tama could tell them what she really wanted it would make this a lot easier. "This isn't something you want to have a vague idea about. Whatever you decide on will become a part of your genetic code. It is a few steps up from a full-body tattoo in the difficulty to remove department."

"Hey my bro is fun to mess with isn't he," Tama agreed with the doctor called Sasaki, "But just so we're on the level, next time you want to mess with him, come see me first. We'll need to hear your proposals on how exactly you are going to mess with him. There's paperwork and stuff for that too, I mean, he is kinda important to the troupe and all. But once we get it classified under 'general entertainment' it's all kosher."

After the quick diversion Tama went back to business and thought about Osu's comments. "Hmm...well, I do tend to get very physical, or so people say," Tama began, "so I guess something more suited to close combat. Maybe if I could shoot bodily fluids like Osu here...hmmm...hey Osu, can I absorb you? Like permanently?" she asked the small shinobi with a bright smile on her face. A pause, and then, "Naw, just kidding. I can only absorb dead bodies anyways. Besides, I don't know if blood is really my thing. Hmm...," she trailed off thinking again. "I use my body as my weapon, you know, 'I am the bone of my sword,' and all that. So I guess something along those lines." Punching and kicking was her strong suit, though it had lessened a bit with her ghostly encounter, but it was still what she enjoyed the most. Maybe something to reinforce my body, she thought to herself, there's too many options!

"Ugh. All this thinking is making my head hurt! Is there anything I could punch around here, to clear my head?" Tama looked around, alas not many things were available for punching in a morgue. "Does anything I said help you guys narrow the gene pool a little?"

As Kotsuko took the list of bodies currently in the morgue from the young Osuteno, he began to flip through the pages as he sped read through the different options. Lots of information to sort through, and not many specifications to bring the list down. As the young man looked through the list, not even listening to the woman complaining about his treatment of her brother, the young man's mind began to wander. Some of these bodies looked pretty interesting, actually. They might be suitable for some very interesting research. Kotsuko began to star some very specific names on the list—some were due to bloodline traits, others had very specific bodily conditions, and others had abnormal skills that would be interesting to look into. As he went about looking through the list, though, the young woman's voice began to fade back into focus for him. He glanced up with a blank expression on his face as she began to get a little more specific about what it was she wanted. Something physical? Bone of the sword? The young man's eyebrow raised slightly as his mind began to catch up to what it was she subconsciously knew. "Oh? Now that's interesting..." Jeez, dealing with these kinds of people was such a pain. You really had to dig deep in order to get them to give an answer they already knew. They just didn't know that they knew.

"So, you need a body that's proficient in hand-to-hand combat..." The young man went down the list, crossing off all of those bodies that used long ranged techniques and genjutsu. They were down to about 50 out of 128. "...and you need it to be graceful and fluid..." Kotsuko crossed off the ones that used brute strength to fight, leaving only the fighters that seemed the most nimble and flexible. They were down to about 40 now. "...and you need it to be self-sufficient. A skill that doesn't need tools to make it work." Looking down the list, there were now only about 20 that fit the bill. Kotsuko's eyes swept over the list, knowing in his heart which ones would appeal to the woman. Many individuals on this list matched her specifications, but he was almost sure which ones she'd be interested in. Lifting his eyes up from the paper, the young man gave her and the younger doctor a devilish grin. Just what was he planning? "Something to punch? Now wouldn't that be something..." Turning his back to the two, as if he was going to walk around the room to look for something, the young man couldn't help but smile to himself. Without so much as a handseal, the young man activated his technique. A dark technique, vile and malicious, he had targeted the 20 or so bodies they'd singled out from the list. Suddenly, a bang reverberated through the morgue.

There was another. And another. They were coming from different sides, rattling from inside the morgue's cabinets. One of the bodies that Osuteno had been speaking to earlier, Yamauchi, began to move. The corpse lifted itself up, turning its head to look at the three of them in the room. Slowly the body began to get up, its rotted feet barely able to support its weight. Kotsuko, almost unable to hide his smirk, turned back to the two of them with a serious face. "Well, it looks like you got your wish. We should probably act quickly here..." Suddenly the other cabinets burst open, the bodies laying inside them getting up. It was like something out of a campfire story. The young man wondered how the other two would react.

Osu wasn't quite sure what the discussion about Tomo was about but that wasn't much of his business. What Tama said actually narrowed down the list quite a bit, after a quick and rather unfunny joke about absorbing him at which he laughed rather nervously. It actually did sound as if Tama knew exactly what she wanted. Before Osu could point this out to Tama he heard Kotsuko say something before a loud bang. The banging started coming from all sides, and then Osu noticed Yamauchi-San was getting up. "Well that certainly isn't something you see everyday. I doubt you can handle this on your own," a voice in Osu's head spoke up. Fantastic, the dead were rising and the voice in his head was back. Mr. Yamauchi better not mention anything Osu told him in confidence... Was that really what his first concern should be? No, he needed to prepare to defend himself and figure out exactly what was causing this.

Without Osu moving a muscle and his arms hanging to the sides, a small vortex of blood came into being that hovered beside him and from his back sprang wings of blood, far too heavy for flight, but lined into thousands of sharpened feathers ready to be launched with a flap and he gazed at the rather surprising spectacle around him. He stared at the other doctor in the room."Excuse me for not getting your name before doctor, but might I have it now?" Osu asked still without moving but already the corpse nearest him burst from the veins and fell apart, having been destroyed from the inside by a drop of Osu's blood. Any medic worth their scrubs knew that the dead could never truly rise from the grave in physical form on their own and it made the most sense to assume the person standing before him was causing this. There was no way this other doctor was seriously trying to start something in the hospital basement in a two on one fight, was there? Was he simply trying to grant Tama her desire for something to punch? If so, he was being terribly unprofessional concerning his use of the morgue corpses. "Tama-Senpai, mind that we are inside the hospital. Don't wish to cause too much of a mess."

Tama's eyes lit up like a small child's at Christmas. After giving a brief round of applause for Osuteno’s transformation, as well as a nod of acknowledgment for his warning, the chuunin lept into the group of 19 or so remaining corpses. Grabbing one by the face, she sampled some of its genetic code, using her chimeric ability to ‘try on’ some of their skills. When she finished, she tossed it back into the crowd, where it caused Mrs. Yamauchi, her husband, and several of their friends (who used to do tea all together while they were alive) to fall over comically. Tama immediately felt her skin harden protectively as some of the other corpses wailed on her. She returned the favor, smashing her fists into one of her assailants. The Mochizuki was pleasantly surprised to find that her punches seemed to pierce her target striking the corpse behind it as well.

The only downside was that Tama's sense of touch was lessened. As a performer, that wouldn't stand. Not to mention Tama had always enjoyed the wind rushing around her, and this body seemed to be more in tune with the earth than she was accustomed to. Flexibility was a must have, and though strong, this sample was too rigid for her liking. “This one looks a little more malleable,” she muttered to herself as she swept the legs out from underneath a rather pudgy and somewhat bloated corpse. Once the body was grounded, Tama quickly placed a hand on its chest to sample her second set of DNA.

She felt heavier, and her body felt bigger, but more importantly she felt hungry. So hungry in fact, that Tama almost left the morgue in search of food. She only returned to her original task after several zombies, Yamauchis included, blocked her path to the door. Angrily, the young woman swung her arm at the group of undead. Her arm ballooned to an enormous size, easily catching the rabble and smacking them against the wall. Intrigued, the Mochizuki performer experimented with expanding the different parts of her body. Slamming the corpses against the walls and objects of the morgue as she did so. Ohh! I could bust up! she thought to herself, imagining the look on Shiri-tan’s face when she could change her size at will. And without using transformation jutsu. However, the effort it took to adjust her proportions perfectly while battling was extremely tiring. “Ahh. This must be what Sonoko meant by good miles-per-calorie ratio,” she said sagely.

Tama German suplexed a body that was trying to grapple her, slamming it into the floor of the morgue with a sickening crunch. “Sorry Osu. I think i broke its spine.” Tama peered at the still twitching figure. Its pale white eyes stared into hers. A few seconds later an enlarged hand smashed the corpse's face in. “Sorry Osu. I think I broke its face, and white eyes are creepy on dead people.”

The next bodies that drew Tama’s notice were the Yamauchis. Despite the beating they had taken earlier, not only from Tama's tossing of the other corpses, but also from Osuteno's display of power, they seemed to remain relatively intact. Either due to excellent preservation procedures from the medical staff, or something more unique to them. Tama's hands enlarged once more as she caught Mrs. Yamauchi and began to absorb her genetic information. She lost the sense of bloatedness, and it was replaced with something similar to the first set of DNA she had tried on. Only this time it wasn't her skin that was hardening, but her bones. "Nice! Yamauchi-san you were holding out on me!" she yelled as the corpse dropped to the ground before shambling back to its feet. Strangely enough, though her bones felt denser than ever, Tama had a strange sensation of malleability, as if she could reshape them in some way. Though the Yamauchis were not giving Tama time to ponder this.

Despite the fact that they were lifeless, bloodless, mindless, and emotionless. It seemed that Mr. Yamauchi didn't take too kindly to Tama's parsing of his wife's genetic structure. And somehow he had swords growing out of his arms. Which made his assault on the young chimera all the more deadly. While in undeath, the former shinobi had lost much of his dexterity and strength, Tama could see vestiges of grace in his movements. They were so ingrained into his body that not even death could completely remove them. The same went for his wife as well, whose arm seemed to have turned into a large lance. And as the undead couple continued attacking Tama, she noticed that with every move they made their attacks became quicker and more precise. It would be only a matter of time before one would connect.

It was Mr. Yamauchi who struck the first blow. His twin, bone-white swords slicing into Tama's forearm as she attempted to block the attack. The chuunin hissed with pain as she began to bleed. A well-timed follow-up thrust from Mrs. Yamauchi's arm-lance-thing would have skewered the woman, had she not blasted herself backwards with a quick gust of wind. "Okay, I'm taking this one!" Tama pointed to Mrs. Yamauchi, who was charging forward, lance aimed expertly for Tama's vitals. Tama responded in kind, charging straight at the oncoming corpse. A chakra- infused back-hand knocked the lance aside, just enough to let Tama get in close, though a audible crack could be heard as the force required fractured the limb. With her good hand, Tama grabbed the dead woman's face. Concentrating, she focused entirely on absorbing the very essence of Mrs. Yamauchi. Whatever she wasor had , it would be Tama's now.

Mrs. Yamauchi's movements ceased as her body began to disintegrate and disappear into Tama's right hand. Tama's body began to show changes as well. Her skin began to gradually darken and a third color began to creep into her hair. However, the external changes were nothing compared to the internal ones. Tama had been unconscious when she first became a chimera, and so was unprepared for the trauma that accompanied the process of subjugating a body into her own.

When she had just toyed with Mrs. Yamauchi's abilities earlier, it had simply felt like there was a layer over her bones. Something she could shed at will, if she grew bored of it. Now it felt like her bones were being simultaneously split apart and knit back together. They fluctuated in size and shape, each new contortion severing her skin in multiple areas. But the torn areas healed themselves almost as soon as they were opened. Which only caused the woman more pain, as the freshly healed patches of skin were raw and soon ripped apart by more bones jutting from her body. But that wasn't all, the human body doesn't react kindly to having its genetic code forcibly rewritten, especially twice. Tama's body was attempting to reject the change, no matter how willing the owner was.

As a subconscious reaction to the extreme pain, the chuunin's other abilities began act up. Parts of her body at times would become wraith-like. The ability to slip into an ethereal state was a boon for those who walked with ghosts, for it made them less vulnerable to physical attacks, and thereby lessened the pain that would come from them. However, that didn't help it when one's own body was causing itself harm. But the logic was lost on the girl writhing in pain. In fact, her translucent body would allow both Kotsuko and Osuteno to actually see bones shifting and changing inside of Tama. A morbidly fascinating sight to be sure.

Meanwhile, the corpses still shambled about, but Tama was in no position to address that issue. In fact the defenseless chuunin would probably need assistance, both in protecting her person and in the medical sense in order to safely finish the process.

Kotsuko watched with glee as the little boy and the woman sprang right into action. The corpses began to file in towards them, focusing most of their efforts towards the woman — as well they should have, for she was the one who had requested such an activity. Kotsuko was enjoying this little show, seeing the young shinobi with his penchant for plasma based abilities and the woman's aptitude for replication. The two of them were quite fascinating, indeed. As he watched the two in action, the young man pulled out a little black notebook and began to write some things down. He never once took his gaze off of the two fighting, however. His pen flew across the page as he observed the two of them, noting down different things about the way in which they were fighting, their skills, and various other things worth noting. He just stood there, taking his notes, while the woman seemed to be having the time of her life fighting these things off. When the young boy, Osuteno, called towards Kotsuko for his name, the young man merely waved his hand at him before getting back to his note taking. "Oh, it doesn't matter. Don't worry about it. Shouldn't you be more worried about the walking corpses rather than my name?" Kotsuko gave the kid a sideways smirk, somewhere in-between a genuine smile and a gruesome grin. But Kotsuko didn't do anything else questionable. He didn't activate any jutsu, nor did he make any handseals. He merely stood there, observing the scene as it unfolded. Around the time that the Mochizuki woman had absorbed the DNA of the so called 'Mrs. Yamauchi', Kotsuko stopped his scribbling and instead began to watch very carefully. He walked a few paces forward, trying to see if he could get a better look at the events unfolding. "Seems like she's found what it was that she came here for..." The young man seemed pleased with the events that had transpired. As Tama kept on with the battle, Kotsuko seemed to be getting more and more excited. It wasn't until, finally, when she absorbed the full genetic code of the corpse formally known as 'Mrs. Yamauchi' that he truly seemed ecstatic. "There we go! That's what I like to see!"

It wasn't long, however, until the pain of absorbing another person's genetic code began to sink into her. Her cells were ripping each other apart, and it seemed like she had some other symptoms too. Her body was having a hard time re-configuring itself to account for the extra genetics, and it hadn't taken long for her to collapse to the floor in agonizing pain. She was helpless, now, to fight against the lumbering corpses. It didn't matter, they'd served their purpose. The young man merely waved them down, and the corpses began to back away. They organized themselves into a single-file line, off to the side so that Osuteno and Kotsuko could approach the woman. Kotsuko looked to the young boy, noting the pair of blood wings that were still active. "The fighting is over now, so put those away. It'll be a little hard to keep this woman alive with those things in the way." Turning back to the woman, the young man knelt down next to her. "Well, this is certainly interesting. She seems to be slipping in and out of this plane of existence. Seems she's part wraith. Probably another one of the skills she's absorbed thus far, which would mean this is her second time doing this..." Noting the intensity at which the bones inside her ghostly body were growing, the young man rubbed his chin in amazement. "While incredibly useful, and very cool, this doesn't look safe. She's going to need to be under some intense anesthetics, otherwise she's going to hurt herself." As he said so, the young man brought his hand up to her mouth. Immediately it began to glow with a green hue, indicating his use of a medical technique. Kotsuko was infusing into her system a powerful painkiller, to the point that she wouldn't even notice that she was in pain. She would still be a little conscious, though. Not enough to really remember what was going to happen, but enough so that she could respond weakly to what was going on around her. Sighing, the young man picked himself up off the ground. He looked to Osuteno as he began to proceed to the next step. "Well, that should keep her relatively sedated. She's going to need it for the next phase..."

Kotsuko unstrapped the small gourds of iron sand at his waist, depositing them on the ground before him. With one hand, he used his magnetic chakras to pull a small stream of the stuff up into the air. It hovered in his palm like an amorphous ball, shifting in size and shape. As he focused, he'd explain himself to the young boy. "Alright, so right now this woman is seriously hurting. We're going to speed up the development of her new bone structure, okay? I know you've got a knack for blood-based ninjutsu, so you're going to help with the creation of new marrow for her. She's just absorbed Kaguya DNA, so right now her entire skeletal structure is in jeopardy, understand?" Kotsuko's face was blank right now. He was in operation mode. Life was, normally, a game to him; however, when he was operating things very quickly become serious business. He wasn't going to be the one responsible for this woman's death. Not today, at least. "While you're facilitating new marrow growth, I'm going to help direct the new bone tissue to grow faster. This way, she can get through this process much faster." With the ball of shifting iron sands in his hand, the young man brought the orb down to her skin. Using it to make a precise incision, the young man would slowly pour the iron sand into her bloodstream. It was his signature style of medical ninjutsu, where he would use the iron sand inside of her to accurately and safely perform medical techniques internally. It was much more effective than normal methods, and was far safer too. Kotsuko looked to the young boy once more. "Once you're ready, we'll begin this. Just tell me when, and we'll both begin the process of saving this woman. You ready?" As soon as the kid said the word, Kotsuko would begin his technique. He would utilize his chakra to help grow her bones faster, accelerating the process she was undergoing drastically. It would be the fastest way to get her through this process, by a long shot.

Osu's adorable little face could not adequately express his annoyance with the older doctor as with a few flaps of his wings a couple bodies were pinned to the walls or floor. It was difficult to tell since Osu didn't use it and it was a violently rotating mass of blood, but the object at his side stayed targeted at the unnamed doctor in preparation for his next move. But it never came. Instead it became a sort of waiting game as Osu kept one eye on the older boy and the other on Tama who appeared to be the other's main interest. Tama of course was completely absorbed in fighting and well... absorbing the abilities of her targets. It was a fascinating fighting style though the weakness of it appeared that in large part it required one to have knowledge of the target's abilities and experience in using those abilities to be truly effective. It might actually be better suited for absorbing the powers of an ally who could guide them through the most effective applications of the ability.

The true spectacle was when Tama began absorbing Yamauchi-San, whose silence now felt guaranteed to Osu as she was consumed by Tama's hand. Dead men tell no tales or not after she started walking Osu had to fight the senseless fear that she would start yelling out all the private things he had laid on her during his shift... Why did he suddenly feel like something unfair has occurred? That aside Tama suddenly didn't look so well, especially when a bone came ripping out of her... at least he knew it to be bone even though it certainly wasn't shaped like any you would ever find in a medical text. It was obvious that Tama's body did not agree with her modification and it was a wonder that the bones weren't piercing through anything too important aside from her skin. The only reason he knew that of course was because he could see inside her as if she were one of those clear plastic case teaching models... It was time to get to work.

Rather annoyingly the other doctor moved first and told Osu to put away his wings. As if he was not the reason they were out to begin with! ...But now was not the time to argue and Osu was forced to move at the other's pace... For now. The voice in his head was shouting something about ripping a leg off one of the corpses and something about ending up with someone else's foot in the guy's mouth but Osu had no idea why it would need the whole leg for that nor did he really have the time to think on it as he knelt down and started forming hand seals as she was sedated by the nameless mean person. It was mostly something to use when a doctor felt uncertain about a procedure, Osu wasn't really worried about Tama's survival chances, but the seal that he placed over her heart set only to activate should something turn dire would give him a bit more peace of mind as he puzzled out exactly how to go about encouraging bone marrow production.

"I'm ready," was all Osu said in response. He wasn't really but they needed to start 30 seconds ago. He held his hands out over Tama and closed his eyes, relying entirely on his hearing and the vague sense of touch he had from the blood he was beginning to manipulate. It was unnerving to hear the disturbance that the iron sand was creating in Tama's bloodstream but that was hardly what mattered now. Drops of his blood were dripping from his hand and racing across Tama's skin and seeping in to seek the various concentrations of hemopoietic stem cells in her body, mostly concentrated in what was known as red marrow. His chances of properly being able to manipulate yellow marrow were nowhere close to the likelihood of being able to manipulate the red marrow as that was where majority of blood cell production occurred. Rather he suspected that he and his fellow bloodline users had a special variety of hemopoietic stem cells in their bodies which allowed them to more easily manipulate their blood production, though it was a hard line of research to follow without endangering a secret that was more than just his. After all, there was a possibility that if such a revelation were made public they might find themselves picked for parts like the Sharingan and Byakugan users.

Normally he wouldn't be distracting himself with thoughts of his own bloodline during a procedure, but he suspected that the kaguya bloodline actually worked in a similar fashion as his own. This line of thought was further reinforced by what Osu suspected was the yellow marrow interfering with his attempt to bring the red marrow under control. It was always possible the stromal stem cells were the key to all this though he had neither the time nor a thought more to spare as he struggled to reign in Tama's marrow and encourage proper growth. It was nothing like manipulating nice liquid blood, sure this was where blood cells were produced but it would have been as well to say an origami master should be able to bend a tree. The source was far harder to manipulate than the product. It actually did feel like he was trying to bend a tree as he attempted to keep the marrow in check, his rail thin muscles tensing to match his mental strain. Osu was so busy concentrating that he failed to notice a very sharp bone spring from Tama's arm and stop just before it would have stabbed into his shoulder. He spared but a moment to shock before he realized that the pause had undone much of his efforts.

"The stromal cells, or rather the bone cells, are needing more than what she can deliver... I believe. I'm unsure, but I believe the mutation is forcing her osteoclasts and osteoblasts to cycle at an impossible rate and her blood can’t keep up with oxygen and nutrient delivery... Maybe?" Osu hated being so uncertain and there was just too much guesswork to be done and he was busy forcing the marrow he could control back where it belonged. It took everything he had just to keep what he could under control. He was too unsure of how much Tama's body could handle to really consider speeding anything along, so to speak... Wait if both the Chigokai and Kaguya bloodlines worked the way he was hypothesizing... No, he had to be wrong. After all, cells acting in such a fashion would mean cancer. Cancer being a mutation. Which would explain a Chigokai's blood production or a kaguya's bone creation... No, that couldn't be it... There's no way entire bloodlines could be based on passing down genetic cancers.

"Focus you idiot you are going to get us stabbed by this fool if you don't either move away or get everything in there under control. I don't care if we have a third arm growing out our leg, it won't matter after one of these bones stabs through our skull. Save the questions for later for that old woman or another doctor. Get your head back in there." The voice was right, as difficult that was to admit, he had to concentrate on getting this marrow to grow properly... He really hoped the other guy was more sure of what he was doing.

[spoilername="Medical Specialization Unlocked"]Kotsuko has received novice in emergency surgery. Unfortunately, you are about a hundred words short for an additional spec. If you do more medical mojo towards bloodlines, let me know.

Osu gains experienced in Bloodlines and novice in emergency surgery[/spoilername]

Tama watched as the two med-nins worked on her body. The whole experience was very surreal, she was on the ground, heavily sedated and with at least three different chakra processes running through her body and could see them from that perspective. Yet at the same time she could see them, and herself, as if she was a third party as well.

"Simply fascinating isn't it," a woman's voice trilled from the opposite side of Tama's body. It was a younger version of the same Yamauchi-san that Tama had absorbed. With a grin on her face the woman looked more mischievous than zombie-like as she continued, "the little bloodling here and the self-centered doctor make for quite a pair don't they. Completely different styles of practicing medicine." When Tama didn't respond the young woman explained, "The bloodling, sorry, Chigokai. Osuteno was his name right? He seems to focus on trying to encourage his patient's natural healing processes to kick in, while subtly reining in out of control processes. His counterpart on the other hand forces the body to obey with chakra and scalpel as a king in fairy tales would subjugate an unruly domain with magic and swords. Oh come now, stop staring at me like you've seen a ghost, Mochizuki Tama."

At the sound of her name, Tama finally replied to the woman, "What are you after? Trying to take my body are you? I know how this works, and you're not getting mine!" She dropped into a fighting stance in response to which Yamauchi-san laughed.

"Relax, I've no desire to possess you and live a second life on the mortal plane. But you do need something I have, "the woman cheerily remarked, "I mean you can't rely on the bloodling and doctor-dono here forever."

"What is it that I need exactly?"

"Knowledge. Specifically how to control your new improved self. Knowledge that you would already have if you weren't such a willful brat. No offense, I actually like that about you. But Bonelings like us require a bit more finesse than say, those silly eye things. I mean seriously, they work for everyone, just like whores."

"Well Haruko tried to possess my body last time this happened, so I went in expecting a fight. No one tricking me this time, even if you do compliment me."

"You know, that's the problem. I was prepared to be absorbed soul, memories, and all, but you simply took the body and incorporated it into your own. That may work for absorbing shinobi who are simply 'good at' something, but hereditary skills are a whole new level of difficulty. There's an inborn knowledge of how to control them, in addition to the clan teachings."

"So what, I've done hard stuff before."

"But nothing that involved your body tearing itself apart from the inside out, I bet. You will die without that knowledge."

"What do you want then? You can't be offering this for free," Tama was intrinsically skeptical. She was at a disadvantage here, Tama wouldn't directly admit it, but she could tell that things weren't looking well for her on the ground.

"Well I suppose it's not exactly free, by absorbing me our psyches are going to meld. Don't worry," Tama had started to glare at the woman, "your personality will remain intact, I'm nowhere near your level of stubbornness. You'll probably just feel a few of my strongest desires is all. As for how it'll actually affect you? I can't say. But you'll still be Mochizuki Tama. Just cooler, cause bones are cool."

"Will I know everything you know, like your life's memories and such?"

"Oh heavens, no," the woman laughed, "I've been deceased so long, I barely remember any of my time alive. I had no regrets, nothing to really tie me down so to speak. Well, save one. But you'll be finding out about that soon enough. And it's not really related to any specific memory, so you don't need to worry about that either."

Tama was extremely irritated by this Yamauchi. She spoke as if she knew that Tama was going to accept her soul, like Tama had no choice in the matter. Well she didn't, but she didn't like it being so plainly pointed out to her.
"Alright, alright. Let's start over with a little improv. You know, like an icebreaker of sorts, " the spirit swirled around before beginning to theatrically over exaggerate her next lines, "Help me Mochizuki Tama, you're my only hope. I had a dream, a dream that I can't fulfill any longer. I can only turn to you for aid," she paused floating forward and clasping Tama's hands, "I pass the torch onto you, keep the dream alive!"

"Wait, I never--," Tama didn't get to finish the sentence as Yamauchi pulled Tama's spiritual body towards her and interrupted any protest she would have given with a deep kiss. Tama could feel a tingle of electricity during the unnecessarily long smooch. She broke away, stammering, "H-Hey, no, that's Shiri-tan's, only for kissing Shiri-tan. Maybe Nekomimi too, but, no. How could you?" Tama was used to being on the aggressor's side when it came to intimacy, so she was completely taken aback by Yamauchi's forwardness.

"Oh come now, it wasn't that bad, and besides you've stabilized out there as well. Doctor Vainglory and the bloodling nurse took care of your physical problems, and I've just solved your mental ones. Well, one of them anyway," Yamauchi giggled. Tama looked down at her body, and sure enough her bones had stopped trying to impale, slice, or otherwise maim the two med-nin. Although another problem had arisen. While Tama's body had stopped seeing itself as the enemy, it had instead recognized the foreign chakra in her body and seemed determined to repulse it. Her bones had grown and curled around her body to form a rather intimidating suit of armor. While the majority of it was bone white, there were patterns of steel gray and dark red running across it. Any further techniques used on it would simply increase the color patterns that were strewn across the bone armor.

"Now, I think our time's up," Yamauchi said, giving Tama a small smile, "My husbando is eagerly awaiting my return on the other side, and you should get back in control of your body before something else happens."

"Wait, what's going to happen to my body? And what did you do to me?"

"Oh I haven't the foggiest anymore, but you do," with a playful smirk and a wink the ghost of Yamauchi faded before Tama's eyes.

What does she mean, I-, Tama began to think to herself while she observed millions of tiny, unnoticeable at first, razor-sharp needles of bone begin to protrude out of the armor encasing her body, and she knew. A defense mechanism, the armor could produce spikes to attack hostiles foolish enough to challenge the lords and ladies of battle at close range. It felt like she had always known she could do that, it was second-nature after all. Tama felt herself smirk at the thought of the two med-nin being unable to react effectively against the move, it would be entertaining to watch to be sure. They would be hard-pressed to oppose the abilites and battle prowess of the Kaguya, trained from birth to be masters of...war?

Tama shook her spectral head, she wasn't a Kaguya, she was a Mochizuki. She was a chimera who had absorbed a Kaguya. Which made her a Kaguya, a queen of the battlefield since birth, trained for the stage to be the best warrior her clan had ever produced. No, that's not right, Tama thought. Or was it? None of her siblings were very warrior-like, nor did her parents necessarily encourage her to be a warrior. All Tama wanted to do was be the center of attention. And being the avatar of battle was the path she had decided to follow all those years ago, Wait, that's not it, my mind's all foggy. The star performer of the Mochizuki Troupe, that's what she was, nothing would ever change that. The battlefield is also a stage, though, she thought to herself. Naturally, she would be the best there too, it was her birthright after all. As the queen of battle perfomances, star of the Mochizuki Troupe.

Tama shoved the state of her jumbled mind aside for the moment, "Anyways, I have to stop me," she paused slightly as she pondered the idiocy of her words, which in itself surprised Tama, then the chuunin dove back into her body, opening her eyes, and coughing and gasping for breath. The manifold bone needles folded back into the armor as the carapace itself retreated back under her skin.

"I'm okay...I think...," she panted weakly as she regarded the two med-nin who had gone through their own ordeals in order to save her life, how could she have entertained the notion that it would be entertaining to watch them dodge for their lives. It was an act unbefitting one such as herself. "You have rendered me a great service," the words felt awkward coming out of her mouth. Some part of Tama's mind felt they were not hers, but that was preposterous. Right? How could these words belong to anyone else, Tama was still Tama. As she continued to speak, the awkwardness persisted, but the feeling was not as intense as it had been the first time she spoke, "I am in you debt Bloodling Osu, and you as well doctor." Tama voice was still rather weak and raspy, due to the screams of pain and still being somewhat sedated. The effects of the anesthetic had been lessened due to the pair of medics kicking her cellular reproduction into overdrive. She was still immobile for the most part, but no longer unconscious. If she was feeling any pain currently, she didn't show it.

"If you could help me into a bed though, I'd appreciate it further. I mean, not that the morgue floor is uncomfortable or anything...," she trailed off, giving Kotsuko a quick glance, and then Osu. "Oh and Osu, don't worry. It's a secret to everybody," Tama gave a small wink to the small medic. She wasn't sure exactly why she said that, or winked at the girl. Tama assumed that it must have meant she had discussed something with her earlier, but she just couldn't remember what it was about. This was the first time she had seen the mini medic in a while, wasn't it? Oh well, if it was a secret discussion, then maybe it was better for Osu if she had forgotten what they had talked about, she mused. Maybe it would come back to her if she rested, sleep sounded real good right now. At least she had shown that ghost a thing or two. She was foolish to have challenged me, no one influences Mochizuki Tama but Mochizuki Tama. So it has been said, so shall it be. Tama was confident in the fact that she remained one-hundred percent herself. And secure in this confidence, she drifted off to sleep on the cold floor.

So far, the treatment was going well. The two of them, together, and been doing rather well in encouraging new skeletal growth in the young woman. It meant she wasn't going to die here, which was definitely good news. Kotsuko still had to study her, after all, and corpses gave away so much less information than living subjects. Besides, it wouldn't do for a woman to die on his watch—he'd be put on Kitsune's watch-list again. So, as Kotsuko slaved over the dying woman before him, he was glad to see that their efforts were not in vain. "Good work, erm...uh, what was your name again?" Kotsuko never was one for being good at remembering names.

As the healing continued, however, something suddenly changed. Ko felt it immediately, and completely ignored any words his companion might have said. He turned to the Mochizuki woman, feeling a shift in the tide of their struggle. Her bones were growing faster now, seeming to indicate that they were growing on their own. This would have been wonderful news, on any other occasion. However, given the fact that the Mochizuki woman had just absorbed the bloodline of a Kaguya, this might not be the bet thing for them. If her bones were regrowing on their own, she was gaining control of her abilities. And yet, she didn't seem to show any signs of calming down just yet. A rampaging bloodline user was not a good thing, especially not a bloodline as deadly as the Kaguya. "Get back! She's gaining control of her abilities!" Kotsuko would push the younger boy out of the way first, then moved to get out of the way himself. He quickly would try to rush he iron sand out of her body, without regard for tearing apart any flesh, as she would merely grow it back instantly. He would try to use the sand to protect himself. It would be too late, though, because not a second later the woman's body would release a maelstrom of spiked protrusions from all over her body. Kotsuko probably could have dodged them, if he really tried. But that would be against the point. With a gleeful twinkle in his eye, one of the bones would pierce his right leg. A grunt of pain escaped his mouth, but the display of pain was short lived.

Bringing forth a small bit of the iron sand, the young man collected it into a thin, spinning disk. Extending his hand into an open palm, the young man would have the disk hover over his fingertips as it begun to pick up speed. With little effort, Ko brought the make-shift saw down onto the extended bone. Freeing himself, the woman's bone was still stuck in his leg as he backed away from her. A grin spread across his face as he began to stop his own bleeding, his prize still lodged deep into his flesh. "Well, that was certainly painful." He didn't have time for celebration, though. The situation was just beginning to unfold.

Pretty soon, the entanglement of bones began to calm down. They would start to coalesce, drawing closer into the woman's body as if they were some sort of shield. She was trying to protect herself? The young Ko looked on in awe, wondering what mysteries and secrets he might be able to unlock from this woman. He had all the puzzle pieces he'd need. The bone. The blood on his sand. He had everything he needed to unlock her every secret. He wasn't the kind of man to do so much work to help someone else, and not get anything in return. He was a man that knew what his time was worth, and he fully expected to be rewarded for his efforts. This time, the woman would be paying with her secrets, whether she knew it or not. All he needed now was for her to wake up and he could keep this whole operation under wraps, disguised as a genuine attempt to make sure she was healthy and okay. He turned to his readers, smirking at them, "You know, I'm not sure what else you would have expected. I'm not a nice person, you know."

Soon enough, Ko had his wish. The plate-mail of bone receded, revealing a vulnerable and oddly different Mochizuki Tama. When she had come to, something about her seemed different. Her words were more...proper? But at the same time, they weren't. It was weird. Nothing about the woman was making sense, but that wasn't what Ko was mostly concerned with. With a smile on his face, the young doctor greeted the awakening woman as he clutched the wound on his right leg. "Very nice to see you awake again, Miss Tama. I take it everything went well?" Ko's smile turned to a grimace, though, as his hand brushed over the bone still stuck in his leg. Gripping it with one hand, he gave the woman a weak smile. "Just one second, ma'am." With a single yank, he pulled the bone clean out of his leg. Covering the wound with his right hand, Ko immediately began to pour out chakra into his wound, stopping the bleeding and repairing the skin and muscle tissue. He didn't need a perfect healing right now, just enough to be able to walk. Gripping the blood covered bone in his other hand, Ko looked back up at the Mochizuki. "All good over here. What concerns me more is whether you're okay." With a gilded smile on his face, Kotsuko tried to stand himself up on his uninjured leg. He seemed okay. Mostly.

Limping over to the counter, Ko grabbed two plastic bags. In the first, he deposited the bloodied bone. He'd have to clean it off to get his blood off of it, so it doesn't mess with his tests later. In the second, he stashed a small amount of the bloodied iron sand. With this, he'd have all the information he'd need to figure out everything he needed about this woman's DNA. Turning back to the little doctor and the woman, he gave them both a smile. "Going to need these for the medical report. Just need to run some tests to make sure everything's okay. Wouldn't want there to be any unnoticed complications with this process, right?" He'd tuck the bags into his coat pocket as he walked towards the woman, offering a slightly bloodied hand to her. "Come, shall we get you to that hospital bed?"

Osu had no time to bother with the other doctor and whatever he was asking as his hands were figuratively full with trying to get this whole mess sorted out. The marrow wasn't being cooperative at all and the situation was growing more dangerous. Suddenly though, and very surprising to Osu, the marrow began doing what it was supposed to do on its own. Though as he was working on it still he felt the marrow begin to flex... As Osu realized what was going on and his eyes widened, the other doctor shouted and shoved him out of the way having sensed the same thing. Why in the world did the other boy shove him when he needed to focus on getting away himself? It wasn't like Osu was defenseless as his appearance might imply as blood was already around him prepared to form a shield when he noticed the change inside Tama. It also seemed... oddly selfless when compared to his earlier attitude.

For a minute Osu watched the bone activity in front of them as the seemed to ripple and react across Tama's body in a rather protective fashion... And then Tama was awake again after the armor receded. Something was different though, in her manner of speech that is. "It was no problem at all Tama-San," Did she just call him a bloodling? "Of course we should get you to..." Osu paused and looked around the room and the mess it was in, and remembered that he was actually responsible for it until the actual doctors came back. He then lloked at the other boy's injured leg that he didn't put much effort into healing and sighed. To add to everything he suddenly found himself confused when Tama mentioned about something being a secret, but he simply gave a polite nod anyway. Did he and Tama talk about something? After a moment there were four Osu's standing there with one going to fetch a gurney and two others beginning to clean up the mess. "Unfortunately I need to stay in the morgue and clean up but one of me will be happy to help you find a bed when he comes back with the gurney. No need for you to walk just yet. The same could be said for someone else." Osu said looking at the other boy who Osu didn't realize was an MiT like he was. "Maybe I should send two to give you both a ride unless someone wants to go ahead and take proper care of their leg." Osu didn't really have a good feeling about the other person, but wouldn't hesitate to fix up his leg if he asked for assistance. Regardless of the other boy's answer Osu had a bit to clean up here before the doctors got back and to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be.

When they left the morgue in whatever state Osu would say. "I bid you both farewell and good day." With a small polite bow to punctuate before continuing to clean.
